Abstract

This community service project aims to improve the digital literacy abilities of early childhood education (ECE) teachers at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 5, with a focus on utilizing Canva to create engaging learning materials. The program was carried out in three phases: planning, execution, and assessment. The preparatory phase included a requirements assessment via focus group discussions (FGDs), which indicated that although teachers were acquainted with Canva, they need more training to proficiently employ its functionalities for educational content development. Based on the findings, a systematic training curriculum was created, and facilitators, including lecturers and university students, were chosen for facilitating the sessions. The implementation phase comprised a two-week training program that combined theoretical discourse with practical application. Teachers were acquainted with digital literacy principles and instructed in the development of interactive instructional materials with Canva. The training included solitary tasks, group activities, and peer evaluations to improve learning results. During the evaluation phase, the training's impact was analyzed via focus group discussions to identify the teachers' confidence and preparedness to include digital technologies into their instruction. The findings indicate that the curriculum considerably enhanced instructors' capacity to use Canva for instruction, emphasizing the significance of ongoing digital literacy training for educators. Through the use of technology, this program shows how focused professional development may equip educators with useful skills to improve early childhood teaching.

Abstract

Pengembangan fasilitas sisi udara di bandara sangat penting untuk memastikanoperasional yang aman, efisien, dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu fasilitas utama adalahjalan inspeksi yang berperan dalam pengawasan rutin, patroli keamanan, danpenanganan keadaan darurat. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai tanggapan terhadapkondisi jalan inspeksi sisi selatan Bandara Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin yangbelum memenuhi standar teknis perkerasan, sehingga dapat menggangguoperasional penerbangan dan menurunkan keselamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk merencanakan ketebalan perkerasan lentur jalan inspeksi dengan MetodeAnalisa Komponen tahun 1987, serta melakukan evaluasi menggunakan programKENPAVE. Proses dimulai dengan pengumpulan data lalu lintas kendaraanoperasional, data CBR, dan parameter material. Analisis dilakukan dalam dua tahap,yaitu perhitungan tebal perkerasan dan simulasi kinerja struktur perkerasan. Hasilmenunjukkan bahwa lapisan perkerasan terdiri dari permukaan 5 cm, pondasi atas20 cm, dan pondasi bawah 13,1 cm, mampu menahan beban rencana sebesar4.385.619,98 ESAL. Hasil simulasi KENPAVE menunjukkan regangan 0,000332KPa dan tegangan 0,0000644 KPa, masih dalam batas aman, serta umur layanansesuai rencana operasional.

Abstract

This study examines the development of research and literacy based madrasahs as a strategy for strengthening teachers’ scholarly publication practices and professional development within Islamic education. Employing a mixed methods design, the study was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Jember and involved teachers participating in structured training on research methodology, academic literacy, and scholarly publication, followed by sustained mentoring. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires measuring teachers’ research literacy and publication engagement, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews and document analysis of research outputs. The findings indicate that the integrated development of research literacy and academic literacy significantly enhanced teachers’ competence in designing research, writing academic manuscripts, and engaging in scholarly publication. Improved teacher capacity also had a positive impact on student research engagement, as reflected in the quality of student research proposals and achievement in national research competitions. Institutional support, particularly through the optimization of a madrasah based academic journal, played a crucial role in sustaining research culture and reducing barriers to publication. The study concludes that developing research and literacy based madrasahs offers a viable and contextually grounded model for enhancing teacher professionalism, strengthening research culture, and advancing the quality of Islamic education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan modul ajar matematika berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada materi perkalian aljabar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMP. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui dua tahap, yaitu workshop penyusunan modul ajar bersama guru matematika SMP Negeri 4 Pakem dan implementasi modul hasil pengembangan di kelas VII. Selama proses implementasi, tim pengabdian melakukan observasi dan pendampingan terhadap guru dan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul ajar berbasis HOTS mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menciptakan strategi penyelesaian masalah, serta menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu dan sikap reflektif terhadap proses belajar. Guru juga menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap konsep HOTS serta kemampuan dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan perangkat ajar inovatif yang mendukung peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa serta memperkuat kompetensi profesional guru dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how customer catisfaction is impacted by service security and quality with Wondr by BNI services among business administration students at the University of Lampung. Business development has experienced rapid growth. The method used was an integrative quantitative approach, with a sample of 293 respondents, business administration students who had used the Wondr by BNI application. Data collection was conducted utilizing a The Likert scale questionnaire and examined using multiple linear regression The study's conclusions show a significant and substantial impact on satisfaction with the application. Service quality influences usage, while security provides concrete verification of the commitment to protecting user privacy. Practically, this study provides managerial implications for BNI's marketing strategy to increase the loyalty of environmentally conscious consumers in emerging markets.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explore the culinary culture of Kolak Goblok as part of the culinary cultural heritage of Poncokusumo village, Malang Regency, East Java. Specifically, the study examines in more depth the history, manufacturing process, and cultural and social values ​​contained in Kolok Goblok. Kolok Goblok is a traditional culinary that has deep historical, cultural, and social values. A dish made from pumpkin steamed with grated coconut and brown sugar, is not just food, but has an important role in traditional rituals and community celebrations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Thirteen respondents were involved in the data collection process, including 3 Pokdarwis, 2 traditional institutions, 1 village official, 1 village head, 2 community leaders, 3 culinary preservationists, and 1 kolok goblok maker. The analysis method used in this study is descriptive analysis, which aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the existence and meaning of Kolok Goblok for the Poncokusumo community. The results of the study show that Kolok Goblok is not just a traditional food, but also a symbol of regional identity that represents local cultural values. This dish is part of a cultural expression that has been passed down from generation to generation and is still maintained today. In addition, Kolok Goblok has great potential in supporting culture-based tourism in Malang Regency

Abstract

This study aims to develop a picture story based learning media about the oral history of Bukit Kelam as an effort to increase students’ learning interest, literacy, and understanding of local history materials. This research is motivated by the limited availability of innovative learning media and the low level of students’ interest in history, especially oral history which is rarely published. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) model with the ADDIE stages, which include needs analysis, story and visual design, development of picture-story media, implementation, and evaluation. Validation by material experts and media experts shows that the developed media product falls into the category of “very feasible.” The trial conducted with students of SMA Negeri 1 Kayan Hulu received positive responses, where students considered the media product interesting, easy to understand, and helpful in visualizing historical events. The results of this study conclude that picture stories can be used as an alternative contextual history learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an integrated model for deep learning and cultural literacy in teaching regional songs at the junior high/senior high school level within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. Amidst the cultural literacy crisis and the dominance of global pop music that threatens the existence of regional songs among teenagers, a more meaningful and inclusive learning approach is needed. Using a qualitative, literature-based design, this study analyzed curriculum documents and literature on deep learning, cultural literacy, and SDG 4.7. The results show that regional songs are highly relevant to the Music Arts Learning Outcomes and the Global Diversity dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile. The developed integration model consists of four continuous stages: Contextual Exploration, Critical Appreciation, Reflection and Connection, and Creative Expression. The inclusive characteristic is the main uniqueness of this model, as the absence of demands for musical technical skills as prerequisites allows all students to actively participate. This model contributes to achieving SDG 4.7 targets by strengthening the appreciation of cultural diversity and strengthening the Global Diversity dimension in the Pancasila Student Profile. This research provides practical implications for teachers and curriculum developers in designing meaningful and inclusive regional song learning

Abstract

The role of traditional dancers as cultural agents significantly contributes to preserving the artistic identity of a region. However, in the face of rapid societal changes, the quality of performance artistry has undergone a significant transformation across generations. This article examines how the values of performance artistry have evolved, the challenges faced in preserving dance techniques and ethos, and the educational and cultural transmission strategies that can strengthen the quality of performance across generations. Using a qualitative approach through literature review and interviews with intergenerational artists, the study reveals that the transformation of performance artistry reflects a paradigm shift from mere technical inheritance to a more contextual actualization of cultural identity

Abstract

This article examines Gamelan Gambang as a medium for the development of community-based arts education, with a particular focus on the preservation of Bali’s local cultural values. Gamelan Gambang is a sacred gamelan ensemble traditionally performed in Balinese religious ceremonies, especially within the context of mortuary rites. Beyond its musical and ritual functions, the ensemble embodies philosophical, spiritual, and social values that are highly relevant for transformation into contextualized arts education practices. Through a community-based arts education approach, Gamelan Gambang may serve not only as an instrument for aesthetic learning but also as a vehicle for strengthening cultural identity and transmitting local wisdom. This article elaborates the theoretical framework of community-based arts education, outlines strategies for implementing tradition-oriented learning, and discusses both the challenges and opportunities involved in revitalizing Gamelan Gambang as an educational medium. The study recommends an integrative collaboration between formal educational institutions and local communities in developing participatory arts learning models that are rooted in local values while remaining adaptive to contemporary social transformations.
