Abstract

Motivasi belajar adalah hal yang sangat penting untuk menciptakan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Guru harus bisa memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti penerapan metode pembelajaran luar ruangan (outdoor learning) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS di SDN Pedurungan Tengah 01 serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan metode outdoor learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu triangulation meliputi; lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa motivasi belajar siswa kelas V berhasil meningkat saat guru menerapkan metode pembelajara luar ruangan (outdoor learning) dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, siswa terlihat lebih aktif dan bersemangat saat mengikuti pembelajaran. Mereka juga mengatakan bahwa metode ini tidak membuat mereka merasa cepat bosan karena mereka lebih bebas serta daat mengamati materi yang sedang mereka pelajari secara langsung. Adapun faktor pendukung pada Adapun faktor pendukung yaitu adanya dukungan dari seluruh pihak sekolah, sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung, serta adanya komitmen antara guru dan murid untuk saling membantu dalam pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran luar ruangan (outdoor learning). kemudian faktor penghambatnya yaitu penerapan metode tersebut membutuhkan tenaga ekstra yang harus dimiliki oleh guru karena siswa akan lebih bebas melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran luar ruangan serta waktu yang lebih lama.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how information disclosure and scholarship information service updates on the UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh website. The method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of research is the official website manager of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, the student and alumni administration and student development section, and some of the students of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The results showed that the openness of scholarship information provided by UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh to students is not open because on the scholarship website submenu there is no regular scholarship information update. And the update of scholarship information services on the UIN Ar-Raniry website provided to students on the scholarship submenu website does not have information services as a scholarship information website because information is not updated regularly. This is influenced by the lack of human resources (HR) managing the UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh website.

Abstract

Understanding fetal health early can reduce risks to the pregnancy and the womb. Identifying correlations among factors influencing fetal well-being helps medical professionals clarify key impacts. Quantified relationships between features and labels also guide future research. This study focuses on three aspects: evaluating KNN model performance with and without ReliefF feature selection, analyzing the impact of feature removal, and assessing ReliefF's ability to identify critical features for fetal health classification.The research begins by framing fetal health classification as a supervised machine learning task using labeled datasets. A cardiotocographic dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository supports data collection. Initial analysis identifies data types and detects outliers, followed by preprocessing, feature selection, and KNN model training. Model testing uses metrics such as accuracy and recall. Results show the KNN model with ReliefF features achieves an accuracy of 0.896. Testing a pruned model by removing high-importance features slightly reduces accuracy to 0.866. These findings confirm ReliefF's effectiveness in identifying essential features and optimizing model efficiency without compromising quality. This study underscores ReliefF's role in improving KNN performance for fetal health classification.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an essential role in the national economy, including the snack food industry, such as Bu Nia’s Tempe Chips. However, defective products are still found in the production process, particularly related to texture and color. This study aims to identify the types of defects, analyze the contributing factors, and propose improvements using the Seven Tools method. Based on six months of production data analysis (January–May 2024), the defect rate was found to be 5.95%, consisting of 5.56% texture defects and 0.59% color defects. Several improvement measures were proposed, including the development of Work Instructions (WIs) for slicer machine maintenance, standardization of frying parameters, provision of larger containers to reduce pressure on the product, and separation of packaging areas to prevent contamination. Additionally, a rotational employee schedule was implemented during the Idul Fitri holiday to maintain product availability. These improvements are estimated to reduce the defect rate by up to 60%, from 5.95% to 2.6%, thereby enhancing production efficiency and product quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan seperangkat instrumen assesmen yang dapat mengukur seberapa besar kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa calon guru fisika pada materi optika geometri. Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan asesmen metakognisi dalam pembelajaran sains agar kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran sains lebih menjadi bermakna. Metode yang digunakan adalah tahapan penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE. Instrument diberikan kepada mahasiwa yang mengambil mata kuliah Fisika Dasar II di Universitas PGRI Pontianak.  Penyusuanan instrument assesmen metakognisi dilakukan setelah penyusunan Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) untuk mengetahui pengetahuan kognitif (pengetahuan deklaratif, pengetahuan procedural dan pengetahuan kondisional) dan regulasi kognitif mahasiswa calon guru tersebut. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah instrument assesmen metakognisi yang akan dilakukan proses peneltian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyusun lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) yang berbasis struktur kognitif dan kemampuan metakognisi. LKPD disusun untuk meningkatan kemampuan struktur kognitif peserta didik pada aspek struktur berfikir komparatif, struktur representasi simbolik, dan struktur penalaran logis serta kemampuan metakognisi peserta didik pada aspek planning (perencanaan), monitoring, reflection. Materi LKPD disesuaikan dengan standar kompetensi, yaitu menerapkan hukum-hukum fluida statis, merancang dan melakukan percobaan yang memanfaatkan sifat-sifat fluida statis.  Tahapan penelitian pengembangan ini sampai pada tahapan analisis dan mendesain.

Abstract

Abstract: Disadvantages of heat-polymerized acrylic resin as a denture base material are porosity and water absorption, which can cause aesthetic problems due to causing discoloration of the acrylic resin. Color pigments in food or beverages can be absorbed into the acrylic resin, causing discoloration. This disadvantage may be prevented by a coating material such as an edible coating. This study aimed to determine the effect of edible coating on the color stability of acrylic resin. This was a laboratory and experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were 30 plates of acrylic resin measuring 10 x10 x 2 mm, divided into six groups, consisting of three groups without edible coating and three groups with edible coating. All were immersed in lemongrass water for three days, five days, and seven days. Color measurements of value, chroma, and hue were taken using the VITA EasyshadeÒ spectrophotometer. The result showed there were significant color differences in chroma and hue values after immersion in lemongrass water for seven days (p=0.045 and p=0.028). In conclusion, acrylic resin with edible coating has better color stability compared to acrylic resin without edible coating. Keywords: acrylic resin; dentures; edible coating; color stability    Abstrak: Kekurangan resin akrilik polimerisasi panas sebagai bahan basis gigi tiruan ialah porositas dan penyerapan air yang dapat menimbulkan masalah estetik karena mengakibatkan perubahan warna pada resin akrilik.  Zat warna dalam makanan atau minuman yang dikonsumsi dapat terserap ke dalam resin akrilik sehingga terjadi perubahan warna. Kekurangan ini mungkin dapat dicegah oleh bahan pelapis seperti edible coating. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edible coating terhadap stabilitas warna resin akrilik. Jenis penelitian ialah eksperimental laboratorik dengan desain pretest-posttest with control group. Sampel penelitian ialah 30 buah resin akrilik berukuran 10 x 10 x 2 mm, dibagi menjadi enam kelompok yaitu tiga kelompok tanpa edible coating dan tiga kelompok dilapisi edible coating, dan semuanya direndam dalam air rebusan serai dapur selama tiga hari, lima hari, dan tujuh hari. Pengukuran warna value, chroma dan hue menggunakan alat spektrofotometer VITA EasyshadeÒ. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan perbedaan warna yang bermakna pada nilai chroma dan hue setelah perendaman selama tujuh hari (p=0,045 dan p=0,028). Simpulan penelitian ini ialah resin akrilik yang dilapisi edible coating memiliki stabilitas warna yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan resin akrilik tanpa edible coating. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume bangun ruang di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume bangun ruang, dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) perumusan masalah, 2) pemrosesan data dan penyusunan konjektur, 3) pemeriksaan konjektur, 4) verbalisasi konjektur, dan 5) umpan balik. Kata kunci: penemuan terbimbing, hasil belajar, luas permukaan dan volume bangun ruang Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the application of guided discovery method that can improve student learning outcomes at the material surface area and volume of geometry in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. Kind of this research is classroom action research. The design of this research refered to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi totaling 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data of this research was collected through observation sheet, interview, field note and test. The results showed that the application of the method of guided discovery can improve student learning outcomes at the material surface area and volume geometry, by following the steps as follows: 1) formulation of the problem, 2) data processing and preparation of conjecture, 3) examination of conjecture, 4) verbalization conjecture, and 5) feedbackKeywords: guided discovery, learning outcomes, surface area and volume geometry

Abstract

Background: Based on WHO data in 2017, the Neonatal Mortality Rate (NAR) reached 18/1000 live births, and the Under-five Mortality Rate (IMR) reached 39/1000 live births. IMR and IMR must be anticipated in relation to the increase in children who have developmental problems. According to Riskesdas data (2018), the total development index of children aged 36-59 months in Indonesia is 88.3%. The lowest development index is literacy, at 64.6%, followed by social-emotional (69.9%), learning (95.2%), and physical (97.8%). The MCH book is one of the instruments that can be used to stimulate child development. Objective: To conduct a review of several literatures related to the influence of the use of KIA books in providing stimulation for child development. Method: This study uses a literature review that examines the concepts and theories related to the use of MCH books in stimulating child development. The number of articles reviewed is four. Results: The MCH book can be used as one of the instruments to stimulate toddler development. After receiving health education through the MCH book, there was an increase in mothers' knowledge about stimulating child development. Conclusion: The MCH book is one of the tools that mothers can use to stimulate child development, enabling them to detect early signs of stunted child development and treat it promptly to overcome growth and development issues.

Abstract

In today's digital era, technology has become an integral part of life, including in education. One of the increasingly popular technologies is Augmented Reality (AR), a technology that allows the integration of the real world with digital elements in one display. AR offers an interactive and immersive experience that can be used in education. The use of AR as a learning medium is expected to help students of the History Education Study Program to improve the quality of learning outcomes. The development of AR based on unity 3D is the right choice for history learning. This study uses a quantitative research method of quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The experimental class had an increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest of 12.13. While the control class had an increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest of 4.85. So there is a significant difference in the difference in the increase between the experimental and control classes of 8.02. For the first t-test by conducting a test on the posttest in the experimental class with the control class, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was obtained at 0.018 <0.05. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. Then the second test-2 by comparing the pretest and posttest of the experimental class obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.00 <0.005, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes for the pretest and posttest in the experimental class. Thus, the effectiveness of using Augmented Reality on prehistoric human material based on unity 3D on the quality of learning outcomes of students in the History Education Study Program.
