Abstract

Background: Bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia that occurs in the bronchi and alveoli. Patients with infectious diseases, such as bronchopneumonia, need special nutritional care to speed up recovery and maintain their current weight. The nutrition care process is carried out by providing a high-calorie and high-protein diet to support the fulfillment of intake according to patient needs. Objectives: To find out the implementation of the nutritional care process by administering a high-calorie and high-protein diet to bronchopneumonia patients. Methods: This study was conducted in October 2022 for patients hospitalized at RS X Sidoarjo. Data collection are carried out by observation for 3 days in the domains of food intake, physical/clinical, biochemical, and anthropometry. Results: After the nutrition intervention with the principle of a high-calorie, high-protein diet, the patient's condition began to improve, marked by increased intake from day to day, even though on the first day of intervention there was fulfillment of protein, fat, and iron, which had not been able to reach the target (<60%). The symptoms of cough and cold felt by the patient have decreased in scale, and no weight loss has occurred. However, during the intervention, laboratory tests were not repeated. Conclusions: The patient's recovery in this case was quite fast, the results of clinical physical monitoring slowly improved, no weight loss occurred, and food intake increased gradually towards the set target. Although biochemical values cannot be monitored and evaluated because there has been no re-examination, overall, the nutritional intervention provided was achieved.

Abstract

Any future planetary landing missions, just as demonstrated by Perseverance in 2021 Mars landing mission require advanced guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for the powered landing phase of the spacecraft to touch down a designated target with pinpoint accuracy (circular error precision < 5 m radius). This requires a landing system capable to estimate the craft’s states and map them to certain thrust commands for each craft’s engine. Reinforcement learning theory is used as an approach to manage the mapping guidance algorithm and translate it to engine thrust control commands. This work compares several reinforcement learning based approaches for a powered landing problem of a spacecraft in a two-dimensional (2-D) environment, and identify the advantages/disadvantages of them. Five methods in reinforcement learning, namely Q-Learning, and its extension such as DQN, DDQN, and policy optimization-based such as DDPG and PPO are utilized and benchmarked in terms of rewards and training time needed to land the Lunar Lander. It is found that Q-Learning method produced the highest efficiency. Another contribution of this paper is the use of different discount rates for terminal and shaping rewards, which significantly enhances optimization performance. We present simulation results demonstrating the guidance and control system’s performance in a 2-D simulation environment and demonstrate robustness to noise and system parameter uncertainty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal bladder volume that can balance the dose distribution to the organs-at-risk (OARs), specifically the bladder and rectum, and to analyze the relationship between variations in bladder volume and the dose received by these two organs during high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy. Six bladder volume variations, namely empty, 100 cc, 150 cc, 200 cc, 250 cc, and 300 cc, were used to analyze the correlation between bladder volume and the radiation dose received by the bladder and rectum. An experimental approach was employed by observing the dose point distribution and the D2cc dose to both organs based on calculations from the Treatment Planning System (TPS), which were then compared with analytical calculations using a quadratic polynomial regression model via the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. In general, the bladder point dose and D2cc dose increased with increasing bladder volume; however, the rectal dose demonstrated very high stability (90-100 cGy). Based on the variations in bladder volume, the optimal volume was 100 cc, as it protects the bladder by minimizing dose distribution and stabilizes the dose to the rectum. The statistical analysis results showed that the quadratic regression model had a high goodness-of-fit to the experimental data, with a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.92.

Abstract

Apart from civil servants, which hold the status of full-time and permanent employees, there are other type of government employees, called "honorary or part-time employees". Specifically for teachers, 48 % teachers in Indonesia are honorary teachers. This research aims to examine the influence of gratitude on job satisfaction among honorary teachers. This research uses simple linear regression analysis techniques. This research involved 273 honorary teachers from the Depok City Government who worked in elementary and junior high schools in Depok City as participans. The data analysis indicate a significant effect of gratitude on job satisfaction with (F = 50.908, and R2 = 0.158, with p < 0.01). This result means that gratitude contributes 15.8% in shaping job satisfaction among the teacher. This means that the higher a person is grateful at work, the higher the level of job satisfaction, and vice versa, the lower a person is grateful at work, the lower the level of job satisfaction.
