Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh problem based learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, (2) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di kelas X TKJ 1 sebanyak 35 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan peserta didik di kelas X TKJ 2 sebanyak 34 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji regresi sederhana dan independent sample t test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan : (1) Hasil uji regresi sederhana yang menunjukkan nilai t-hitung lebih besar dibandingkan t-tabel dengan nilai sig lebih kecil daripada 0.05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh model problema based learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, (2) Hasil uji independent simple t test yang menunjukkan nilai t-hitung lebih besar dibandingkan t-tabel dengan nilai sig lebih kecil daripada 0.05 yang berarti keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan secara signifikan dengan peserta didik kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Identifikasi Pemahaman Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Evaluasi Model Peta Konsep Mata Pelajaran Kelistrikan Otomotif Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dalam bentuk deskriptif yang melibatkan variabel tunggal, yaitu pemahaman yang diidentifikasi dengan cara evaluasi model peta konsep. populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa pada tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 sebanyak 120 siswa yang tersebar pada 3 kelas. Sampel yang dipilih secara acak sebanyak 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui dua cara : Nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi multiple choice sebagai data pembanding dan nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi model peta konsep. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif inferential, Selanjutnya data tersebut dideskriptifkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman kelistrikan otomotif siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu kabupaten gowa yang diidentifikasi dengan evaluasi multiple choice oleh guru bidang studi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase skor ≥ 43,33% sedangkan identifikasi pemahaman siswa oleh peneliti menggunakan evaluasi model peta konsep berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase skor ≤ 30,00% dengan siswa yang sama. Melihat hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi model peta konsep lebih ideal digunakan dalam mengevaluasi pemahaman konsep siswa karena gambaran pemahaman siswa terlihat pada diagram pemetaan konsep

Abstract

In learning activities, common issues such as time-consuming and manipulation-prone attendance processes, as well as subjective and inconsistent essay grading, often arise. This study aims to develop PressAI, an AI-based application that automates attendance using QR code technology and provides objective essay grading powered by the OpenAI API. The application was developed using the Agile methodology integrated within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework, through iterative stages including planning, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results demonstrate that PressAI enables instant and accurate attendance recording via QR scanning, provides a seamless login experience without repeated authentication, and delivers fast and objective essay assessments. With its features, PressAI is expected to enhance efficiency and transparency in the learning process while offering opportunities for further innovative feature development.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of pre-service mathematics teachers’ continuous intention to use GeoGebra by integrating key constructs from educational technology acceptance and pedagogical knowledge frameworks. Employing a quantitative correlational design, data were obtained from 209 pre-service teachers through a validated questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research examined the direct effects of Self-Confidence in Mathematics (SCM), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Perceived Social Pressure (PSP), and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) on Continuous Intention to Use GeoGebra (CIUG). The results revealed that SCM, PSP, and TPACK significantly influence CIUG, whereas FC did not show a significant effect. These findings underscore the importance of psychological and pedagogical readiness over infrastructural support in predicting sustained technology use. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the integration of internal and external factors within a unified model and suggests that teacher education programs should focus on enhancing self-efficacy, social engagement, and TPACK to support technology integration. Future research is encouraged to explore contextual and longitudinal aspects to expand the applicability of these findings across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

The emergence of ChatGPT has fundamentally reshaped programming education while raising concerns about student over-reliance and weakened independent problem-solving. This research examines how students' attitudes toward ChatGPT including perceived utility (PU), accessibility (PEOU), capability (PC), and self-directedness (PA) influence their problem-resolution skills (PSA). The study integrates Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with Self-Determination Theory (SDT) frameworks. Using quantitative methodology, data from 165 Informatics Education students at Universitas Negeri Makassar underwent PLS-SEM analysis. Measurement reliability was confirmed (factor loadings exceeded 0.733, AVE surpassed 0.50, CR topped 0.896, HTMT below 0.90). The structural model accounted for 70.2% variance in problem-solving capability (R² = 0.702). Three hypotheses received support: accessibility positively influenced problem-solving (β = 0.377, p < 0.001, f² = 0.138), capability showed positive effects (β = 0.334, p = 0.001, f² = 0.121), and self-directedness contributed positively (β = 0.218, p = 0.030, f² = 0.052). However, perceived utility showed no meaningful association (β = -0.017, p = 0.443). Results reveal cognitive achievement relies more on system accessibility and psychological need satisfaction than perceived utility, contradicting traditional TAM assumptions. Pedagogically, instructors should position ChatGPT as an intellectual companion enhancing critical thinking and independence rather than creating dependency. Study limitations include cross-sectional design, self-report measures, and single-institution sampling. Future research should employ longitudinal designs with objective assessments while controlling confounding variables.

Abstract

Technological advancement, today's technical sophistication makes everything easier. The internet is a component of today's technological sophistication. The purpose of this research is to develop a digital magazine system that will facilitate information assistance and the ability to provide information directly through the digital magazine website and play a role in increasing student reading and digital literacy. The development method used in this DMICS design is the agile method. The population used in this study were 48 students and lecturers in Makassar. Data obtained by data collection techniques in the form of literature study and online questionnaire distribution. The designed system is tested using Blackbox Testing to test the function of its features. The results of the study can be concluded that the Digital Mading Information & Communication System (DMICS) can be used as an information container for users. This is indicated from the results of the analysis of each construct has an average value of a good category where each construct of Behavioural Intention to Use (BI), Perceived Enjoyment (PE), Information Quality (IQ), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and System Quality (SQ) obtained a value range of 3.17-3.25. This shows that there is a relationship or influence from the dependent variable, namely, Behavioural intention to use (X1), Perceived enjoyment (X2), Information quality (X3), Perceived usefulness (X4), and System quality (X5) on the independent variable construct, namely actual usage behaviour (Y). Thus, the design of a digital mading information system or Digital Mading Information & Communication System (DMICS) is proven to be good for potential users as a forum for increasing digital literacy.

Abstract

The development of the Doe'ku application aims to provide an effective digital solution for managing personal finances. The application is designed to improve users' financial literacy through various features, such as transaction records, budget setting, savings plans, and scheduled transactions. This study utilizes the prototype model software development method, which allows for continuous interaction between developers and users during the application creation process. The results show that the Doe'ku application can assist users in effectively monitoring and managing their finances. User evaluations showed that the application provides an optimal user experience with an intuitive and responsive interface. In addition, the application is designed to be accessible and easy to operate, meeting both the functional and nonfunctional needs of users. As such, the Doe'ku application is expected to contribute significantly to improving users' financial literacy and personal financial management capabilities.

Abstract

In the 21st century digital era, advances in technology and information have developed rapidly, one of which is cloud computing. This study aims to design a cloud-based task management application called TaskIfy using firebase technology and agile methods. TaskIfy was designed to help users manage their time and daily activities more effectively. The Agile method was used in two sprint cycles to ensure iterative development and responsiveness to user feedback. The main features implemented include authentication, task management, search, and calendars. Black box testing was conducted to ensure the functionality of the application. The results showed that TaskIfy successfully improved user efficiency and productivity in managing schedules and completing tasks. However, some additional features have not been developed, such as better calendar integration and collaboration features. Future research can focus on developing these features to optimize the user experience. The main contribution of this research is the implementation of TaskIfy as a practical tool for effective time management, combining cloud computing technology and agile methodology to improve efficiency in everyday life.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has made significant contributions in various sectors, including education. Mobile applications have become an effective solution in improving time management and reducing academic procrastination among students. This research aims to design and develop a mobile application called StudySync that utilizes SQLite database to assist students in organizing their academic activities. The development method used is the Agile method with three sprint cycles, ensuring incremental improvements and continuous validation of features. The application offers task management features, note-taking, reminders, and a search system to facilitate the management of academic information. SQLite was chosen as the main database due to its self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, and transactional nature, suitable for mobile applications that require fast and reliable database access. The test results show that the StudySync application successfully meets the needs of users in organizing academic assignments and notes and improving student time management.

Abstract

Sex education for early childhood is a crucial step in preventing sexual abuse, particularly within an educational environment rooted in Islamic values. This program introduced sex education through animated videos at Al-Furqan Islamic Kindergarten, utilizing child-friendly and religiously appropriate educational media. Through an Action Research approach, the program was implemented in five stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, reflection, and improvement actions. The results indicate that animated videos effectively enhanced children's understanding of self-protection and body boundaries. The program also alleviated parental concerns about the sensitive nature of the topic through their involvement in educational sessions and discussions, which helped create a supportive educational environment. Evaluation demonstrated a significant improvement in children's comprehension, while reflection provided valuable insights for continuous improvement, including developing a communication guide for parents. Overall, animated videos proved to be an effective method for introducing comprehensive sex education to young children, integrating Islamic values, and fostering collaboration between schools and families.
