Abstract

This research was motivated by the urgency of improving the quality of education and learning outcomes for elementary school students to ensure they are relevant to 21st-century competencies. The primary objective of this study was to validate the Inquiry Learning (IL) development model combined with the Deep Learning (DL) approach and to test its effectiveness on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) framework, involving fifth-grade students in five elementary schools as research subjects. Data were collected through expert validation instruments, observations, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), which were then analyzed using N-Gain inferential statistics. The results showed that the IL-DL model was deemed highly valid and practical by experts and practitioners. Key findings revealed a significant improvement in cognitive learning outcomes; in a small-scale trial, the completion rate jumped dramatically from 30% in the pre-test to 95% in the post-test. This consistent effectiveness was reinforced by a large-scale trial, with a completion rate of 94.6%. Furthermore, the average N-Gain Score (g) of 0.78 (High category) and the effectiveness level of 78.54% (Effective category) confirm that the synergy between structured inquiry and in-depth learning successfully mitigates the phenomenon of shallow learning. This study concludes that the IL-DL model is a transformative solution worthy of adoption to improve the quality of learning and student competencies in elementary schools.

Abstract

General Background Digital transformation in education requires learning media that support active, contextual, and student-centered learning in elementary education. Specific Background Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based interactive e-modules combine digital content, project activities, and multimedia features to support elementary students’ learning outcomes, engagement, and critical thinking. Knowledge Gap Although previous studies report positive results, the evidence remains limited because the number of reviewed studies is relatively small, research designs vary, and standardized effect size reporting is still lacking. Aims This study aimed to analyze and evaluate PjBL-based interactive e-modules in improving elementary school students’ learning outcomes through a narrative literature review. Results Fifteen articles published between 2020 and 2025 from Scopus, Sinta, and Google Scholar were reviewed. The findings showed a consistent positive trend, with several studies reporting moderate learning gains, approximately 20–30% increases in post-test scores, along with better student engagement and critical thinking skills. The review also identified teacher competency, technological access, and instructional design quality as key moderating factors. Novelty This review synthesizes recent evidence on PjBL-based interactive e-modules by linking learning outcomes with moderating implementation factors and practical development priorities. Implications The findings suggest the need for structured teacher training, standardized interactive module frameworks, and scalable digital infrastructure, while future research should apply meta-analytic approaches and report effect sizes to strengthen the evidence base. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of using smart weather learning media assisted by problem-based learning on 3rd grade elementary school students' learning about weather and its impact on human life. The library research method, also called literature study, is by collecting data and then processing the research data. This research data was obtained from several previous studies. Data were analyzed by data reduction and presentation. The results of the analysis indicate that the science learning media is very suitable for use. The advantages of PBL-based smart weather media are that it can create classes, can use ready-to-use content, and can create content that suits the wishes or needs of its users. Thus, learning can improve student learning outcomes and become an alternative solution in implementing effective learning media in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine teacher strategies based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to enhance eye contact skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during classroom learning. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by analyzing ten empirical research articles published between 2020 and 2025. The review focused on structured learning approaches, teacher interventions, and the impact on visual attention and social engagement in autistic children. Findings indicate that eye contact does not occur spontaneously but develops through sequential behavioral stages, including compliance with instructions, emergence of visual attention, social responses, and functional eye contact. Teachers implement strategies such as gradual prompting, consistent positive reinforcement, use of visual media, and the Discrete Trial Training (DTT) approach to systematically guide children in achieving sustained eye contact during learning interactions. These interventions not only improve visual attention but also facilitate basic social communication skills. Across all studies reviewed, consistent application of ABA-based strategies by teachers significantly enhances the frequency and duration of eye contact, forming a foundation for social engagement and classroom participation. This review provides evidence-based guidance for educators in designing and implementing ABA strategies in school settings, highlighting the importance of structured, gradual, and reinforced teaching methods to support the social and academic development of children with ASD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tuntutan beban kerja guru sekolah dasar yang berpotensi memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis mereka, serta pentingnya dukungan sosial sebagai faktor protektif dalam menghadapi tekanan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami makna dukungan sosial dan beban kerja dalam kaitannya dengan kesejahteraan psikologis guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tegowanu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 12 guru sekolah dasar yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi terbatas, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik melalui tahap reduksi, pengkodean, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi makna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dipahami sebagai sumber kekuatan emosional yang berasal dari keluarga, rekan kerja, dan pimpinan sekolah, yang berperan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan psikologis guru. Sementara itu, beban kerja dipersepsikan sebagai tuntutan kompleks yang tidak hanya mencakup kegiatan mengajar, tetapi juga beban administratif yang tinggi, yang berkontribusi pada stres dan kelelahan emosional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis guru merupakan hasil interaksi dinamis antara faktor protektif berupa dukungan sosial dan faktor risiko berupa beban kerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya strategis untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih suportif serta pengelolaan beban kerja yang lebih proporsional guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis guru.
