Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector still face obstacles at the stage of drying potato oil. This process reduces quality, accelerates cooling, and reduces product shelf life. This research designed a simple centrifugal force-based oil slicing machine with food-grade material that is safe to use. Tests showed the machine was able to lower the oil content by up to 28% in a duration of 60 seconds per cycle, with an adequate capacity of five kilograms of fries. This innovation improves production efficiency, quality, and competitiveness of MSMEs in the processed food industry.

Abstract

There are many problems and negative impacts caused by insects on chili plants (Capsicum annum L.), so one alternative environmentally friendly control method is to use insect traps, one of the traps that can be used is the yellow trap. The aim of this research is to find out how effective yellow traps are against pests in red chili plantations. This method uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor consisting of four treatments (T1 30 cm, T2 60 cm, T3 90 cm and T4 120 cm), which was repeated 6 times. The results of this study showed that all yellow trap treatments showed that the treatment in the first to sixth weeks had no real effect on trap setting and tended to decrease the number of catches. It was found that the percentage of insect intensity in the observations showed that the highest percentage figure for the T3 treatment was 3.81%, while the lowest percentage figure for the T1 treatment was 3.28%.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema penguatan nilai-nilai anti korupsi pada generasi muda di SMA Negeri 3 Majene bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada generasi muda sebagai pemegang estafet kepemimpinan bangsa tentang bahaya korupsi dan upaya pencegahannya agar berpartisipasi aktif dalam mencegah perilaku koruptif sehingga nantinya bisa menjadi bekal baik untuk diri sendiri maupun ketika masuk dalam dunia kerja. Metode dan langkah yang yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu: 1) Melakukan Persiapan dengan koordinasi dengan Pihak sekolah SMA Negeri 3 Majene. 2) Melaksanakan Sosialisasi Penguatan Antikorupsi pada generasi muda khususnya siswa siswa SMA Negeri 3 Majene, 3) melaksanakan afirmasi kepada peserta dalam upaya mengukur keberhasilan program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkatnya pemahaman siswa SMA Negeri 3 Majene terkait nilai-nilai anti korupsi yang harus di pedomani oleh para pelajar sebagai generasi penerus dan pelurus bangsa, yang nantinya dapat berperan aktif dalam mencegah korupsi di Indonesia. Kami Juga berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran bahaya budaya korupsi di lingkungan masyarakat lebih tepatnya di lingkungan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to improve flipbook-based learning outcomes. Technological advancements have shifted educational approaches from traditional methods to more interactive and digital formats. The methodology used was an experimental study featuring a Nonequivalent Control Group, involving two groups of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. The experimental group engaged in flipbook-based learning, while the control group adopted conventional techniques. The results showed that students utilizing flipbooks showed a more significant improvement in learning outcomes compared to students in the control group. The experimental group achieved an average posttest score of 85%, reflecting a 50% increase from the pretest, while the control group only saw a 22% increase from pretest to posttest. Furthermore, the integration of flipbooks increased student engagement, made learning more engaging, and facilitated the understanding of abstract concepts. This study recommends that elementary school educators use flipbooks as a digital learning resource and receive adequate training in its implementation. Therefore, flipbook-based learning provides a viable alternative to improve academic achievement and foster student interest in elementary schools.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most common non-communicable diseases (NCDs) whose prevalence continues to increase and has become a leading cause of death in Indonesia. To address this issue, the government, through BPJS Kesehatan, launched the Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis), which is implemented in first-level health facilities, such as health centers. The success of this program depends greatly on patient satisfaction with the services provided. This study aims to identify factors associated with the satisfaction of patients with hypertension who use Prolanis services at the Pulau Panggung Health Center. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was applied, involving 131 hypertensive patients registered as Prolanis participants. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that referenced the five dimensions of service quality outlined in the SERVQUAL model: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and patient satisfaction. The findings revealed that all five dimensions of service quality had a significant association with patient satisfaction (p≤0.05). Among them, the tangible evidence dimension was identified as the most dominant factor influencing satisfaction. In conclusion, Prolanis' service quality plays a crucial role in determining patient satisfaction. Therefore, improving the quality of services, particularly in tangible aspects such as facility cleanliness, comfort, availability of medical equipment, completeness of infrastructure, and the professional appearance of healthcare workers, is expected to enhance the effectiveness of Prolanis implementation at health centers.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 terjadi awal tahun 2020 telah menganggu, menunda, dan menghentikan pelayanan imunisasi rutin. Berbagai Negara mengalami penurunan cakupan imunisasi. Masalah ini akan menimbulkan peningkatan kasus PD3I yang sebelumnya sudah cukup terkendali atau tereliminasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Dampak Pandemi COVID-19 Terhadap Cakupan Imunisasi Dasar Anak Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tamalanrea Jaya Kota Makassar. Metode Penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian deksriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan total sampling. Sampel yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah bayi yang berumur 0-11 bulan yang mendapatkan imunisasi dasar. Analisa data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa data univariat. Hasil di dapatkan cakupan imunsasi dasar anak tahun 2019 pada bulan maret- desember di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tamalanrea Jaya Kota Makassar sesuai dengan target atau UCI, pada tahun 2020 cakupan imunisasi dasar mengalami penurunan  yaitu pada bulan maret- desember di dapatkan cakupan imunisasi di bawah target atau UCI dan yang paling rendah yaitu pada bulan april dengan jumlah 187 dan dengan presentasi cakupan 50,8%. Kesimpulan Terdapat dampak cakupan imunisasi dasar pada anak di masa pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi transparansi dalam proses penagihan dan penyelesaian pengaduan pada layanan PDAM guna meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menganalisis berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan praktik transparansi, teknologi, dan manajemen pengaduan dalam sektor layanan air bersih. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem penagihan yang transparan dan mekanisme pengaduan yang responsif secara signifikan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Namun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia masih menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi melalui inovasi teknologi dan peningkatan kompetensi staf. Studi ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi digital serta penguatan komunikasi dua arah untuk memastikan layanan yang akuntabel dan berkualitas.
