Optimal employee performance is very important for the organization in achieving the goals that have been set. This study aims to evaluate the impact of compensation, job training, and job placement on employee performance at the North Labuhanbatu Regency Education Office. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 100 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that all variables had a significant effect on employee performance, with job placement having the greatest influence (coefficient 0.410), followed by compensation (0.325) and job training (0.289). The significance test showed that all three variables simultaneously had a positive impact, with an R² value of 67.8%. These findings suggest the need for good management of all three factors to improve employee performance and the quality of education.

The use of virtual reality (VR) technology in Islamic Religious Education learning in schools has become an interesting topic to improve students’ understanding of religious concepts. This study explores the impact of virtual reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage on students’ understanding of religious concepts and teachers’ perceptions. The research conducted used a case study design with a qualitative approach. The research setting was purposively selected at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Kota Bengkulu. The subjects in this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. The data in this study were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing in this study was carried out using the triangulation test method. Data analysis in this study adopted a descriptive approach involving several stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed: that first, there was a positive acceptance from students towards using Virtual Reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage, with many students feeling an enchanting and immersive experience. Second, VR plays a significant role in improving students’ understanding of religious concepts, especially in understanding the historical context and spiritual meaning of holy places. Third, Islamic religious education teachers have a positive perception of the use of VR in learning. The teachers see VR as a tool for increasing student engagement and expanding the learning experience.

Perkembangan perusahaan memerlukan manajemen sistem informasi yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja. Perusahaan kue A, yang mengalami peningkatan aktivitas operasional akibat ekspansi cabang, menghadapi tantangan besar terkait tingkat pengembalian kue, yang berdampak buruk pada kinerja finansial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi manajemen yang dapat mengurangi jumlah pengembalian kue dari cabang ke pusat dengan menerapkan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) pada sistem IPOS. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan penurunan yang signifikan dalam jumlah pengembalian selama tiga bulan setelah penerapan sistem. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen yang dirancang tidak hanya mengurangi pengembalian kue, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan kepuasan pelanggan.

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the results of the influence of the application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Direct Instruction (DI) model in improving mathematical creative thinking skills in the material of quadrilaterals and triangles of class VII students of SMPN 9 Kota Jambi. Using an experimental posttest only control research design, this study involved the population of all class VII students of SMPN 9 Kota Jambi in the 2023/2024 academic year totaling 204 students from 7 classes. Through the Random Sampling technique , three classes were selected as samples, namely VII A, VII B, and VII C. Data collection was carried out using two instruments: observation sheets for the implementation of learning and evaluation tests for mathematical creative thinking skills. To analyze the collected data, statistical analysis using One way Anova showed a significance value of 0.000 which was smaller than 0.005. These findings indicate different effects of the application of the three learning models - CPS, PBL, and DI - on improving mathematical creative thinking skills. Posttest data showed that the group of students who received learning with the CPS model achieved an average score of 16.94, while the PBL group obtained an average of 16.26. Both groups showed superior results compared to the group using the DI (Direct Instruction) learning model

Abstract: One of the main concerns of religious universities is the modernisation of education in terms of the quality of educational services. The transformation of the educational system with a focus on a competitive and high-quality output market necessitates strategic change management. This study aims to discover, characterize, and evaluate strategic management models in terms of quality. Presently, the Balanced Scorecard is considered to be an efficient quality measurement concept. This qualitative study employed comparative and interactive models design with both financial and non-monetary factors are being examined. The results demonstrated that the effectiveness of the Islamic Education program was preferable than that of its competitors (program). Furthermore, the Islamic Education Program is better compared to other undergraduate study programs in both financial and non-financial management. Abstrak: Salah satu problematika perguruan tinggi keagamaan adalah respon terhadap modernisasi pendidikan pada sektor mutu layanan pendidikan. Untuk itu diperlukan manajemen strategi terhadap perubahan adalah transformasi sistem pendidikan dengan orientasi pasar output yang kompetitif dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, mendeskripsikan dan menemukan model manajemen strategi dalam perspektif mutu. Saat ini metode Balanced Scorecard dinilai sebagai model pengukuran mutu yang efektif. Penelitian berjenis kualitatif metode studi kasus dengan model komparatif dan interaktif. Analisis dilakukan terhadap aspek keuangan dan non keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas pelaksanaan program prodi PAI berada pada posisi agresif (maju) dalam menghadapi para kompetitornya. Prodi PAI juga lebih baik dari aspek pengelolaan keuangan dan non-keuangan dibandingkan prodi lain di lingkungan IAIN Kerinci.

Ekosistem keuangan Indonesia semakin berkembang, terutama pada produk keuangan fintech yang digunakan oleh generasi milenial dalam mengadopsi layanan dan produk fintech, terutama jenis fintech yang dikenal dengan sistem P2P lending atau pinjaman online. Oleh karena itu, penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi fintech pada generasi milenial menjadi penting untuk diteliti. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh persepsi risiko, kepercayaan, literasi keuangan, persepsi kebermanfaatan dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan terhadap adopsi fintech dan moderasi keamanan transaksi, waktu luang, dan e-wom terhadap adopsi fintech. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kausalitas dengan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 responden dari generasi milenial. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survei online, data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi risiko, kepercayaan, literasi keuangan, persepsi kebermanfaatan, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan dapat mempengaruhi minat adopsi fintech, dan variabel moderasi keamanan transaksi, waktu luang, dan e-wom dapat memperkuat dan memperlemah hubungan terhadap adopsi fintech. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada tataran teori atau ilmu manajemen bisnis dan juga memberikan kontribusi penelitian untuk penggunaan produk fintech.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan dan pengembangan bisnis percetakan Rumah Grafika Pekalongan dalam perspektif etika bisnis Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dibagi menjadi dua, primer dan sekunder. Data primer digali dari wawancara dengan owner Rumah Grafika Pekalongan yakni bapak Masykur, sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari artikel, jurnal, tesis, buku yang masih terkait dengan topik penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data meliputi tiga kegiatan yakni reduksi data, pemaparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rumah Grafika Pekalongan dikelola dengan baik dan dikembangkan dengan mengikuti kebutuhan pasar. Penulis menganalisis pengelolaan Rumah Grafika Pekalongan ini dari segi pengelolaan perusahaan, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, dan pengelolaan pemasaran. Pengelolaan bisnis yang dijalankan secara umum sudah sesuai dengan prinsip etika bisnis Islam yakni kesatuan, keseimbangan, kehendak bebas, tanggung jawab dan kebenaran. Selain itu pemaparan pada artikel ini juga dilengkapi dengan analisis SWOT sebagai dasar untuk melihat bagaimana pengembangan bisnis percetakan yang terjadi.

This article discusses plagiarism behavior among students and university students. Islamic education must be able to provide enlightenment and additional insight to students so that they stay away from plagiarism. This research is a literature review that is reviewed in depth and comprehensively. The research method is in the form of literature review by putting forward the relevant theory. The results of this literature review research are in the form of a relationship between Islamic education and the prevention of plagiarizing behavior in online learning and student self-efficacy.

Classification of Physical Soil Condition for Plants using Nearest Neighbor Algorithm with Dimensionality Reduction of Color and Moisture Information Syauqy, Dahnial; Fitriyah, Hurriyatul; Anwar, Khairul

Determining the quality of soil is an important task to perform especially on newly opened agricultural land since it may provide significant impact on the growth of plants. One alternative to determine physical soil quality is by visually observe the color of the soil and measure its moisture. This paper designed an embedded system classify soil condition for plants according to the dimensionality reduction of color and moisture information from the soil using k-NN algorithm. The dimension of attribute information was reduced using correlation analysis to achieve lower computational time and lower memory usage on embedded system. In this study, 39 sample of soil from various location were collected and categorized by soil expert using visual observation. In the accuracy testing on the system that used 4 attributes, 100% accuracy was given by 60:40 ratio with 7 neighbors. In contrast, the system that used only 2 attributes, 100% accuracy was given by 60:40 ratio with 5 nearest neighbors. The resource usage testing shown that by using reduced attributes dimension, the resource usage can be lowered as many as 188 bytes on program storage and 192 bytes on global variable usage. Moreover, the average of computation time performed by the system using reduced attribute dimension achieved 5.4 ms compared to the system that used all attributes which achieved 6.2 ms.
