Abstract

Student academic achievement serves as a crucial measure of educational success, shaped by various internal and external factors. A significant element in this context is the influence of the madrasa head’s leadership in fostering a supportive learning environment, coupled with parental support that encompasses emotional backing, material assistance, and active engagement in school activities. This study seeks to examine how school leadership and parental support impact the enhancement of students' academic achievement at MAN 2 Bulukumba. Using a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design, this research involved 103 students selected through stratified random sampling techniques. Data were gathered using questionnaires that focused on three primary variables: madrasa head’s leadership, parental support, and student academic achievement. The data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression via SPSS 27. The results show that madrasa head leadership (X1) has a positive and significant effect on student academic achievement, with a significance value of 0.026 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 2.263. Parental support (X2) also has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.010 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 2.618. Overall, these two variables have a significant simultaneous effect on student academic achievement, with an F-value of 10.235 (p = 0.001). This study concludes that the synergy between the madrasa head’s leadership and parental support positively impacts the improvement of student academic achievement.

Abstract

The success of an educational institution in improving its quality is heavily influenced by the performance of its teachers as one of the key factors. Various aspects affect teacher performance, including age and educational background. Based on several studies, these two factors play a significant role in determining the level of teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which teachers' age and educational background influence their performance in an educational foundation in Lamongan Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 102 teachers in three educational institutions under the foundation. The questionnaires were designed to measure three main variables: teacher age, educational background, and teacher performance. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which teacher age and educational background impact their performance. The data processing was conducted using SPSS 27 software. The findings reveal that teacher age (X1) and educational background (X2) have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y), as evidenced by the significant values of X1 and X2, which were both <.001. The t-value for X1 was 5.042, while for X2, it was 4.454. Additionally, the combined variables of teacher age and educational background simultaneously influenced teacher performance, with a significance level of p= 0.001 and an impact percentage of 5.4%. Thus, it can be concluded that both factors significantly influence teacher performance within the foundation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis butir soal Bahasa Arab di SDIT Al Islam Kudus dengan fokus pada validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesulitan, daya pembeda, dan pengecoh butir soal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data dari lembar jawaban siswa kelas IV Semester 1. Dari 25 butir soal yang diuji, 21 dinyatakan valid berdasarkan analisis Product Moment, sementara 4 tidak valid. Sebanyak 21 butir soal dinilai reliabel, sementara 4 tidak reliabel berdasarkan koefisien Alpha Cronbach. Tingkat kesulitan menunjukkan bahwa 3 butir soal berada pada tingkat kesulitan sedang dan 22 pada tingkat sukar, tanpa ada yang mudah. Analisis daya pembeda menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar butir soal memiliki daya pembeda yang baik. Analisis pengecoh menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar butir soal memiliki pengecoh yang diterima dengan baik, namun beberapa perlu direvisi. Disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi butir soal Bahasa Arab di SD perlu ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Bahasa Arab di tingkat SD

Abstract

Brand image merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam setiap lembaga pendidikan sebab hal ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengukur kualitas lembaga pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa. Hal tersebut juga didukung oleh kemampuan kinerja guru sebagai Sumber Daya Manusia dalam lembaga Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh antara brand image sekolah dan kinerja tenaga pendidik terhadap keputusan calon siswa melanjutkan studi di SMP Darul Faqih Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sumber data berupa hasil angket yang disebarkan kepada responden yakni siswa kelas 7 Angkatan 2022/2023 sejumlah 30 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui uji F Anova dan uji koefisiensi R Square menunjukkan bahwa brand image dan kualitas tenaga pendidik di SMP Darul Faqih dapat mempengengaruhi keputusan calon siswa memlilih SMP Darul Faqih untuk melanjutkan studi. Adanya Brand image dan kualitas tenaga pendidik dapat dijadikan sebagai nilai keunggulan sekolah untuk meningkatkan daya saing dalam ranah industri pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya korelasi antara brand image dan kualitas tenaga pendidik dengan keputusan siswa. Semakin berkualitas tenaga pendidik yang disediakan SMP Darul Faqih mampu meningkatkan minat calon siswa untuk mendaftar.

Abstract

This study was to test whether there was an effect of curriculum application 2013 on the Arabic learning outcomes of grade 10 students of MAN 1 Bojonegoro. Sempel collection using simple random sampling. The sample taken was as many as 20 respondents of grade 10 students. This study uses 1 independent variable, namely the application of curriculum (x) and 1 dependent variable, namely learning outcomes (y). The data used in this study are primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data in the form of books, journals related to this study. This study used quantitative. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression analysis. The result of this study is significant by 0.04 meaning <0.05. In addition to the coefficient of determination, a value of 25.9% is obtained so that it can be concluded that variable X has an effect of 0.259 or 25.9 on variable Y. Abstract

Arabic language learning is only applied in a few schools and its application experiences several obstacles due to lack of interest. However, if Arabic language learning is applied from the beginning, student interest in learning will increase and will affect student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is (1) to examine the correlation or relationship between educational background and Arabic learning outcomes (2) to examine the correlation between students' learning interest and Arabic learning outcomes (3) to examine the correlation between students' educational background and students' learning motivation on students' learning outcomes. The subjects in this study were 12 students of class X IIBS Al-Maahira. the data collection technique was to distribute questionnaires related to students' educational background and learning motivation. Data related to student learning outcomes using Arabic midterm exam scores. The data analysis technique is simple correlation analysis. The results of this study are (1) there is a relationship between educational background and learning outcomes as much as 0.710 (2) a simple correlation between learning motivation and correlation results with results as much as 0.710 (3) there is a high and significant relationship between students' educational background and student learning motivation with Arabic learning outcomes by showing a correlation coefficient of 0.736 and a coefficient of determination of 0.541

Abstract

ABSTRACT Parenting involves warm, sensitive, and accepting behaviors, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between fathers and mothers. A lack of father involvement can affect a child's behavior, social development, and academic performance. This study adopts a qualitative approach using phenomenological methods, employing in-depth interviews to collect data from male participants who have children and reside in Malang. The results indicate that father involvement in parenting significantly impacts children's moral, emotional, and academic development. This research classifies fathering styles into three types: delegation, participation, and collaboration. Each type has a different approach to supporting children's education and decision-making. These findings are expected to pave the way for further research on the role of fathers in the family and its implications for child development. Abstrak: Pengasuhan melibatkan perilaku yang hangat, sensitif, dan penuh penerimaan serta pentingnya kerjasama antara ayah dan ibu. Kurangnya keterlibatan ayah dapat mempengaruhi prilaku anak, perkembangan sosial serta akademis mereka. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, menggunakan wawancara mendalam untuk mengumpulkan data dari partisipan dengan kriteria laki-laki dewasa yang memiliki anak dan berdomisili Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan anak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan moral, emosional, dan akademis anak. Penelitian ini mengklasifikasikan tipe pola pengasuhan ayah menjadi tiga: delegasi, partisipasi, dan kolaborasi. Setiap tipe memiliki pendekatan berbeda dalam mendukung pendidikan dan pengambilan keputusan anak. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membuka jalan bagi penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai peran ayah dalam keluarga dan implikasinya terhadap perkembangan anak.

Abstract

This research aims to fill the gap with a focus on Perception, learning process, challenges faced by students and solutions in the OBE-based learning process. This study uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection through interviews and observations. The analysis of data obtained from interviews and observations will be analyzed using thematic analysis. This process includes transcribing interviews, encoding data, and identifying themes that emerge from the student experience. The results of the study on students' perception of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based learning process in the Master of Arabic Language Education program, it can be concluded that:1. Positive Effects on OBE, 2. The Importance of Direct Practice,3. Interaction and Feedback. 4. The Need for a More Personal Approach,5. Availability of Learning Resources. Overall, OBE provides a positive learning experience for students, but it also needs to be balanced with adjustments in teaching methods and more personalized support to overcome existing challenges.

Abstract

Abstract Independence is an important element in a human being to live his life optimally and meaningfully. Therefore, educational institutions as a pillar in educating are required to train independence. In this condition, pesantren with its distinctive characteristics form individual students by boarding their students. The pesantren education model that educates character is very interesting to discuss. This study aims to determine the patterns of education of santri independence. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research that analyzes three santri in three pesantren, namely, Sidogiri, Al-Hikam, and Asy-Syadzili. The results of this study show that there are three main aspects of independence, namely emotional, behavioral, and cognitive. Emotional independence relates to an individual's ability to manage their emotions without being overly dependent on support from others. Behavioral independence includes the ability to take action and make decisions on one's own, while cognitive independence involves the ability to think independently and motivate oneself in the learning process. Abstrak Kemandirian merupakan suatu unsur penting dalam diri seorang manusia untuk menjalani kehidupannya secara maksimal dan bermakna. Maka dari itu, Lembaga Pendidikan sebagai pilar dalam mendidik dituntut untuk melatih kemandirian. Dalam kondisi itu pesantren dengan ciri khasnya membentuk individu santri dengan mengasramakan peserta didiknya. Model pendidikan pesantren yang mendidik karakter sangat menarik untuk dibahas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola-pola pendidikan kemandirian santri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menganalisis dari tiga santri di tiga pesantren yaitu, Sidogiri, Al-Hikam, dan Asy-Syadzili. Hasil penelitian ini ada tiga aspek utama kemandirian yaitu emosional, perilaku, dan kognitif. Kemandirian emosional berkaitan dengan kemampuan individu untuk mengelola emosinya tanpa terlalu tergantung pada dukungan dari orang lain. Kemandirian perilaku mencakup kemampuan untuk mengambil tindakan dan membuat keputusan sendiri, sementara kemandirian kognitif melibatkan kemampuan untuk berpikir secara mandiri dan memotivasi diri sendiri dalam proses belajar.
