Abstract

Pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran IPA di sekolah belum dilaksanakan secara autentik dan belum te`rintegrasi dengan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumenn authentic assessment pada pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII pada materi Indera Penglihatan dan Alat Optik.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dan kelas IX SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan, yang mengacu pada model pengembangan model 4-D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, et.al terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: (a) tahap define (pendefinisian); (b) tahap design (perencanaan); (c) tahap develop (pengembangan); (d) tahap disseminate (penyebaran). Produk yang dihasilkan adalah instrumen authentic assessment pada pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual untuk materi Indera Penglihatan dan Alat Optik kelas VIII Semester 2. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: produk yang terdiri dari pedoman penilaian kompetensi sikap ilmiah, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan disertai lampiran perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari silabus, RPP dan LKS memiliki kualitas baik dilihat dari: (1) hasil analisis data validasi, yaitu nilai rata-rata validasi isi pedoman authentic assessment pada tahap validasi sebesar 3,32 yang berarti memenuhi kriteria sangat baik; nilai rata-rata validasi isi lampiran perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 3,32 yang berarti memenuhi kriteria sangat baik; (2) hasil analisis data uji coba skala besar yang terdiri dari: (a) reliabilitas instrumen penilaian kompetensi sikap ilmiah sebesar 0,782 menunjukkan kategori tinggi; (b) reliabilitas instrumen penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan sebesar 0,54 menunjukkan kategori cukup; (c) reliabilitas instrumen penilaian kompetensi keterampilan sebesar 0,765 menunjukkan kategori tinggi; (3) hasil analisis data tahap penyebaran yang terdiri dari: (a) kevalidan dan reliabilitas tes pengetahuan menunjukkan semua item tes valid dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,86 menunjukkan kategori tinggi; (b) respon terhadap penilaian sikap ilmiah menunjukkan kriteria yang sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai 3,82; (c) respon terhadap penilaian keterampilan menunjukkan kriteria yang sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai 3,73.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur pengembangan modul berorientasi POE berwawasan lingkungan pada materi pencemaran, kelayakan modul, efektivitas modul, dan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan modul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi. Sampel pengembangan meliputi sampel validasi produk sejumlah 4 validator, sampel uji coba terbatas pada 10 siswa, dan sampel uji coba lapangan sejumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket untuk analisis kebutuhan, validasi ahli, dan tanggapan siswa terhadap modul; lembar observasi untuk hasil belajar psikomotorik, afektif, dan keterlaksanaan sintaks; wawancara untuk analisis kebutuhan, tanggapan siswa terhadap modul saat uji coba terbatas, dan lapangan; dan tes untuk hasil belajar kognitif. Uji coba lapangan menggunakan one group pretest-posttes design. Data hasil belajar kognitif dihitung dengan gain ternormalisasi dan diuji dengan uji t dua sampel berpasangan, sedangkan hasil belajar psikomotorik dan afektif dihitung persentase ketercapaiannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: pengembangan modul berorientasi POE berwawasan lingkungan pada materi pencemaran menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi melalui tahapan research and information collection, planning, developpreliminary form of products, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, dan operational product revision; kelayakan modul bernilai 3,3 setelah dilakukan uji lapangan dan berkategori “Baik”; pencapaian hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kategori “Sedang”; dan setelah dilakukan uji secara statistik diperoleh perbedaan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

ABSTRAK- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran model formal dan informal hands on activities, pengaruh kreativitas dan sikap peduli lingkungan, serta interaksinya terhadap prestasi belajar biologi pada materi Plantae. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen, desain faktorial 2 x 2 x 2 dengan melibatkan dua kelompok eksperimen tanpa kelompok kontrol yaitu kelas XA dan XD, semester genap tahun pelajaran 2011-2012 di SMA Negeri 3 Madiun. Teknik sampling adalah teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk hasil belajar ranah kognitif, sedangkan ranah afektif dan psikomotor diperoleh dari hasil penggabungan antara observasi dengan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji anava tiga jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) tidak ada pengaruh model formal dan informal hands on activities terhadap prestasi belajar ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa, (2) ada pengaruh kreativitas tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa, (3) ada pengaruh sikap peduli lingkungan tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa, (4) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran (formal dan informal hands on activities) dengan kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa, (5) ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran (formal dan informal hands on activities) dengan sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap prestasi kognitif, sedang untuk afektif dan psikomotor tidak ada, (6) tidak ada interaksi antara kreativitas dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa, (7) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran (formal dan informal hands on activities), kreativitas dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa.

Abstract

The 21st-century learning paradigm is characterized by integrating technology into learning facilitating flexible and accessible learning experiences. One such model is hybrid learning, enabling education to transcend time and place with technological aid. Amidst this backdrop, it is crucial that hybrid learning provides education and fosters essential skills of the 21st century, including critical thinking and creativity. This research endeavors to establish a connection between the learning media employed in hybrid learning and the enhancement of critical thinking and creativity skills within the Science and STEM education context. The study also investigates the utilization of laboratory-based applications in chemistry instruction. Employing a meta-analysis approach with descriptive analysis methods, the researchers scrutinized 50 articles cataloged in Scopus, focusing on publications from the past decade. The meta-analysis findings unveil a significant effect size of 0.87, indicating a substantial correlation between the use of learning media and the cultivation of critical thinking skills. Moreover, the association between hybrid learning's learning media and creativity skills is evidenced by an effect size of 0.94. Consequently, it can be inferred that a substantial correlation exists between learning media in hybrid learning and the development of creativity and critical thinking abilities. The impact of laboratory-based applications and software in science education, particularly chemistry, is greatly influenced by pedagogical aspects and instructional strategies.

Abstract

Stunting remains a global health issue at present. One important factor in preventing stunting is adequate nutrition from early stages. However, access to accurate and timely nutritional information continues to be a challenge, especially in remote and rural areas. In response, this qualitative study aimed to analyze the use of Chatbots as a facility for accessing nutritional information in an ef fort to prevent stunting. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. It involves 40 mothers with toddlers actively participating in the local integrated health posts (posyandu) as research subjects, selected specifically using purposive sampling. The data obtained from this research will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research findings indicate that the current methods of delivering nutritional information, such as lectures and guidebook s, have limited impact in preventing stunting. Therefore, a chatbot emerges as a suitable medium for providing accessible nutritional information. This study contributes to addressing the global health issue of stunting and offers a potential technological solution to enhance access to nutritional information.

Abstract

The implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes in mathematics regarding the volume of rectangular prisms and cubes among fifth-grade students at Elementary School. This study employs the Classroom Action Research method in an elementary school in the Yogyakarta region.. This is evidenced by the increased learning outcomes of the students in mathematics during Cycle I, which was 83.3%, and Cycle II, which was 86.3%. In Cycle I, the average score of the students in the first meeting was 73, and in the second meeting, it was 72. In Cycle II, the score in the first meeting was 80, and in the second meeting, it increased to 91. Problem-based learning significantly enhances the learning outcomes in mathematics and mathematical communication skills of the fifth-grade students a Elementary School. The implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model is carried out through five steps. The application of the Problem-Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes and mathematical communication skills. This is evidenced by the observed improvement in the students' mathematical communication skills in each cycle. The average observation results in Cycle I were 75.84%, and in Cycle II, it increased to 86%.

Abstract

Developing critical skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is crucial for 21st-century education, and STEAM offers a contextual approach to address the lack of higher-order skills in current practice. This study aims to: (1) identify the need to develop a STEAM-based IPAS teaching module, (2) design a STEAM-based IPAS teaching module that suits the characteristics of elementary school students, and (3) produce an initial product of the teaching module that is validated by experts. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) model from Borg and Gall which is simplified into three stages by Sukmadinata, namely preliminary study, model development, and model testing. This article focuses on the preliminary study and initial product development of the module. Data were obtained through literature studies, interviews, observations and document analysis. The development results produced a STEAM-based IPAS module design which was then validated by material experts, media experts, and linguists. The validation results indicate that the module meets the feasibility for use in fifth-grade elementary school IPAS learning. The developed module is ready for use in a limited trial phase in further research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata Pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian literatur review dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan studi literatur terkait jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional yang sesuai dengan fokus penelitian. Penelitian ini menganalisis hasil pencarian berasal dari berbagai database, berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari beberapa artikel nasional maupun internasional dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di sekolah dasar dapat meningkat pada pembelajara IPA .  Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif mampu meningkat pada mata Pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of ecological literacy learning for students of elementary school. The research approach applied is mixed method. In this case, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by applying a descriptive qualitative interactive model approach by Miles and Huberman in which the steps are data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The results of research relating to students' knowledge and attitudes regarding ecological literacy show that the level of students' ecological literacy is lacking. If we look at the ecological literacy indicators, we get different averages, namely ecological knowledge of 8.71% (sufficient criteria), cognitive ability of 3.24% (poor criteria), environmental awareness attitude of 89.11% (good criteria), and environmentally responsible behavior of 75.33% (good criteria). Factors that influence students' implementation of ecological literacy learning are students' lack of knowledge and attitudes about ecological literacy. Students who have good ecological literacy will behave responsibly towards the environment through knowledge, skills and awareness of environmental problems so that ecological literacy plays a role in building character to care about the environment. Students' ecological literacy learning is carried out through several series of activities, namely providing space for students to improve their knowledge and attitudes about ecological literacy as well as real activities.

Abstract

Penguasaan konsep sains pada siswa sekolah dasar tidak hanya ditentukan oleh aspek kognitif, tetapi juga dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh kompetensi sosial-emosional, seperti regulasi diri, kesadaran emosi, dan keterampilan sosial. Kompetensi ini berperan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan, ketekunan, serta pemahaman konseptual siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi sosial-emosional terhadap penguasaan konsep sains melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pedoman PRISMA 2020. Data dikumpulkan dari Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, dan Google Scholar pada periode 2014–2025, menghasilkan 28 artikel yang dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial-emosional berpengaruh signifikan baik secara langsung melalui peningkatan motivasi, regulasi emosi, dan ketekunan, maupun tidak langsung melalui interaksi sosial, iklim kelas positif, dan keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri. Integrasi pembelajaran sosial-emosional dalam sains juga meningkatkan penalaran dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Dengan demikian, pengembangan kompetensi sosial-emosional menjadi landasan penting dalam pembelajaran sains dan perlu diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum serta strategi pembelajaran.
