Abstract

This non-profit service aims to provide a deeper understanding to SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru teachers and principals. Digital leadership in learning is a hot topic right now, especially at SMK Abdurrab, where the use of technology in schools is strongly encouraged. The activity will be conducted through educational counseling and comprehension testing for teachers and school leaders on the urgency of digital leadership at Abdullah College. Teachers and of course the principal participated enthusiastically in this activity. This training included pre-test and post-test evaluations. The team/services also conducted a survey on digital leadership. He found that 98% agreed that digital leadership in learning is very important for improving teachers' classroom management skills.

Abstract

Teachers are required to be able to apply digital tools and media to every aspect of their professional duties. Teachers’ digital competence become important for teachers to acquire. This research purpose is to mapping the use of digital technologies in teachers’ practice. Data was obtained through a survey and analized with descriptive statistics analysis from 93 samples of elementary, middle school, high school, and vocational school teachers. The results show 56.99% teachers use smartphones for learning tools while other 43.01% use PC/laptop device. As many as 48.39% teachers conduct digital learning through message app, 19.35% through LMS, and the rest through online meeting, social media, or all of the type simultaneously. The type of the content dominated by video and image, obtained through web content providers that are searched through search engine. Teachers also use text to give guidance for students, and quiz for formative and summative assessment. A total of 22 teachers carried out asynchronous learning, 35 synchronous learning, and 33 hybrid learning. In conclusion, teachers more often use smartphones, messaging app, and learning media that contain text, with additional video or image content for the learning process, guidance, and quizzes in assessments provided through synchronous and hybrid learning

Abstract

The University's attempt to introduce online learning was met with a number of obstacles. Therefore, effective implementation of online learning in higher education necessitates using change management strategies. This research aims to help Universitas Almuslim plan for the successful introduction of online education. The research is qualitative research. The respondent of the research are leaders, lecturers and students of Almuslim University. The respondents were selected through the purposive sampling method. In addition, the data of the research were collected through interviews. The research consists of three distinct parts. First, a Prosci ADKAR Checklist change management gap analysis was performed on Universitas Almuslim's efforts to incorporate online learning. Second, firm approaches to managing transitions. At long last, Universitas Almuslim has developed a strategy for distance education. The research produced a plan for introducing online education at Universitas Almuslim through change management activities. The current state, the transition state, and the future state make up the roadmap's three states. The processes of becoming aware of things and of wanting them are outlined. Then, the steps required to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills are outlined. Finally, the future state's abilities and reinforcements are outlined.

Abstract

Continuing Professional Development Program has not received a good response. Elementary school teachers are still not optimal in carrying out research, self-development, creating innovative works, and scientific publications. This study evaluates the professional development program in terms of the principal's role in improving the professional competence of teachers; and to evaluate the process of continuous professional development in improving the professional competence of educators. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The subject of this research is the principal and the teacher who teaches at the school. The results showed: 1) that the majority of teachers did not have a structured plan; 2) Implementation of class action research is still low; 3) The development of innovation works to support learning is still low; 4) Implementation of self-development by attending scientific activities on a medium scale; 5) Implementation of scientific paper publications is still very low; 6) Policy support is needed to hold continuous professional development training programs on an ongoing basis; 7) the role of the principal is needed in supervising teacher performance and improving professional competence. In contrast to previous research, this research raises the problems faced by schools with the evaluation of the professional development program and shows the impact and also solutions that can be taken by schools in an effort to improve school quality.

Abstract

The formation of interaction, communication, and collaboration between lecturers and students, and or students in assignment management during the Covid-19 period requires lecturers to change their pedagogy quckly through choosing the right strategy. This study aims to present information as a measure of the success of lecturers’ strategies in managing assignments to write books with ISBN as an implementation of the quality of academic services during the Covid-19 period. This cross-sectional descriptive survey research method was conducted on 128 fifth semester students of A-D class, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, Academic Year 2020/2021, with 52 web-based questionnaires distributed online using the google form application, measured using 4 response point Likert data format without middle category, using 4 answer options: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The management of the assignments to write books with ISBN is very appropriate to do as a lecturer strategy to maximize the quality of academic services in curriculum development courses during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Health Sciences, through strategic management steps, including environmental analysis, formulation, implementation, evaluation of performance measurement, using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection by qualitative interviews was carried out on five sources of information, qualitative observation, documentation study and literature study. Data were analyzed using open coding, axial coding and selected coding strategies. Triangulation was chosen as a technique to check the validity of research data. The results of the study show that in an effort to achieve its goals, the institution has not been able to reach the efficient stage, meaning that it really requires a lot of time, adequate costs needed, university support and leadership, loyalty and commitment of the entire academic community so that management functions run well, develop various resources. local wisdom-based funds, improvement and development of its resources.

Abstract

Abstract Total Quality Management is an approach to an organization that focuses on quality and is based on the participation of all human resources and is aimed at long-term results and success through customer satisfaction and providing benefits to members of the organization. The main customers in this study are students and parents. The National Standards contained in PP No. 57 of 2020 have set national quality standards for education. Quality improvement in schools is the responsibility of all school members. In addition, the teacher is an important key in improving classroom learning which will later have an impact on improving the quality of education. All resources and efforts have been made in the process of improving the quality of schools, one of which is the application of sustainable national education standards. Furthermore, there is continuous TQM. In the development of models in achieving the quality of education is very necessary in the realization of education itself. Given the importance of the implications of quality assurance in the learning process, the RANISH quality development model was designed in the process of improving the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods with the DBR (Design Based Research) method approach. The DBR method is felt to be very suitable because the DBR method aims to provide solutions to any problems that arise and is relevant in order to develop a quality development model in educational units because it is able to bridge theory and practice. The recommendations for the RANISH quality development model are felt to be appropriate because they are based on precise and measurable quality control. Starting with the process of quality planning, quality control and quality improvement.Keywords: Development, Quality Model, TQM, Quality Control AbstrakTotal Quality Managemen merupakan suatu pendekatan pada suatu organisasi yang berfokus pada kualitas dan didasarkan atas partisipasi dari keseluruhan sumber daya manusia dan ditujukan kepada hasil dan kesuksesan jangka Panjang melalui kepuasan pelanggan dan memberikan manfaat pada anggota organisasi. Pelanggan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan orang tua. Standar Nasional yang tertuang pada PP No 57 tahun 2020 sudah menetapkan standar mutu nasional Pendidikan. Peningkatan mutu di sekolah menjadi tanggung jawab seluruh warga sekolah. Selain itu, guru menjadi kunci penting dalam peningkatan pembelajaran dikelas yang nantinya akan berimbas pada peningkatan mutu Pendidikan. Segala daya dan upaya sudah dilakukan dalam proses peningkatan mutu disekolah, salah satu nya dengan penerapan standar nasional Pendidikan yang berkesinambungan. Selanjutnya adanya TQM yang berkelanjutan. Dalam pengembangan model dalam pencapaian mutu Pendidikan sangat diperlukan dalam realisasi di Pendidikan itu sendiri. Begitu pentingnya implikasi penjaminan mutu dalam proses pembelajaran, maka di desain lah model pengembangan mutu RANISH dalam proses peningkatan mutu Pendidikan. Peneleitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan metode DBR (Desain Based Research). Metode DBR ini dirasakan sangat cocok karena metode DBR ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi dari setiap permasalahan yang timbul serta relevan dalam rangka mengembangkan model pengembangan mutu pada satuan Pendidikan karena mampu menjembatani antara teori dan praktik. Rekomendasi model pengembangan mutu RANISH dirasakan sudah sesuai karena berdasarkan dengan quality control yang tepat dan terukur. Dimulai dengan proses quality planning, quality control dan quality improvement. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Model Mutu, TQM, Quality Control

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on how to implement and cultivate the character values of the 7 Poe Atikan implemented in the Purwakarta district. This study took data using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The collection techniques are observation, interviews, and literature study as data collection techniques. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Munjuljaya Purwakarta. The results of this study obtained information regarding the cultivation of character values from the 7 P oe Atikan Istimewa which were implemented at SDN 2 Munjuljaya Purwakarta which had been implemented and instilled character values in students through several different activities every day. This research implies that the implementation of the 7 Poe Atika in schools can instill character values in students to improve the abilities and quality of students at school and outside of school.

Abstract

Improving the capabilities of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) organizations is crucial for efficient and effective management. A well-developed organizational capability can also help enhance public trust in PAUD programs. This is important because public trust ensures ongoing support and access to resources needed for the successful operation of PAUD programs. However, limitations in resources and the ability to leverage technology can pose challenges in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of PAUD institutions. The goal of this community service initiative is to enhance understanding of the role of technology in education, develop digital leadership skills, and improve collaboration and communication among PAUD leaders throughout West Java. The main activity of this community service initiative is a Digital Leadership seminar. Abstract

The era of revolution 5.0 is a concept of society based on technology. Various challenges arise in the era of revolution 5.0 which requires each individual to have special skills and abilities, including the ability to think critically, creatively and innovatively and have good character as a control in utilizing technology. This service aims to provide strengthening of character education to every individual, especially students who are part of society so that they can have good ethics as a characteristic of Indonesian national identity. The service was carried out in the form of a scientific oration involving 55 participants who were students representing the Student Executive Board for the West Java Region. The results of the service show that critical culture as student character education is very important as a provision to face various challenges of the 5.0 revolution era. Critical culture becomes one of the traits in student character development to prevent the destruction of young morals from being degraded by bad choices
