Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and attitude in mediating the relationship between teacher support, teaching factory, industrial work practices, and green entrepreneurship intentions. This type of research uses quantitative research with causality research. The population of this study was 393 grade XII students majoring in Online Business and Marketing at SMK throughout Semarang City. The sample in this study was 190 students with a proportionate stratified random sampling. The data were processed using primary data from questionnaires distributed to grade XII students majoring in Online Business and Marketing at 7 SMK in Semarang City. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that the research model had met the validity and reliability of the construct. The results indicate that teacher support and entrepreneurial attitudes have a direct effect on green entrepreneurship intentions. Teaching factories, industrial work practices, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy do not have a direct effect on green entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy cannot mediate the determinants of green entrepreneurial intention. Further research can be developed by adding variables related to measuring the level of environmental awareness of students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing economics teachers' behavioral intentions to use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in teaching, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as the foundational framework. The respondents of the study were high school economics teachers in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. Data were collected from 119 respondents using the accidental sampling technique. A questionnaire developed by previous researchers was used to gather research data. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed as the data analysis method. The findings indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly determine the level of teachers' intention to use GAI in teaching. Furthermore, the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) variable serves as a moderating variable in the research model. The practical implications of this study suggest that educational institutions, teachers, and policymakers need to enhance understanding, provide training, and implement policies that support the integration of TPACK-based Generative AI. These efforts aim to encourage the effective use of this technology to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Abstract

The absorption of SMK N 1 Dukuhturi graduates by industry and the world of work is inversely proportional to the absorption of vocational school/SMK graduates in Tegal Regency. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Strategy at SMK N 1 Dukuhturi with Industry and the World of Work. The research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The data collection is carried out through interviews with the Vice Principal for Public Relations, BK (Guidance and Counseling) Teacher Coordinator, Head of BKK, KKK, Head of PR of Swalayan KITA, and Head of PSDKU BSI. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Domain Analysis Technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The research reveals the stages of implementing the Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Strategy of SMK N 1 Dukuhturi with Industry and the World of Work, consisting of Initiating, Adaptive Learning, Collaborative Action, and Reflective Monitoring. Based on the research results, it is found that the implementation of collaboration does not always foster professional empathy which can be optimized to overcome collaboration obstacles. To increase the effectiveness of the Multi Stakeholder Partnership Strategy, it is recommended that the government intervene to ensure collaborative leadership between parties involved in the collaboration.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the power of figures as a voter getter in democracy impacts the selection of candidates who will be nominated in the general election contest. Candidate pairs are not seen based on their abilities, but rather on how the candidates can win the general election. The use of figures as a means of attracting voters can be seen from the nomination of presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs in the 2024 presidential election. Two of the three candidate pairs have brought together figures from Nahdlatul Ulama as candidate pairs as a winning strategy. In the discipline of socio-political science, a person's voting behavior in a general election is not just a five-yearly activity; there are reasons and backgrounds as to why someone chooses a particular pair. This study aims to analyze more specifically the influence of Islamic boarding school identification on the choice of presidential and vice presidential candidates based on religion. This study uses a survey method with a correlational approach. The subjects in this study were students of the Al-Amien Islamic boarding school with a sample size of 207 students. The results of the analysis show that Islamic boarding school identification has a significant influence on voting behavior. However, the magnitude of the contribution of santri identification is relatively weak, reflected in the regression coefficient of 0.07, while the rational consideration variable, which includes the evaluation of the vision, mission, programs, and track records of the candidates, is proven to have a more substantial influence, with a regression coefficient reaching 0.43. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that although santri identification contributes to santri political preferences, rational considerations play a more dominant role in their decision-making process.

Abstract

Objectives: This research aims to analyze the influence of supervisors’ digital competence on the quality of Islamic education teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal-correlational design.  The population consisted of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) supervisors at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Central Java, with a sample of 100 individuals. The sample was selected using proportional cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, scatter plot technique, t-test, F-test, and regression analysis. Results: The results showed that supervisors’ digital competence had a significant influence on the quality of Islamic education teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, with a contribution of 36.2%. Theoretical Contribution: This study enriches Islamic education theory by demonstrating that supervision aligns with the principles of al-mas'ūliyyah (professional responsibility), al-amānah (trust and integrity), al-iḥsān (continuous improvement), ash-shūrā (deliberation and collaboration), and at-taqwīm (evaluation and reflection), as well as mastery of technology as a manifestation of the command to iqra’ (exploration and development of knowledge).  Implication: Future research should include additional variables such as school culture, technological support, and teacher motivation to develop a more comprehensive supervision model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at the Social Service Office of the Government of Muna Barat Regency. The research background is based on the low productivity and effectiveness of civil servants (ASN), as seen in delays in program implementation, low employee initiative, and suboptimal quality of public services. These issues are believed to be related to ineffective leadership styles, low work motivation, and an unconducive work environment. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consists of 62 employees, including civil servants, government contract staff (PPPK), and honorary employees, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the partial and simultaneous effects among variables. The results reveal that (1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) the work environment also positively and significantly affects employee performance, and (4) the three variables simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on improving employee performance at the Social Service Office of Muna Barat Regency. The findings are expected to provide a foundation for local government in formulating strategies to enhance civil servant performance through participative leadership, increased work motivation, and the creation of a comfortable and productive work environment.
