Abstract

Abstract Independence is an important element in a human being to live his life optimally and meaningfully. Therefore, educational institutions as a pillar in educating are required to train independence. In this condition, pesantren with its distinctive characteristics form individual students by boarding their students. The pesantren education model that educates character is very interesting to discuss. This study aims to determine the patterns of education of santri independence. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research that analyzes three santri in three pesantren, namely, Sidogiri, Al-Hikam, and Asy-Syadzili. The results of this study show that there are three main aspects of independence, namely emotional, behavioral, and cognitive. Emotional independence relates to an individual's ability to manage their emotions without being overly dependent on support from others. Behavioral independence includes the ability to take action and make decisions on one's own, while cognitive independence involves the ability to think independently and motivate oneself in the learning process. Abstrak Kemandirian merupakan suatu unsur penting dalam diri seorang manusia untuk menjalani kehidupannya secara maksimal dan bermakna. Maka dari itu, Lembaga Pendidikan sebagai pilar dalam mendidik dituntut untuk melatih kemandirian. Dalam kondisi itu pesantren dengan ciri khasnya membentuk individu santri dengan mengasramakan peserta didiknya. Model pendidikan pesantren yang mendidik karakter sangat menarik untuk dibahas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola-pola pendidikan kemandirian santri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menganalisis dari tiga santri di tiga pesantren yaitu, Sidogiri, Al-Hikam, dan Asy-Syadzili. Hasil penelitian ini ada tiga aspek utama kemandirian yaitu emosional, perilaku, dan kognitif. Kemandirian emosional berkaitan dengan kemampuan individu untuk mengelola emosinya tanpa terlalu tergantung pada dukungan dari orang lain. Kemandirian perilaku mencakup kemampuan untuk mengambil tindakan dan membuat keputusan sendiri, sementara kemandirian kognitif melibatkan kemampuan untuk berpikir secara mandiri dan memotivasi diri sendiri dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Pentingnya menempuh pendidikan tinggi adalah untuk menumbuhkan keilmuan baru dan teknologi supaya menghasilkan kemampuan intelektual diri, ilmuwan dan profesional yang beradab dan inovatif, toleransi, royal, juga berkepribadian kuat. Namun, realita yang ada saat ini tidak sedikit para remaja yang tidak minat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Beberapa di antaranya lebih menginginkan untuk bekerja, menikah dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tipologi remaja lulusan SMA/sederajat dalam memandang studi lanjut di perguruan tinggi dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan mereka tidak kuliah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian naratif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara jenis semi terstruktur terhadap 8 remaja lulusan SMA/sederajat. Kemudian peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan sebagai teknik analisis datanya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat 3 tipologi remaja lulusan SMA/sederajat dalam memandang studi lanjut di perguruan tinggi yaitu tipe optimis, tipe pesimis/pemalas dan tipe pragmatis. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang menghalanginya terdiri dari faktor eskternal yaitu faktor keluarga, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Faktor internal yaitu kurangnya kesadaran/motivasi dari diri sendiri dalam menempuh pendidikan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja lulusan SMA yang tidak melanjutkan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi memilki sudut pandang yang berbeda-beda tentang kuliah. Beberapa faktor baik internal dan eksternal sangat mempengaruhi sudut pandang remaja sekaligus juga mempengaruhi minat mereka untuk kuliah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of moral learning effectiveness and teacher role modeling on students' attitudes of respect in the face of the challenges of the digital era. The shift in the values of pesantren students' manners, influenced by the global flow of information, is the main problem in this research. In fact, ta'dzim is the essence of the blessing of knowledge, which must be maintained even tho the digital world brings many challenges. The research method used is quantitative with a causal-associative design, where data was collected thru questionnaires distributed to a sample of 227 students using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. To analyze the data, the Multiple Linear Regression technique was used. The research results indicate that the effectiveness of moral education and teacher role modeling have a positive and significant influence on students' attitudes of respect, with a contribution of 55.1% (R2=0.551) based on the F-statistic test (137.268) with a significance value of 0.000. Partially, teacher role modeling (X2) has a more dominant influence (regression coefficient 0.541) compared to the effectiveness of moral learning (X1). The conclusion of this research is that the formation of student character of reverence in pesantren must involve synergy between an effective education system and real-life examples from educators, who can serve as role models in daily life.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل فعالية استخدام وسائط الفيديو "Benime" في تحسين فهم المفردات لدى طلاب الصف السابع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الثانية في بادانغ (MTsN 2 Padang). وتستند خلفية هذا البحث إلى ضعف إتقان الطلاب لمفردات اللغة العربية، والذي يُعزى إلى استخدام طرق التدريس التقليدية غير الجاذبة. يعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الكمي باستخدام التصميم التجريبي الشبه الكامل (quasi-experimental design)، حيث شمل مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية استخدمت وسائط الفيديو "Benime"، ومجموعة ضابطة استخدمت الطريقة التقليدية. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، والاختبار القبلي، والاختبار البعدي، وتم تحليلها باستخدام اختبار (t). أظهرت نتائج البحث أن طلاب المجموعة التجريبية أبدوا اهتمامًا ومشاركة وفهمًا أعلى للمفردات مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة. وقد بيّن اختبار (t) وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين نتائج الاختبار البعدي للمجموعتين، حيث كانت قيمة الدلالة 0.00 < 0.05، وقيمة (t) المحسوبة أكبر من قيمة (t) الجدولية. وتُثبت هذه النتائج أن وسائط الفيديو "Benime" فعالة في تحسين فهم مفردات اللغة العربية. لذلك، يُوصى باستخدام الوسائط السمعية البصرية التفاعلية مثل "Benime" كخيار ابتكاري بديل في تعليم اللغة العربية في مستوى المعاهد الإسلامية. كما يُسهم هذا البحث في إثراء الدراسات التطبيقية المتعلقة بتطوير الوسائط التعليمية المعتمدة على التكنولوجيا في البيئة التعليمية.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization and learning innovation on students’ learning creativity. Employing a quantitative associative approach, the research involved 100 university students as the sample. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple regression after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The findings indicate that AI utilization and learning innovation have a significant effect on learning creativity, as reflected by a correlation coefficient of 0.844 and a significance value of 0.000. The results demonstrate that AI contributes to enhancing students’ ability to explore information, generate new ideas, and understand learning materials through adaptive recommendations and feedback. Learning innovation also plays an essential role in creating interactive, flexible, and creativity-stimulating learning environments. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran hermeneutika sebagai jembatan epistemologis dalam menghubungkan agama dan sains, dua tradisi pengetahuan yang kerap ditempatkan dalam relasi konflik atau independensi. Dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Kritis–Interpretatif, kajian ini menelaah bagaimana prinsip-prinsip hermeneutika filosofis—khususnya gagasan horizon, pre-understanding, dan fusion of horizons ala Gadamer dan Ricoeur—dapat mengintegrasikan dimensi normatif agama dengan rasionalitas empiris sains tanpa mereduksi karakter epistemik masing-masing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hermeneutika menyediakan mekanisme dialogis yang memungkinkan kedua bidang saling mengoreksi, saling memperkaya, dan berkolaborasi dalam menjawab persoalan kontemporer seperti bioetika, ekologi, dan kecerdasan buatan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa hermeneutika tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai metode penafsiran teks, tetapi sebagai paradigma epistemologis yang relevan untuk membangun ilmu pengetahuan yang lebih reflektif, etis, dan humanistik. Dengan demikian, hermeneutika menawarkan kerangka integratif yang dapat memperkuat pengembangan ilmu kontemporer dalam konteks masyarakat modern yang kompleks dan pluralistik.

Abstract

The dichotomy between religion and science remains a significant epistemological issue in contemporary Islamic scholarship. Modern scientific paradigms, which tend to be positivistic and reductionist, often separate rational-empirical knowledge from revelation and spiritual dimensions. This article aims to analyze the integration of religion and science within the Islamic intellectual paradigm through a philosophical examination of the bayani, burhani, and irfani epistemological approaches. These three approaches represent the diversity of sources and methods of knowledge in the Islamic intellectual tradition, encompassing textual authority, rational-empirical reasoning, and intuitive-spiritual experience. This study employs a library research method with a philosophical-analytical approach, examining classical and contemporary works on Islamic epistemology and the discourse of knowledge integration. The findings indicate that the bayani approach plays a crucial role in preserving the authority of religious texts and normative frameworks, the burhani approach provides a systematic rational and empirical structure for scientific inquiry, and the irfani approach enriches knowledge with spiritual insight, ethical depth, and inner awareness. Rather than functioning hierarchically, these approaches are complementary and mutually reinforcing, forming a holistic, dialogical, and contextual paradigm of Islamic knowledge. Therefore, the integration of religion and science through the bayani, burhani, and irfani perspectives offers a philosophical foundation for developing an Islamic epistemology that balances empirical validity, rational coherence, and transcendental values in addressing contemporary intellectual and civilizational challenges.

Abstract

Speaking anxiety is a psychological factor that frequently inhibits students’ confidence and fluency in Arabic language learning. One approach with potential to address this issue is Mindfulness Training, which emphasizes non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily responses. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Mindfulness Training in reducing Arabic speaking anxiety in terms of physiological, cognitive, and affective aspects, as well as to identify the aspect most influenced by the intervention. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 58 eighth-grade students at MTs Wahid Hasyim 1 Dau, Malang. Data were collected through an Arabic speaking anxiety questionnaire administered before and after six intervention sessions, and analyzed using paired sample t-tests and the Friedman test. The results revealed a significant reduction in speaking anxiety across all aspects, with a significance value of p = 0.000. The cognitive aspect showed the greatest decrease (Δ = 9.97), followed by the physiological (Δ = 8.48) and affective aspects (Δ = 7.26). These findings confirm that Mindfulness Training is effective in reducing Arabic speaking anxiety, particularly through changes in students’ cognitive processes.

Abstract

The high number of students who do not continue their higher education is a problem for Islamic boarding schools, especially in improving the quality of human resources. One of the reasons is the lack of social support, lack of motivation to learn, and lack of leadership oriented towards student development. This study aims to analyze the influence of social support and servant leadership on students' learning motivation and its impact on their interest in continuing higher education. This study uses a quantitative approach with the SmartPLS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to students at one of the Salafi Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study show that social support has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation and interest in continuing higher education. Servant leadership also has a positive and significant influence on students' motivation to learn. However, learning motivation does not significantly affect students' interest in pursuing higher education, which indicates that there are other factors that are more dominant in influencing students' decisions. In addition, the interaction between social support and servant leadership on learning motivation did not show a significant effect. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of increasing social support and the implementation  of servant leadership in pesantren in order to build an environment conducive to increasing students' motivation to learn and interest in continuing their education to a higher level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher’s professionalism on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021. The population in this study were students of class X MAN 1 Mataram and the researcher took 45 students from the population to be used as samples in this study. The research approach used is quantitative research because the desired data is in the form of numbers. The researcher used three research instruments for collecting data namely questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation and simple regression with the help of SPSS 16.0 software. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, there was a positive and significant relationship with a correlation level of R=67% indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. And as for the results of the regression analysis, the researcher got the value of F arithmetic > F table 37.140> 4.06 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of teacher professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning Arabic (Y), with the contribution of the effect of teacher’s professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning (Y) is R Square = 45.8%. Therefore, the hypothesis which says "teacher’s professionalism effect on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021 " is accepted
