Abstract

Abstract

The digital transformation in education demands a paradigm shift in principal leadership, particularly in the implementation of teacher performance supervision. Conventional, administrative supervision is considered insufficiently adaptive to the demands of digital learning. This situation necessitates an in-depth study of principals' digital leadership strategies for improving teacher performance through digital supervision. This study aims to examine and understand in depth the digital leadership strategies of school principals in improving teacher performance through digital supervision based on the experiences of educational practitioners. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Participants included school principals and teachers directly involved in digital supervision. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed using phenomenological analysis to identify essential themes. The research results show that principals' digital leadership is realized through digital data-based supervision planning, collaborative supervision implementation, and ongoing reflective follow-up. These strategies have resulted in improved teacher performance in aspects of lesson planning, pedagogical reflection, and technology-based learning innovation. This study concludes that principals' digital leadership plays a strategic role in building an adaptive and sustainable professional supervision culture. The research's novelty lies in uncovering the subjective experiences of principals and teachers in digital supervision, positioning technology as an instrument of reflective leadership, not merely an administrative tool.

Abstract

The shifting educational paradigm demands that teachers possess the competencies to create meaningful learning. Transforming teacher competencies is a key factor in facing the challenges of an adaptive, technology-based, and character-building curriculum. This study aims to map teacher competencies in creating meaningful learning based on four main dimensions: pedagogical, professional, social, and personality, as well as identifying strengths and areas that need improvement. A quantitative approach was used with a survey design. The study population was teachers at SDN 16 Bengkulu Selatan. The sample was taken using total sampling, comprising all teachers at the school. The instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire with 46 statements. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the average score for each indicator. The results showed that the majority of indicators were in the good to excellent category, with the highest scores for mastery of learning theory, use of technology, and teacher role models. The lowest scores were found for teacher involvement in village activities and acceptance of peer feedback. Teachers at this school already possess sufficient competencies to create meaningful learning, although social engagement and openness to feedback still require strengthening. These findings form the basis for a more holistic professional development program. This research contributes by integrating four dimensions of teacher competency into a single evaluation framework that can be applied in other schools to comprehensively map the quality of meaningful learning

Abstract

Mindful parenting is increasingly being researched as a protective factor for the development of children's emotion regulation during early childhood, a critical period for establishing the neurobiological and psychosocial foundations of selfcontrol. This article aims to synthesize current empirical evidence on the relationship between mindful parenting and early childhood emotion regulation through a systematic literature review approach following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A search of Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, ProQuest, and Google Scholar databases for articles published in the past five years yielded twentyfive articles that met the inclusion criteria after identification, screening, and eligibility assessment. The synthesis results indicate that mindful parenting contributes to children's emotion regulation through three main pathways: increased parental sensitivity and responsiveness, decreased parenting stress and depressive symptoms, and strengthened parentchild relationship quality. Contextual factors such as paternal involvement, household turmoil, and socioeconomic status also moderate these relationships. The novelty of this article lies in the integrated mapping of mediationmoderation mechanisms across Western and Asian cultures, which has not been widely integrated in previous reviews. These findings provide important implications for the development of mindfulnessbased intervention programs to support family mental health and early childhood emotional development.
