Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education management as a solution for developing State Police School Students’ Bhayangkara character philosophy in the society 5.0 era at West Java State Police School. This research applied a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this research involved 24 West Java State Police School Students, 1 instructor, and 1 Commander. The data collection technique was observation, document analyses, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique referred to interactive model data analysis, while the data validity technique is triangulation. The findings showed that: 1) character education and development process for West Java State Police School students was conducted through a series of sequential activities. These stages include material delivery, simulation, practice, formation of small groups, monitoring, and evaluation. 2) the character education program at West Java State Police School has several positive outcomes: a) Increased discipline and accountability. b) Improved communication and teamwork abilities. c)Enhanced decision-making capacity. d) Development of a Bhayangkara personality. The character education program helps students internalize the values and traits of the National Police. They are expected to exhibit commendable attitudes, such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and good ethics.

Abstract

lembaga pendidikan atau lembaga pendidikan agama, tetapi juga harus mampu menunjukkan kelayakannya sebagai lembaga ekonomi bagi kesejahteraan anak didiknya. Jika pesantren mampu melakukan program kewirausahaan, ekonomi lokal akan menguat. Kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kewirausahaan menjadi faktor pendorong peningkatan perekonomian melalui pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program kewirausahaan sayur di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihya Lembang dalam upaya meningkatkan perekonomian sekolah. Konsep yang digunakan adalah teori pondok pesantren dan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan satu pengurus pondok pesantren, satu guru, dan tiga santri. Lokasi penelitian adalah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihya Lembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, implementasi kewirausahaan telah berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari penjualan sayuran secara internasional, yang dapat membantu pesantren meningkatkan ekonomi mereka. Selain itu, keberhasilan pelaksanaan ini tidak terlepas dari variabel-variabel yang mendorong kegiatan ini, antara lain keinginan belajar siswa dan motivasi guru. Selain itu, efektivitas pelaksanaannya tergantung pada berbagai unsur lingkungan, yang terpenting adalah keinginan siswa untuk belajar dan motivasi dari guru.

Abstract

Karang Taruna is a forum for teenagers to be able to empower the community in various fields including the economy, and of course every family in a community must have a way to generate a source of livelihood in the form of money. However, with the lack of understanding of optimizing technology from the community, there must be a role for Karang Taruna in this problem, one of which is by helping the promotion of trade products through the Gobiz application that is connected to the internet. The purpose of this study is to describe how the role of Karang Taruna in increasing MSME income through the Gobiz application. The theory used is the theory of empowerment and community education training. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique was through observation and interviews, with one respondent being a youth youth coach, one youth organization administrator and two MSME actors. The main reason for using this instrument is to observe the problems faced by MSME actors and also related to the role of Karang Taruna in increasing MSME income through the Gobiz application in Bandasari Village, Perum Parken Blok D. The conclusion of this research is the role played by the Youth Organization Management. in increasing MSME income through the Gobiz application

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis andragogi di SMA Terbuka di Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran andragogi di SMA Terbuka memerlukan perencanaan yang matang, persiapan mental siswa, penguatan dan motivasi, serta proses pengkondisian. Namun, kesulitan seperti instruksi yang berpusat pada guru dan partisipasi siswa yang minimal tetap ada. Selain itu, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi pengajaran yang efektif, evaluasi berkelanjutan, dan upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang tantangan dan solusi potensial untuk menerapkan andragogi dalam pengaturan pendidikan non-tradisional, sehingga memberikan praktisi pendidikan dan pembuat kebijakan wawasan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di lembaga serupa.Abstract:  The purpose of the study was to examine the implementation of andragogy-based learning approaches in Open High School in Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection used includes interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis used is a triangulation technique. The findings indicate that the implementation of andragogy learning in the Open High School requires meticulous planning, mental preparation of students, reinforcement and motivation, and a conditioning process. However, difficulties such as teacher-centered instruction and minimal student participation persist. Additionally, the study emphasizes the significance of effective teaching strategies, ongoing evaluation, and efforts to enhance learning outcomes. These findings contribute to a better comprehension of the challenges and potential solutions to implementing andragogy in non-traditional educational settings, thereby providing educational practitioners and policymakers with insights to improve the quality of education in similar institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan penilaian kebutuhan pelatihan terkait dengan pengelolaan uang keluarga berpenghasilan rendah di Bandung, Indonesia. Mengadopsi pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tujuh informan, menawarkan wawasan yang kaya tentang perilaku dan tantangan keuangan mereka. Analisis data, yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis tematik, menyoroti beberapa pola dan temuan utama. Ketidakpuasan yang nyata dengan praktik keuangan saat ini muncul, semakin diperkuat oleh sumber daya yang terbatas dan meningkatnya biaya hidup. Temuan penelitian mencakup bahwa mayoritas responden tidak memiliki perencanaan keuangan terstruktur, sering gagal dalam pengambilan keputusan spontan dan jangka pendek. Meskipun strategi ini mungkin menawarkan solusi segera, strategi ini menimbulkan potensi risiko keuangan jangka panjang. Pengakuan bulat tentang kesenjangan dalam literasi keuangan juga terbukti, menunjukkan kekosongan pendidikan yang lebih luas dalam segmen ini. Kesulitan keuangan reguler, terutama menjelang akhir bulan, dan kecenderungan pinjaman keluarga adalah tema yang berulang. Kecenderungan kuat terhadap program pelatihan literasi keuangan muncul, menekankan kesadaran akut akan kekurangan pengetahuan mereka. Faktor budaya, terutama reservasi sosial tentang utang, juga disorot, menunjukkan pengaruh yang lebih dalam pada perilaku keuangan. Singkatnya, wawasan ini menggarisbawahi kebutuhan kritis akan program pendidikan keuangan yang disesuaikan dan peka budaya, menangani kebutuhan pelatihan khusus keluarga berpenghasilan rendah Bandung, untuk mendorong kesejahteraan finansial berkelanjutan mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan workshop pembuatan buku digital modul ajar dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik PAUD nonformal. Penelitian ini merupakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Pre-Eksperimental sedangkan desain penelitiannya One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling, sampel terpilih 30 pendidik PAUD nonformal di Kecamatan Bandung Wetan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan pengisian angket (kuisioner) pretest-postest atau desain 2 sample dependent. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial uji T. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat peningkatan kompetensi pedagogic pendidik PAUD nonformal di kecamatan Bandung Wetan setelah dilakukan workshop pembuatan buku digital modul ajar. Implikasi hasil penelitian  bahwa  penyusunan modul ajar dalam bentuk  buku digital  perlu dikembangkan sebagai  acuan  media sumber  bagi pendidik nonformal.

Abstract

This research aims to describe vocational service programs, especially at SMKN 1 Garut, as innovative community empowerment. This study used a case study method with a qualitative approach. This case study was conducted through interviews with five informants, non-participant observation, and document study. The collected data were analyzed using inductive analysis. The results showed that the vocational high school community service programs serve as innovative community empowerment programs. This case study found that the participation of vocational schools (SMK) in community service activities catalyzes the fostering of more robust connections between educational institutions and their local communities. Forms of SMK participation in community service activities cover ten expertise skills which serve as the foundation for the school's community empowerment initiatives, where community members are engaged and empowered through various programs and activities. The alignment of expertise competencies with community needs is crucial to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of the programs. Some programs, such as Logistics Management and Renewable Energy Engineering, have encountered resistance due to perceived irrelevance to community skill development. The research recommends a comprehensive evaluation of the specific needs within the local area for an effective and well-developed implementation of the community program.

Abstract

This study investigates the efforts made by Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) institutions in kecamatan Sukasari, Bandung, to enhance the digital literacy of early childhood educators. Employing a qualitative approach and case study method, the research involved observations, documents study and in-depth interviews with representatives from four ECCE institutions. Data analysis was conducted through thematic analysis, a systematic method for identifying, analyzing, and reporting patterns within the data. The results indicate positive outcomes, including enhanced teaching methods, increased creativity and resourcefulness, improved student engagement and comprehension, and educators' adaptability to technological changes. This study contributes new knowledge to the field by highlighting comprehensive and dynamic strategies employed by ECCE institutions to enhance teachers' digital literacy. The findings underscore the necessity of a holistic, supportive, and adaptive approach to digital literacy in early childhood education, aligning with current research trends in the field.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation process, impact of digital-based learning media training on Tahfiz teachers' digital literacy and identified factors influencing the success or limitations of these programs. Utilizing a descriptive method, the study encompassed observations, interviews, and document analysis involving five Tahfiz teachers, a training manager, and a school administrator. The data analysis procedure followed the Miles and Huberman model, comprising three key stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, underpinned by triangulation for validity. The findings revealed that the training enhanced teachers' access to digital resources, flexibility in learning, and provided personalized, interactive learning experiences. However, challenges like limited technology access, lack of technical skills, resistance to change, and inadequate resources tailored to Islamic values were notable. The study concludes that comprehensive training in digital literacy is crucial for Tahfiz teachers to effectively integrate technology into their teaching. The study contributes to the discourse on technology integration in religious education, offering insights for policy and practice in Tahfiz education.

Abstract

This study investigates the strategies educational supervisors employ to enhance the managerial competence of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) principals in the digital era. A qualitative case study was conducted in Bandung City, with 7 educational supervisors as informants. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis, and thematically analyzed to discern patterns in strategy use, strategy evaluation, and challenges in the digital era. Key findings reveal supervisors' strategies are diverse and situational, including regular training, mentoring, coaching, collaborations, and supervision, all adapted to the digital context. Success is evaluated through data-driven indicators and evaluation processes, highlighting the role of monitoring, needs identification, socialization, and communication. Challenges faced include motivational deficits, resistance to change, and resource constraints. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of supervisory strategies in the digital era, emphasizing the importance of adaptable, context-sensitive approaches in enhancing ECCE principals' managerial competence. It underscores the role of digital fluency in leadership development and offers insights into effective strategies and prevalent challenges within early childhood education.
