Abstract

Objective: This study analyzes the implementation of Kaizen in building an industrial work culture in Vocational High Schools (SMK), across three dimensions: training, habituation, and the reward and punishment system. Methods: A qualitative multiple-case embedded design was employed at two purposively selected sites, namely SMKN 2 Surabaya which has implemented the T-TEP program since 2014 and SMKN 1 Mojokerto which has implemented the N-KGTS program since 2022. The research was conducted over five months, from October 2025 to February 2026. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model through first-cycle coding (initial coding) and second-cycle coding (pattern coding), followed by within-case and cross-case analyses. Results: Findings reveal that Kaizen training is sustained through multi-layered institutionalization covering formal legality, curricular integration, budget allocation, and industry-based instructor certification. Habituation builds student work character through three synergistic pillars of environmental engineering, formal institutional structures, and daily procedural routines that progressively shift internalization from compliance toward cultural ownership. A reward and punishment system grounded in a corrective-educative philosophy, reinforced through differentiated academic and industry recognition, sustains work culture consistency beyond momentary compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of digital library information systems in improving the accuracy of collection data in junior high schools through a qualitative case study approach. Collection data accuracy is a crucial aspect of library management that directly impacts service quality and learning effectiveness. The research was conducted over six months (August 2024 - January 2025) at a junior high school that had implemented a digital library information system for at least two years. Research informants consisted of 3 librarians, the principal, vice principal for curriculum, 5 subject teachers, and 10 students selected purposively. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with ATLAS.ti 9. Research findings show significant improvements in collection data accuracy after digital system implementation: bibliographic data accuracy increased from 68% to 94%, data duplication rates decreased from 23% to 3%, format inconsistencies reduced from 35% to 5%, and inventory time decreased from 14 days to 3 days. Automatic validation features detected 87% of data entry errors, while barcode and RFID technology improved the accuracy of circulation transaction recording to 98%. User satisfaction with collection information accuracy increased from 62% to 91%, with an 85% decrease in complaints. Findings indicate that implementation success was supported by librarian competence, school management support, continuous training programs, and an organizational culture that supports innovation. This research confirms the relevance of the DeLone & McLean Information Systems Success Model and Technology Acceptance Model in the Indonesian school library context, and provides practical implications for schools planning library digital transformation by emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach integrating technological aspects, human resources, and organizational support to realize effective and user-oriented library management.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the effectiveness of ECOVIAR (Ecosystem via Augmented Reality) learning media in improving elementary school students' Computational Thinking and scientific literacy skills on ecosystem material. Method: A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design was used in this study. A total of 60 fifth-grade students participating in the experimental class and the control class were used as the research sample. The experimental class was given treatment using ECOVIAR media, while the control class underwent conventional learning. Data were collected using a validated long-response test to measure Computational Thinking and scientific literacy. Data analysis was calculated using a normality test, a homogeneity test, and an independent sample t-test. Results: The findings indicated no significant difference in the initial abilities between the two groups (Sig. > 0.05). However, significant differences were found in the post-test results for both computational thinking (Sig. = 0.002 < 0.05) and scientific literacy (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). It is concluded that students taught using ECOVIAR media achieved significantly higher learning outcomes compared to those in the conventional learning group. Novelty: The development and utilization of Augmented Reality media in learning specifically designed for the ecosystem of learning materials with a focus on improving Computational Thinking and scientific literacy is a novelty in this study, because it is still rarely studied simultaneously in elementary school expansion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas multimedia interaktif berbasis Case Based Learning (CBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan penyusunan menu gizi seimbang siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Sumber data diperoleh dari database Google Scholar, Scopus, dan ERIC dengan rentang tahun 2016–2025. Hasil penelusuran awal diperoleh 320 artikel, kemudian melalui proses seleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi diperoleh 22 artikel yang dianalisis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mengelompokkan dan mensintesis temuan penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Sementara itu, Case Based Learning terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna. Dalam konteks pembelajaran gizi, pendekatan ini juga membantu siswa memahami konsep gizi seimbang serta menyusun menu makanan secara aplikatif. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif berbasis CBL dapat menjadi inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren, efektivitas, dan tantangan integrasi Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sumber data diperoleh dari artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2018–2025 melalui basis data Google Scholar, Scopus, dan jurnal nasional terindeks SINTA. Seleksi artikel dilakukan menggunakan metode PRISMA dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ketat, sehingga diperoleh 10 artikel yang dianalisis secara mendalam. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola, tren penggunaan platform, serta dampak implementasi PBL berbantuan LMS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform LMS seperti Edmodo, Chamilo, dan LMS berbasis e-modul paling banyak digunakan dalam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Integrasi PBL dan LMS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, literasi sains, serta keterampilan abad ke-21 lainnya seperti kolaborasi dan komunikasi. Namun demikian, implementasi masih menghadapi kendala berupa kesiapan guru, literasi digital siswa, dan keterbatasan infrastruktur. Dengan demikian, integrasi PBL berbantuan LMS memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains di era digital.
