Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Konsistensi Konsepsi Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Interactive Lecture Demonstration Pada Materi Gelombang Mekanik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang konsistensi konsepsi siswa sebagai efek dari penerapan model Interactive Lecture Demonstration dalam materi gelombang mekanik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre experimental dengan one group posttest design. Dengan populasi kelas XII pada salah satu SMA di kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat. Sedangkan sampelnya yaitu satu kelas yang dipilih secara acak kelas dari  enam kelas yang ada  di sekolah tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian tes konsepsi yang berbentuk three-tier test serta lembar keterlaksanaan model Interactive Lecture Demonstration. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsistensi konsepsi siswa untuk konsep  faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi cepat rambat gelombang sebesar 0,48 dengan kategori tidak konsisten, konsep tentang periode gelombang berjalan sebesar 1,16 dengan kategori tidak konsisten, konsep frekuensi gelombang berjalan sebesar 0,84 dengan kategori tidak konsisten, konsep frekuensi pada gelombang stasioner sebesar 1,28 dengan kategori cukup konsisten dan konsep panjang gelombang pada gelombang stasioneri sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori tidak konsisten

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) hybrid learning on the higher order thinking skills (HOTS) of seventh grade students in global warming and their environmental care attitudes. The study was conducted using a quasi- experimental design. The participants of the study were 68 students, divided into two groups: one an experimental group (n=34) and the other a control group (n=34). HOTS test (15 multiple choices) and questionnaire (hands on activity) were designed to confirm the study’s validity and reliability. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The finding revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and the control group. The results of post-test data processing (One-Way ANOVA with =0.05) show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant effect of PBL hybrid learning on the higher order thinking skills of seventh grade students in global warming and their environmental care attitudes. The study is recommended to use in Indonesia’s education system after covid-19 pandemic end to increase education quality. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to get the description about the effect of virtual simulation media application on ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce ) learning model to remediate high school student’s misconception about Change of Matter. Virtual simulation media then used to visualize microscopies phenomena for Change of Matter in which it cannot be observed directly by the naked eye. Virtual simulation media was integrated on Resolve phase in order to remediating student’s misconception. Mix method qualitative-quantitative was used by involving 38 second-year students at one of Senior High School in West Bandung Regency with one-group pretest-posttest  design. The sample is determined by purposive sampling, with the criteria used as a sample are students who have misconception on the Change of matter. Misconceptions and changes in student conceptions are diagnosed using diagnostic tests of misconception of three-tier test. This research focuses on four misconceptions found in students labeled M1, M2, M3 and M4. The average quantity of students who misconception on pretest does not reach 50% in each misconception label, while the rest are scattered in other categories, such as 12 % Scientific knowledge, 26% Lack of knowledge, 9% Error, and 30% Guessing. After learning, 65 % students who have a scientific conceptions (scientific knowledges) with average increase of 60% in the medium category. Lack of knowledge 26% students with average decerease of 67%. In M1 misconception, 100% of students misconceptions are medicated, M2 are 82%, M3 are 100% and 87% in M4. The results showed that the percentage of students whose misconceptions remediated above 80% are in the High category so it can be concluded that virtual simulation media application on ECIRR learning model can remediate student’s misconceptions about Change of matter. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh pengaplikasian media simulasi virtual pada model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa SMA pada materi  Perubahan Wujud  Zat. Media simulasi virtual digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan fenomena perubahan wujud zat yang bersifat mikroskopis dan tidak dapat dilihat dengan pengamatan langsung. Media simulasi virtual diaplikasikan pada model pembelajaran ECIRR pada tahapan Resolve untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 38 orang siswa kelas 2 SMA di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan metode campuran kualitatif-kuantitatif dan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria yang dijadikan sebagai sampel adalah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi perubahan wujud zat. Miskonsepsi dan perubahan konsepsi siswa didiagnosa menggunakan tes diagnostik miskonsepsi three-tier test. Penelitian ini berfokus pada empat miskonsepsi yang ditemukan pada siswa yang diberi label M1, M2, M3 dan M4. Rata-rata kuantitas siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada pretest tidak mencapai rata-rata 50% di setiap label, sementara sisanya tersebar dalam kategori lain, seperti 12% Scientific knowledge, 26% Lack of knowledge, 9% Error, dan 30% Guessing. Setelah pembelajaran, siswa yang memiliki konsepsi ilmiah (Scientific knowledge) 65%, mengalami rata-rata peningkatan 60% pada kategori sedang. Siswa yang kurang memahami konsep (Lack of knowledge) 26% mengalami rata-rata penurunan sebesar 67%. Pada miskonsepsi M1, 100 % miskonsepsi siswa teremediasi, M2 sebanyak 82 %, M3 sebanyak 100% dan pada M4 sebanyak 87%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kuantitas siswa yang miskonsepsinya teremediasi di atas 80% berada pada kategori Tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi media simulasi virtual pada model pembelajaran ECIRR dapat meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of multimedia technology in physics learning based on the needs of the process and learning outcomes. This research is a literature review research. The research subjects consisted of ten journal articles selected from the Scopus Index database in the last five years. The results of data analysis show that learning physics with multimedia can stimulate students' learning abilities well. The trend of research development shows that the use of multimedia in physics learning in Indonesia is growing rapidly at this time. In addition, multimedia learning physics is more on the content of introduction to solid matter physics, earth and space science, multimedia learning physics, experimental physics, electricity, modern physics, introduction to core physics, and quantum physics. The conclusion obtained from this analysis is that the level of multimedia needs in physics learning in Indonesia is still very high

Abstract

Kualitas penulisan dan penyusunan disertasi menjadi gambaran kuat terhadap kemampuan akademik mahasiswa dalam merancang, melaksanakan, dan melaporkan hasil penelitiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas disertasi berdasarkan hasil review Komisi Pascasarjana UPI. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Subjek adalah seluruh mahasiswa program doktor (S3) Sekolah Pascasarjana UPI yang mengusulkan review disertasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling sehingga seluruh mahasiswa yang mengusulkan review disertasi saja yang akan dipilih menjadi subjek. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen Format Review Disertasi yang terdiri dari enam aspek dalam disertasi yang akan dinilai oleh para reviewer. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik kuantitatif dengan menggunakan t test dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 24 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil reviu terhadap kualitas disertasi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa reviu yang dilakukan oleh para reviewer memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kualitas disertasi.

Abstract

This study aims to construct and test the use of Video Supported Conceptual Change Text (VSCCText) to assist the conceptual change level of high school students in remedial teaching on boiling concepts. This research utilizes pre-experiment method with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the research were the students of class XI in one of the senior high schools in Bekasi regency. The levels of conceptual change reviewed include; level of scientific conception from the start, construction level, reconstruction level, static level, and disorientation level. The analysis conceptual change level has been described that the total subjects is 10% of students were at the scientific conception level from the beginning, 20% of students were at construction level, 55% of students were at reconstruction level, 15% of students were at static level and 0% of students were at disorientation level. If calculated from the number of students who initially experienced misconceptions and did not have a preliminary conception, then got the number 82% of students are in the type of conceptual change of construction and reconstruction. To sum up, the use of VSCCText has a high effectiveness in facilitating the achievement of conceptual change level of construction and reconstruction.

Abstract

Currently cognitive ability and creative thinking skills have been being warm issuesand they need to be developed to solve the problems regarding to the thermal problems. Thisresearch aims to facilitate the creative-collaborative problem solving to enhance cognitiveability and creative thinking skills. Fourths pre-service primary teachers have been involved into pre-experimental method with pre- and post-tests design (5 male and 12 female). Theinstruments about creative thinking skills and cognitive skills have already developed tomeasure the creativity and cognitive ability of students. The data show that the in-serviceprimary teachers have “high” about 76.47% for creative thinking skills and “moderate” level(33.33%) for cognitive ability as well. In conclusion, creative-collaborative problem solving isable to enhance effectively cognitive ability and creative thinking skills on thermal concepts(temperatures, heat transfer and matter change).

Abstract

This study aims to get a picture of the improvement of decision-making ability of high school students as the effect of using HOTV-Lab model in Physics practicum activities. The research method used is pre-experiment with design one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of research is 40 students in one of high school in West Bandung. The subjects were chosen by random sampling technique. Instruments used for data collection decision-making ability at the time before and after Physical practicum activities is a test of decision-making ability in the form of essay test. Increased decision-making ability of high school students was analyzed using the concept of normalized average gain scores, <g> formulated by Hake. The results showed that 78% of students had a high increase, 19% of students had moderate increase and 3% had a low increase in decision-making ability. This suggests that the use of the HOTVLab model in Physical practicum activities has a moderate effectiveness in facilitating improved decision-making capabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the alternative conceptions of high school students related to concepts in the subject matter of simple electric circuit. The concepts reviewed include the concept of electromotive force (emf), the concept of electric current and the concept of electrical resistance. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The number of research subjects was 36 students consisting of 20 female and 16 male, in one of the high schools in the West Bandung district of West Java province. Data were collected by conception test in the form of open essays test related to concepts in the subject matter of simple electric circuit. The results showed that the number of alternative conceptions that high school students had that emerged on each concept were: 1) There were three (3) alternative conceptions that emerged in the concept of electromotive force; 2) There are four (4) alternative conceptions that arise in the concept of electric current, and there are four (4) alternative conceptions on the concept of electrical resistance. These results indicate that the conception that high school students have in relation to concepts in the subject matter of a simple electric circuit still deviates from scientific conception and leads to misconception.

Abstract

Dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di sekolah peran guru pendidikan agama islam sangat penting. Dengan demikian Skripsi ini membahas tentang peran guru agama islam dalam peningkatan penididikan karakter. Kajian penelitian ini dilatar-belakangi oleh nilai sikap peserta didik kian menurun. Hal tersebut yang membawa peneliti mengadakan penelitian di salah satu sekolah SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon yang mana telah berupaya membentuk peserta didiknya berkarakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru pendidikan agama islam dalam peningkatan pendidikan karakter siswa SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon, serta mengetahui langkah-langkah dan dampak dari peran guru dalam peningkatan pendidikan karakter siswa di SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dalam mencari data yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: Pertama, SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon peningkatan pendidikan karakter siswa peran guru pendidikan agama islam menjadi peran penting didalam meningkatkan pendidikan karakter siswa SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon, Kedua langkah-langkah pembentukan karakter di SMK Cendekia selain peran guru agama islam juga ada program kegiatan pembentukan karakter. Ketiga, dampak dari peran guru dalam peningkatan pendidikan karakter di SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon mengalami perkembangan yang baik yang dapat dibuktikan anak-anak yang setelah selesai belajar di SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon selain mereka mendapatkan ilmu kejuruan dan juga dapat mencerminkan perilaku yang baik dan mampu membaca dan menghafal Al-Qur’an dengan baik. Peran guru pendidikan agama islam serta program dalam peningkatan pendidikan karakter di SMK Cendekia Kota Cirebon diharapkan dapat merubah penilaian sikap peserta didik dan peran guru pendidikan agama islam selalu dijadikan sebagai landasan dalam upaya pembentukan karakter peserta didik.
