Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaji faktor-faktor penumbuh UMK di masyarakat, dengan kasus UMK di wilayah Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor, khususnya UMK yang tergabung dalam Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga (posdaya). Jumlah responden 100 orang yang tergabung dalam 20 Posdaya, masing-masing 10 Posdaya di Kota Bogor dan 10 Posdaya di Kabupaten Bogor. Responden masing-masing Posdaya berjumlah 5 orang. Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Juni - September 2015. Pendekatan (metode) yang digunakan adalah metode sustainable business, yang terdiri dari aspek sosial (tingkat pendidikan, akses informasi, motivasi, pengalaman usaha, manfaat bagi lingkungan), aspek ekonomi (pemilikan asset/permodalan, akses pembiayaan, askses bahan baku/barang, pemupukan modal, jaringan usaha), dan aspek lingkungan (penanganan limbah, pemanfaatan libah, perijinan/legalitas usaha, penciptaan wirausaha baru), dengan metode analisis menggunakan metode skoring dengan bobot yang seragam untuk setiap aspek dan masing-masing variabel. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penumbuhan usaha dan bisnis masyarakat adalah faktor sosial, faktor ekonomi, dan faktor lingkungan. Sedangkan dominasi proses dan pola penumbuhan usaha dan bisnis masyarakat di Posdaya dipengaruhi oleh faktor warisan atau turunan. Selanjutnya penumbuhan UMK dipengaruhi oleh motivasi, pengalaman usaha, manfaat bagi masyarakat, pemilikan asset, akses sumber bahan baku, pemupukan modal, jaringan pemasaran, dan penciptaan wirausaha baru. Dalam rangka pengembangan UMK perlu dilakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan bagi pelaku usaha UMK dalam mengakses teknologi, informasi, pasar, dan pembiayaan. Diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi wirausaha di kalangan keluarga dan masyarakat melalui pendampingan, pelatihan dan pemagangan. Fasilitasi pemerintah daerah sangat diharapkan untuk melengkapi aspek perijinan/legalitas usaha dalam meningkatkan dayasaing UMK.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a serious issue nowadays. Several studies showed that male was more vulnerable to COVID-19 than female. Functional food consumption can be used to overcome COVID-19 since it boosts someone’s immune system and reduces the risk of contracting non-communicable diseases simultaneously. It is important to improve males’ functional food loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is lack of research on males’ functional food loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic. Given this, this research aims to test the effect of perceived threat of COVID-19, perceived benefit of functional food related to COVID-19, e-health literacy, digital health communication media usage, attitude toward functional food, functional food accessibility, and social influences-injunctive norm and descriptive norm–on males’ functional food loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study collected data through a survey. It involved 204 male respondents in Banten, Indonesia. This research found that males’ functional food loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic was significantly and positively affected by attitude toward functional food, injunctive norm, food accessibility and digital health communication usage. However, males’ functional food loyalty was not significantly affected by the perceived threat of COVID-19, perceived benefit of functional food related to COVID-19, descriptive norm and e-health literacy.

This research aims: 1) to analyze typology characteristic and conflict mapping in oil palm plantations; 2) to analyze the effectiveness of conflict resolution processes that have taken; 3) to formulate a conflict resolution strategy that is appropriate to the conflict type through collaborative approach base on potential resource and local knowledge. Primary data collected by interviews with local government officials, key figures, and village leaders. Secondary data obtained from village offices, BPS, texbooks, journals, or data from the internet that contains research results related. Data collection techniques used are a combination of the method of triangulation to obtain accurate data. The data collected and processed in a descriptive analysis of quantitative data supporting. Conflict analysis method used in this study is an analysis of the mission and vision conflict phenomena, analyzes aspects of change, stakeholders analysis, perception analysis, analysis of issues, interests analysis, strategy analysis, analysis of engagement, analysis of potential allies, risk analysis, action analysis, and valuation analysis. The results of this study indicate that the conflict in the Sosa, North Sumatera, has come to the level of "tension" or "crisis". Base on study, there are three main issues that people felt in the area around oil palm plantations, covering: issues of land, inadequate farming, the number of unemployment, as well as the limitations of basic facilities in some villages. Third problem is not handled correctly when very likely to trigger conflict, both between citizens and the business community as well as between fellow citizens of the community.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of fishermen in the tourism activities of the business and employment opportunities. This study also examines the relationship between the characteristics of the group members and group elements with the role of fishermen, where the research was conducted on a group cruise boat belonging to the Organization of Boat Cruise Pangandaran (OBCP) Pangandaran Village. On testing the characteristics of group members to the role of fishermen, there was a real relationship. In the test group elements with the role of fishermen, there was a real relationship unless the relationship norms/rules of the group with the group supporting service units were not real relationships. Finally, in testing the role of fishermen and businesses and employment opportunities, there was a real relationship, this was evidenced by the presence of several members of the group who has other business other than as a fisherman or a boat cruise as homestays, restaurants and stalls.Keywords: tourism, fishing groups, businesses or work

The objective of the research is to describe and analyze implementation and rate of adopted artificial insemination (AI) innovation on slaughter cattleâ€™s farmers. Specifically, the objectives are to describe (1) the characteristics of internal and external of slaughter cattleâ€™s farmers, (2) the implementation and the rate of AIâ€™s adoption, and (3) the relationship of internal and external characteristics of slaughter cattleâ€™s farmers and adoption of AI. The research is conducted at Kecamatan Geger Kabupaten Bangkalan and Kecamatan Mantup Kabupaten Lamongan in East Java Province and at Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan in Bali Province. This research is designed as a correlational descreptive survey. The number of sample is 240 respondents and using stratified random sampling method. Data collection is completed using questionnaires, interview and field observation. Structural equation modeling is applied to analyze the relationship and the influence pattern among variables. The average of AI implementation aspects by the farmers is 51.1% and the average of the rate of AI adoption is 2.39 years. The internal and external characteristic of slaughter cattleâ€™s farmer simultaneously are directly and positively influence the implementation of AI and the rate of AI adoption.Keywords: cattle breeding policy, perception, artificial insemination

This research aim was to formulate priority of strategy development the role of agriculture extension agent in Banten. To determine the priority of strategy development the role of agriculture extension agent used SWOT and AHP. Result of research indicated that the priority of development Strategy of role the agriculture extension agent in Banten were: (1) Improving the quality of human resouces of extension agent by diklat from other institution to get the ability, knowledge, and skill; (2) Improving of quality of counselling and cooperation with the relevant institution by the existence of fundamental duty clarity and function; (3) Product marketing competitive agriculture by maximizing role of group of farmer; (4) Optimalization of agriculture development with the guarantee of invitation regulation; and (5) Exploiting technology to support the agriculture extinsion program.Keywords: strategy, role, development, agriculture extension agent

The agricultural extension worker’s performance is the work outputs achieved by agricultural extension workers in conducting their jobs. The aim of this research is to know the factors which influence to the agricultural extension worker’s performance and the connection between the factors. Also, to know that factors influences the cacao farmers competence. The population of this research is all the agricultural extension workers in four district, South Sulawesi province (447 person). The sample of this research referred to Slovin method from among 106 (one hundred six) agricultural extension workers, 106 (one hundred six) group farmers leaders and 212 (two hundred twelve) cacao farmers . The design of this research was conducted by surveying and interviewing. LISREL program with ‘SEM’ was used in analyzing data. The Result of this research show that the agricultural extension worker’s performance was influenced significantly by characteristic, competence, motivation and self reliance. The total influence of them were 10 percent and 90 percent were represent other influences outside this study. The suggestion was that their performance must be improved by providing special training to improve their capability in agricultural extension planning, monitoring and evaluation, agricultural extension development and technology disemination.Key words: Performance, competencies, motivation

The general objective of the research is to describe and analyze implementation of adopted artificial insemination (AI) innovation on slaughter cattle’s farmers. Specifically, is to describe and analyze the perception of slaughter cattle’s farmers on AI in the three locations of research. Locations of the research are Kecamatan Geger Kabupaten Bangkalan and Kecamatan Mantup Kabupaten Lamongan in East Java Province and Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan in Bali Province. This research was designed as a correlation descriptive survey by both quantitative and qualitative approach. The number of sample is 240 respondents -who is the acceptors of AI- and by approach of stratified random sampling method. Data collection was completed with questionnaires, interview and field observation. Kruskal-Wallis Test and U Mann-Whitney Test were applied to analyze the data sample. The result of the research showed that the perception of the farmers on most of AI’s aspects are significantly different among locations of the research, with the exception of the phenotipe (physical appearance) of breed cattle and the artificial insemination services by inseminators. To be suggested that socialization or extension on AI should be conducted by different approaches to fit the characteristic of internal and external and AI’s perception of the farmers.Keywords: Perception, artificial insemination

This research aim are: (1) To study perception of agriculture extension agent about their role in agriculture activity in Banten, ( 2) To explain of factors which have correlation with the perception of agriculture extension agents about their roles in agriculture extension activity in Banten, (3) To analysing degree of factors which have correlation with the perception of agriculture extension agents about their roles in agriculture extension activity in Banten. Research was designed with the method survey the deskriptive-korelasional. Analyse the data used the descriptive statistic and statistical analysis inferensial. For the statistic of descriptive use the frequency, percentage, mean score, total mean score and tabulation traverse, analysis of statistic inferensial used to see the relation the dependen variable with the independen variable by rank Spearman. Factors which correlate with the perception are (1) characteristic of extension agent consisted by the age, formal education, and experience; (2) physical Environment consisted by the institute, mean the work, construction and supervise, and career development; (3) social economics environment: Environment of work, partner opportunity, and access to economic resources; and (4) Motivation: achievement motivation, affiliate motivation, and power motivation.Key word: Perception, Role, agriculture extension agent

The teacher is a strategic factor in the learning process. For that teachers must have good skills, especially the ability to communicate, because the whole learning process is closely related to communication. But the reality has not been able to optimize the ability of the teacher to the students of boys and girls. This study aims to develop the communication behavior of a gender responsive teachers. The study was designed as ekplanatory survey research conducted by two hundred the number of respondents using Taro Yamane formula. This research was conducted in the city of Padang and Padang Pariaman since June-December 2013. Results showed that the strategy of development of gender responsive teacher communication behaviors through strengthening the internal and external factors.Keywords: teacher, strategies, gender responsive, learning process
