Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leadership style, organizational culture and career development on job satisfaction with work motivation as a mediating variable for District/City BPS employees in Aceh Province. The number of respondents in this study were 214 civil servants at the Regency/City BPS in Aceh using the Stratified Random Sampling method. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS Software. The results of this study found that leadership style and organizational culture directly had a significant effect on job satisfaction, while career development had no significant effect on work motivation. Then work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, while leadership style, organizational culture and career development have no significant effect on job satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract

The quality of learning requires innovation in teaching methods to improve student motivation, activity and learning outcomes. This pseudo-experimental research aims to determine the differences in motivation, activity, and learning outcomes of students taught using the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by student books (DL 1) and videos (DL 2). This study involved all students of class X at SMAN 8 Makassar and randomly selected class X.3 and X.7 as samples. Data were collected using a motivation questionnaire, observation sheet, and learning outcome test. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of averages and inferential in the Manova Test. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference in the effect of the two treatments on student motivation, activity, and learning outcomes. Where students who were taught using a video-assisted discovery learning model were better than student books, the findings in this study imply that increasing the motivation, activity, and learning outcomes of students in high school should be given more attention through the application of appropriate learning models and media

This type of research is an experiment with a posttest-only control group design. The sampling technique is using random sampling. The sample in this study was XI 5 class as the control class and XI 6 as the experimental class, each class totalling 32 students at SMAN 14 Makassar. The instruments used were observation sheet of learning activity, questionnaire of learning motivation, learning outcome test with multiple choice type. Research data analysis includes descriptive and inferential analysis and uses non-parametric testing with mann whithney test using SPSS type 25.0. The results of descriptive analysis showed that implementing of the TPACK-integrated SaLDI learning model in the experimental class had the ability of active learning activities, very high learning motivation and good learning outcomes. The results of the infrential analysis show that the alpha significance is smaller than 0.05. So, there is a positive influence of SaLDI learning model integrated with TPACK on the activity, motivation and learning outcomes of Biology students at SMAN 14 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of various types of flipped classrooms (Mastery Flipped, Peer Instruction Flipped, and Problem-Based Learning Flipped) assisted by Learning Management System (LMS) on creative thinking skills. The research design used is pretest-posttest control group design. The type of research is experimental. The research population came from grade VII students of SMP Negeri 17 Baubau consisting of 5 classes. The research sample consisted of 104 students consisting of 4 classes. The type of instrument used was a creative thinking ability test which aims to assess the impact of the implementation of flipped classrooms on students' creative thinking skills. The test was given before and after the implementation of flipped classrooms. The data collection technique used was simple random sampling. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential data analysis, namely by conducting normality, homogeneity, ANCOVA, and LSD tests. The results showed that the three types of flipped classrooms had a significant effect on improving creative thinking skills, with the PBL-Flipped type showing the highest average score. Problem-based discussions in PBL-Flipped train students to see problems from various perspectives, generate unique solutions, and improve analytical and innovative skills. In addition, the use of LMS strengthens the effectiveness of the flipped classroom by providing flexible access to materials, increasing interaction between teachers and students, and creating a more personal and dynamic learning environment.
