Abstract

This research is entitled Application of the Empty Chair Technique in Reducing Toxic Relationships (Case Study of Client "P" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation). A person experiencing a toxic relationship can be seen from excessive suspicion, likes to bring up mistakes, is always looked down upon with all his shortcomings, has poor communication, has a feeling of not wanting to be defeated, is always used as an outlet for anger, there are threats and relationships. The aim of this research is first, to find out the description of the toxic relationship of client "P' at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. Second, to find out the application of the empty chair technique in reducing toxic relations with client "P" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. In this research, the author used field research, a qualitative approach, and used a case study research method. The subject of this research is client "P'. The tools for collecting data in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Research results, 1) client "P''s household is classified as a toxic relationship. Where "P" clients often feel excessively suspicious, always bring up their partner's mistakes, don't want to be defeated, have poor communication, always vent their anger at their partner, there are threats in the relationship. 2) The application of the empty chair technique consists of 3 stages. Initial stage, implementation stage and termination stage. The results of applying the empty chair technique enable client "P" to build a good relationship with their partner.

Abstract

Basically, adjustment involves individuals and their environment, this is also the case with inmates, this is because inmates who have just entered are required to be able to adapt to environmental conditions, individuals, and the rules that apply in prison. According to Picken, new inmates experience higher levels of stress. Therefore, to help solve adjustment problems for inmates in prison, researchers applied assertive adaptive techniques with group counseling services. Therefore, the researcher chose the title "Application of Group Counseling with Assertive Adaptive Techniques to Overcome Self-Adjustment". This research was carried out at the Class IIA Palembang Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas Perempuan). The aim of this research is to find out the description of the application of group counseling using assertive adaptive techniques and to find out the description of the self-adjustment of female inmates after implementing group counseling with assertive adaptive techniques. Researchers use qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation, and use data analysis techniques such as data reduction, namely selecting data that is not useful then presenting the data that has been collected and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that group counseling using the assertive adaptive technique was successfully applied to the inmates and after implementing group counseling with the assertive adaptive technique, some of the inmates were able to slowly interact and adapt themselves to new people. However, it is true that some of the inmates only follow and close themselves off from new people and are not yet able to adapt.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Mau’izatul Hasanah method in Islamic counseling guidance as a preventive effort against smoking behavior among students (santri). This research employed a qualitative, field-based design conducted at Darul Ulumissyar’iyyah Islamic Boarding School, Banyuasin Regency, from August to September 2024. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling, involving five students. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that smoking behavior among students is influenced by environmental factors, curiosity, peer pressure, and low health literacy. The implementation of the Mau’izatul Hasanah method proved effective in increasing students’ awareness, self-control, and understanding of the negative impacts of smoking from both health and spiritual perspectives. This approach integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual values, resulting in deeper and more sustainable behavioral change. This study contributes to the development of Islamic counseling guidance based on religious values as a preventive strategy against smoking behavior among adolescents.

Abstract

Di perusahaan skala besar seperti PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri), inefektivitas komunikasi internal dapat menyebabkan kesalahpahaman, duplikat pekerjaan, dan penundaan pengambilan keputusan strategis.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat seberapa efektif komunikasi internal dari sudut pandang karyawan, dengan penekanan khusus pada proses yang dilakukan Divisi Komunikasi dan Korporat.  Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi interpretatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi; data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi internal dinilai cukup efektif dalam kejelasan pesan formal, berdampak positif pada semangat kerja dan rasa kepemilikan karyawan.  Namun, ditemukan hambatan signifikan pada koordinasi lintas bagian dan birokrasi, yang memperlambat respons dan menyebabkan inkonsistensi dalam tindak lanjut terhadap umpan balik karyawan. Disimpulkan bahwa sistem komunikasi formal Pusri sudah baik; namun, untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, komunikasi internal perlu dipercepat, dikoordinasikan, dan dikurangi birokrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Wafa method by providing rewards in learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an at SMP IT Insan Mandiri Cendekia Palembang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the Wafa method is applied through the Quantum Teaching model with the TANDUR (Grow, Natural, Natural, Demonstrate, Repeat, Celebrate) approach. The obstacles faced include the adaptation of new students who are not familiar with the Wafa method, limited parental involvement, inequality in teacher competence, lack of teacher training at the tasnif level, and not optimal time management. The results of the study show that the Wafa method has a positive impact on improving the quality of student memorization, especially in the memorization of Juz 30 and other juz. This method increases student motivation, discipline, and responsibility. Rewarding support and involvement of teachers and parents is essential. The Wafa method is worthy of being maintained and developed as an effective tahfidz learning strategy.

Abstract

The concept of mental health in adolescents is crucial to understand, particularly from an Islamic perspective. Adolescents are vulnerable to identity crises; therefore, Islamic views on mental health can serve as a foundation for shaping their thoughts and behavior. This study aims to raise awareness among adolescents regarding how to maintain mental well-being and understand the developmental changes they experience, by exploring patterns of Islamic education grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. This research employs a library research approach, with data collected from journals, books, newspapers, online sources, and other relevant references. The findings indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, mentally healthy adolescents are those who are able to practice worship in accordance with Islamic teachings, face various life challenges, adapt to new situations, build positive relationships with their surroundings, and strengthen their relationship with God.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how coaches and senior female chess players at Percasi Palembang communicate in building their competitive mentality. Communication between coaches and athletes is very important in the coaching process because this sport requires psychological endurance and strategic thinking skills. Through observation and interviews with coaches and female athletes, this study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study show that two main communication patterns are used in coaching: directive and collaborative patterns. The directive pattern is used to provide technical instructions, analyze positions, assess strategies, and provide immediate corrections to athletes' mistakes during training. Meanwhile, the collaborative pattern emerges through two-way discussions, openness, empathy, emotional support, and the development of psychological closeness; these two patterns make athletes feel more comfortable in expressing their mental and strategic obstacles. This boosts athletes' confidence, mental resilience, and competitive focus. With good communication, training becomes more enjoyable, athletes are more involved in strategy analysis, and they are better prepared for the pressure of competition. The results of this study show that the quality of the emotional and intellectual relationship between coaches and athletes is an important foundation for building mental preparedness for competition. Therefore, to support the competitive performance of chess players, coaches must improve their interpersonal communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social media in the marketing strategy of subsidized housing using a qualitative descriptive approach in the Cendana Cluster by Grand Citra Mandiri. Using qualitative methods, this study describes how social media platforms, such as Facebook, are used to optimize the marketing of subsidized housing targeted at low-income households. Social media is utilized to disseminate information, increase interaction with potential buyers, and effectively expand market reach. The results show that marketing communication strategies through social media can increase consumer trust, accelerate the sales process, and reduce promotional costs. The use of visual content, segmented advertising, and direct interaction significantly contributed to increasing interest in purchasing subsidized housing in the Cendana Cluster. In conclusion, social media plays a strategic role in supporting the efficient and effective marketing of subsidized housing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam strategi pemasaran rumah subsidi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif pada Cluster Cendana By Grand Citra Mandiri. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana media sosial seperti Facebook yang digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan pemasaran rumah subsidi yang ditujukan bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan UMR. Media sosial dimanfaatkan untuk menyebarkan informasi, meningkatkan interaksi dengan calon pembeli, dan memperluas jangkauan pasar secara efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi pemasaran melalui media sosial mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen, mempercepat proses penjualan, dan menekan biaya promosi. Penggunaan konten visual, iklan tersegmentasi, serta interaksi langsung memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat beli rumah subsidi di Cluster Cendana. Kesimpulannya, media sosial berperan strategis dalam mendukung pemasaran rumah subsidi secara efisien dan efektif. Abstract

This study examines dawah strategies through education based on Surah An-Nahl (16:125), which emphasizes three main methods: wisdom (hikmah), good advice (mau‘izhah hasanah), and dialogue in the best manner (mujadalah billati hiya ahsan). A qualitative approach with a literature study method was employed, with primary data sourced from the Qur'an and its interpretations, and secondary data from recent academic literature from 2021 to 2025. The research population includes dawah and Islamic education literature, with a purposive sample considering the challenges of modern digitalization. Content analysis techniques were applied to interpret meanings in the context of education. The results indicate that Qur'anic dawah methods are highly relevant and aligned with effective Islamic education practices, emphasizing wisdom in teaching, moral exemplification, and critical dialogue. The study concludes that integrating these values into education can support the continuity of dawah in the modern era.
