Abstract

Decision to move to other job (turnover) is a complex process as the individual needs to consider some alternatives before he/she decides whether to keep or leave his/her current job. This study is done to get a picture about (a) the process of decision making to move to other job based on Mobley's model of decision making process (1977), and (b)their satisfaction as a result of the decision. Quantitative method is used (as dominant component) in combination with qualitative method (as less dominant component). Attitude scale and questionnaire were used in the quantitative method whereas focus interview was used in the qualitative method. From the participants (N=40) involved in the quantitative method, 3 of them were taken for the qualitative inquiries. The result shows that only 55.5%of the participants pass through all levels of Mobley's model of decision making process. Those who follow all the level of decision making process feel satisfied with their decision to turnover to the new job. Putusan untuk pindah kerja (turnover) merupakan suatu proses yang kompleks, membutuhkan berbagai alternatif dan pertimbangan untuk sampai pada putusan apakah akan tetap bertahan pada pekerjaan yang sedang digeluti, atau pindah kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai (a) proses (tahap-tahap) yang dilalui individu dalam mengambil putusan pindah kerja dengan mengacu pada model proses pengambilan putusan pindah kerja yang dikemukakan oleh Mobley (1977), dan (b) kepuasan yang dirasakan sebagai hasil putusan pindah kerja Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengombinasikan pendekatan kuantitatif (sebagai komponen dominan) dan pendekatan kualitatif (sebagai komponen kurang dominan). Untuk pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan pengukuran dengan skala sikap dan kuesioner, sedangkan untuk pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan wawancara terfokus. Sampel (N=40) untuk pendekatan kuantitatif , 3 orang diantaranya dilibatkan dalam pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwahanya 55.5% subjek penelitian yang melalui semua tahapan pengambilan putusan pindah kerjayang dikemukakan Mobey (1977). Mereka yang mengikuti semua tahapan proses pengambilan putusan pindah kerja cenderung merasa puas terhadap putusan untuk pindah kerja.

Abstract

Gouty arthritis is a disease of the musculoskeletal system that attacks the joints with the main problem of pain due to the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals that cause an inflammatory response. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the level of pain in gouty arthritis patients in the Puskesmas Kertosari Working Area for the period February-April 2025. This research method used a descriptive case series survey research design with a purposive sampling technique on 25 respondents according to the inclusion criteria. The instrument used was the Verbal Rating Scale (VRS). The results of this study showed that half of them experienced severe pain 50% with the characteristics of respondents almost half aged 61 - 68 years (37.5%), and most were male (58.3%). The results of this study can be used as a guideline in pain management in gouty arthritis and become a reference for further research..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Jurus ak3+ program in Probolinggo City as an innovation in public service that integrates death certificate issuance with direct financial assistance for bereaved families. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using David L. Weimer and Aidan R. Vining’s theory of policy implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of Jurus ak3+ has been effective, fulfilling three key components of policy success: rational and contextual policy logic, supportive socio-institutional environment, and responsive implementer capacity. This program successfully addresses the real needs of economically vulnerable groups through timely, targeted, and socially impactful services. The study concludes that Jurus ak3+ is a best practice in vital event-based public policy implementation, effectively combining bureaucratic efficiency with social compassion in a sustainable and replicable model.

Abstract

The welfare of tobacco farmers in Probolinggo Regency remains a major issue due to fluctuating market prices, limited access to subsidized fertilizers, and lack of technical training. To address this, the local government issued Regional Regulation No. 30 of 2022, utilizing Tobacco Excise Revenue Sharing Funds (DBHCHT) to support farmer welfare. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the policy in Tamansari Village using George C. Edward III’s policy implementation theory, which emphasizes four key factors: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The results show that the policy has been implemented in accordance with procedures and has contributed positively to improving the quality of tobacco yields through training and fertilizer assistance. However, several challenges remain, including incomplete beneficiary data, lack of information access, and uneven distribution of agricultural inputs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of POAC management functions (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) in transforming educational management to realize the vision of lifelong learning. The method employed is a literature review, collecting data from scientific journals, digital e-books, and relevant official documents. The results indicate that the systematic application of POAC enhances the quality of learning, builds an educational ecosystem adaptive to digital technology, and strengthens individual metacognitive abilities. Effective management is found to be the primary foundation for overcoming access inequality and addressing global challenges in the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras. The conclusion emphasizes that management transformation through the POAC framework is not merely an administrative necessity but a crucial prerequisite for creating a sustainable learning culture responsive to modern changes. Abstract

Inclusive education has become a global priority to ensure equal access to quality education for children with special needs. However, its implementation in developing countries remains challenging, particularly for teachers who play a central role in inclusive classrooms. This study aims to systematically examine the challenges faced by teachers in implementing inclusive education for children with special needs in developing countries through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The review analyzed peer-reviewed national and international journal articles published between 2021 and 2025 and retrieved from academic databases relevant to inclusive education. The findings reveal that teachers encounter multidimensional challenges, including limited pedagogical competence, psychological burden, inadequate institutional support, policy–practice gaps, and socio-cultural barriers. These challenges are interrelated and reflect broader systemic issues within educational systems in developing countries. This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of recent evidence and offers insights for policymakers, educational institutions, and teacher education programs to strengthen inclusive education through systemic and sustainable approaches. Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the world's deadliest infectious diseases, with Indonesia being among the countries with the highest TB burden. Semarang City, as an urban area with a dense population, faces significant challenges in controlling TB, particularly among vulnerable populations. This study identifies significant risk factors influencing TB incidence in Semarang City using a binary logistic regression model. Descriptive analysis reveals an imbalance in the data, with the majority of patients categorized as "not indicated for TB." Chi-Square tests show that variables such as shortness of breath, persistent fever for more than one month, diabetes mellitus, and household contact are significantly associated with TB incidence. The logistic regression model demonstrates overall significance (G statistic = 275.13; p-value = 1.23×10−55), with shortness of breath and diabetes mellitus emerging as major risk factors based on odds ratio interpretation. However, the model's performance in detecting the "indicated for TB" category is very low (Precision 36.36%; Recall 2.05%; F1-Score 3.88%), despite an overall accuracy of 87.25%. The poor performance in the "1" category and the Pseudo R2 value of 7% are likely related to data imbalance, where the number of cases in the "1" category is much smaller than in the "0" category, leading to bias toward the majority class. Additionally, the distribution of predictor variables that do not provide sufficient information to distinguish the "1" category from the "0" category further contributes to the model's limited ability to explain data variability overall.

Abstract

Background: MSMEs in Serang Regency face significant barriers to growth, including challenges in digital marketing, inventory management, and product distribution. These operational gaps limit competitiveness and local economic development. This community service initiative addresses these issues by focusing on digital transformation through the implementation of the UMKM Go Digital System (UGODIS). Purpose of the Study: The purpose is to enhance the digital readiness and operational efficiency of MSMEs. The objectives are to improve participants' digital literacy, business management capabilities, and proficiency in online sales processes using the UGODIS platform. Methods: The program employed a learning by doing approach, which included system implementation, hands-on training, ongoing mentoring, and structured evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. Results: The activity resulted in significant skill improvements across all measured areas: business planning (+46%), financial management (+71%), digital marketing (+67%), online store creation (+68.5%), and real-time sales monitoring (+66%). The UGODIS system effectively enhanced MSME competitiveness, expanded market access, and contributed to building a sustainable local digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi prioritas utama dalam sektor pendidikan tinggi untuk mengembangkan metode dan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih maju, efektif, dan relevan dengan misi institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena transformasi digital pada konteks universitas baru melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam (in-depth interviews) semi-terstruktur dengan 12 informan yang terdiri dari pimpinan dan dosen di Universitas Sragen. Analsisi data menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa universitas baru menghadapi tantangan kompleks yang bersifat teknis maupun fundamental dalam mempersiapkan transisi digital. Ditemukan tujuh tantangan utama, yaitu: perubahan pola pikir, usia, waktu yang lama untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi, kesalahpahaman akan transformasi digital, kurangnya sosialisasi program, kurangnya infrastuktur IT dan biaya yang besar. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merumuskan lima strategi strategis yang meliputi: manajemen kepemimpinan, indivualisasi, melakukan pembuatan sistem kinerja yang baru, melakukan upgrade infrastruktur, dan menggunakan teknologi pihak ketiga.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment among educational staff at newly established private higher education institutions. Newly founded universities face challenges in developing a strong organizational culture while simultaneously maintaining job satisfaction to foster long-term employee commitment. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. The population consisted of all educational staff at a private university in South Lampung Regency that has been established for less than five years. A total of 35 respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment when tested partially. In contrast, organizational culture does not have a significant partial effect on organizational commitment. However, simultaneous testing indicates that organizational culture and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. These findings suggest that in newly established higher education institutions, job satisfaction plays a dominant role in shaping the commitment of educational staff, while organizational culture requires time to be fully internalized. This study recommends that new universities prioritize policies aimed at improving job satisfaction and continuously strengthening the internalization of organizational culture to enhance organizational commitment among educational staff.
