Abstract

Science education in the 21st century including biology learning at the level of Junior High School requires a more contextual implementation. Environmental learning topics such as green consumerism is a contextual topic in biology learning. Students must have high Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) to participate in protecting the environment. The purpose of this study was to measure the PEB of students at the 7th-grade level. The research method used descriptive with survey data collection techniques. The study was conducted in November-December 2018 at State Junior High School 1 South Tambun, West Java, Indonesia. A total sample of 135 students in 7th grade was selected by simple random sampling. The results showed there were six PEB indicators based on Green Consumerism that were Energy Conservation (86.37), Transportation (56.67), Waste Avoidance (53.04), Daily Consumption (64.44), Recycling (58.89), Social Behavior (60.54). Among the six indicators, only energy conservation was categorized as very high, while the others are categorized as moderate. This study concluded that PEB students must be improved by various models, methods, and media in biology learning.Keywords: Environmental learning, green consumerism, pro-environmental behavior

Abstract

Masker merupakan barang wajib dimiliki hampir semua orang selama masa pandemi COVID-19 bahkan sebaiknya diganti setiap 4 jam pemakaian, hasilnya tentu timbulan sampah. Kegiatan ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas peserta tentang pengelolaan sampah masker. Bentuk kegiatan berupa diskusi virtual menghadirkan satu narasumber dengan melibatkan tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan SMKN 1 Jakarta sebagai khalayak sasaran. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan sebanyak 26 orang. Partisipasi peserta berupa keikutsertaan mengikuti sesi berbagi dan mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan sebagai bahan diskusi. Pertanyaan yang diajukan awalnya fokus pada perilaku pengelolaan sampah masker dan kemudian berkembang ke arah karakteristik virus dan tes COVID-19. Kegiatan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan perluasan khalayak sasaran mengingat kompleksnya permasalahan sampah masker dan pengetahuan umum tentang karakteristik virus.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi abad 21 memerlukan berbagai inovasi terkait dengan pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis video 3D hologram materi sistem imun sehingga menjadi media pembelajaran biologi bagi siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D), dengan objek penelitian merupakan video 3D hologram dengan materi sistem imun dan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 dosen ahli media, 2 dosen ahli materi dan 10 guru biologi yang dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari hingga September 2020. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dissiminate). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video 3D hologram materi sistem imun tergolong pada kategori sangat layak. Hal ini didasarkan pada persentase rata-rata dari ahli media 88%, ahli materi 94,67% dan guru 87,80%. media video 3D hologram mendapat respon positif dari guru biologi dan diharapkan dapat menjadi media untuk siswa SMA. Video 3D hologram ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS dikarenakan berisi berbagai konten yang menjadikan siswa lebih terlatih dalam melakukan analisis, evaluasi, dan menciptakan solusi permasalahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah video 3D yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran biologi dan berpotensi meningkatkan HOTS.

Abstract

The development of innovative learning media is an alternative to solving problems that occur in the learning process, especially for students in biology learning. For this reason, an innovation in learning is needed to increase students' knowledge about environmental disasters and the handling of various types of environmental disasters through environmental disaster comics. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with a one group pretest - posttest research design. The subjects in this study were class VII students of MTs Ar-Ridho Sentul. The research instrument used was in the form of multiple-choice questions and questionnaire sheets. Data analysis techniques include assessing creative thinking skills which are measured using the N-Gain formula. The results of the data analysis showed that the students' knowledge increased significantly. This indicates that project-based learning comic-based learning media is able to increase students' knowledge. In addition, the response of teachers and students also gave positive results that learning media in the form of comic project based learning can help increase knowledge of environmental disaster mitigation.

Abstract

needs to be learned by elementary school students. The problem of this drought disaster has an impact on the sustainability of people's lives, including impacting elementary school students. Capabilities such as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) which are implemented in the form of an attitude of caring for the environment need to be developed. The purpose of this study was to describe HOTS scores and environmental care attitudes of elementary school students on the topic of drought and environmental care attitudes. The results of this study indicate that students' HOTS scores are still in the low category (27.70). As for the attitude of caring for the environment is in the moderate category (69.12). Environmental education needs to be developed to increase HOTS and environmental care attitudes related to drought disasters which have an impact on public health. The conclusion of this study is that students' HOTS scores are still in the low category and environmental care attitudes are still in the moderate category.

Abstract

Solving natural disaster problems, especially floods, requires community participation. One of the efforts that can be done is by implementing the environmental supplement book of flood disasters based on innovation learning model for natural science and environmental learning (ILMIZI). The purpose of this research was to implement a supplementary book to improve university students’ higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and pro-environmental behavior (PEB). This was an experiment method consisting of experimental class and control class. The samples were 115 university students with 60 university students in experimental class and 55 university students in control class. The data analysis was a t-test that aims to test the significance of the difference in the mean HOTS and PEB scores for the experimental class and the control class. In addition to the t-test, descriptive analysis was also carried out by comparing the HOTS and PEB scores between the experimental class and the control class. The results of this study indicated that the t-test results were significant, which means that supplement books could increase HOTS and PEB of university students. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that university students were still weak in flood mitigation efforts related to the provision of disaster evacuation tools. In an effort to prevent disasters, it was necessary to innovate environmental learning to support sustainability. A conclusion can be drawn that the use of supplementary books can increase university students’ HOTS and PEB.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terkait Pendidikan lingkungan hidup pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memerlukan inovasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model SRM untuk Pendidikan lingkungan hidup pada mahasiswa PAUD agar HOTS mengalami peningkatan. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa PAUD di Jakarta Timur. Sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa PAUD dengan status aktif (bukan cuti). Sampel dipilih secara acak dengan Teknik sampling random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model SRM memiliki kategori valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Model SRM sebagai sebuah solusi memberikan sebuah pandangan tentang betapa pentingnya kemampuan mahasiswa pada abad 21 yang harus dikembangkan dalam hal ini berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif. Kemampuan ini perlu dilatih agar mahasiswa memiliki keampuan dalam memcahkan masalah yang sedang dihadapi saat ini

Abstract: Student worksheets become a tool to be able to develop student abilities,including in terms of English and analyzing environmental problems. One thingthat can be developed is learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)and the project based learning (PjBL) model. The purpose of this research is todevelop student worksheets based on HOTS and PjBL abilities. The method usedwas the research and development method. The results of this research indicate thatstudent worksheets based on HOTS and PjBL in English and environmentaleducation lectures have a very valid category so they are suitable for use in learning.The worksheets developed are in English and contain the topic of environmentaleducation. Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan hidup adalah sebuah upaya pelestarian lingkungan melalui jalur Pendidikan. Mahasiswa pada program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) harus dibekali dengan wawasan terkait lingkungan hidup agar bisa memberikan edukasi yang cukup kepada siswa. Pengembangan model diperlukan dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas Pendidikan lingkungan hidup pada mahasiswa PGSD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model analyzing, mapping, dan developing (Anmadev) yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahapan model Anmadev ini bisa dilaksanakan dengan menitikberatkan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil validasi model pembelajaran Anmadev menunjukkan skor 3.40 dan 3.30 yang dapat diartikan bahwa model yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Anmadev layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa PGSD.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the relationship between environmental awareness and responsible environmental behavior of students and other factors that influence the environmentally responsible behavior of students. Retrieval of quantitative data using a questionnaire with a rating scale for variables X and Y. Analysis of quantitative data with a prerequisite test in the form of a normality test using the kolmogorov-smirnov test and a homogeneity test using a levene statistic. Testing the data hypothesis using the correlation test with the product moment pearson formula with SPSS 26. Qualitative research data with interviews. Qualitative data analysis by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between environmental awareness and environmentally responsible behavior with the regression equation Ŷ = 99.939 + 0.161x with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.195 and r2 of 3.80%. The price of r2 means that 3.80% of responsible environmental behavior is influenced by environmental awareness, while 96,20% are influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the interview, the factors that can influence environmentally responsible behavior are family, habits, environment (friendship and school environment) and information. Biology education is important to be applied so that students care about the environment.
