Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan memberi bekal terkait pembelajaran Koding dan Kecerdasan Artifisial (KA) bagi guru SD di Kecamatan Tuntang. Tujuan khusunya adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru agar menguasai pembelajaran Koding dan KA, Integrasi Koding dan KA dalam pendidikan tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah, tetapi juga mengajarkan berbagai keterampilan esensial yang mencakup berpikir komputasional, analisis data, algoritma pemrograman, etika KA, human-centered mindset, design system KA, dan teknik KA. Langkah-langkah dalam melaksanakan program pengabdian sebagai berikut: (1) Penyusunan proposal, kegiatan berdasarkan analisis masalah dan kebutuhan guru SD, serta menggunakan refesensi-referensi yang up to date berkaitan dengan pembelajaran Koding dan Kecerdasan Artifisial (2) Koordinasi dengan mitra, untuk menentukan waktu pelaksanaan (3) Pelaksanaan pelatihan mulai dari teori dan praktek berlangsung selama 3 bulan. Metode yang digunakan metode kaji tindak yaitu dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan intensif, implementasi, dipantau dan dievaluasi, serta tindak lanjut implementasi dan perbaikan kegiatan. Metode pelatihan dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, pemberian motivasi, penugasan, curah pendapat, dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pelatihan untuk membentuk karakter guru yang kompeten dalam bidang teknologi menggunakan pendekatan andragogi dimana metode ini khusus digunakan untuk orang dewasa. Hasil yang dicapai dalam pelatihan memberikan pembelajaran, pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap guru SD untuk menguasai pembelajaran Koding dan KA, diantaranya: (1) Meningkatkan pembelajaran koding (2) Membangun keterampilan digital, berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif (3) Pemecahan masalah-keterampilan esensial dalam dunia yang terus berubah (4) Guru SD mampu memanfaatkan beberapa aplikasi pembuatan media pembelajaran yang ada di internet, seperti Doodley dan Toonley.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SDN Palebon 03 by using Pakota media on hobbies that become achievements. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was carried out over two cycles, each cycle was carried out in two meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research subjects were 28 class 2A students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of learning completeness was only 28.57% with an average class score of 63.92%. In cycle I, completeness increased to 46.42% with an average of 70.57%. Cycle II showed further improvement with completion reaching 85.71% and a class average of 82.67%. With Pakota media, students can improve their mastery of language vocabulary and student participation or involvement is very good, students are very active in the learning process, teachers can make students motivated and actively involved in the learning process by using Pakota media so that learning objectives can be achieved and learning becomes more fun. ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas 2 SDN Palebon 03 denagan menggunakan media Pakota pada materi hobi yang menjadi prestasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua pertemuan. Setiap siklusnya terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan (observasi), dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas 2A. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Pada pra-siklus, persentase ketuntasan belajar hanya 28,57% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 63,92%. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 46,42% dengan rata-rata 70,57%. Siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan lebih lanjut dengan ketuntasan mencapai 85,71% dan rata-rata kelas 82,67%. Dengan media Pakota dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa siswa maupun partisipasi atau keterlibatan siswa sudah sangat baik, siswa sudah sangat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, guru dapat membuat siswa termotivasi dan terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Pakota sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dan pembelajaran pun menjadi lebih menyenangkan.

Abstract

Language development in early childhood is a fundamental foundation for the formation of thinking, communication, and social skills. This research aims to explore in-depth and develop effective strategies for stimulating early childhood language development, as well as to identify challenges and solutions through the implementation of Action Research in two Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions in Bandung City. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a dual case study design combined with Action Research. The study was conducted at PAUD Rumah Bintang and PAUD Alamanda, Bandung City, involving teachers, students, and principals as subjects. The Action Research design was applied in two cycles, encompassing planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies directly in the field. Data collection involved participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman with triangulation techniques for data validity. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Action Research successfully optimized diverse language stimulation strategies, including read-aloud practices and interactive conversations, adapted to the unique context of each ECE institution. Another key finding is the adaptive strategies in addressing challenges such as limited resources and children's diverse language backgrounds, with solutions emerging from the cycle of reflection and field-based improvement. This study recommends the Action Research approach as an effective framework for ECE educators and institutions to continuously develop and tailor language learning strategies. Keywords: Action research, childdDevelopment, early childhood, language development, learning strategies.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan anak yang sedang berkembang saat usia dini adalah kemampuan berbahasa, salah satunya yaitu kemampuan berbicara. Berbicara merupakan alat komunikasi untuk merespons dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain di sekitarnya. Namun sering ditemukan anak usia dini yang memiliki gangguan berbicara karena beberapa faktor penyebab, baik faktor internal dan eksternal. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data–data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan menganalisa daftar pustaka serta penelitian–penelitian sebelumnya. Tujuannya untuk mencegah dan mengurangi dampak sosial akibat gangguan berbicara di lingkungan pendidikan  anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan, lingkungan pendidikan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mencegah dan meminimalkan dampak sosial yang dialami oleh anak-anak dengan gangguan bicara. Secara teori penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai pengembangan pengetahuan dan secara praktis dapat digunakan sebagai panduan guru dalam upaya mengatasi dampak sosial pada anak dengan gangguan bicara.

Abstract

Low student achievement in Mathematics at the elementary level is often associated with the use of conventional learning methods that do not optimally stimulate student engagement and conceptual understanding. Therefore, innovative learning media are needed to support more interactive and meaningful learning. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Flashcard media based on Game-Based Learning (GBL) to improve mathematics learning outcomes among elementary school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, involving two teachers and 30 second-grade students at SD Negeri Sendangmulyo, Rembang Regency. The developed Flashcards featured colorful visuals, arithmetic operations, and game-based elements to encourage active participation. Expert validation obtained an average score of 3.89 (very feasible), while practicality testing yielded scores of 3.95–4.00 (very practical). The effectiveness test showed an increase in the average student score from 49.63 (pretest) to 78.83 (posttest), with an N-Gain of 0.60 (moderate–high). These results indicate that the Flashcard media based on Game-Based Learning is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ mathematical understanding and learning motivation in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The rapid development of learning technology requires teachers to use innovative media that encourage students’ higher-order thinking skills. In elementary schools, science learning is still dominated by textbooks and teacher explanations, resulting in low student engagement and limited opportunities for developing critical thinking skills. Therefore, interactive media that supports inquiry and exploration is needed. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Torma Code, an interactive learning media based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject on the topic of the sense of sight to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The media, teaching module, and test instruments were validated by two experts and categorized as very valid with average feasibility scores exceeding 90%. Practicality testing involving teachers and students also resulted in a very practical category with scores above 92%. Effectiveness testing through a paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest (Sig. < 0.05), while an N-Gain score of 0.55 indicated moderate improvement. Thus, Torma Code is valid, practical, and effective in improving critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement Flashcard-based Game-Based Learning (GBL) media to enhance elementary students’ understanding of basic arithmetic operations. The research followed the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The product’s feasibility was assessed through expert validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness evaluation. The results show that the Flashcard-based GBL media achieved an average validation score of 3.89 (very feasible) in terms of content, design, and language suitability. The practicality test obtained scores ranging from 3.95 to 4.00, indicating that the media was easy to use and engaging for both teachers and students. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with mean scores increasing from 49.63 (pretest) to 78.83 (posttest), an N-Gain of 0.60, and a p-value < 0.05. These findings demonstrate that Flashcard-based GBL effectively improves mathematical understanding, motivation, and learning engagement in a fun and interactive environment.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran membaca permulaan yang mewajibkan siswa sekolah dasar untuk bisa membaca yang mana itu harus di kuasai oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media kartu abjad yang dipergunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam membaca tingkat permulaan pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 1 Krangganharjo Kabupaten Grobogan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SD Negeri 1 Krangganharjo Kabupaten Grobogan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, penyebaran angket, dokumentasi, dan juga tes. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah bersumber dari wawancara dengan wali kelas I, hasil penyebaran angket kepada orang tua dan wali kelas serta hasil tes kompetensi bagi siswa kelas I SD Negeri 1 Krangganharjo Kabupatem Grobogan. Dari hasil penelitian, masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca dari jumlah total adalah 13 siswa ada sebanyak 8 siswa (61,54%) yang masih mengalami kesulitan khususnya dalam membaca. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka saran yang dapat diajukan untuk penelitian ini adalah pada saat pembelajaran membaca permulaan, sebagai seorang guru diharapkan bisa mempertimbangkan metode dan juga penggunaan media pembelajaran yang lebih bervariasi sesuai dengan minat siswa khususnya yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan.

Abstract

The low skills of science teachers, who often lack adequate education levels, mastery of the subject matter, and effective teaching techniques, negatively impact literacy. Therefore, this study aims to develop an integrated learning tool for Wordwall applications to enhance students' scientific literacy skills, ensuring validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed a research and development approach with a four-dimensional (4D) model design. We conducted this research at Public Elementary School 02 Wonokerso. The data collection instruments used were validity sheets, student worksheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and assessment questions. The study's findings indicated that the learning tools met valid criteria, with the module assessment, student worksheet, and assessment question scores being 82.41, 84.09, and 84.17, respectively. Practicality tests from student and teacher questionnaires meet practical criteria (92.52 and 93.75), respectively. The learning tools are helpful because the "Paired Samples Correlations" (Sig. value of 0.00) and the results of the N-Gain Test fall into the moderate category (average 0.384 and 0.222). Therefore, it is concluded that the proposed integrated Wordwall learning device is valid, practical, and effective. Teachers can use Wordwall's interactive activities to improve primary school science literacy. Wordwall promotes active, fun learning in groups and individually, creating a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

This Research and Development (R&D) study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility (validity and practicality) and efficacy of the Problem-Based learning Interactive Game Educational Media (EDUMEDIG) in enhancing the understanding of Science and Social Sciences among fifth-grade elementary students. The core problem addressed was the limited use of interactive conventional media, which contributed to student passivity, lack of enthusiasm, and difficulties in grasping Science material. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) guided the development process. Using a quasi-experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, the study's population comprised all fifth-grade students. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, selecting 31 students from SD N Sambiroto as the experimental group and 30 students from SD N 2 Mojosari as the control group. Data collection techniques involved written tests (pre-test and post-test) to measure effectiveness, and questionnaires (expert validation, teacher, and student responses) served as the research instruments to assess feasibility. The findings demonstrate that the EDUMEDIG media has excellent validity (Media Experts: 95%; Material Experts: 92.5%) and very high practicality (Teachers: 98.3%; Students: 100%). Crucially, the media proved highly effective, as confirmed by a T-Test result of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference in mean scores between the two groups. This effectiveness was further underscored by the experimental class's N-Gain score of 0.71 (High category), which was substantially higher than the control group's score of 0.257 (Low category). In conclusion, the EDUMEDIG media successfully serves as a valid, practical, and effective innovative solution. It is recommended that this EDUMEDIG media be implemented as a proven tool to enhance students' motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Sciences) subjects.
