Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia holds immense potential for bolstering national income and fostering economic growth. Agrotourism, an emerging sector, intertwines tourism activities with agriculture, exemplified by the guava crystal orchads in Padang Village, Bojonegoro Regency. Despite its promise, the full potential of this agrotourism destination remains untapped. A mixed-method approach was employed in a study to assess its sustainability comprehensively. Quantitative data was initially collected and analyzed using multidimensional scaling (MDS), followed by SWOT analysis. Findings indicate that while the ecological dimension demonstrates strong sustainability, other aspects such as the economy exhibit room for improvement. Consequently, various sustainability formulation strategies are proposed. The S-O strategy advocates collaboration with external stakeholders under favorable terms, while the W-O strategy emphasizes heightened promotional efforts and collaborative ventures to enhance human resource quality. Moreover, the S-T strategy entails intensifying promotional activities to counter competitors, whereas the W-T strategy focuses on enhancing accessibility, diversifying product offerings, and fostering collaborations to tackle challenges effectively. Implementation of these strategies is anticipated to furnish managers and policymakers with a pragmatic framework to enhance the sustainability. In essence, stakeholders can propel the crystal guava orchard agrotourism towards greater sustainability, thereby contributing significantly to the economic advancement of the region.JEL Classification A14; Q26; Z30To cite this article: Hartono, R. Abstract

As an effort to create innovation in the world of radiography, it is necessary to develop technology in software. This effort is to improve image quality by using pyramidal decomposition. This digital image decomposition is referred to as pyramid decomposition. The original image is decomposed into several frequency bands, repeatedly divided into high-pass components and low-pass components. The high-pass component is set aside while the low-pass image is subjected to subsequent division. This creates a kind of "3D" stack of image layers. Each layer is at a lower frequency and therefore fuzzier. This processing was pioneered by Philips Healthcare as UNIK (Unified Image Quality Enhancement), and by Agfa as MUSICA (Multi-Scale Image Contrast Amplification) with various innovations. The test image uses digital radiography images resulting from innovation from 14bit RAW digital conversion into JPG format. Image quality is calculated using Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR). The pyramidal decomposition application succeeded in improving the quality of digital radiography images with an average MSE reduction value of 0.018 and an average PSNR increase of 22.114 dB. Visually, there is a constant increase in contrast and detail, so it can be applied in the medical field.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how much influence Succession Planning has on Organizational Sustainability through the role of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience using the SEM-PLS method. This research uses quantitative methods to analyze the influence of Succession Planning on Organizational Sustainability through the roles of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience. The research used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Primary research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 119 respondents from a total population of 170 employees. The questionnaire contains structured questions that include the variables studied and filled in by respondents online or offline. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive methods using an SEM PLS. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed and explained statistically by testing the data using SmartPLS 4.0. Based on the results of descriptive analysis and testing through SmartPLS 4.0, it was found that organizational sustainability can be influenced by learning agility and resilience through the mediation of transformational leadership and succession planning. There is a significant relationship between learning agility and resilience variables mediated by transformational leadership and succession planning on organizational sustainability. However, the research results also show that transformational leadership does not have a statistically significant relationship with organizational sustainability, but there is a very significant relationship between transformational leadership and succession planning. The research results are used to establish recommendations to the management of PT XYZ in maintaining the sustainability of the organization and further research.

Abstract

Among all the six pillars of faith, faith in angels has its own uniqueness, because it is able to invite debate among Muslim scholars, both in terms of substance and existence. Abduh’s interpretation has its own uniqueness because he attempts to carry out a reconstruction related to the concept of angels. This research will further explore the concept of angels in Abduh’s interpretation as well as look at its consequences for aspects of faith. This research is a library research using descriptive-analytical method. The approach used is hermeneutical. In this study, the primary source used was Muhammad Abduh’s interpretation of QS. al-Baqarah: 30-34 written in Tafsir al-Manar. The results of the study show that according to Abduh, the significance of discussing the nature of angels is the wisdom behind the dialogue between God and the angels in the creation of Adam. He interprets angels more as a natural potential (al-quwa al-tabi’iyyah) rather than a person or creature made of light. If angels are interpreted as natural potentials and laws, then this means that humans are given the ability to empower these potentials, as symbolized by the angels’ prostration to Adam. The consequence of this interpretation of the aspect of faith in angels is maximizing the synergy between humans and their natural potential

Abstract

Increasing tourist activities in Batu City makes agricultural land conversion unavoidable. This research aims to determining the lost economic value of food commodities due to converted agricultural land area and labor shift. The conversion area of agricultural land in all areas can be identified through Landsat image 8 ETM+ in 2017 and 2021. An overlay analysis using ArcGIS 10.2 software with 7 variables was then utilized to determine land capability and land suitability. Then, it was combined with the survey results of 334 land price points to determine the distribution of agricultural land prices in Batu City by using Kriging interpolation analysis. The results of the research show that the agricultural land area has decreased in the past 4 years by 169.96 Ha, with a lost economic value of approximately 5 billion Indonesian rupiah. The agricultural land price in Batu City is divided into 4 classifications. The results indicate that the agricultural land price is high, so it accelerates the agricultural land conversion. Therefore, the government should pay close attention to land conversion.

Abstract

The special autonomy funds are one of the main characters in the fiscal decentralization of Papua. Papua with many problems in macroeconomics, as the key for the central government to allocate the special autonomy funds (SAF) since 2002. In law No. 21 of 2001 on special autonomy for Papua Province, states that the last year of special autonomy is 2022. Unfortunately, there is a new law that states the last year of special autonomy funds is 2041, based on the Law no. 2 of 2021. The extension of the time refers to the condition of Papua, (i) education sector; (ii) health sector; (iii) economy sector; (iv) infrastructure; and (v) good governance component. Nowadays, there are previous studies discussing the effect of the SAF on economic indicators. However, the lack of research about the factor analysis that influences central government allocate the special autonomy funds based on the financial performances in Papua. The aim of this research is to analyze the financial performance components on the opportunity to receive special autonomy funds. The analysis used the panel regression with the 28 cross sections and 20 time series. Furthermore, this study finds out the last year of the special autonomy funds, so it can help the central government to take the policies to allocate the special autonomy funds for Papua.
