Abstract

This study aims to find out how profitability, leverage, liquidity, activity, and cash holding affect firm value with firm size as the moderating variable which are recorded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2021. The sample was collected using a method called purposive sampling and the validated data was 60 companies. The technique used to process the data uses multiple regression analysis aided by the Eviews version 13 program. The results of this study show that profitability, liquidity, and firm size do not affect firm value. Meanwhile, leverage, activity, and cash holding affect firm value. Firm size cannot moderate its effect on firm value. The implication of this research is the need to improve the quality of management in the company which can increment firm value, so that it can provide positive signs for investors.

Abstract

Immunization is one of the most effective preventive efforts in reducing morbidity and mortality caused by infectious diseases in children under five years of age. Although the immunization program has long been implemented by the government, a lack of awareness among some mothers regarding the importance of mandatory immunization is still observed. This may be due to limited access to information, misconceptions, or insufficient health education. This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding of mothers of toddlers about the importance of immunization through an educational approach conducted directly at the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) within the working area of Umbansari Public Health Center. The activity involved health education sessions, interactive discussions, and the distribution of educational media such as leaflets. The primary target was mothers with children aged 0–5 years. The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge, with the average pre-test score increasing from 60 to 80 in the post-test. These findings indicate the effectiveness of community-based educational approaches in raising mothers' awareness about the importance of mandatory immunization. It is expected that similar activities can be implemented sustainably as part of strategies to improve the coverage of basic immunization programs.

Abstract

The dole-dole tradition is a form of local wisdom of the Buton people that has been passed down from generation to generation and is full of cultural, spiritual and health values. The procession focuses on the ritual of child recovery and protection, with a series of stages such as massaging using coconut oil, rolling on banana leaves, and bathing with a mixture of sea water, fresh water, and medicinal plants. This study aims to assess the potential of dole-dole as a local wisdom-based learning resource in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) at the Junior High School (SMP) level. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative through literature review, participatory observation, and interviews with traditional leaders (bhisa) and local culturists. The results showed that elements in the dole-dole tradition reflect various science concepts, such as the human organ system, heat and heat transfer, force and motion, substances and their properties, mixtures and solutions, and biodiversity. Thus, the dole-dole tradition has the potential to be an alternative contextual learning resource that can integrate science and local culture. This integration not only improves students' understanding of science concepts in a more meaningful way, but also fosters a sense of love for local culture and the surrounding environment. ABSTRAKTradisi dole-dole merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal masyarakat Buton yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan sarat dengan nilai-nilai budaya, spiritual, dan kesehatan. Prosesi ini berfokus pada ritual pemulihan dan perlindungan anak, dengan serangkaian tahapan seperti pemijatan menggunakan minyak kelapa, penggulingan di atas daun pisang, serta mandi dengan campuran air laut, air tawar, dan tumbuhan obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi dole-dole sebagai sumber belajar berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui kajian literatur, observasi partisipatif, dan wawancara dengan tokoh adat (bhisa) serta budayawan lokal. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa unsur-unsur dalam tradisi dole-dole mencerminkan berbagai konsep IPA, seperti sistem organ tubuh manusia, kalor dan perpindahan panas, gaya dan gerak, zat dan sifatnya, campuran dan larutan, serta keanekaragaman hayati. Dengan demikian, tradisi dole-dole sangat berpotensi menjadi alternatif sumber belajar kontekstual yang dapat mengintegrasikan sains dan budaya lokal. Integrasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep-konsep IPA secara lebih bermakna, melainkan juga menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap budaya lokal dan lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

Electric power distribution to consumers requires periodic preventive maintenance, including thermal inspection of electrical components. An efficient maintenance strategy can save an industry from potential hazards and devastating losses. Therefore, monitoring the temperature of electrical components is crucial to prevent excessive heat that can lead to fires. This research aims to analyze the detection of electrical component damage in consumer distribution networks using IR Thermography for consumer electric network maintenance. The method involves capturing thermal images of targeted hotspots in various components within the consumer distribution substation. The observed components include transformer 2500 kVA connections, connections in the Low Voltage Main Distribution Panle (LVMDP), connections in the Capacitor Bank, and the Panel Change Over Switch (COS). The acquired data is then processed using Smart View software for analysis, categorization, and recommendations. The results reveal the highest temperatures recorded were 91.0°C in the transformer 2500 kVA, specifically in Phase R, and 71.8°C in the LVMDP panel, in Phase T. These findings indicate that the main causes of temperature rise are load imbalance in the transformer and connection failure in the breaker junction.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and readability of a biology teaching module with the theme of Biodiversity in the Intertidal Zone for Phase E (class X SMA/MA) which is contextually based and aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The background of this research is based on the lack of biology teaching materials that raise local environmental issues and are in accordance with the level of understanding of students. This research is a development research (R&D) using the 4-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) with three main types of instruments: (1) content and construction validation sheet by experts, (2) readability questionnaire by students, and (3) material presentation and language comprehension questionnaire by biology teachers. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively using the Aiken V formula and the calculation of the average readability score. The validation results showed that the module had very high validity in 10 out of 11 indicators, with only one indicator in the high validity category, namely the visualization aspect. The average readability score of students was in the good category, especially on the indicators of content understanding and illustration assistance. Meanwhile, teachers stated that the language in the module was in accordance with the level of cognitive development of students, although there were notes on the need for deepening the material to strengthen conceptual understanding. Thus, this teaching module is declared feasible and relevant for use in learning biology, but requires improvement in the aspects of content depth, term selection, and assessment diversity to support optimal readability and independent learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi kelayakan serta tingkat keterbacaan modul ajar biologi tentang Keanekaragaman Hayati di Zona Intertidal untuk Fase E (kelas X SMA/MA) yang berbasis kontekstual dan selaras dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada minimnya bahan ajar biologi yang mengangkat isu lingkungan lokal dan sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate) dengan tiga jenis instrumen utama: (1) lembar validasi isi dan konstruksi oleh para ahli, (2) angket keterbacaan oleh peserta didik, dan (3) kuesioner penyajian materi dan pemahaman bahasa oleh guru biologi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan rumus Aiken V dan perhitungan rerata skor keterbacaan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul memiliki validitas sangat tinggi pada 10 dari 11 indikator, dengan hanya satu indikator yang berada pada kategori validitas tinggi, yaitu aspek visualisasi. Rata-rata skor keterbacaan peserta didik berada dalam kategori baik, terutama pada indikator pemahaman isi dan bantuan ilustrasi. Sementara itu, guru menyatakan bahwa bahasa dalam modul sudah sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan kognitif peserta didik, meskipun terdapat catatan perlunya pendalaman materi untuk memperkuat pemahaman konseptual. Dengan demikian, modul ajar ini dinyatakan layak dan relevan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi, namun memerlukan perbaikan pada aspek kedalaman konten, pemilihan istilah, dan keberagaman asesmen guna mendukung keterbacaan dan pembelajaran mandiri secara optimal.

Abstract

This study intends to examine how public accountants' interest in pursuing CPA certification is influenced by their motivational factors, including quality motivation, economic motivation, social motivation, and career motivation. There are 71 public accountants who responded to this study by purposeful sampling. The application SmartPLS was used to test the hypothesis. According to the study, quality motivation and career motivation did not have a significant influence on the public accountant's interest in obtaining CPA certification, while economic motivations and social motivation had a significant impact on public accountants' interest in getting CPA.

Abstract

The objective of this training program is to offer instruction in promissory note accounting to grade XII students specializing in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Kristen Yusuf. These students have not been exposed to this subject in their school curriculum. The training session took place on May 2, 2025, with a total of 21 students in attendance. The instructional methods utilized included theoretical explanations presented through modules, practice questions, facilitated discussions, and quizzes for feedback. As a result of the training, students exhibited a marked improvement in their comprehension of promissory note accounting concepts and demonstrated active engagement in the learning process. The overall outcome of the program was deemed successful in providing students with a foundational understanding of promissory note accounting principles. It is recommended that similar training sessions be conducted in the future, targeting a broader audience and extending the duration of the program for enhanced educational impact.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance at the District Office of Kapuas Subdistrict, Sanggau Regency. The background of this research arises from the phenomenon that some employees still lack discipline in carrying out their duties, which affects the level of job satisfaction and in turn reduces the quality of public services. The research method employed was a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 30 employees determined through saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire constructed based on indicators of job satisfaction, work discipline, and employee performance. Data were analyzed with the assistance of SPSS version 23 through validity testing, reliability testing, regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-count value of 4.529 > t-table 1.703 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Work discipline also had a positive but not significant effect on performance, with a t-count of 1.721 > t-table 1.703 and a significance level of 0.097 > 0.05. Simultaneously, job satisfaction and work discipline had a significant effect on employee performance, with an F-count value of 20.606 > F-table 2.51 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.604 indicated that 60.4% of the variation in employee performance was explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 39.6% was influenced by other factors outside this study. It can be concluded that improving employee performance in subdistrict offices can be achieved through enhancing job satisfaction, for instance by providing adequate work facilities such as desks and chairs, creating a comfortable work environment, granting recognition, as well as enforcing consistent work discipline. This study is expected to serve as a reference for local governments in formulating more effective human resource management policies.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) on the stock prices of conventional banking entities listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2023 period. The independent variables used are the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL), while the dependent variable is the stock price, taken from the closing price on May 31 of the following year (t+1). The sample consists of 33 financial reports from companies with positive net income for three consecutive periods, resulting in a total of 99 data points that meet the research criteria for conventional banking entities listed on the IDX during the 2021-2023 period. This research employs a causal method with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the findings, individually, the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) have a negative impact on stock prices, while the Net Profit Margin (NPM) has no impact on stock prices. The Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) collectively have a simultaneous impact on stock prices. Digunakan variabel independen Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), serta harga saham yang diambil dari harga penutupan (31 Mei t+1) sebagai variabel dependen. Terdapat 33 data sampel laporan keuangan perusahaan dengan kriteria laba bersih positif selama 3 periode berturut-turut, dengan total 99 data yang memenuhi kriteria sampel riset pada entitas perbankan konvensional tercatat diBEI selama 2021-2023. Metode riset ini berjenis kausalitas dengan uji analisa regresi linear berganda. Berdasar temuan pengujian secara individu LDR, CAR dan NPL berdampak negatif pada harga saham, NPM tidak ada dampak pada harga saham. Sedangkan LDR, CAR, NPM serta NPL memberikan dampak secara simultan pada harga saham.

Abstract

Manajemen peserta didik dalam lembaga pendidikan Buddhis berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter holistik peserta didik melalui integrasi nilai-nilai moralitas (sīla), konsentrasi (samādhi), dan kebijaksanaan (paññā) dalam lingkungan belajar yang harmonis dan bermakna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan, mengolah, dan menyimpulkan data dari berbagai sumber yang relevan guna menemukan jawaban atas permasalahan yang dikaji. Penelitian ini mengkaji manajemen peserta didik berbasis nilai-nilai Buddhis dalam mewujudkan pendidikan holistik yang menekankan pengembangan akademik, moral, dan spiritual secara seimbang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mencakup kepemimpinan spiritual, pembelajaran interaktif, serta keterlibatan guru, siswa, dan orang tua dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang harmonis. Nilai-nilai Buddhis seperti etika, konsentrasi, dan kebijaksanaan menjadi dasar pembentukan karakter dan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna.
