Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru-guru IPA di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah tentang PTK. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertempat di SMPN 10 Barabai yang dihadiri oleh 36 orang guru IPA di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) IPA. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan pendampingan pada saat penyusunan proposal. Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan proposal PTK bagi guru IPA di kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar dan mendapat respon yang positif dari para peserta. Pelatihan ini telah memberikan informasi bagi guru tentang penyusunan proposal PTK. Dengan demikian, para guru mampu memahami dan menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas. Setelah pelatihan ini, guru diharapkan mampu membuat proposal penelitian tindakan kelas serta  melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang ada dikelasnya.  This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of natural science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency about Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity took place at SMPN 10 Barabai, which was attended by 36 science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency who were members of the Science Teachers' Conference (MGMP). Activities were carried out using lecture, question and answer, discussion, and assistance methods when preparing proposals. The conclusion from the results of this community service activity was the training and mentoring for the preparation of CAR proposals for science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah district, which had been carried out smoothly and received positive responses from the participants. This training has provided information for teachers about the preparation of CAR proposals. Thus, the teachers are able to understand and prepare class action research proposals. After this training, teachers are expected to be able to make class action research proposals and carry out classroom action research to overcome various problems in their class.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar suhu dan kalor menggunakan pembelajaran generatif yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian secara khusus yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) validitas bahan ajar, 2) kepraktisan bahan ajar, dan 3) efektivitas bahan ajar. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan model ADDIE, dengan subjek uji coba 23 siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Data penelitian diperoleh dari lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) validitas bahan ajar berkategori tinggi, 2) kepraktisan bahan ajar berkategori sangat praktis, dan 3) efektivitas bahan ajar berkategori sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar suhu dan kalor menggunakan pembelajaran generatif layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi suhu dan kalor di tingkat SMA. Hasil penelitian ini digunakan sebagai rekomendasi bagi guru dan calon guru dalam memilih bahan ajar yakni dengan menggunakan pembelajaran generatif.The research aims to produce heat and temperature teaching materials using generative learning suitable for the learning process. The purpose of the research is to describe: 1) the validity of teaching materials, 2) the practicality of teaching materials, 3) the effectiveness of teaching materials, and 4) reduction of students' misconceptions. This research uses the ADDIE model, with the test subjects 23 students of class XI MIPA 2 high school 12 Banjarmasin. The research data were obtained from validation sheets, observation sheets of the lesson plans' implementation, and learning achievement tests. The results showed that: 1) the validity of teaching materials is high category, 2) the practicality of very practical categorical teaching materials, and 3) the effectiveness of medium categorized teaching materials. It was concluded that the temperature and heat teaching material using generative learning was feasible to be used in the learning process on the temperature and heat material at the high school level.

Abstract

Low mastery of science process skills indirectly affect student learning outcomes. Therefore, research that aims to improve students' science process skills. The subjects were students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. This research is a classroom action research that specifically aims to describe: (1) the implementation of lesson plan during the learning proses by using guided discovery learning model, (2) an increase in students 'science process skills, and (3) the results of students' learning product. The subjects were students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. Data collection techniques using observation, testing, and documentation for research activities in class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. The results showed that the guided discovery learning model can improve: (1) the implementation of lesson plan during the learning proses by using guided discovery learning model during each cycle is very good, (2) science process skills of students increased in each cycle with all aspects have achieved both categories at the end of the third cycle, (3) mastery learning outcomes of the classical product the students in each cycle has increased. Thus be concluded that the application of guided discovery learning model by maximizing each phase in the material temperature and heat can enhance science process skills of students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa dikarenakan siswa kurang didorong untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses menyebabkan perlunya dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan cara meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui model guided discovery learning pada materi fluida statis. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) keterampilan proses sains, (3) aktivitas siswa, dan (4) hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari: plan, action/observation, dan reflective. Perangkat dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah RPP, LKS, THB, materi ajar, rubrik penilaian keterampilan proses sains, dan lembar observasi keterampilan guru serta aktivitas siswa. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu 83% pada siklus I menjadi 90% dengan kategori sangat baik pada siklus II; (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa, yaitu 61% pada proses pembelajaran dan 69% pada akhir siklus I dengan kategori baik menjadi 83% dan 93% pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) Aktivitas belajar siswa juga meningkat dari 69% dengan kategori aktif pada siklus I menjadi 86,8% dengan kategori sangat aktif pada siklus II; (4) hasil belajar siswa, yaitu 86% (tuntas) pada siklus I menjadi 97% (tuntas) pada siklus II. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa meningkat setelah diterapkan model guided discovery learning.

Abstract

Kurangnya peran aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran mengakibatkan siswa menjadi bosan dikelas sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar khususnya dalam pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) aktivitas siswa, (3) pemahaman konsep siswa, (4) hasil belajar siswa. Model penelitian tindakan kelas Kemmis & Mc Taggart yang digunakan dalam metode penelitian. Subjek penelitian adalah 37 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar, lembar pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran GIDL (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I, II, dan III berkategori sangat baik, (2) aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap aspek dengan berkategori cukup, baik dan sangat baik, (3) ketuntasan pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat, secara berturut-turut ketuntasan individual pada sikus I, II, dan III sebesar 29,73%, 64,90%, dan 94,60%, (4) hasil belajar siswa meningkat, secara berturut-turut ketuntasan individual pada siklus I, II, dan III sebesar 81,08%, 89,19%, dan 100%. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran GIDL.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dikarenakan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang didominasi ceramah. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dengan pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins terdiri atas 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaranpada siklus I dan siklus II terlaksana dengan sangat baik; (2) keterampilan proses sains secara pada siklus I memperoleh hasil dengan kriteria baik dan siklus II  memperoleh hasil dengan kriteria sangat baik; dan (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 64,29% menjadi 85,71% pada siklus II. Implementasi pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains peserta didik di SMA Korpri Banjarmasin kelas XI MIPA dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy.Students' low science process skills are due to the use of learning methods that are dominated by lectures. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve science process skills with an autonomous learner-oriented. This research is a Hopkins classroom action research model consisting of 2 cycles. The subject of the research was the students of class XI MIPA Korpri High School Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation and tests. The results showed: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan implementation sheets in cycle I and cycle II was implemented very well; (2) science process skills in cycle I get results with good criteria and cycle II gets results with very good criteria; and (3) The completeness of the results of study participants students increased from cycle I amounted to 64.29% into 85.71% in cycle II. The implementation of learning, which is oriented towards students' learner autonomy, is significant enough to improve students' process skills. Thus it can be concluded that the science process skills of students in the Korpri High School Banjarmasin at MIPA XI class can be improved through autonomous learner oriented learning.

Abstract

Learning outcome and procedural skills students are still classified as low, as in school learning model did not match expectation. So, it will be done research on improving learning outcomes and procedural skills of the students through direct instruction of physics IPA learning. This research aims to describe (1) The fidelity of lesson plans during the process of teaching and learning through direct instruction, (2) Procedural skills of students through direct instruction, (3) Learning outcome through direct instruction. This research is a research action class that consists of two cycles with model Hopkins. The subject of research is the grade VIII E The middle state 31 Banjarmasin. The data collection using to the test, and observations. Analytical techniques descriptive quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that (1) The fidelity of lesson plans during the process of teaching and learning through direct instruction increase in cycle I gained average score of 86,04% became 97,26% cycle II, (2) and procedural skills students also experienced an increase in cycle I gained an average score of 82,76% became 94,83% in cycle II, (3) Learning outcome experience increased where thoroughly the results of the study on cycle I of 48,28% became 89,66%. Provide the conclusion that with the use of the few phase direct instruction in the process of learning can improve the procedural skill and the student learning as expected.

Abstract

Abstract: Mechanicss is a part of learning in the basic physics course. Mechanics covers kinematics particle and dynamics particle. The materials in mechanics are the topics/ discussion which are related to human being life. Considering the characteristics of the materials in the mechanics, the problem solving ability is urgently needed to coprehend the materials. Based on this consideration, students’ problem solving ability needs to be analyzed to see the extend of the ability posses by the students to ease the learning. The subjects of the research were the natural science students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin. The instrument used were a test which was analyzed using the problem solving ability scoring rubric. The results showed that the students’ ability in solving mechanics material in general is good. However, the students commonly missed to check and evaluate the solution so that this step is categorized as less good. Abstrak: Mekanika merupakan bagian dari pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah fisika dasar. Mekanika mencakup kinematika partikel dan dinamika partikel. Pokok bahasan dalam mekanika merupakan suatu bahasan yang sering bersinggungan dengan kehidupan mahasiswa. Melihat karakteristik materi pada mekanika ini maka kemampuan pemecahan masalah sangat diperlukan untuk memahami materi tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa perlu untuk dianalisis sejauh mana kemampuan yang sudah dimiliki untuk lebih memudahkan suatu pembelajran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rubrik penilaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil data kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa termasuk kategori baik. Namun mahasiswa sering melewatkan tahapan uji konsistensi dan koherensi serta mengevaluasi solusi sehingga pada tahap tersebut masih tergolong cukup baik. Adanya beberapa tahap yang masih tergolong cukup baik ini dapat terus ditingkatkan dengan membiasakan suatu proses pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada masalah terutama masalah nyata.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of static fluid module based on local wisdom in the wetlands environment. This study is a research and development study and uses the 4D model modified. The effectiveness of the module is measured using a learning outcome test. The subjects of this study were sixty grade XI students from two public high schools in Banjarmasin city. The result of the analysis showed that the effectiveness of teaching materials have a medium category. The result indicates that the static fluid module based on local wisdom in the wetland environment is effective so that they can be used in the learning process in the classroom, at the high school level.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is one of the higher-order thinking skills which are highly functional for each individual. Scientific creativity encourages the individual to not only generate creative ideas, but also promotes the notion of the appropriate technology. This article provides an in-depth explanation of the bibliometric analysis of scientific literature in education. The articles search was performed by utilizing Publish or Perish (PoP) software on the Crossref database. The search and sort results discovered that 28 of 200 articles were found between the years of 2019-2020. The selected metadata was edited using Mendeley Desktop software. The edited results were then analyzed further and visualized using the VOSviewer software. Overall, articles with the keyword scientific creativity published in the 2019-2020 period have not been cited, and it is essential to be studied collaboratively not only between national institutions but also internationally.
