Abstract

This study conducts a comprehensive analysis of Bitcoin-related tweets to understand sentiment trends and patterns using TF-IDF vectorization and K-means clustering. The dataset, comprising 1,544 unique tweets, was collected via the Twitter API and preprocessed to remove duplicates and clean the text. Sentiment analysis revealed a distribution of 53.7% neutral, 29.7% positive, and 16.6% negative tweets, indicating a predominant neutral sentiment in the discourse. Keyword analysis identified frequent terms such as 'bitcoin' (479 occurrences), 'new' (46), 'good' (43), 'crypto' (39), and 'trade' (39). Visualizations through word clouds highlighted the specific language associated with each sentiment category, with positive tweets focusing on opportunities and innovation, while negative tweets emphasized risks and scams. Cluster analysis using K-means, with the optimal number of clusters determined by the elbow method, resulted in three distinct clusters. Cluster 0, comprising 1,346 tweets, was characterized by neutral and informative content, focusing on market updates and trading strategies. Cluster 1, with 163 tweets, contained a higher concentration of positive sentiment, highlighting positive developments and investment opportunities. Cluster 2, the smallest with 35 tweets, focused on negative sentiment, reflecting concerns about market volatility and fraudulent activities. These clusters provided a nuanced understanding of the thematic composition of Bitcoin-related tweets. The study's findings have practical implications for investors, traders, and market analysts by providing insights into market mood and sentiment trends. The integration of these findings into predictive models can enhance market prediction accuracy and develop more effective trading strategies. Despite the study's contributions, limitations such as the dataset's language and scope suggest areas for future research, including real-time sentiment analysis and the incorporation of multimodal data sources. This research advances the field of sentiment analysis in financial markets, particularly within the context of cryptocurrencies, by offering a detailed and longitudinal examination of social media sentiment.

Abstract

This study explores the emerging virtual property market within the digital world, with a focus on identifying the key factors influencing property prices, market activity, and sales volume. Using a dataset of 2,000 virtual property transactions, the research provides a comprehensive analysis of market dynamics in this new frontier of digital real estate. The findings reveal significant volatility in transaction activity, with a peak of 1,222 transactions in January 2022 followed by a sharp decline to 539 in February 2022 and just 24 in March 2022, indicative of a nascent and speculative market. The analysis identifies land price as the most significant determinant of virtual property values, showing a near-perfect correlation of 0.992 with sales prices. This highlights the critical role of location and land value, similar to traditional real estate markets. Additionally, the study finds that properties attracting more bids tend to sell at higher prices, with a moderate correlation of 0.380 between bids count and sales price, reflecting the impact of competitive bidding in driving up values. However, the market is relatively illiquid, with a mean sales count of just 1.79, indicating that most properties are held as long-term investments rather than frequently traded assets. Interestingly, the research also uncovers a weak negative correlation of -0.051 between sales price and the underlying cryptocurrency, MANA, suggesting that the value of virtual properties may be increasingly decoupled from cryptocurrency volatility as the market matures. These insights provide valuable guidance for investors, developers, and policymakers navigating the evolving landscape of virtual real estate. The study concludes with a discussion of the implications for future market stability and potential areas for further research.

Abstract

Prolonged exposure to smartphones has caused many children to become dependent on digital devices as a primary source of entertainment. This condition has been linked to a decline in children's social sensitivity and interaction skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in enhancing social skills among early childhood learners. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach, and the validity of findings was ensured through data triangulation. The results indicate that the integration of the Pancasila Student Profile in classroom activities has positively influenced the development of children's social skills, particularly in peer interactions. These findings suggest that the P5 initiative can serve as a valuable foundation not only for fostering social skills but also for supporting broader aspects of early childhood development.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of machine learning for classifying vehicles based on their technical specifications using the Random Forest algorithm. The objective was to create a robust classification model capable of categorizing vehicles into six distinct classes: Hybrid, SUV, Sedan, Sports, Truck, and Wagon. The analysis was conducted using a comprehensive dataset that included features such as engine size, horsepower, weight, and fuel efficiency, along with the target variable, vehicle class. To address the issue of class imbalance, the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied to balance the training data. The results showed that the model performed particularly well in classifying Sedans, achieving a perfect recall and high F1-score, while struggling with underrepresented classes like Hybrid and Wagon. Despite applying SMOTE, the model’s performance for minority classes remained suboptimal, highlighting the challenges associated with highly imbalanced datasets. The study contributes to the field of vehicle classification by demonstrating the use of Random Forest for such tasks and providing insights into the challenges posed by imbalanced class distributions. The findings underscore the importance of feature selection, especially regarding numerical attributes such as horsepower and engine size, in improving classification accuracy. However, the study also identified limitations, including potential biases in the dataset and the difficulty in improving performance for minority vehicle classes. Future research should explore alternative algorithms like XGBoost or deep learning models, and consider expanding the dataset to include more diverse vehicle types. The practical implications of this work are significant for vehicle market segmentation, offering valuable insights for manufacturers, dealerships, and analysts seeking to optimize vehicle classification and improve market targeting strategies.

Abstract

The tailings produced from the previous processing are known to still contain valuable minerals such as cassiterite (SnO2), as well as associated minerals such as Fe, ilmenite, and zircon. Therefore, a beneficiation process is needed to optimize tin recovery and minimize the loss of valuable minerals. The beneficiation process includes sampling, sample reduction, grinding using a rod mill, and separation of valuable minerals using a shaking table and wet magnetic separator, as well as X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. The XRF results of primary tin concentrate beneficiation using a shaking table increased the Sn content from 0.736-1.259% to 20-18.99% with a recovery of 1.779-7.456%. Magnetic separation of 40 kg of feed produced magnetic fractions of 5.7 kg and 18 kg, with Fe grades of 8.96–8.99% and Sn up to 4.90%. The grade increase was achieved, but Fe separation was still not optimal because some magnetic minerals were carried over to the non-magnetic fraction.

Abstract

The elderly population is increasing rapidly worldwide, including in Indonesia, leading to significant health, social, and economic implications. The aging process often leads to physical, psychological, and social changes that can negatively affect quality of life. Thus, ensuring a high quality of life is crucial for achieving successful aging. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the quality of life and successful aging among elderly individuals in Cimahi City. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 128 elderly participants, selected proportionally WHOQOL-BREF and SAS should be briefly explained with full names in parentheses when first mentioned for clarity to readers unfamiliar with them. Was used to assess quality of life, while the Successful Aging Scale (SAS) was employed to evaluate successful aging. Bivariate analysis was performed using the Chi-square test at a significance level of p<0.05. A significant relationship was found between successful aging and the physical (p=0.003), psychological (p=0.000), and environmental (p=0.002) domains of quality of life. However, no significant association was observed in the social domain (p=0.114). The results suggest that physical health, psychological well-being, and environmental support are key factors contributing to successful aging. Social relationships, though important, did not show a statistically significant impact in this study. Health interventions and policies aimed at promoting successful aging should prioritize improving the quality of life for the elderly, particularly by enhancing physical and mental health and ensuring a supportive and secure living environment.
