Abstract

The Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) curriculum in the Islamic Economics Study Program has not been implemented optimally. Universities experience many obstacles in implementing the MBKM system, including those related to the conversion of grades and the assignment of grades to the selected subjects, the different curriculum models used, the limitations of teaching lecturers, and the materials to be taught. In this study, the authors use qualitative data types with Primary and Secondary Data Sources. The results of this study indicate that the MBKM implementation can be carried out for students in semester 5 by carrying out a student exchange program and for students in semesters 6 and 7 by carrying out an internship program outside the college. Based on the results of interviews with the Dean and Head of the Islamic economics/sharia economics study program at three well-known universities, namely UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, the Tazkia Institute, and Padjadjaran University, the researchers concluded that the MBKM Program opens opportunities for students to develop their skills, expand their networks and go directly into the world of work. Therefore, in the future, alumni can adapt young and be able to compete with graduates.

Abstract

The Financing to Value (FTV) policy is a macroprudential policy issued by Bank Indonesia to determine the total ratio between the value of credit that can be provided by a bank to the value of collateral in the form of property at the time of initial lending to customers. This research aims to be able to know how the procedures for implementing risk management in Sharia Home Ownership Loans (KPR) financing and knowing FTV policies can minimize problem financing on Sharia KPR products at Bank Muamalat Branch Office (KC) Medan City Hall. In this study, the authors used qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that Bank Muamalat KC Medan City Hall has fully implemented Bank Indonesia’s policy regarding Finance to Value (FTV) in KPR financing products. However, this implementation is not fully in accordance with existing policies and the application of these policies has not fully minimized the NPF of Sharia KPR. In addition, the implementation of Sharia Home Ownership Loans (KPRS) distribution carried out by Bank Muamalat KC Medan City Hall did not go well due to several things that caused problematic financing, including non-performing loans. Problematic credit financing at Bank Muamalat KC Medan City Hall is caused by two things, namely debtors and creditors. To prevent and overcome problem financing loans that have been carried out by Bank Muamalat KC Medan City Hall, namely by providing understanding to debtors and providing concessions to ongoing credit problems.

Abstract

The future of banking is largely determined by the management capabilities of Islamic banking and facing the rapid changes that are happening at this time. The rapid pace of information and technology as well as financial innovation has made the financial sector where Islamic banking takes shelter increasingly complex, dynamic, and competitive. This condition has the potential to increase risks to Islamic banking where all these risks absolutely must be managed. Islamic banks should start to manage such risks as reputation risk, for example. Reputation risk is the risk due to decreased stakeholder trust originating from negative perceptions of the bank. The impact of reputation risk events generally causes non-financial losses for the bank. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the implementation of reputation risk management of Islamic banks on employees. The research method of this journal is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach from the data using collected three methods, namely, direct interview observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the role of implementing risk management in North Sumatra companies or banks is very important because in reputation risk there must be control in the company by increasing compliance with applicable regulations in order to control reputation risk. Companies must also anticipate complaints from customers and lawsuits.

The goal of the study is to determine how the profitability of the Shariah general bank (BUS), which is anticipated to provide a return on assets, is impacted by fee-based income, spread for income, and financing to deposit ratio. (ROA). Descriptive quantitative research is the term for this kind of study. Data from the SBH, FBI, FDR, and ROA BUS for the years 2015 to 2022 are used as secondary data in the form of time series or time rows. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) website's Statistics of the Shariah General Bank provided the information. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample for this investigation (based on criteria). Six Shariah General Banks (BUS) with OJK registration, namely BJBS, BMI, BMS, BSB, BCAS, and BTPN shariah, were utilized as samples. Abstract

The problem that is often faced by students is the problem of finding the potential talent that exists in them. In addition, the process of self-actualization that is not easy makes it difficult for teenagers to experience it. Talent is an innate ability that is more or superior which is a potential that still needs to be trained and developed. Self-actualization is the tendency to realize and develop the talents, capacities, and abilities of a human being. Academic self-actualization is self-actualization in the academic or educational field. This study aims to determine the effect of self-actualization on the talent potential of SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu City students. The object of this research is the students of class X and XI science, totaling 100 people. The research variable consists of two variables, namely the independent variable is self-actualization and the dependent variable is the potential talent of students. The data collection method used is a Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis method used is a simple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that the average level of student self-actualization was included in the very high category, this can be seen from the number of students who fall into that category as much as 65%. Based on the results of the study, there is a significant influence on the need for self-actualization on the potential talents of SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu City students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital strategies implemented by the culinary MSME Dimsum Qoqom to improve business performance in Tanjung Mulia Hilir, Medan based on Islamic values. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores how the integration of digital technology and Islamic ethical principles is operationalized to strengthen the MSME’s competitiveness in a rapidly evolving market. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with owners and employees, direct observation of daily digital operations, and documentation of marketing content and customer engagement. The analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that Dimsum Qoqom has effectively implemented digital marketing through social media promotion, online ordering platforms (e.g., WhatsApp and e-commerce food delivery services), and cashless payment systems to improve customer convenience. Islamic values are practically applied in several business practices such as ensuring fairness in pricing, clearly disclosing product ingredients and halal certification for transparency, and providing community support through discounted packages during religious events as a form of social responsibility. A SWOT analysis reveals internal strengths in the form of strong halal positioning and a loyal Muslim customer base, alongside opportunities for digital market expansion. This study concludes that a synergy between digital strategies and Islamic ethical implementation offers a promising approach to improving competitiveness and ensuring sustainable growth for culinary MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of product quality, advertising, and promotion on brand awareness in the life-insurance context. Using a quantitative survey of 100 respondents and multiple linear regression, the research tested the partial and simultaneous influences of the three predictors. Instrument quality met common thresholds for validity and reliability; classical assumptions were assessed prior to model estimation. The results show that product quality does not have a significant partial effect on brand awareness (p = 0.138), whereas advertising (p = 0.003) and promotion (p = 0.021) have positive and significant effects. Simultaneously, the model is significant (F = 35.726; p < 0.001) with an explanatory power of R² = 0.684. These findings indicate that communication efforts—particularly consistent and creative advertising and targeted promotions—play a more decisive role in strengthening brand awareness than perceived product quality in this sample. The study provides managerial guidance for prioritizing integrated marketing communication strategies for life-insurance brands
