Abstract

This article analyzes the effect of Economic Literacy, Parents' Income, and Lifestyle on Students’ Productive Behavior. The data used are primary data. The data are collected using a questionnaire. The population of the research is 358 students of class X MIPA and IPS, which collected 189 samples. The analytical method used was path analysis. The results indicate that Economic Literacy was proven to have a significant effect on Productive Behavior. In addition, parental income as one of the variables had no effect on Productive Behavior. And Lifestyle had a significant effect on Productive Behavior. Hence, Economic Literacy, Parents' Income, and Lifestyle have an effect on Productive Behavior with a contribution rate of 74.8% overall and the others are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

School Principal's academic supervision and teacher self-development are the main priorities in efforts to improve teachers’ professional competence. The research is aimed to determine the effect of academic supervision (X1) and teacher self-development (X2) on the professional competence of teachers (Y) at SDN in North Rupat. The research uses quantitative research. The research is descriptive research with a total sample of 88 people. Simultaneously, there is the effect of the School Principal’s Academic Supervision (X1) and Teacher Self-Development (X2) on Teacher Professional Competence (Y) at SDN in North Rupat. It can be proven by tcount > ttable X1 with 1.735 > 1.662. For X2 12.643 > 1.662, a significance level (sig.) of 0.012 and 0.167, which are higher than 0.05, hence H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, the percentage influence between the two independent variables influences the Teachers’ Professional Competence as a variable at 80.4%, and the others at 19.6% are influenced by other variables or factors that cannot be mentioned in this research.

Abstract

This paper is development research that aims to determine the process, feasibility, and students’ response to game-based learning models as an effort to increase learning motivation in entrepreneurship learning subjects for class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Bangko. The instruments used in the research were validation sheets and questionnaires, and the data that had been collected were analyzed. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis obtained from data collection of material expert validation and model experts sheets, while data collected from questionnaires were used to analyze as an effort to increase students’ learning motivation. The results of the research in the first stage were validated by material experts at 3.00 with a good category of content aspects and at 3.66 with a very good category of several revisions and not feasible testing presentation. In the second stage of material expert validation, the content aspect was 3.5 with a very good category and presenting several suggestions and feasible testing aspects was 3.83 with a very good category. In the first stage of validation by model experts, there were 2.8 with a good category of several revisions and not feasible testing, In stage II, the validation average by model experts was 3.3 with a very good category and feasible testing. Based on the results of the game-based learning model development, the result indicates that it was feasible to be tested in order to find out how students respond to game-based learning models as an effort to increase student learning motivation, which involved 32 students of class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Bangko as research subjects. An assessment score of 2.54 indicates that aspects of students' learning motivation before applying the game-based learning model are in a high category. The assessment score of 3.02 indicates that the aspect of students’ learning motivation after applying the game-based learning model is in the very high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kinerja pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan pada masyarakat di Kantor Desa Kessing, Kecamatan Donri-Donri, Kabupaten Soppeng. Kinerja pegawai merupakan faktor kunci dalam menentukan keberhasilan organisasi pemerintahan dalam mencapai tujuan dan visi misinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, melibatkan 50 responden masyarakat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, regresi linear sederhana, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai berada dalam kategori baik dengan skor 2.094 dari skor ideal 2.500. Kualitas pelayanan juga dinilai sangat baik dengan skor 2.420. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kinerja pegawai dan kualitas pelayanan, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,547. Kontribusi kinerja pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan adalah 29,9%, sedangkan 70,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai secara berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik. Disarankan agar pemerintah desa terus memotivasi dan mengembangkan kapasitas pegawai untuk mencapai pelayanan yang optimal.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of the school principal as an academic supervisor in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence at SD Negeri 1 Pamotan, Rembang. Pedagogical competence, as mandated by Law No. 14 of 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers, is a critical component in managing the learning process and fostering meaningful classroom experiences. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with key school stakeholders, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to explore the principal’s supervisory practices and their influence on teacher development. The findings reveal that the principal implemented a structured and collaborative supervision process, encompassing planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation stages. However, the integration of educational technology and innovative teaching strategies was found to be limited, thereby reducing the overall effectiveness of the supervision in improving student learning outcomes. This study contributes to the existing body of literature by underscoring the strategic role of principals in strengthening pedagogical competence through academic supervision that embraces technology and innovation. It also highlights the importance of ongoing professional development and systematic feedback in enhancing teacher quality and instructional effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education and self efficacy on the entrepreneurial interest of FKIP Riau University students. The population in this study were 1351 active FKIP class of 2020 students and a sample of 93 students. The sampling technique uses a random sampling method. This research uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy influence students' entrepreneurial interest, this is shown through the t test with the results of the entrepreneurship education variable value being 0.001 < 0.05 and the self-efficacy variable value being 0.014 < 0.05. Entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect, meaning that if students have good entrepreneurship education it will increase their interest in entrepreneurship. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect, meaning that if students have high self-efficacy it will increase their interest in entrepreneurship. Likewise, if students have low entrepreneurial education and low self-efficacy, their level of interest in entrepreneurship will also be low.

Abstract

Misconception is one of the problems that is often found in the learning process, this is because of the discrepancy between the concepts that students have with the actual concept. Misconceptions that continue to occur without realizing it will cause students difficulty in receiving learning. This study aims to identify the factors that cause misconceptions that occur in students using the Five-Tier test and questionnaire. The population in this study were students of grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan. The sample in the study were students of class XI-10 SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection method used a five-tier question instrument to measure misconceptions in students and their sources and a questionnaire instrument was used to find out the causes of misconceptions in students. The results showed that 21.76% of students had misconceptions. Based on the results of research using a five-tier question, the sources of information used by students in answering the questions were highest from personal thoughts of 80.38%, teachers 0.48%, internet 8.92, friends 17.94%, and books 5.61%. The results obtained from the question are directly proportional to the results of the causes of misconceptions using questionnaire instruments, based on questionnaire data, the percentage of causes of misconceptions is 61.11% from students, 15.56% from teachers, 40.56% from the internet, 45% from friends, and 25% from books.

Abstract

PT. Istana Karang Laut company is located in Jakarta with a truly international team of highly motivated and experienced specialists, IKL offers a wide range of products and project capabilities and is able to execute projects either for lump-sum EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or individual Process Equipment as well as O&M contracts (Operations and Maintenance). This research aims to examine and compare the measurement methods used in the LPG truck loading process with the measurement accuracy level carried out at the Shylhet Gas Field project site in Bangladesh. Use method statistical quality control for trouble shooting LPG truck loading metering is to improve quality thereby reducing manufacturing costs, scrap, rework, rescheduling, increase consumer confidence and tighten specification limits and increase productivity and production yields. The conclusions and recommendations resulting from this study include meter adjustments to reduce systematic and random errors, as well as measures to prevent random errors in the future. Meter adjustments are made by calculating the new meter factor based on the average of the observed mismatches. In order to reduce random errors, it is recommended to collect as many samples as possible, pay attention to the condition of the truck and the environment before each load, as well as improve the operator's skills in reading the measuring instrument to avoid parallax errors.

Abstract

Customary justice in Aceh has a significant role in resolving various types of cases, including minor crimes such as minor assault. This customary justice system is deeply rooted in local wisdom values ​​and Islamic law, which are recognized by national law through the Aceh Government Law (UUPA) and Aceh Qanun Number 9 of 2008. The purpose of this studyUTo find out and analyze the position of Aceh's customary courts in resolving minor assault crimes in Aceh. To find out and analyze the effectiveness of Aceh's customary courts in resolving minor assault crimes in Aceh. To find out and analyze the community's response to the existence of Aceh's customary courts in resolving minor assault crimes in Aceh.The research method used a qualitative approach with case studies in several villages in Aceh. Data were collected through interviews with traditional leaders, legal actors, and communities who had been involved in the customary justice process. The results of the study indicate that customary justice in Aceh is recognized by the community and functions as an effective, fast, and adequate dispute resolution mechanism. In cases of minor assault, customary justice prioritizes peaceful and family resolution, which usually involves deliberation between the disputing parties and witnessed by customary elders. The decisions taken tend to be oriented towards restoring social relations and providing customary sanctions, such as compensation or an open apology. However, there are several challenges in the implementation of customary justice, especially in terms of alignment with the national justice system and protection of human rights. In conclusion, customary justice in Aceh plays an important role in resolving minor assault crimes with a restorative and peaceful approach, although better synergy is needed between customary justice and formal justice to improve justice and legal certainty.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education continues to be a top priority, both by the government and by all parties involved in the world of education. To achieve this goal, every educational institution, including secondary schools, is required to be able to implement effective and efficient management. This research aims to analyze the leadership of school principals in implementing Total Quality Management at MAN Karimun. This research was carried out at MAN Karimun. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods using interviews and direct observation at schools. The results of this research explain that with transformational leadership, school principals inspire all madrasa elements to innovate and work towards a shared vision. A collaborative approach ensures decision making involves multiple parties, creating a sense of collective responsibility. Meanwhile, servant leadership is demonstrated through the principal's attention to the needs of students, teachers and staff to create a comfortable learning environment. The positive impact of this leadership can be seen from improving the quality of education and achievement of MAN Karimun students.
