Curriculum changes and developments occur along with the development of educational theory and technological developments. These changes aim to improve the quality of education of Indonesia's human resources. The 2013 curriculum emphasizes the learning process using a scientific approach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum in the implementation of history learning. The type of research used was a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Babat Toman Musi Banyuasin. In this study, data were collected using observation, interviews, and document study method. Descriptive data analysis was used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of history learning in 2013 curriculum that uses a scientific approach through the Student-Centered Learning model and authentic assessment with 5 M (observing, asking questions, collecting data, associating, communicating) maximize learning by following the 2013 curriculum development. This study as a reference material to maximize other subject in accordance with 2013 curriculum development.

Learning outcomes have an important role in the learning process. This is because learning outcomes can be used as a benchmark to determine the extent to which students experience changes after receiving their learning experiences, are observed and measured in the form of knowledge, attitudes and skills. This study aims to analyze teaching skills and teacher learning interest towards historical learning outcomes. The research method used in this research is ex post fact, which means after the fact, by taking survey data. The population and sample in this study were high school students. In the data description analysis stage, the writer describes the problems related to student learning outcomes and the observation data of teacher teaching skills in the learning process. The correlation stage consists of the following steps: analysis prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. Based on the data analysis, the regression equation Y = 44.533 + 0.506 x was obtained, meaning that each addition of the teacher's teaching skills variable by one unit, the student learning outcomes variable increased by 0.506 units. So, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between teacher teaching skills and student learning outcomes.

Effect of Coated Urea with Humic-Calcium on Transformation of Nitrogen in Coastal Sandy Soil: A Soil Column Method (Sulakhudin, A Syukur, D Shiddieq and T Yuwono): In coastal sandy soil, mainly nitrogen losses due to leaching resulted to low fertilizer efficiency. Slow-release N fertilizers are proposed to minimize these losses, and humic-calcium coated urea has been examined. A soil column method was used to compare the effects of coated urea with humic-calcium on transformation and leaching loss of N in coastal sandy soil. The experiment aid to compare two kind source humic substances (cow manure and peat) which mixed with calcium as coated urea on transformation, vertical distribution and leaching N in coastal sandy soil. The concentration of humic-calcium coated urea i.e.1%, 5% and 10% based on their weight. The results showed that urea coated with humic-calcium from cow manure (UCHM) and humic-calcium from peat (UCHP) increased the N total and available N in the soil and decreased leaching loss of N from the soil column. Compare to UCHP, UCHM in all concentration showed N-nitrate higher than N-ammonium on incubation length 2, 4 and 6 weeks. The N leached from a costal sandy soil with application coated urea with UCHM ranged from 21.18% to 23.72% of the total N added as fertilizer, for coated urea with UCHP they ranged between 21.44% and 23.25%, whereas for urea (control) reach 29.48%. Leaching losses of mineral N were lower when urea coated with UCHM compared to urea coated with UCHP or urea fertilizer.  The study concluded that the UCHM is better than UCHP in decreasing N leached from coastal sandy soil.

Enhancing Early Childhood Ability to Know the Concept of Numbers through Using of Learning Media Based on Nature. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of children to understand the concept of numbers through using of learning media based on nature. The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research with data collection techniques in the form of observations and performance and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle the percentage of student performance achieved 30% of the percentage before use the cycle, in this cycle students who managed to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria drove 11 people who had not succeeded in achieving a large of minimum completeness criteria students could participate in learning activities well and encourage very active when using media. So the research continued the second cycle in cycle II, the percentage reached 45% and all students who succeeded in reaching 20 people managed to reach the minimum completeness criteria while the observations showed that students were very interested in learning to use the prepared media. From the results of the implementation of the first cycle and the second cycle the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness reached 75% of the percentage before cycle use. Thus, it can be denied that the learning media based on nature can improve the ability of children to understand the concept of numbers to support learning activities in early childhood can use media that are either natural media or media that have been supportive in order to produce learning that is conducive to children's abilities.

The aim of this research is to improve the communication skills of children through the method of pictorial stories applied to group B ECD Gemilang in the District of Maulafa, Kota Kupang. This is a type of Classroom Action Research that consists of four stages in each cycle, they are: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The main focus of this research is to improve children's skills and ability to communicate through this pictorial story method. Nineteen children have been included in this study and the data has been collected through observation and tests. The results show that the average score of pre-cycle is 37.57%, the one of the first cycle is 57.89% and 100% is the average score achieved in the second cycle. Looking at these results, it can be stated that using pictorial stories in a learning process can improve children’s communication skills and ability.

Based on 1945 Basic Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia section 34th said "poor and neglected children maintained by the nation". Non-formal education as one of the pathways of education in Indonesia has the same role in educating the children of the nation, one of which is the presence of learning in an orphanage. Education in orphanages are not only how caregivers transferring of knowledge but broader than that relating to the values and skills for children residents. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study strategy. Results of the research are: (1) the caregiver role as substitute parents for children orphanage, (2) in shaping attitudes socio emotional orphanage children caregivers use by the way continues in the sense always give advice in a way that is not too hard, but can be received by children, and (3) the constraints in shaping children's socio emotional attitude is when they adapted to the new environment and adjust the schedule in the orphanage. In conclusion caregiver role in shaping attitudes socio emotional orphanage has been very good.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan mengenalkan pada siswa tentang konsep diri dengan cara mengenalkan nama-nama anggota tubuh manusia menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI. Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan disain model Kurt Lewin merupakan metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Sebanyak 14 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian, data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan tes hasil belajar berupa mencocokkan gambar. Penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai prasiklus sebesar 55%, nilai siklus pertama adalah 64,64%, nilai siklus kedua sebesar 82,85 dan nilai siklus ketiga adalah 91,07%. Mengacu pada hasil penelitian ini, kesimpulan yang dapat diambiladalah model pembelajaran SAVI dengan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak mengenai nama-nama anggota tubuh manusia di PAUD Munatuan.

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of the management of independent learning methods for learning residents of the Kejar Paket C equivalence program at PKBM Bintang Flobamora Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research subjects which consisted of 2 tutors and 4 study residents. Data was collected using observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Analysis of research data was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In addition, this study also uses triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The results showed that the learning community was not fully involved in the learning planning stage and the learning objectives were still focused on developing knowledge competencies. The implementation of the independent learning method is also still not fully successful because the learning community still has a wrong understanding of the true meaning of independent learning. The evaluation in the form of a post test that was carried out turned out to be only able to measure the development of cognitive aspects and had not touched other developmental aspects as well as the obstacles faced during the independent learning process in order to improve towards better development.

Salah satu kajian Pendidikan Luar Sekolah adalah Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dimana pendidikan ini bertujuan untuk membimbing dan mendampingi perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh sehingga mampu tumbuh secara optimal. Pendidik di lembaga PAUD harus memperhatikan kualitas pendidikan yang dirancang agar diperoleh layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan akuntabel. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah perbedaan persepsi serta ketakutan lembaga PAUD dalam menghadapi akreditasi lembaga PAUD. Tujuan dan tolak ukur keberhasilan kegiatan ini adalah lembaga PAUD mampu memenuhi standar-standar pengelolaan PAUD dan persiapan menghadapai akreditasi serta lembaga PAUD mampu menyiapkan dokumen-dokumen yang diperlukan untuk kepentingan akreditasi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi lalu ditutup dengan demonstrasi mengunggah dokumen ke Sistem Penilaian Akreditasi (SISPENA). Indikator tersebut berhasil dicapai karena kegiatan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi lembaga PAUD yang ada di Kecamatan Nekamese dalam memenuhi standar-standar pengelolaan PAUD dan persiapan menghadapai akreditasi serta sekaligus menyiapkan dokumen-dokumen yang diperlukan untuk kepentingan kegiatan akreditasi.

Tujuan penelitain ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil kompetensi tutor paket C. Secara khusus tujuan kajian ini untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi tentang: (1) Tingkat kualifikasi Pendidikan Tutor Program Paket C pada saat ini dan (2) Profil kompetensi pedagogik dan andragogik tutor pendidikan kesetaraan pada saat ini. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 41 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1). Persentase tertinggi kualifikasi tutor adalah kualifikasi S1 (92.7%). Kualifikasi tersebut umumnya adalah dari program S1 Pendidikan. Urutan kedua adalah kualifikasi SMA (4.9%), dan kualifikasi S2 (2.4%) Hal in menunjukkan sebagian besar tutor kualifikasinya sudah qualified dan hanya keahlian mengajarnya yang masih mismatch. (2). Profil kompetensi pedagogik dan andragogik tutor paket C rata-rata masih 53,9%. Kompetensi tutor diketahui berdasarkan pemahaman dan persepsi tutor terhadap setiap instrument penelitian. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar tutor kualifikasinya sudah qualified akan tetapi keahlian mengajarnya masih miss-match dan profil kompetensi pedagogik, andragogik tutor paket C berada pada posisi baik (53.9%) Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, tutor paket C, PNF-SKB
