Abstract

This study aims to look at the effectiveness of project-based learning on literacy skills and digital literacy of students in elementary schools. This study used a quantitative approach with the control group research method and the pretest-posttest research design. The students used in this study were grade II elementary school students with a selected population of 5 classes consisting of 120 students, randomly selected to meet the control class consisting of 20 students and 1 experimental class in each class who realized that the ability to understand numerical concepts and arithmetic operational skills in everyday life is not in accordance with numerical literacy indicators. The overall results described in the Manova test (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) show that the project-based learning model has proven effective in increasing students' digital literacy and numerical literacy skills. This can be seen from the results of the experimental class using the Project Based Learning model which is superior to the control class using the traditional learning model. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model is effectively used to improve the numerical literacy skills and digital literacy of second grade elementary school students. So that through this research students can achieve the expected indicators in the application of numeracy and digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze students’ perception about their experience in online learning using blended learning in Physics course. The sample was 101 undergraduate students of Physics education who completed the questionnaire which consisted of 34 questions in Likert scale. The data were analyzed using a semi-explorative approach and the results showed that most of the students thought that the lecturer's teaching methods were good and supported by good facilities. However, students have many assignments and do not feel any improvement in skills. Generally, students' perceptions varied influenced by the Appropriate Workload Scale (AWS) and the Appropriate Assessment Scale (AAS) which were explained by 60.911% of the variation.

Abstract

: Pemanduan bakat olahraga secara ilmiah jarang dilakukan dalam pembinaan prestasi olahraga disabilitas. NPC Kota Tegal masih ketinggalan prestasi olahraga disabilitas karena belum memiliki atlet disabilitas yang memadai. Pengurus NPC Kota Tegal membutuhkan bantuan dalam menemukan calon atlet berbakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk 1) memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi sumber daya manusia (SDM) NPC Kota Tegal tentang pemanduan bakat olahraga disabilitas, dan 2) memberikan pengalaman SDM NPC Kota Tegal melaksanakan proses pemanduan bakat olahraga kepada 48 calon atlet disabilitas di Kota Tegal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari pada hari Jum’at & Sabtu, Tanggal 16-17 September 2022, bertempat di GOR Wisanggeni, Kota Tegal. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 10 orang SDM NPC Kota Tegal menjadi peserta ToT (Training of Trainer), dan 48 orang calon atlet disabilitas yang dites keberbakatannya. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan (1) memberikan ToT cara pemanduan bakat olahraga disabilitas, (2) melaksanakan pengetesan kepada 48 calon atlet disabilitas, dan (3) menganalisa hasil pemanduan bakat. Hasil kegiatan: (1) Peserta ToT 10 orang SDM Kota Tegal memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pemanduan bakat olahraga bagi atlet disabilitas, dan (2) sepuluh SDM dapat melaksanakan managemen rangkaian proses pemanduan bakat olahraga kepada 48 orang calon atlet disabiltas dengan baik, dengan menghasilkan identifikasi kelas klasifikasi dan minat cabang olahraga bagi seluruh calon atlet disabilitas. Kesimpulan hasil kegiatan adalah 1) Sepuluh Orang SDM NPC Kota Tegal mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pengalam baru tentang pemanduan bakat olahraga disabilitas, dan 2) sepuluh orang SDM dapat melaksanakan kegiatan dengan baik dan 48 calon atlet disabilitas dapat diidentifikasi klasifikasi dan minat cabang olahraganya. Kontribusi kegiatan NPC Kota Tegal memiliki SDM untuk melaksanakan pemanduan bakat masa mendatang dan mempunyai atlet untuk dibina prestasinya.Scientific scouting of sports talent is rarely done in developing disability sports achievements. NPC Tegal City still lags behind disability sports achievements because it does not have adequate disabled athletes. The Tegal City NPC board needs help in finding talented prospective athletes. This service activity aims to 1) provide knowledge and understanding for NPC Human Resources of Tegal City about guiding disability sports talents and 2) provide the experience for NPC Human Resources of Tegal City to carry out the process of guiding sports talents to 48 prospective athletes with disabilities in Tegal City. The activity will be held for two days on Friday & Saturday, September 16th-17th, 2022, at GOR Wisanggeni, Tegal City. The target of the activity was 10 NPC human resources in Tegal City who became ToT (Training of Trainer) participants and 48 prospective athletes with disabilities who were tested for their diversity. The activity method is carried out by (1) providing ToT on how to guide disability sports talents, (2) conducting tests for 48 prospective disabled athletes, and (3) analyzing the results of talent guidance. The results of the activity (1) ToT participants 10 Tegal City human resources have knowledge and understanding of guiding sports talents for athletes with disabilities. (2) Ten human resources can manage a series of sports talent guidance processes for 48 prospective athletes in a good manner by identifying classification classes and sports interests for all prospective athletes with disabilities. The conclusion of the activity was 1) Ten NPC human resources in Tegal City gained new knowledge and experience about guiding disability sports talents. 2) Ten HR people can carry out activities well, and 48 prospective athletes with disabilities can be identified by classification and interests in sports. The contribution of NPC activities in Tegal City has human resources to carry out future talent scouting and has athletes to foster their achievements.

Abstract

This research employed bibliometric analysis which aimed to analyze differentiated learning research trends in the Merdeka Curriculum and visualize them. The database used was Google Scholar. Based on the search results with the keyword "differentiated learning" through Publish or Perish (PoP), 41 articles were obtained and then analyzed into 28 articles based on predetermined criteria. Vosviewer was used to visualize the data obtained. From the results of the analysis, it was found that publications on differentiated learning start from 2020-2023, and the number continues to increase every year. The articles analyzed came from accredited national journals Sinta 3, Sinta 4, Sinta 5, and national journals. In addition, ten authors with the highest number of citations were obtained. The findings of this research show that differentiated learning topics in 2023 and beyond can continue to develop in various fields both in research subjects, subjects, implementation or the influence of differentiated learning on teacher competence.

Abstract

Masih banyaknya guru yang belum memahami dan terbatasnya kemampuan guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten HSU karena belum terbiasa dalam membuat artikel ilmiah. Hal ini mendorong tim pengabdian atau tim program dosen wajib mengabdi (PDWA) melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan artikel bagi guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten HSU. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para guru untuk membuat artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan mengadopsi pola pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan meliputi empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online via zoom meeting. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang cara pembuatan artikel ilmiah dan respon guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan memiiki kategori sangat baik. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang cara pembuatan artikel ilmiah sehingga dapat membuat dan menghasilkan suatu karya berupa artikel ilmiah yang dapat dipublikasikan.

Abstract

Masih rendahnya keterampilan guru dalam menyunting media berupa video, serta kurangnya informasi yang dimiliki guru terkait aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam menyunting video menjadi latar belakang pada penelitian ini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman para guru terkait aplikasi filmora sebagai editing tools untuk video bermuatan lingkungan lahan basah, serta mengetahui respon guru dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Peserta pelatihan ini ialah 15 orang guru kelompok Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Kimia di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU). Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah, diskusi dan praktik secara langsung dalam menyunting video menggunakan aplikasi filmora. Berdasarkanh hasil pelatihan diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang penyuntingan video menggunakan aplikasi filmora dan respon guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan kategori baik. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang penyuntingan video menggunakan aplikasi filmora. Produk video yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan dalam membantu proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to produce vibration and wave teaching materials in electronic modules based on the STEM approach. This study uses research and development methods with a 4D development model. The research subjects were all Physics Education study program students who took vibration and wave courses. Data collection tools include validation sheets (materials and media), response questionnaires to measure the practicality of the module, and tests to measure the module's effectiveness. The data analysis technique uses proportions with predetermined criteria and practicality. The effect size equation is used to measure the module's effectiveness. The results showed that (1) the e-module was feasible to use according to the expert with an average value of 3.77 material and media validation results and 3.86 very valid categories; (2) the practicality of the e-module with a very practical category is 76.75% and (3) the effectiveness of the e-module in increasing the HOTS of students with the criteria is very effective.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi media pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan adanya pelatihan pembuatan media berbasis teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang telah yang diperoleh bahwa 33,33% menyatakan kurang terampil dalam menggunakan teknologi ketika menyusun bahan ajar IPA. Oleh karena itu, tim Program Dosen Wajib Mengabdi (PDWA) berusaha menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis teknologi menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru MGMP IPA dalam membuat media pembelajaran IPA berbasis teknologi. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini mengadopsi penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 4 antara lain tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, refkleksi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian menggunakan 2 mode yaitu moda daring dan moda luring. Moda daring dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juli 2023 via Zoom Meeting dan moda luring dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Juli dan 5 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan moda luring dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Alalak Kabupaten Barito Kuala dihadiri oleh 19 orang guru IPA. Berdasarkan angket evaulasi pemahaman peserta dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru paham dan bisa membuat media pembelajaran dengan memperoleh nilai 75,08% dan mendapatkan respon baik. Pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan kategori baik. Currently, technological developments influence learning media, so training in creating technology-based media is needed. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained, 33.33% stated that they were less skilled in using technology when compiling science teaching materials. Therefore, the Compulsory Service Lecturer Program (PDWA) team is trying to solve the problem through training activities in making technology-based science learning media using the Canva application. This training aims to increase the knowledge and skills of MGMP science teachers in creating technology-based science learning media. The method used in this training adopts classroom action research, which consists of 4 stages, including planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection stages. Implementation of service uses two modes, namely online mode and offline mode. The online mode was held on 21 July 2023 via Zoom Meeting, and the offline mode was held on 29 July and 5 August 2023. The offline mode activity was conducted at SMPN 2 Alalak, Barito Kuala Regency, attended by 19 science teachers. Based on the participant understanding evaluation questionnaire, it can be concluded that the teacher understands and can create learning media by obtaining a score of 75.08% and getting a good response. This training provides knowledge and skills in making technology-based learning media in the good category.

Abstract

Pengintegrasian kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran IPA sangat diperlukan karena banyak terdapat konsep-konsep IPA di dalamnya. Faktanya pengintegrasian kearifan lokal ke dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya IPA sangat jarang, hal ini serupa berdasarkan hasil diperoleh bahwa: (1) 47,2% guru cukup memahami penyusunan modul ajar IPA; (2) 47,2% guru cukup memahami tentang pengintegrasian kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran IPA; dan (3) 52,8% guru cukup memahami tentang penyusunan modul berbasis kearifan lokal. Berdasarkan hasil temuan/permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, maka tim PDWA perlu mengadakan pelatihan modul ajar IPA berbasis kearifan lokal. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam membuat modul ajar IPA berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Adapun kegiatan ini dilakukan secara hybrid dengan 3 kali pertemuan dihadiri oleh 11 guru MGMP IPA bertempat di SMPN 2 Alalak. Kegiatan pertama dilaksanakan secara daring via Zoom pada tanggal 21 Juli 2023. Pertemuan kedua dan ketiga dilaksanakan secara luring pada tanggal 29 Juli dan 5 Agustus 2023. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan disiumpulkan bahwa guru MGMP IPA dapat membuat modul berbasis kearifan lokal dengan baik dan termasuk kategori paham memperoleh nilai sebesar 72,36%. Melalui pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam membuat modul ajar IPA berbasis kearifan lokal dalam rangka menguatkan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.Integrating local wisdom into science learning is very necessary because there are many science concepts in it. Integrating local wisdom into the learning process, especially science, is very rare. This is similar based on the results obtained that: (1) 47.2% of teachers entirely understand the preparation of science teaching modules; (2) 47.2% of teachers understand enough about integrating local wisdom in science learning; and (3) 52.8% of teachers understand enough about preparing local wisdom-based modules. Based on the findings/problems partners face, the PDWA team needs to hold "Strengthening the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum through training in science teaching modules based on local wisdom in wetland environments." This activity aims to increase teachers' understanding and skills in creating science teaching modules based on local wisdom to strengthen the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. This activity is carried out through planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. This activity was carried out hybridly with three meetings attended by 11 MGMP Science teachers at SMPN 2 Alalak. The first activity was held online via Zoom on July 21, 2023. The second and third meetings were offline on July 29 and August 5, 2023. Based on the activity results, it was concluded that MGMP science teachers could create local wisdom-based modules well and were included in the category of understanding and gaining knowledge. Value of 72.36%. Through training, teachers can improve their understanding and skills in creating science teaching modules based on local wisdom to strengthen the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam membuat media interaktif kimia dapat dilihat berdasarkan kuesioner yang di isi para guru diperoleh bahwa 58,8% guru cukup terampil menggunakan teknologi dalam membuat media interaktif kimia. Hal tersebut yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para guru kimia dalam membuat media interaktif kimia dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan Anyflip. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 12 orang guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Barito Kuala yang akan dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Alalak dengan 3 kali pertemuan secara online (satu kali pertemuan) maupun ofline (dua kali pertemuan). Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juli 2023, 28 Juli 2023, dan 4 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahapan antara lain tahap perencanaan, tahap tindakan, tahap observasi dan evaluasi terakhir tahap refleksi. Adapun hasil kegiatan ini dilihat dari angket evaluasi peserta paham mengenai pembuatan media interaktif dengan memperoleh nilai sebesar 76,31% yang termasuk kategori paham. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan pemahaman para guru dalam membuat media interaktif dalam pembelajaran kimia.The limited ability of teachers to use technology in creating chemical interactive media can be seen based on questionnaires filled out by teachers; it was found that 58.8% of teachers were skilled enough to use technology in creating chemical interactive media. This is the background for this Community Service (PkM) activity. This training activity aims to increase the understanding and ability of chemistry teachers to create interactive chemistry media in implementing the Independent Curriculum using Anyflip. This training was attended by 12 MGMP Chemistry teachers from Barito Kuala Regency, which will be held at SMAN 1 Alalak with three meetings online (one meeting) and offline (two meetings). This activity was carried out on 21 July 2023, 28 July 2023, and 4 August 2023. This activity was carried out in 4 stages, including the planning stage, the action stage, the observation stage, the final evaluation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of this activity can be seen from the evaluation questionnaire of participants' understanding of making interactive media, which has a score of 76.31% and is included in the understanding category. Teachers can improve their skills and understanding in creating interactive media in chemistry learning through this training activity.
