Independem character education is not only taught at home, but can he taught through education at school. Independent character values become one of the main things in learning in the classroom and outside the classroom. Thus, students are expected to have the habit of not depending on others. The purpose of this research is to explain the implementation of strengthening students' independent character education in learning and explain the supporting and inhibiting factors in strengthening students independent character education in learning at SDN 03 Widodaren Gerih Ngawi. Data collection techniques used: observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity test using constancy of observation and source triangulation. Data was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, verification/conclusion. The results of the research produced are: the implementation of strengthening independent character education is implemented through three bases, namely class base, school culture base, and community base. Supporting factors consist of human resources: task force; internal factors such as gender, intelligence, and development need further research to prove it; External factors such as parenting and social culture can also support students' independent character. The inhibiting factors consist of: dynamic human nature; as a result of the times; internal factors such as gender, intelligence, and development require rather research: External factors such as parenting and social factors that are not good will provide obstacles in strengthening student character education. ABSTRAKPendidikan karakter mandiri bukan hanya diajarkan di rumah saja, melainkan dapat diajarkan melalui pendidikan di sekolah. Nilai-nilai karakter mandiri menjadi salah satu hal yang utama dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Sehingga, peserta didik diharapkan memiliki kebiasaan tidak tergantung kepada orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menjelaskan implementasi penguatan pendidikan. karakter mandiri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dan menjelaskan. faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter mandiri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran di SDN 03 Widodaren Gerih Ngawi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan menggunakan keajegan pengamatan dan triangulasi sumber. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini: implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter mandiri terimplementasi melalui tiga basis, yaitu basis kelas, basis budaya sekolah, dan basis masyarakat. Faktor pendukung terdiri dari: sumber daya manusia; satuan tugas; faktor internal seperti jenis kelamin, kecerdasan, dan perkembangan, butuh penelitian lebih lanjut untuk membuktikannya; faktor eksternal seperti pola asuh dan sosial budaya dapat mendukung karakter mandiri peserta didik. Faktor penghambat terdiri dari: sifat manusia yang dinamis; akibat perkembangan zaman; faktor internal seperti jenis kelamin, kecerdasan, dan perkembangan membutuhkan penelitian lebih jauh; faktor eksternal seperti pola asuh dan sosial yang kurang baik akan memberikan hambatan dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik
