Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies implemented by the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) JEMARI SAKATO in increasing active community participation in the development process in Padang City. Community participation is considered an important factor in realizing inclusive and sustainable development. By utilizing a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores the various efforts and methods taken by JEMARI SAKATO in encouraging community participation in the planning, implementation, and monitoring stages of development programs. The results of the study revealed that JEMARI SAKATO implemented various strategies such as community assistance, public discussion forums, policy advocacy, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The effectiveness of these strategies was analyzed based on the level of community participation achieved, the perceived impact of the development program, and the challenges and opportunities faced by NGOs in their implementation. These findings are expected to enrich the understanding of the strategic role of NGOs in facilitating community participation in local development and provide practical recommendations for strengthening similar roles in other urban contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of the Self-Training feature on the Ruang GTK Platform on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Manggala District, Makassar City. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 75 teachers. The results showed that both the use of the Self-Training feature and teachers’ pedagogical competence were in the high category. Regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence between the two variables, with a contribution of 46%. These findings support digital platforms as effective tools for teacher professional development.

Abstract

This study explores the lesson planning practices of an English lecturer at Universitas Hafsawaty who teaches English for healthcare students. The findings indicate that the lecturer adopts a contextual and profession-oriented approach, aligning language instruction with medical content and professional communication needs. The lesson plans incorporate materials from health journals, clinical simulations, and academic writing tasks, aiming to enhance both linguistic proficiency and professional relevance. Instructional strategies such as scaffolded learning and multimodal media use are applied to accommodate students’ diverse English proficiency levels. The discussion highlights the integration of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) frameworks, emphasizing experiential learning and interdisciplinary collaboration. Overall, the study underscores the importance of context-driven lesson planning and the need for institutional support in developing English instruction tailored to professional domains.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan dalam pemesanan tiket dan akomodasi perjalanan dinas di PT Sigma Cipta Utama. Selama ini, proses tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan berbagai kendala seperti keterlambatan, kesalahan komunikasi, serta kekeliruan dalam pendokumentasian. Dengan pendekatan studi literatur, observasi langsung, wawancara, dan perancangan sistem, dikembangkanlah sistem terintegrasi berbasis web yang mampu menangani proses pengajuan, verifikasi, hingga dokumentasi perjalanan dinas. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan perjalanan dinas perusahaan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce body repair tools and provide basic training on car body repair techniques to Automotive Engineering students at SMK Al Jabar Batam. The program is designed to meet the needs of the automotive industry, which increasingly requires practical skills in car body repair. The training covers the basic theory of various body repair tools used in the industry, as well as the basic techniques applied in car body repair, which includes the process of painting, shaping, and finishing the car body. The methodology used in this training includes theoretical sessions that review the tools used in body repair and safe working procedures. Furthermore, hands-on practical sessions were given to allow students to practice the skills they have learned. This activity was conducted in stages, starting with the introduction of tools and ending with car body repair techniques that comply with automotive industry standards. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is also taught to ensure students' safety during the training process. The expected outcome of this training is the improvement of students' practical skills in using body repair tools and their ability to repair car bodies. With these skills, students are expected to be ready to enter the workforce and have higher competitiveness in the automotive industry. This program also aims to improve the students' readiness for the automotive industry.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an innovative modification of traditional Indonesian food, Putu Mayang, by utilizing sohun (mung bean starch noodles) and angkak (red fermented rice) as a natural colorant with added health benefits. Putu Mayang is traditionally made from rice flour and synthetic coloring, but this study replaces the base with sohun to create a gluten-free alternative, while incorporating angkak to enhance its nutritional value and sensory appeal. Using a qualitative approach combined with literature review and simple experimental testing, this study assesses the product’s nutritional composition, organoleptic qualities (taste, texture, aroma, and color), and potential health impacts. The results showed that angkak contributes a distinctive natural red hue and imparts a warm, pleasant aroma to the cake. Nutritionally, the product contains complex carbohydrates, plant-based fats, fiber, antioxidants, and monacolin K, which is known to help lower LDL cholesterol and improve cardiovascular health. Organoleptic tests revealed positive responses, especially in terms of texture (soft and chewy) and taste (sweet and savory balance). However, limitations include color stability over time and the relatively higher cost of natural ingredients. This innovation presents a promising alternative to traditional snacks by combining culinary heritage with functional health benefits. The angkak-based Sohun Putu Mayang is suitable for consumption across generations, providing both cultural value and nutritional enrichment in a single dish

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh latihan shuttle run dan circuit training terhadap peningkatan VO2Max pada pemain bulutangkis di sebuah klub. VO2Max merupakan indikator kapasitas kardiorespirasi yang sangat penting dalam menunjang stamina dan performa atlet bulutangkis, mengingat olahraga ini membutuhkan daya tahan dan kelincahan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan membagi peserta menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok latihan shuttle run dan kelompok latihan circuit training. Pengukuran VO2Max dilakukan menggunakan Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode latihan secara signifikan meningkatkan VO2Max peserta, namun peningkatan yang lebih optimal terjadi pada kelompok circuit training. Hal ini disebabkan oleh circuit training yang melibatkan beberapa stasiun latihan secara sistematis dan berulang sehingga memberikan adaptasi fisiologis yang lebih luas pada sistem kardiovaskular. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa penggabungan kedua metode latihan dapat menjadi program latihan efektif untuk meningkatkan daya tahan atlet bulutangkis. Selain itu, penelitian ini turut menguatkan pentingnya latihan terstruktur untuk menunjang prestasi olahraga serta kesehatan fisik

Abstract

Flat foot merupakan kondisi menurunnya atau hilangnya lengkungan medial kaki (arcus pedis), yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan fungsi postur dan biomekanik. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh latihan Ball Roll Exercise dan Short Foot Exercise dalam meningkatkan arcus pedis pada siswa dengan flat foot. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test two group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa SD Negeri Semarangan 5 yang mengalami flat foot. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan footprint test dan Clarke’s angle sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Kelompok pertama diberikan Ball Roll Exercise, sedangkan kelompok kedua mendapatkan Short Foot Exercise, masing-masing selama 4 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali per minggu. Hasil: Uji hipotesis I dan II menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh ball roll exercise dan short foot exercise terhadap peningkatan arcus pedis pada siswa SD Negeri Semarangan 5 (P=0,00 P<0,05). Uji hipotesis III menggunakan independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa short foot exercise lebih berpengaruh dari ball roll exercise terhadap peningkatan arcus pedis pada siswa SD Negeri Semarangan 5. (P=0,012 P<0,05). Pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan arcus pedis. Namun, terdapat perbedaan tingkat efektivitas antara kedua metode latihan tersebut. Simpulan: short foot exercise lebih berpengaruh dari ball roll exercise terhadap peningkatan arcus pedis pada siswa SD Negeri Semarangan 5. Saran: Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan referensi bagi fisioterapis dan institusi pendidikan dasar dalam memilih metode latihan yang sesuai untuk menangani kasus flat foot pada anak usia sekolah.

Abstract

This article explores the foundational principles of Islamic educational management through the Qur’anic interpretations of Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. Responding to the contemporary challenges of globalization and the urgency to ground education in Qur’anic values, the study employs a library research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The analysis focuses on three key principles: justice (Q.S. Ar-Rahman: 7–9), sincerity (Q.S. Al-Bayyinah: 5), and trustworthiness (Q.S. An-Nisa’: 58). The findings indicate that justice ensures equity and inclusivity in managing educational resources and policies; sincerity provides a moral and spiritual foundation that enhances dedication and integrity; while trustworthiness underscores accountability in leadership and the fulfillment of responsibilities. The study not only enriches theoretical discourse by offering a tafsir-based framework for Islamic educational management but also provides practical implications for shaping institutional vision, mission, and governance in alignment with Islamic values.
