Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the managerial leadership of the Head of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer. The focus of the research is the managerial leadership of the PAUD Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer head of Rensing Village with the sub-focus of the research: (1) Leadership concept skills of Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer PAUD Rensing Village. (2) Human skills (human skills). The data analysis technique uses an interactive pattern of Miles and Huberman data. The results obtained are (1) the Head of PAUD Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer in Rensing Village already has the ability to analyze a problem or problem, already has the ability to think rationally in every action, has the ability to be expert and proficient in various kinds of conceptions, and the Head of PAUD Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer, Rensing Village, has carried out planned observations of management activities. (2) The head of PAUD Fajar Berkah Bagik Lonjer in Rensing Village in carrying out his duties has met expectations to understand the behavior of teachers and students, understand the hearts, attitudes, and motives of teachers and students, communicate clearly and effectively to teachers and students, and has as expected to create effective, cooperative, practical, and diplomatic cooperation.

Abstract

Basic competencies that teachers of Guidance and Counseling should have is the ability to use and to operationalize the Guidance and Counseling media. This capability is required because in her/his activities, a teachers of Guidance and Counseling should be able to design, to use, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of media in counseling and guidance services. Therefore it is required for the training of making Guidance and Counseling media to help teachers Guidance and Counseling in providing services to learners. Based on the results of the training of Guidance and Counseling media using Microsoft Power Point, 80% of teachers of Guidance and Counseling has been able to make a power point slide about preventing drug abuse through task independent. Through this training, teachers of Guidance and Counseling are expected to be more aware and understand that the needs of the times are getting changing and evolving, so that competence of technology and information should be improved also.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of farmer group performance on the development of rice commodities in the Planting Area Expansion Program with Pumping Scheme in Terara District. Descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches were used to achieve the objectives, with the location in Terara District, East Lombok Regency, which was selected purposively. Respondents were 75 farmers who were members of farmer groups actively participating in the PAT Program with Pumping Scheme for paddy rice commodities. Data were obtained using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using descriptive Likert scoring and multiple linear functions. The results showed that the performance components of farmer groups simultaneously influenced the development of rice commodities in the Planting Area Expansion Program with Pumping Scheme in Terara District. Partially, there were no components that had a significant effect, there were three components of independent variables that supported the PAT program, namely institutional variables (X1), economic (X2), social (X3), and there were two independent variables whose relationships were not in the same direction but had a significant effect, namely the accessibility variable (X4) and government policy (X5)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Everyone is a teacher here dalam model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelompok XI IA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar pada materi pokok Kesetimbangan Kimia. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah metode everyone is a teacher heredan tanpa metode everyone is a teacher here dalam model pembelajaran discovery learning. Variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok Kesetimbangan Kimia. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelompok XIIA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar yang terdiri dari lima kelompok. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan asumsi bahwa populasi bersifat homogen. Kelompok yang terpilih sebagai sampel yaitu kelompok XIIA5 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 32 peserta didik dan kelompok XIIA3 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang terdiri dari 28 peserta didik.Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar peserta didik yang terdiri atas 20 butir soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk kelompok eksperimen sebesar 77,19 sedangkan untuk kelompok kontrol sebesar 65,21. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t menghasilkan thitung> ttabel = 4,4725 > 1,6716 pada α = 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima berarti ada pengaruh metode everyone is a teacher here dalam model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelompok XI IA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar (studi pada materi pokok kesetimbangan kimia). ABSTRACT This research as a quasi-experimental that aimed to find out the effect ofeveryone is a teacher heremethod in discovery learning model toward the student’s learning achievement class XI IA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar on chemical equilibrium subject matter. The independent variable in this research is everyone is a teacher here method and without everyone is a teacher here method in discovery learning model. The dependent variable is student’s learning achievement on chemical equilibrium subject matter. The population of this research is the students of group XI IA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar that was consist of five group. The sampling technique was conducted randomly with the assumption that the population is homogeneous. The class chosen as the sample is group XI IA 5 as the experimental class consisting of 32 students and group XI IA 3 was the control class consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques obtained from the test results of student learning consisting of 20 items of multiple choice questions. Analysis data technique used descriptive and inferential analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the average value for experiment class is 77,19 while for control class is 65,21. Testing of hypothesis used t-test, produce tcalculate> ttable = 4,4725> 1,6716 on α =0,05. So was concluded that H0 rejected and H1 accepted which means that there was an effect of the everyone is a teacher heremethod in discovery learning model toward the student’s learning achievement group XI IA SMA Negeri 2 Makassar on chemical equilibrium subject matter.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran komik pada model discovery learning terhadap minat dan hasil belajar kimia pada materi pokok koloid. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMAN 13 Makassar diambil sebanyak dua kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling dan terpilih kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebanyak 36 peserta didik dan kelompok kontrol yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 35 peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari angket minat dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata minat dan hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t untuk pengujian minat belajar dan uji mann-whitney untuk pengujian hasil belajar. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik pada model discovery learning terhadap minat dan hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMAN 13 Makassar pada materi pokok koloid. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the types of political correctness used in The Jakarta Post’s news website. The design of the study was qualitative approach. The sample of this study was eleven news articles taken from March to May 2021. Political correctness categorizations were taken from the works of John (2017), Andary-Brophy (2015), and Monashnenko, Amelina, and Shynkaruk (2021). The finding was that The Jakarta Post used: eight PC-Liberalism and three PC-Authoritarianism types; two politeness, one accuracy, three academic, and five conformity variants; and seven euphemisms of discrimination, one euphemism of unpleasant reality, and three euphemisms of people’s lives. The data analysis result exhibited that The Jakarta Post mainly used political correctness for conformity, adhering to the practices of liberalism, and avoiding terms that may be discriminatory. The goal of the study was to provide a better understanding and description of political correctness as well as a model for English language education department students to do further comparable research.

Abstract

This study examines the role of zakat in empowering micro-enterprises in Pangkep Regency, focusing on effective management strategies to optimize its impact on economic development. The study aims to address two key questions: (1) How does Baznas Pangkep Regency, Indonesia, implement zakat management to support micro-enterprise empowerment? (2) How effective are the empowerment programs in enhancing the capacity and independence of the mustahik? This research employs a phenomenological approach using qualitative methods. The analytical framework is based on Henry Fayol's management theory and Marc A. Zimmerman's empowerment theory. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Baznas administrators and beneficiaries (mustahik), direct observation of program implementation, and document analysis of policies and activity reports from Baznas. The findings reveal that Baznas Pangkep Regency applies five management functions in zakat management: planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising. Planning is conducted through socialization and zakat fund mobilization strategies. Organizing involves implementing micro-enterprise empowerment programs through skills training and business capital distribution. Directing is done by assigning personnel according to their expertise to ensure program effectiveness. Coordination occurs through a transparent and participatory administrative system, while supervision includes internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Sharia principles and zakat fund accountability. The impact of the empowerment programs shows an increase in the income and business scale of the mustahik, contributing to their overall well-being. However, key challenges identified include the lack of continuous training and limited business mentoring. Based on Zimmerman's empowerment theory, the program has enhanced the mustahik's capacity to manage their businesses more independently. This study recommends that Baznas enhance program effectiveness by strengthening continuous training, business mentoring, and developing innovative zakat fund mobilization and distribution strategies to support the sustainability of micro-enterprise empowerment programs.

Abstract

Di dalam merancang kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) sangat erat hubungannya dengan perancangan roda gigi karena energi dari roda gigilah yang akan digunakan sebagai sumber KERS pada saat pengereman. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dimensi roda gigi planetary gear dan torsi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan putaran spring. Perancangan roda planetary gear dan torsi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan rotasi gaya pegas normal. Dalam perancangan roda planetary gear, jumlah gigi sun gear adalah 27 gigi, 50 carrier gear, dan 128 ring gear. Angka toleransi pada roda gigi planetary gear ini masih pada batas toleransi sehingga roda gigi planetary gear aman untuk dioperasikan. Kemudian torsi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan putaran spring sebesar 21,63 Nm2. Gaya tangensial yang terjadi berdasarkan putaran spring pada roda gigi pada beban 2,100 kg sebesar 19,358 N, tegangan lentur pada roda gigi sebesar 0,520911 Mpa, dan tegangan kontak roda gigi sebesar 15,986 Mpa. Besarnya tegangan yang terjadi pada roda gigi ? dari yield strength sebesar 254 Mpa, maka roda gigi cukup aman.

Abstract

The government is trying to maintain domestic food self-sufficiency by promoting field school programs to increase institutional empowerment of farmer groups to adopt technology in order to maintain land productivity and farming. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence farmers' responses to Farmer Field Schools (FFS)-Integrated Crop Management in the Batu Keliang Farmer Group. The research location was deliberately selected in the Batu Keliang Farmer Group, Pejaring Village, Sakra Barat District, East Lombok Regency because it participated in the SLPTT program. Respondents used a census technique involving all members of the population as respondents, totaling 25 people. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale and multiple linear functions. The conclusion of the study is that farmers' responses to the SLPTT rice field program in the Batu Farmer Group were simultaneously 65.9% influenced by all independent variables of age (X1), education (X2), land area (X3), rice farming experience (X4), number of family dependents (X5), and active participation in the program (X6). While the partial influence has two significant independent variables, namely education (X2) and number of family members (X5).

Abstract

One effort that can be done to improve soil fertility and crop yields is fertilization. Fertilization using a mixed source fertilizer (MSF) is an option to overcome the impact of inorganic fertilizer use and organic fertilizer drawbacks. This study aims to evaluate the effects of MSF application on the chemical properties of Inceptisol and rice yields. A field experiment was conducted using a completely randomized block design (RCBD) with two factors and three replications. The first factor was the three formulas of MSF (F1, F2, F3) and the second factor was MSF doses (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 Mg ha-1). The results show that there is no significant difference on the total soil N, available soil P, plant height and total number of tillers of rice plants applied with the three MSF formulas. The increased MSF doses applied significantly improve the soil chemical properties of Inceptisol and rice yields. The application of 10 Mg ha-1 MSF increases total- N (57.89%), available-P (29.13%), exchangeable-Ca and -Mg (117% and 250%, respectively), plant height (40%) and total number of tillers (43.2%) in comparison to those without MSF application. There are interaction effects between formulas and doses of MSF on the amount of exchangeable-K, organic-C content, and CEC of the soil and rice yields. The application of 10 Mg ha-1 MSF F3 results in better effects on the amount of exchangeable-K, organic-C content and CEC of the soil, and number of productive tillers and rice yields than the application of other MSF formulas. The MSF can be used as an alternatif fertilizer that can improve Inceptisol productivity.
