Abstract

The results of this study indicate that managerial leadership has a significant influence on organisational effectiveness. A leader who is able to formulate a clear vision, direct resources optimally, and build effective communication can improve individual and team performance. Appropriate leadership styles—such as transformational, participative, or situational—have been proven to motivate employees, foster collaboration, and strengthen organisational adaptation to environmental changes, which ultimately promotes the efficient and sustainable achievement of strategic goals. In addition to leadership, work accountability has also been proven to be a key factor supporting organisational effectiveness. A strong accountability culture ensures that every member understands their roles and responsibilities, works according to established standards, and is ready to be evaluated objectively. The reciprocal relationship between leadership and accountability is clear: leaders establish and maintain accountability mechanisms, while effective accountability systems help strengthen credibility and trust in leadership. The synergy between the two creates a transparent, disciplined, and highly integrity-driven organisation. Overall, the findings of this study confirm that managerial leadership and work accountability are two inseparable pillars in efforts to improve organisational effectiveness. The practical implication is that organisations need to develop leadership competencies while building a fair, transparent, and consistent accountability system. The combination of visionary leadership and a strong accountability culture will strengthen organisational competitiveness, enhance stakeholder trust, and ensure sustainable performance amid increasingly complex environmental dynamics.

Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between global economic shifts and their implications for investment strategies and portfolio performance in a rapidly transforming global economic landscape. Beginning with a historical perspective, the research traces the evolution from traditional to modern portfolio theories, recognizing the pioneering contributions of Harry Markowitz and subsequent theorists like William Sharpe. Emphasis is placed on the adaptability of modern portfolio theories to address challenges presented by dynamic economic environments. Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) is scrutinized as a pivotal framework that surpasses static diversification strategies. MPT incorporates the risk and return of individual assets and their correlations, facilitating a nuanced and dynamic portfolio construction approach. Enriching this framework are insights from behavioral finance and dynamic asset allocation, providing practical tools for investors to navigate the complexities of rapidly changing economic landscapes. The study delves into risk management strategies tailored for dynamic environments, focusing on the pivotal role of hedging techniques such as options and futures contracts. Dynamic hedging, with its capacity to adjust positions in response to changing market conditions, is highlighted as essential for navigating uncertainties inherent in economic shifts. Diversification strategies emerge as a cornerstone of effective risk management, extending beyond traditional asset classes. The study underscores the importance of modern diversification strategies, encompassing alternative investments like tangible assets, private equity, and hedge funds. This adaptive diversification approach aims to create portfolios resilient to the impacts of specific economic events, fortifying them against localized economic shifts. This research provides valuable insights for informed investment decision-making in the dynamic global economic landscape.

Abstract

The community service program in Hilimoasia Dua Village aims to improve the understanding and skills of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in multimedia-based multi-presentation businesses. Through training and mentoring, participants experienced a significant increase in the understanding of multimedia concepts and their application in business. Before participating in the program, many MSMEs had limited knowledge about multimedia, but after training, they were able to understand the potential of multimedia to increase competitiveness. In addition, the skills in creating engaging multimedia content, such as promotional videos and interactive presentations, are also improved, providing added value to their efforts. The program also emphasizes the importance of digital marketing, where participants are taught to leverage social media platforms, websites, and email marketing to reach a wider market. Data analysis in digital marketing is in focus, allowing MSMEs to understand consumer behavior and adjust strategies in real-time. In addition, collaboration between MSME actors is strengthened through the network built during the program, creating profitable synergies. Program evaluations show that the majority of participants feel satisfied and willing to recommend the program to others. While there are variations in assessments on some aspects, overall, the program has succeeded in improving the skills, understanding, and network of business actors, which are key to business success in the digital age. This program is expected to be a model for the development of MSMEs in other regions.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the planning, implementation and results of the research grant program of the Research and Community Service Institute at the Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas Islamic Institute. The research method used is a qualitative research method, ethnographic research type, a Stake model program evaluation approach with stages of antecedents, transactions and outcomes. The research subjects were the Head of LPPM, Head of the LPPM Research Center and Grant Participants. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used by the Miles and Hubermen model are: data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research results showed that: 1. The number of participants who took part increased by 50% and the number of participants who passed increased by 250%. It was found that there was still a lack of participation from lecturers and the number of research grant quotas provided by LPPM had not been fulfilled. 2. Program implementation has been 71.43% complete. It was found that each program activity did not comply with the predetermined schedule. 3. Research results in the form of reports and article publications have only reached 28.57%, the other participants have not completed the research with the time allowance of 4 months. 4. There is contingency between input, implementation and results. Because the number of participants who registered did not meet the quota, additional time was given, so the implementation of research activities also experienced a shift so that the research results were completed far from the target time with a gap of 4 months. Overall, the Research Grant Program is very necessary, continued and improved from aspects that are considered dominant.
