Abstract

Studies related to groundwater monitoring using geophysical methods have been carried out since the 1990s. Surface gavity data with a scheme of relative gravimeter measurements is chosen for monitoring in urban areas because it is quite fast, easy, affordable, and relatively low-impact on the environment. The significance of the time-lapse microgravity method for the target of this study depends on changes in the mass of water in the aquifer layer below the surface. The research area in this study covers the city of Bandung and several surrounding areas with an interpolated grid coverage of (18 x 17) km2. Gravity changes were determined by six repeated surveys at the same observation points from 2010 to 2021. The aim of this research is to develop a method for estimating groundwater table changes based on time-lapse microgravity data modeling. The complexity of subsurface density changes is simplified for two parts related to near surface density changes and density changes in the intermediate aquifer layer. The trend of groundwater table data in 2010 is used as a reference to determine estimates for 2015, 2016 (February and August), 2019, and 2021. Modeling results for intermediate aquifers (confined groundwater system) provide changes in groundwater levels from 2010 with estimates reached ±23 meters, while the results of modeling at near surface (shallow groundwater level) indicate a groundwater level change of approximately ±8 meters from the year 2010.Keywords:       microgravity, groundwater, modeling, hydrology, aquifer.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era has encouraged organizations to transform towards data-driven and integrated decision-making systems. This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of data warehouses, software, operating systems, and programmers in the context of Executive Support Systems (ESS) as part of a computer-based information system (CBI). The method used is a systematic literature review of 15 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025, obtained from scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and indexed national journals. The analysis was conducted using a thematic synthesis approach to examine the contribution of each component to the effectiveness of ESS in supporting business decisions. The results of the study indicate that data warehouses play a central role in providing historical and integrated data as the basis for business intelligence and predictive analysis. Software and operating systems have been shown to determine the speed, security, and interoperability of the system, while programmers are a key factor in ensuring the sustainability of system development and adaptation to organizational needs. The integration of these four components results in an executive information system capable of improving operational efficiency, decision accuracy, and company competitiveness. Thus, this study provides a conceptual contribution to the development of more adaptive, intelligent, and sustainable computer-based information system models for the modern business world.

Abstract

The technological developments that are happening nowadays are growing rapidly. All aspects of human life in their activities use information technology as a tool to facilitate and accelerate activities carried out. On the other hand, competition in the economic sector is also getting tougher. All producers are competing in marketing their products to consumers. The era of information technology using internet networks makes the distortion of time and space meaningless. Marketing is an important aspect of economic activity. The combination of good marketing concepts with technology makes producers more reliable in maintaining their existence. The growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is flourishing in Indonesia. According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in 2016, MSMEs contributed 60.34% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 89.2 percent of labor absorption. Many home industry MSMEs are growing and have a contribution to the economy. However, the contribution of MSMEs to the value of Indonesian exports has only reached 14.17% of the total exports. This data shows that the role of MSMEs in the Indonesian economy is very large. However, with the current development of information technology, it has not been optimized for business penetration through expanding marketing through digital media

Abstract

Located within the tectonically complex Banda Arc of eastern Indonesia, Landu Island, in Rote Ndao, East Nusa Tenggara provides a unique setting to investigate the relationship between arc-continent collision, karst development, and groundwater dynamics. The island is primarily underlain by Quaternary limestones, which form the principal aquifer system. Despite this hydrogeological potential, Landu faces acute freshwater shortages, particularly during the dry season. This study combines geological field mapping with a 1D electrical resistivity survey to characterize subsurface lithology, identify groundwater-bearing units, and assess the extent of seawater intrusion. The geological survey reveals slightly southward-tilted, fossiliferous limestones that exhibit clear evidence of karstification, indicating a history of tectonic uplift and surface water infiltration. A freshwater spring—currently the main source of potable water for the local population—was documented in the southeastern part of the island, with a total dissolved solids (TDS) concentration of 924 ppm, suggesting moderate water quality. Resistivity modeling identifies two potential aquifers: a shallow zone at depths of 5.2–17.2 m, and a more extensive, deeper reservoir between 35.1–92.1 m. The shallow aquifer shows lower resistivity values, indicative of possible saltwater mixing, which correlates with historical reports of failed boreholes in this zone. In contrast, the deeper aquifer exhibits higher resistivity signatures, suggesting better preservation of freshwater and greater potential for sustainable extraction. These findings highlight the critical influence of structural controls and karst processes on groundwater storage and quality. The study emphasizes the need for careful aquifer targeting and protection measures to prevent saltwater intrusion. Future work should focus on high-resolution geophysical imaging and long-term monitoring to support resilient water resource management on Landu Island.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the critical role of the logistics sector, particularly ports, in supporting the national economy through cost efficiency and increased competitiveness. However, data shows that PT JICT's sales growth declined from 2014 to 2018, indicating problems in maritime transport management, particularly in port operations. The decline in crane performance and fluctuations in loading and unloading productivity are suspected to be the main factors causing this decline in sales growth. Low crane performance slows loading and unloading, while unstable loading and unloading productivity hinder the effectiveness of port services. This study aims to analyze the effect of crane performance and loading and unloading productivity on sales growth at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT). Therefore, this study was conducted to empirically determine the extent to which crane performance and loading and unloading productivity affect sales growth at PT JICT, with the hope that the results will serve as a basis for evaluating and improving port operational management. This study aims to analyze the effect of crane performance and loading and unloading productivity on sales growth at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT). Therefore, this study was conducted to empirically determine the extent to which crane performance and loading and unloading productivity affect sales growth at PT JICT, with the hope that the results can serve as evaluation material and a basis for improving port operational management. This study uses a quantitative method, SEM-PLS analysis. The results show that crane performance has a positive, highly significant effect on sales growth at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal, while loading and unloading productivity also has a positive, significant impact on sales growth. However, crane performance does not have a direct or indirect effect on loading and unloading productivity, and loading and unloading productivity does not mediate the relationship between crane performance and sales growth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model in elementary education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study is motivated by the need for innovative learning models that can enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and academic achievement in the context of 21st-century education. Data were collected from 86 Scopus-indexed articles published between 2020 and 2024 using the Publish or Perish software, and subsequently screened following the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 35 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using a bibliometric approach with the aid of VOSviewer software. The results reveal that the Flipped Classroom model has a positive impact on improving students’ learning motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding at the elementary school level. The publication trend showed a significant increase in 2021, mainly influenced by the widespread adoption of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia, Malaysia, and Turkey emerged as the top three contributing countries in this research area. However, several challenges remain, including limited technological infrastructure, teachers’ readiness in designing digital learning, and the need for parental support at home. Overall, this study confirms that the Flipped Classroom is an effective instructional strategy to foster 21st-century skills in elementary education. The findings are expected to serve as a valuable reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers in developing innovative learning strategies that align with technological advancements and the characteristics of elementary school learners.
