Abstract

Adapting Digital Technology Based on a Cashless Society is a step taken by the Islamic philanthropic institution Dompet Dhuafa Waspada to introduce social programs by disseminating information. Cashless society in Islamic philanthropy is to simplify and speed up the donation process and so on, but this implementation also faces various challenges, such as low digital literacy among the community, resistance to change, and the need to ensure data and transaction security. The aim of this research is to examine the Adaptation of Cashless Society-Based Digital Technology used by Dompet Dhuafa. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method that focuses on primary data sources and secondary data. The results show that the adaptation of digital technology based on a cashlesssociety at DompetDhuafa Waspada hasgreat potential to increase efficiency, transparency and institutional reach. However, the success of this adaptation depends on strategic partnerships, increasing people's digital literacy, and ongoing efforts to build trust through data security and transparent reporting.

Abstract

In this research, the restructuring method was used at Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Kota Baru to see how the collectability status of Sharia Home Ownership Credit (KPR) handled problematic financing. Non-Performing Financing (NPF) is an important issue in the sharia banking industry, including sharia mortgage financing products. This research uses a qualitative study with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews and observations. The research results show that Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Kota Baru implemented several strategies in handling problematic financing for Sharia KPR by rescheduling or rescheduling. By implementing a comprehensive handling mechanism, Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Kota Baru seeks to minimize financing risks. It is hoped that this research will provide theoretical and practical contributions to the progress of the sharia banking industry, especially in dealing with the risk of problematic financing in sharia housing credit (KPR) products.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the phonological varieties of Acehnese numeral words, using primary data from ten villages in the Aceh Jaya district on the west coast of Aceh, Indonesia, and supplementing it with secondary data from Standard Acehnese, Proto-Chamic, and other relevant languages and proto-languages. The research aims to elucidate the historical relationship between the Acehnese and Chamic languages through a comparative analysis. Fifteen numeral words (one to ten, eleven, twelve, twenty, one hundred, and one thousand) were elicited from informants aged 40 to 65. The collected data were recorded, transcribed into IPA symbols, and subsequently analysed. The findings indicate that the split between the Acehnese-Chamic branch and the Malayic languages occurred during the period when the terms for 'eight' and 'nine' were still undergoing lexical stabilisation. The Acehnese language was then subgrouped from Chamic, initially as a dialect. A few centuries later, the ancestors of the Acehnese migrated from mainland Southeast Asia to Sumatra, where their numeral system was subsequently influenced by borrowing from the Malay language. The dialects spoken on the west coast of Aceh retain linguistic evidence of the presence of a language similar to Proto-Chamic and its early contact with indigenous Sumatran populations, and those from the Malay Peninsula.

Abstract

Research on wadiah bonuses within the context of Sharia banks remains an engaging issue in Islamic countries. This research aims to examine the impact of wadiah savings deposits, profit-sharing income, murabahah income, and Ijarah rental income on the distribution of wadiah bonuses to customers in Sharia banks. Employing a quantitative approach, this study utilizes secondary data from the monthly financial reports of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia covering the period from 2020 to 2023. The analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that wadiah savings funds do not significantly affect wadiah bonuses, indicating that changes in wadiah savings amounts do not impact the distribution of these bonuses. Profit-sharing income, however, has a significant effect on wadiah bonuses, suggesting that fluctuations in Wadiah bonuses are influenced by profit-sharing income. In contrast, Murabahah income does not significantly affect wadiah bonuses, indicating that changes in Murabahah income do not impact the distribution of these bonuses. On the other hand, Ijarah income has a significant effect on wadiah bonuses, demonstrating that variations in Ijarah income influence the distribution of wadiah bonuses.

Abstract

Micro businesses have an important role in employment absorption and gross domestic product (GDP). The problem often faced by micro businesses is the difficulty of obtaining loans from banks. Sharia Microfinance Institutions (LKMS) are an alternative source of financing. Baitul Mal wat Tanwil (BMT) Al-Akbar is a sharia microfinance institution that provides micro business financing through murabahah financing. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the realization of murabahah financing through customer characteristics. The sampling method was carried out using convenience sampling and the number of samples used was 40 people. The collected data was processed using multiple regression. The research results show that the significant factors are length of education, length of business, net business income for one month and collateral. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the assets of Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) in Indonesia during the 2019–2023 period. Using secondary data obtained from official publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), this research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. After conducting classical assumption tests to confirm the model’s validity, the analysis was performed using multiple linear regression through the EViews 12 software. The research findings indicate that there are no signs of autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, or multicollinearity, and that the regression model used meets the requirements of normally distributed data. The partial test results (t-test) reveal that the assets of BPRS are not significantly affected by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), but are significantly influenced by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The simultaneous test results (F-test) also demonstrate that BPRS assets are significantly affected by both variables simultaneously. These two variables account for 44.03% of the variation in BPRS assets, as indicated by the Adjusted R-Square value of 0.440347; the remaining portion is influenced by factors not included in this research model.
