Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has transformed patterns of social interaction, including activities related to Islamic da’wah (religious outreach). Digital spaces such as social media, video platforms, and instant messaging applications have become new mediums for disseminating Islamic values, particularly among university students. However, digital da’wah also faces various challenges, including low levels of digital religious literacy, the spread of religious hoaxes, radical content, and the lack of engaging and educational communication strategies. This study aims to identify the problems of Islamic da’wah in the digital era, analyze the contributing factors, and formulate strategies to strengthen Islamic da’wah in the digital space for students of Educational Administration at FIP UPI. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings are expected to provide recommendations for effective, adaptive, and relevant digital da’wah strategies aligned with the characteristics of students as digital natives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning culture of students during Ramadan and analyze the meaning of learning activities as part of worship in the perspective of Islamic values. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation and interviews with students who continue to attend lectures during Ramadan. The results show that Ramadan affects students' learning rhythms, particularly in the form of changes in sleep patterns, decreased energy, and challenges with concentration during daytime lectures. These conditions pose various academic challenges, but students are able to adapt through time management strategies, gradual task completion, and prioritization based on deadlines. In addition, learning activities are interpreted as a form of worship when based on sincere intentions and an orientation to seek knowledge as part of moral and spiritual responsibility. The values of patience, discipline, trustworthiness, and self-control are internalized in learning practices during Ramadan, so that the learning process is not only understood as an academic obligation, but also as a means of strengthening students' spirituality and character.

Abstract

Professional ethics in the accounting profession are crucial for accountants in managing financial matters to prevent unethical actions in the preparation and presentation of financial statements. However, in practice, many accountants still violate professional ethics due to individual materialistic motives, which are not in accordance with Islamic provisions and sharia principles. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of awareness among Accounting students based on Islamic values as contained in Q.S. Al-Baqarah (2): 282–284 and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which are derived from the Al-Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive statistics with a quantitative approach to examine the level of students’ awareness of accounting professional ethics based on Islamic sharia, using a closed-ended questionnaire as the instrument. The instrument testing results indicate that the data are valid and reliable. Statistical results show that students have a high level of awareness of professional ethics. This provides empirical evidence that the inclusion of ethical content in accounting education significantly influences the moral development of students.

Abstract

This study examines the role of halal tourism in enhancing destination competitiveness and strengthening the Islamic economy within the tourism sector. This research employs a systematic literature review to synthesize findings from relevant academic sources. The results indicate that halal tourism contributes significantly to destination competitiveness by increasing tourist arrivals and encouraging product diversification. In addition, it supports the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and promotes local economic growth through a multiplier effect. Halal tourism also fosters ethical business practices and sustainable tourism development aligned with Islamic principles. However, its implementation faces key challenges, including limited infrastructure, complex halal certification procedures, and perceptions of exclusivity among non-Muslim tourists. Therefore, strategic efforts are required to improve Muslim-friendly infrastructure, streamline certification processes, strengthen MSME capacity through training and digitalization, and adopt inclusive branding strategies. These measures are expected to enhance the competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability of halal tourism destinations in the global market.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki tingkat keberagaman tradisi, adat istiadat, dan agama yang sangat tinggi. Islam sebagai agama mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia telah berkembang melalui proses adaptasi dengan kebudayaan lokal yang hidup dan berkembang di tengah masyarakat. Proses adaptasi tersebut melahirkan berbagai tradisi keagamaan yang selaras dengan ajaran Islam, sehingga masih tetap dilaksanakan dan dilestarikan hingga saat ini. Dengan begitu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji relasi antara ajaran Islam dan budaya lokal pada tradisi Tahlilan dalam masyarakat Indonesia, serta menelaah bagaimana proses akulturasi tersebut membentuk identitas keislaman yang khas. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam artikel ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode literature review (kajian pustaka), melalui penelusuran dan analisis kritis terhadap artikel jurnal nasional, buku-buku akademik, serta publikasi ilmiah relevan yang berkaitan dengan agama Islam, budaya lokal, serta tradisi keagamaan masyarakat Indonesia. Secara garis besar, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Tahlilan dimaknai sebagai sarana ibadah yang memiliki dimensi sosial, budaya, dan psikologis yang kuat. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan pandangan dalam memahami dasar hukum dan sumber ajaran Islam, tradisi Tahlilan di Indonesia dapat disesuaikan dengan dinamika sosial tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai pokok ajaran Islam, sekaligus membentuk karakter Islam yang moderat, toleran, dan berakar kuat pada budaya bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan peradaban di era modern yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi digital memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar dalam kehidupan umat Islam, terutama pada perubahan bentuk mushaf Al-Qur’an dari versi cetak ke platform digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Al-Qur’an digital sebagai media yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas dan intensitas ibadah di tengah mobilitas masyarakat yang semakin tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, serta didukung oleh teknik wawancara untuk menggali pengalaman pengguna secara lebih mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi Al-Qur’an memberikan dampak positif, terutama dalam hal kemudahan akses yang tidak terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu, sehingga memungkinkan umat Islam tetap dapat berinteraksi dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an di tengah kesibukan sehari-hari. Fitur-fitur yang tersedia seperti terjemahan, tajwid, tafsir, dan audio murottal dinilai cukup membantu dalam meningkatkan pemahaman serta mendukung proses menghafal Al-Qur’an secara lebih fleksibel. Namun demikian, penggunaan Al-Qur’an digital juga menghadirkan tantangan berupa distraksi dari perangkat digital. Meski begitu, sebagian pengguna mampu menyikapinya dengan baik melalui penerapan literasi digital religius, seperti mengaktifkan mode fokus dan menjaga niat saat beribadah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknologi digital dapat menjadi sarana yang mendukung praktik spiritual umat Islam secara lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan, serta tetap relevan dalam membantu memperkuat hubungan manusia dengan Al-Qur’an di era modern.

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah dakwah Islam dari pendekatan konvensional menjadi praktik digital yang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam mengembangkan dan menyebarkan nilai-nilai Islam moderat di kalangan generasi muda, dengan mengkaji pengaruh algoritma, pergeseran otoritas keagamaan, dan komodifikasi konten religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur terhadap 17 artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang tahun 2021–2026 yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform seperti Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, dan X berfungsi sebagai ekosistem yang efektif dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai moderasi (wasathiyyah), toleransi, dan inklusivitas. Namun, sistem berbasis algoritma cenderung memprioritaskan konten yang viral dan emosional dibandingkan pesan keagamaan yang substantif, sehingga berpotensi mengurangi kedalaman pemahaman. Selain itu, pergeseran otoritas keagamaan dari ulama tradisional ke influencer digital menimbulkan kekhawatiran terkait kredibilitas. Praktik monetisasi dan personal branding juga menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan komodifikasi konten keagamaan di ruang digital. Oleh karena itu, penguatan literasi digital keagamaan serta integrasi antara otoritas keilmuan dan kompetensi digital menjadi hal yang penting untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dakwah Islam moderat di era digital.

Abstract

AbstrakAbad 21 merupakan abad globalisasi, artinya kehidupan manusia pada abad ini mengalami perubahan yang fundamental dan berbeda dengan tata kehidupan dalam abad sebelumnya. Perguruan Tinggi merupakan salah satu jenjang pendidikan yang menghadapi tantangan pada abad ini yaitu daya saing, kualifikasi dan kompetensi dosen, peningkatan infrastruktur pendidikan, dan technology readiness. Selain itu timbul juga permasalahan yaitu meningkatnya kasus tawuran antar pelajar dan mahasiswa, mabuk-mabukan, narkoba, kasus pemerasan hingga kekerasan diantara pelajar dan mahasiswa, tingginya tingkat kepercayaan dosen kepada mahasiswa untuk bisa mengurus dirinya sendiri yang seringkali disalahgunakan serta plagiasi karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, pada abad ini diperlukan pembangunan insan berkarakter dan bermartabat yakni dapat mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam seluruh kegiatan di perguruan tinggi. STIT Qurrota A’yun adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi yang berusaha membangun kampus yang religius, berkarakter dan bermartabat. Salah satu strategi yang dilakukan oleh STIT Qurrota A’yun adalah dengan kebijakan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) sebagai pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi. PKn merupakan mata kuliah yang memfokuskan pada pembentukan warga negara yang memahami dan mampu melaksanakan hak serta kewajibannya untuk menjadi warga negara yang berkarakter seperti yang diamanatkan oleh Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Pengintegrasian PKn sebagai pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi ini dilakukan dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam perencanaan (silabus dan RPP), bahan ajar dan media, implementasi di kelas, penilaian, monitoring, dan evaluasi kegiatan secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Pendidikan Karakter, Perguruan TinggiAbstract The 21st century is a century of globalization, meaning that human life in this century underwent fundamental changes and is different from the order of life in the previous century. Higher Education is one of the levels of education that faces challenges in this century, namely competitiveness, qualifications and competence of lecturers, improvement of educational infrastructure, and technology readiness. Besides, problems also arise, namely increased cases of brawls between students and students, drinking, drugs, cases of extortion to violence between students and students, the high level of lecturer trust in students to be able to take care of themselves that is often misused and plagiarism of scientific work. Therefore, in this century, it is necessary to build character and dignified human beings that can integrate character education in all activities in higher education. STIT Qurrota A’yun is one of the tertiary institutions that strive to build a religious, character and dignified campus. One of the strategies carried out by STIT Qurrota A’yun is with the Civic Education (PKn) policy as character education in tertiary institutions. Civic is a course that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and can carry out their rights and obligations to become citizens of character as mandated by the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Integrating Civic Education as character education in these tertiary institutions can be done by incorporating character values in planning (syllabus and lesson plans), teaching materials and media, implementation in class, assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of overall activities.Keywords: Civic Education, Character Education, College

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui blended learning di sekolah menengah pertama. SMP IT Matahati merupakan salah satu sekolah yang telah berupaya untuk menanamkan pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui blended learning untuk mengatasi permasalahan dari pembelajaran secara daring. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif analisis. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, 1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui blended learning di SMP IT Matahati telah disiapkan dalam silabus dan RPP yang telah dimodifikasi, 2) proses pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui blended learning di SMP IT Matahati yaitu proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah menggunakan metode, media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar yang beragam, mengintegrasikan karakter mandiri dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui raport evaluasi sikap/karakter yang berisi deskripsi penilaian sikap spiritual dan sosial selama satu semester, 3) Hasil pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui blended learning di SMP IT Matahati yaitu terjadi perubahan kemandirian belajar dan kemandirian dalam perilaku sehari-hari yaitu siswa sudah menunjukkan tidak bergantung terhadap orang lain, memiliki kepercayaan diri, berperilaku disiplin, memiliki rasa tanggung jawab, berperilaku berdasarkan inisiatif sendiri, dan dapat melakukan kontrol diri.Kata Kunci: Karakter Mandiri, Blended Learning, Sekolah Menengah Pertama ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out the implementation of independent character education through blended learning in junior high schools. SMP IT Matahati is one of schools that instill the independent character education through blended learning to solve problems of online learning. This research used descriptive analysis method. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and verification/drawing conclusions. Results of this study are: 1) the planning of independent character education through blended learning at SMP IT Matahati has been prepared well in the modified syllabus and lesson plans, 2) the implementation process of independent character education through blended learning at SMP IT Matahati i.e. the learning process has implemented the various methods, learning media, and learning resources; integrated the independent character in learning activities as well; also evaluation of independent character education with an attitude/character evaluation report card containing the description of spiritual and social attitudes assessment for one semester, 3) the results of independent character education through blended learning at SMP IT Matahati i.e. changes in independent learning and in daily behavior, students shown that they are not dependent on others, have self-confidence, behave in a disciplined manner, have a sense of responsibility, behave based on their own initiative, and can control themselves.Keywords: Independent Character, Blended Learning, Junior High School

Religious moderation is an increasingly pressing national priority in Indonesia. However, campus mosque programs, despite their strategic position as co-curricular development spaces in higher education, have not been systematically designed based on measurable moderation indicators. This study aims to: describe the operational model of campus mosque revitalization in promoting religious moderation among students; and assess the strengths and weaknesses of this model in relation to the objectives of religious moderation. A qualitative cross-sectional case study was conducted at five purposively selected campus mosques in West Java: Al-Furqon Mosque (UPI), Salman Mosque (ITB), Ikomah Mosque (UIN Sunan Gunung Djati), Agung Mosque (UNPAD), and Ukhuwah Islamiyah Mosque (UI). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, contextual observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The revitalization of campus mosques in the five locations was implemented through three integrated dimensions of worship, education, and welfare with a cadre-based and inclusive management system. Its main strengths are: holistic development, inclusive governance, cadre sustainability, and contextual responsiveness. However, weaknesses remain: the lack of indicator-based design, standard operating procedures, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, minimal interfaith literacy, and formal integration with general and character education. In conclusion, campus mosques have a strong foundation for religious moderation, but require a more structured, indicator-based, and institutionalized revitalization model to ensure measurable and sustainable impact.
