Abstract

The use of Indonesian in teaching and learning interactions is a form of communication. Interactions carried out by students to lecturers can be in the form of conversations, dialogues, or questions about everything related to what students are feeling or complaining about. The speech acts used in discussions vary widely because they generally come from different regions. It is this impression that makes researchers interested in studying illocutionary speech acts in the lecture process. This study specifically aims to describe the use of illocutionary speech acts between students and lecturers of the Indonesian language and literature education study program at UMN Al Washliyah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students and lecturers in learning interactions in Indonesian language and literature education study program classes. The object of research is speech acts, especially illocutionary speech acts which are forms of student speech to lecturers. In this study, data collection was carried out using two methods, namely (1) the listening method and (2) the speaking method. The results of the study show that illocutionary speech acts between lecturers and students during the teaching and learning process take place in the form of declaration, representative, expressive, directive and commissive speech acts.

Abstract

Model Project based Learning (PjBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berpusat kepada mahasiswa dalam menghasilkan suatu proyek pembelajaran. Model PjBL ini menuntut mahasiswa untuk dapat berpikir kritis dan kreatif, sedangkan peran pendidik sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mendesain media pembelajaran berbasis literasi melalui penerapan model PjBL dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia SD. Peranan media dalam pembelajaran sangatlah penting, sehingga mahasiswa harus diberikan bekal dalam mendesain media pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk menjadi guru yang kreatif dan professional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi PGSD UMN Al Washliyah. Dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

This study presents a novel approach to addressing the challenges brought about by Industry 4.0 in vocational education, particularly within the context of Indonesia's evolving industrial landscape. With industries increasingly embracing digitalization and automation, traditional apprenticeship supervision methods have struggled to keep pace. In response, this research introduces the e-monPrakerin model, an electronic-based supervision system tailored for vocational high schools (Bahasa: Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK). Through rigorous evaluation employing a randomized control group pretest-posttest design, the study demonstrates the effectiveness of the e-monPrakerin model compared to conventional methods. Results reveal significant improvements in practicality and user satisfaction, with practicability scores soaring from 41.1% to 81.3% and user satisfaction scores escalating from 31.6% to 84.4% post-implementation. These outcomes underscore the e-monPrakerin model's ability to optimize apprenticeship monitoring, offering a cost-effective, user-friendly, and efficient solution for navigating the complexities of Industry 4.0. By leveraging information technology to bridge the gap between vocational education and industry demands, this research sheds light on the practical implications of digital monitoring solutions. Ultimately, the e-monPrakerin model represents a substantial advancement in vocational education, showcasing the efficacy of technology-driven approaches in enhancing monitoring efficiency and user satisfaction. This contribution adds valuable insights to the field, benefiting educators, policymakers, and stakeholders alike in their efforts to equip the workforce with the skills necessary to thrive in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Anatomical characters of mangrove species have two important roles in mangrove studies that are as taxonomic supporting character and adaptation trait as a response to saline environment. Corks warts and sclereid are independent to environment, therefore those characters may be of taxonomic support. Mangrove species anatomical adaptation showed similar feature to drought stress or sclerophyll. The aim of this study is to distinguish anatomical characters of mangrove species that is taxonomical from habitat adaptation related anatomical characters. Fifteen true mangrove species from Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi and Banyuasin, South Sumatra were used to conduct this study. Paraffin method was used for leaf transversal section, while simple peeling using nitric acid was applied for epidermal section. The results showed that stomata distribution, cork warts, sclereid, and presence of water storage type were potential anatomical features for species identification. In addition, stomata type and epidermal cell walls also have the same potential but are still doubtful, therefore it will need to be studied further to ensure the useful of those characters. The use of anatomical characters for mangrove species identification, especially when they are in the vegetative stage, can quickly determine taxa at certain level. Those potential characters are such as glandular and non-glandular trichomes on the leaf surface.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) merupakan pembangkit listrik yang memanfaatkan sinar matahari yang kemudian diubah menjadi energi listrik dengan bantuan sel surya. PLTS dipercaya merupakan salah satu sumber energi alternatif dimasa depan yang ramah lingkungan. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat telah mendorong munculnya berbagai inovasi, salah satunya adalah Internet of Things (IoT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat sebuah sistem kontrol yang dapat digunakan untuk memantau dan mengendalikan kinerja sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) secara real-time. Pada perancangan alat ini menggunakan komponen utama ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroller dan sensor PZEM 003. Data hasil pembacaan sensor ditampilkan pada display LCD 20x4 dan aplikasi mobile menggunakan platform ThingSpeak. Hasil Pengujian keseluruhan prototipe sistem monitoring PLTS berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) berfungsi dengan baik. Pada pengujian durasi pengiriman data didapatkan rata-rata selisih waktu pembacaan data dari alat ke aplikasi ThingSpeak sebesar 410ms. Alat yang dirancang memiliki tingkat akurasi yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pembacaan tegangan tingkat akurasi pembacaan tegangan oleh sensor PZEM 003 adalah 99,98%, tingkat akurasi pembacaan arus 98,08%, dan tingkat akurasi pembacaan daya 98,33%.

Abstract

Indonesia’s diverse topography, consisting of coasts, lowlands, highlands, and mountains, results in a wide range of weather and climate conditions, enabling various hydrological phenomena such as extreme rainfall, hurricanes, high temperatures, and storms. In recent years, global warming has emerged as a major environmental concern, with one of its significant impacts being climate change. This, in turn, increases the frequency and intensity of extreme hydrological events, potentially causing floods, transportation and communication disruptions, infrastructure damage, agricultural losses, and threats to human life. This study aims to identify the best model and estimate the return levels of extreme rainfall in Ngawi Regency from March 1990 to November 2022 using spatial extreme value analysis with max-stable processes and the extremal-t process. Daily rainfall data from 1990 - 2018 were used for model training, while data from 2018 - 2022 were allocated for model testing to validate predictive performance. Parameter estimation was conducted using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) and Maximum Pairwise Likelihood Estimation (MPLE), solved through the Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) Quasi-Newton numerical iteration method. The analysis shows that the best trend surface model has average rainfall and variance influenced by latitude, while the distribution shape is unaffected by latitude or longitude, indicating isotropy. Furthermore, the return level prediction demonstrates higher accuracy when applied over a three-year period.

Abstract

This research produced a product in the form of ethno-STEM-based digital teaching materials on renewable energy. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The development stage was limited to the development stage because this study focused on the content validity and design of ethno-STEM-based digital teaching materials on renewable energy. The purpose of this study was to produce teaching materials that were feasible and effective in fostering a love for the homeland in students. The results showed that the ethno-STEM-based digital teaching materials were developed in accordance with BSNP standards and digital media. The characteristics of the digital teaching materials produced lie in the holistic integration of the bamboo spinning top culture in the STEM approach. The material validity test results for the teaching materials obtained a score of 96.35%, and the media validity obtained a score of 97.41%. Thus, it can be stated that ethno-STEM teaching materials are suitable for use in learning. The teaching materials developed not only meet technical requirements but also have pedagogical potential in supporting physics learning that fosters a sense of patriotism through the integration of regional cultural potential. However, this study is limited to the development stage, so further studies are needed to test the effectiveness of teaching materials in fostering a sense of patriotism in students.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the development of scientific publication results on the application of playful learning and elementary school learning motivation. The method used in the study is an approach based on bibliometric analysis assisted by VOSviewer visualization. Data retrieval was carried out on the Scopus and Google Scholar databases with a range of 2015 to 2025. The search keywords used in the Scopus database are "Playful learning and motivation learning elementary school" and in the Google Scholar database "Playful learning and motivation learning elementary school". Based on the search results, there were 496 files and in the Google Scholar database, 1476 files were found. The results of the study prove that in the period 2015 to 2018 there was an insignificant increase and decrease. While in the Scopus database there was a very significant decrease in data in 2023-2024. The Google Scholar database also experienced a very sharp decrease in data in 2024-2025. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is one of the causes of the decline in the number of publications related to learning approaches and learning motivation. The visualization results of VOSviewer also show that in the Scopus database there are 21 Clusters that have a direct relationship to the implementation of playful learning and learning motivation and 1 Cluster is stated to have an indirect relationship. In the Google Scholar database, all clusters have a direct relationship. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui perkembangan hasil publikasi ilmiah tentang penerapan playful learning dan motivasi belajar sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yakni dengan pendekatan berbasis analisis Bibliometrik dengan berbantuan visualisasi VOSviewer. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada database Scopus dan Google Scholar dengan rentang tahun 2015 hingga 2025. Kata kunci pencarian yang digunakan pada database Scopus yakni “Playful learning and motivation learning elementary school” dan pada database Google Scholar “Playful learning dan motivasi belajar sekolah dasar”. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian terdapat 496 berkas dan pada database Google Scholar ditemukan sebanyak 1476 berkas. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pada rentang tahun 2015 hingga 2018 terjadi kenaikan dan penurunan yang tidak signifikan. Sedangkan pada database Scopus terjadi penurunan data yang sangat signifikan  pada tahun 2023-2024. Pada database Google Scholar juga mengalami penurunan data sangat tajam pada tahun 2024-2025. AI (Artificial Intelligence) menjadi salah satu penyebab menurunnya jumlah publikasi terkait pendekatan pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar. Hasil visualisasi VOSviewer juga menunjukkan bahwa pada database Scopus terdapat 21 Cluster yang memiliki hubungan langsung pada penerapan playful learning dan motivasi belajar dan 1 Cluster dinyatakan memiliki hubungan tidak langsung. Pada database Google Scholar, smua cluster memiliki hubungan secara langsung.

Abstract

The industrial world has been increasingly using robots for production purposes. One type of robot used is a line follower robot for the purposes of transportation of production materials. Various researches and competitions of line follower robots were held to improve its performance. This study proposed a fuzzy logic algorithm using Sugeno method for a line follower mobile robot. This algorithm received input from the readings of 8 sensors mounted on the bottom of the robot and generated the speed of each left and right motor. This speed was used to keep the robot on track. The performance of this algorithm was compared with the fuzzy logic algorithm of the Mamdani method. The proposed fuzzy logic algorithm was better in terms of speed. The results of this study can be used as material to study the application of fuzzy logic algorithm in real time.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of maritime and Islamic values ​​and their relevance as a basis for developing an Islamic education curriculum in coastal areas. The study used a qualitative approach with  thematic library research. Data were obtained from reputable journal articles, academic books, research reports, and policy documents relevant to Islamic education, coastal local wisdom, and maritime values, published in the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted using the Braun and Clarke thematic analysis model through the stages of coding, grouping themes, and interpreting meaning. The results show that maritime values ​​such as work ethic, discipline, courage, social solidarity, and ecological concern have substantial alignment with Islamic values, especially the concepts of caliph, trustworthiness, gratitude, hard work, and the prohibition of environmental damage. The integration of these values ​​is relevant for developing a coastal Islamic education curriculum that is contextual, ecological, and oriented towards the formation of students' religious-social character.
