Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) berbantuan media Hide and Seek Puzzle terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 040447 Kabanjahe. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa akibat kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran serta minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain two group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model SETS berbantuan media Hide and Seek Puzzle, serta kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penggunaan model pembelajaran SETS yang dipadukan dengan media Hide and Seek Puzzle mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS, terutama pada materi “Energi dan Perubahannya”. Model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat, motivasi, serta minat belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran yang bermakna, kontekstual, dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, model SETS berbantuan media Hide and Seek Puzzle dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui validitas media pembelajaran, mengetahui kepraktisan media pembelajaran dan mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Adapun jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi terhadap media pembelajaran berbantuan powtoon diperoleh skor dengan persentase 73% dengan kriteria “Layak”. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media diperoleh skor dengan persentase 88,33% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Hasil penilaian media oleh guru diperoleh skor dengan persentase 91,6% dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis”.  Berdasarkan hasil implementasi ditemukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, dimana rata-rata hasil belajar pada pre test  yaitu 52,19 sedangkan rata-rata  pada post test yaitu 80. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media berbantuan powtoon di kelas VI pada materi perubahan wujud benda ini efektif digunakan. Hal ini terbukti dari rata-rata skor N-Gain persen sebesar 57,91 dengan kategori “Cukup Efektif”.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Flash Card Comic learning media for "Greetings and Leave Taking" material in Grade IV at SDN 060872 Medan. This study utilizes the Research and Development (R&D) method following the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this research include media experts, material experts, educational practitioners, and 20 fourth-grade students. The object of the research is the Flash Card Comic media, designed to improve students' understanding of English greetings and farewell expressions. The results of the study indicate that in terms of feasibility, the media obtained a score of 81.81% from media experts ("Feasible" category) and 93.3% from material experts ("Highly Feasible" category). In terms of practicality, questionnaire results showed that the media was rated as "Highly Practical" by educational practitioners. Regarding effectiveness, based on a comparison of pre-test and post-test scores, there was an increase in the average score from 39.75% to 73.75%. Based on an N-Gain analysis of 57.18%, the Flash Card Comic media is categorized as "Effective" in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran story book yang layak, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model 4D. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan siswa kelas III SDN 101776 Sampali yang berjumlah 18 orang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah media story book. Instrumen mengumpulkan data yaitu angket observasi, wawancara guru, angket validasi materi dan media, angket kepraktisan media oleh praktisi pendidikan, angket respon siswa dan tes pilihan berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kelayakan produk media pembelajaran story book berdasarkan penlaian ahli materi dan media memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 88,33% dan 92,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. (2) kepraktisan media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil penilaian guru 91,6% tergolong sangat praktis dan skor kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil respon siswa adalah 90,12% dalam hal ini tergolong sangat praktis. (3) keefektifan media pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil nilai pre-test dan post-test siswa. Nilai pre-test menunjukkan keefektifan hanya pada 48,61% kategori œTidak Efektif sedangkan pada hasil nilai post-test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 85,27% kategori œEfektif. Beradasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran story book berbasis contextual teaching and learning (CTL) ini dinyatakan layak, praktis dan efektif untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes using multimedia-based learning media on Theme 3 Sub-theme 1 Class V at SD Negeri 050629 Tanjung Langkat FY 2022/2023. The research location was carried out at SD Negeri 050629 Tanjung Langkat, which consists of 2 classes, namely: Class VA (Experimental Class) and Class VB (Control Class). In class V A with a total of 20 students and class VB with a total of 20 students. The sample collection technique is Total Sampling, namely sample selection where the entire population is selected as the sample. This type of research is. The data collection tool used to determine learning outcomes is an objective test with 30 questions whose validity and reliability have been tested. From the analysis of data from 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class, the experimental class average was 53.75 for Pre-Test and 79.25 for Post-Test, while for the control class the average for Pre-Test was 42.2 and Post-Test. -Test 65.3. At the significant level x= 0.05. Both classes have a normal distribution because Lottable, namely 2.185>1.685. The author concludes that there is a significant influence from multimedia-based learning media on Theme 3 Subtheme 1 Class V at SD Negeri 050629 Tanjung Langkat FY 2022/2023.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Multimedia Based Learning Media

Abstract

Analysis of Teacher Skills in Guiding Small Group Discussions by Applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Model in Social Science Subjects in Class V of Elementary Schools in Hamparan Perak District T.A 2023/2024. Thesis. Medan: Faculty of Education, Medan State University, 2024. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the level of teacher skills in guiding small group discussions by applying the jigsaw type cooperative model in science and science subjects in class V of SDN in Hamparan Perak District T.A 2023/2024. The research method used is quantitative-descriptive research. The research population consisted of 62 state elementary schools and class V teachers in Hamparan Perak District. The research sample consisted of 6 class V teachers at SDN Hamparan Perak District. Data was collected using observations during three meetings in the learning process, then the data was analyzed using quantitative analysis methods by calculating numbers and then describing them using sentences. The results of the research during three meetings showed that the teacher's skills in guiding small group discussions by applying the jigsaw type cooperative model in the science and sciences subject in class V of SDN in Hamparan Perak District T.A 2023/2024 were in the "very good" category with a percentage of 28% and the category œgood with a percentage of 72%. Based on the results of observations from the three meetings that were held, the six teachers showed improvements which of course varied from the first meeting to the third meeting.Keywords: Skills for Guiding Small Group Discussions, Jigsaw Type Cooperative Model, Teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' learning habits on learning outcomes in IPAS subjects regarding Chapter 5 learning material on How We Live and Grow in class V SDN 106811 Bandar Setia. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population of this study was the entire fifth grade of SDN 106811 Bandar Setia with a total of 28 students with a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing 20 multiple choice questions and 24 item questionnaires with a Likert scale, while the analysis technique was descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of student study habits is categorized as moderate with a value of 59.48%. This is evidenced from the value of student study habits in class V SDN 106811 Bandar Setia in the Delay Avoidant sub variable (readiness in learning) of 60.76% including in the high category and the Work Methods sub variable (work methods in learning) with a percentage value of 58.21% including in the medium category. Meanwhile, the data on student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects regarding Chapter 5 learning material on How We Live and Grow obtained an average result of 72.32 which is included in the œsufficient category. So it can be concluded that student learning habits are classified as moderate towards student learning outcomes below the KKM of class V SDN 106811 Bandar Setia.Keywords: Analysis of Student Study Habits, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to produce Big Book learning media that is valid, practical and effective in training students' thinking skills in class V at SDN 091324 Merek Raya. This research is development research that uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this research were class V teachers and class V students at SD Negeri 091324 Merek Raya. The object of research in this study is the validation, practicality and effectiveness of the Big Book learning media in training students' thinking skills. The data collection techniques used are interviews, tests, observation and documentation. The instruments used in data collection were teacher interview instruments, media design and media material validation questionnaires, educational practitioner questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and test questions. The results of the research show that the validation results by media design expert validators obtained an average score of 4.7 with a percentage result of 89% in the "Very Eligible" category and validation results by media material expert validators obtained an average value of 4.3 with a percentage result of 86% œVery Decent category. The practicality test using teacher responses obtained a percentage result of 87% in the "Very Practical" category and the students' responses obtained an average score of 4.59 in the "Very Practical" category. Testing the effectiveness of the media, it can be seen that after using what was developed, students' thinking skills increased from students' thinking skills before using the media, namely 61% in the "Quite Effective" category, increasing to 86% in the "Very Effective" category and the students' average score increased from the initial average. The average before using the media was 61.15 with the "Not Complete" completion criteria increasing to 86.54 with the "Complete" completion criteria.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the change in curriculum from K13 to Merdeka Curriculum, especially in changing the lesson plan learning tools to Teaching Modules. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the independent curriculum in terms of teacher planning in preparing teaching modules at SDIT Al Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research are the principal, grade I teacher and grade V teacher. While the object of research is teacher planning in preparing teaching modules for the independent curriculum. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that teacher planning for teaching modules is carried out in stages, 1) teachers are given training by the school, 2) teachers discuss and learn together with other teachers at school or in KKG. The obstacles faced by teachers in designing teaching modules, namely teachers are constrained in time, teachers are confused in determining learning methods, and teachers must adjust to the phase of learner development. To overcome these obstacles, the school again provides guidance and training to teachers to be able to plan the preparation of teaching modules appropriately.Keywords: Teacher Planning, Teaching Modules, Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang akan digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran berbantuan web google sitses pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas V di SD Negeri 106811Bandar Setia. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 22 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 106811Bandar setia. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan atau Reseach and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), tahap desain (design), tahap pengembangan (development), tahap implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket validasi materi, angket validasi desain media, angket praktikalitas pendidikan dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran berbantuan web google sites pada materi sistem pencernaan kelas V di SD Negeri 106811 Bandar Setia, pada validasi materi memperoleh nilai presentase 85% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” sedangkan ahli media memperoleh presentase 90% masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” sehingga media layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada uji kepraktisan diperoleh dari tanggapan guru melalui angket yang diberikan dengan nilai presentase 94% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Uji efektivitas melalui pretest dan posttest menunjukkan N-gain rata-rata 68,2%, yang tergolong kategori “efektif”.
