Abstract

Critical minerals are an important natural resource that will continue to be necessary for modern industries. This study aims to determine the distribution of critical minerals based on geochemical data and magnetic susceptibility. Samples were taken from Lenggoksono beach, Southern Malang. The determination of chemical elements was conducted using X-ray fluorescence (XRF). Rare Earth Elements (REE) were identified using Inductively Coupled Plasma–Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). Magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out using a Barrington Magnetic Susceptibility Meter (MS2B). The results showed that the dominant elements were Silica Oxide, SiO2 (70 Wt%), Iron Oxide, Fe2O3 (14.05 Wt%), and Calcium Oxide CaO (5.57 Wt%), which were categorized as critical minerals. The average REE elements detected were Cerium, Ce (6.75 mg/kg), Gadolinium, Gd (5.98 mg/kg), Neodymium, Nd (13.56 mg/kg), Praseodymium, Pr (6.62 mg/kg), Terbium, Tb (5.57 mg/kg), and Yttrium, Y (10.98 mg/kg). The magnetic susceptibility ranges from 13.27 to 4143.47 × 10-8m3/kg. Pearson’s Correlation analysis revealed a significant correlation between low-frequency magnetic susceptibility (ꭓlf) and high-frequency magnetic susceptibility (ꭓhf) with a significance level of 0.01. ꭓlf and ꭓhf also showed a significant correlation with Gd, with a correlation value of R² = 0.84 and a significance level of 0.05. These results indicate that the presence of one critical mineral can serve as a clue to the presence of other critical minerals, and magnetic susceptibility can be used as a proxy indicator for critical minerals in natural materials.

Abstract

Abstract: MSMEs play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, including in Bontang City, East Kalimantan. In the digital era, the use of financial technology (Fintech), social media, and e-commerce has the potential to increase MSME income. However, the effectiveness of each technology in supporting MSME growth remains unclear, necessitating further research. This study aims to analyze the impact of Fintech, social media, and e-commerce on the income growth of MSMEs in Bontang City and to identify the challenges faced in adopting digital technology. A quantitative research approach was used, employing a survey method with 393 MSME respondents in Bontang City. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between Fintech, social media, e-commerce, and MSME income. The findings indicate that e-commerce has a positive and significant impact on MSME income growth. However, the use of Fintech and social media does not significantly contribute to increased MSME income. Although social media and Fintech are widely used by MSMEs, their effectiveness in boosting income remains limited. The primary barriers to digital technology adoption among MSMEs in Bontang City include low digital literacy, unequal access to technology, and a lack of understanding of effective digital marketing strategies. E-commerce has proven to be the most effective tool in increasing MSME income compared to Fintech and social media. Therefore, optimizing the use of Fintech and social media and improving digital literacy among MSME players are crucial. Government support in the form of training and digital infrastructure development is also necessary to accelerate MSME digital transformation in Bontang City.

Abstract

The impact of textile waste is a serious problem for health and the environment. Generation Z often chooses to throw away clothes rather than looking for ways to reuse them and not many are aware that these used items can be recycled into items that have benefits and economic value. Generation Z's lack of awareness of the dangers of textile waste and lack of education about upcycling methods are the main problems in this design. Therefore, it is necessary to design a campaign video that can widely reach Generation Z with the aim of making it easier to provide information about upcycling methods and providing awareness of the dangers of textile waste. The main aim of the design is to provide information about how important it is to use used clothing waste in the city of Palembang, to raise awareness and encourage that used clothing waste can be put to good use. Apart from being useful for protecting the environment, used clothing waste can also produce positive feedback from its use. Keywords : Textile waste, Upcycling, Clothing, Campaign Videos.

Abstract

To support the achievement of the quality of the nation's education through higher education, it should be in harmony and synergy with the activities of the Tri Dharma Lecturer. One of the program is international community service. This community service will be applied to the Indonesian worker community under the Indonesian Embassy, Malaysia. The demand for holistic education is increasingly urgent. The young generation, including Generation Alpha, must be equipped with knowledge, skills and strong values to face the increasingly complex challenges of the future. Anti-corruption education is an important aspect of the education process that is often overlooked or lacking in the formal curriculum. The Indonesian workers' community under the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia is a gathering place for Indonesian families living abroad, with a focus on education and youth development. Parents have a crucial role in shaping their children's education. However, they often need the right guidance and resources to support their children's development in these aspects. Given these conditions, there is a need to maximize the role of parents in anti-corruption education for the Alpha Generation within the Indonesian working community under the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia. By involving parents in the education process, we can create an environment that supports the full development of children's potential and help them become citizens of the country that have good responsibility and integrity.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, many changes have occurred in the way of human life. This requires humans to always adjust their lifestyles to technological developments. All buying and selling activities or transactions carried out using electronic media (internet) in the term e-commerce. The usefulness of information technology is to improve organizational performance, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of time, energy, costs, increase production, promotion and sales. Marketing carried out using internet technology is known as e-marketing. One of the leading products of MSMEs in Jambi Province is Batik. So far, the batik marketing strategy that relies heavily on capital accumulation, protection, and high technology has caused polarization and dualism in the distribution process of Batik in Jambi Province. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the marketing capacity of the creative batik industry through e-marketplaces by using them as a forum for interactive electronic business communities that provide a market where batik can be introduced nationally. E-Marketplace is an internet-based online media (web based) where business activities and transactions between buyers and sellers are carried out. Buyers can search for as many suppliers as possible with the desired criteria, so that they get according to market prices. Meanwhile, suppliers/sellers can find out companies that need their products/services. The approach used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, a systematic approach to designing/planning, designing, implementing and evaluating a system related to e-market place.
