Abstract

Abstrak – Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi penggunaan teknologi dalam meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan pelajar melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Kinemaster sebagai alat pembelajaran yang inovatif. Literasi digital menjadi unsur kunci dalam kesuksesan individu dalam masyarakat berbasis teknologi informasi saat ini, dan penerapan teknologi multimedia seperti Kinemaster dapat berperan penting dalam mencapai tujuan ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah pelatihan kepada peserta, terutama pelajar dan guru, dalam penggunaan aplikasi Kinemaster untuk membuat konten multimedia yang mendukung pembelajaran. Peserta diajarkan cara mengedit video, menambahkan elemen-elemen multimedia, dan memproduksi materi pembelajaran yang menarik dengan aplikasi ini. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital peserta, peningkatan kemampuan mereka dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk tujuan pembelajaran, dan peningkatan minat mereka dalam eksplorasi kreatif melalui multimedia. Selain itu, PKM ini menghasilkan berbagai konten pembelajaran multimedia yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta sebagai sumber belajar tambahan dan dapat dibagikan dengan masyarakat secara lebih luas. PKM ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mengembangkan literasi digital di kalangan pelajar, memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis teknologi, dan menciptakan kesempatan bagi peserta untuk menjadi produsen konten multimedia yang lebih terampil dan bertanggung jawab. Selain itu, pemanfaatan aplikasi Kinemaster sebagai alat pembelajaran dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pendekatan yang lebih modern dan menarik. Abstract

This activity aims to improve data literacy competencies so that participants are able to process data and turn it into information, as well as being able to create infographics from the processed data. There were 19 training participants in this activity consisting of 15 students and 4 teachers who taught crafts at Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 8 Gowa. The method of this activity consists of 3 main activities, namely the first is online data collection training which aims to find out tools that can help in data collection and how to arrange question items on the instrument. The second main activity is training in simple data processing using various kinds of diagrams available in Microsoft Excel as well as material on descriptive statistics which includes measures of central symptoms and measures of data spread. Finally, the participants were given infographic design training using Canva with the aim of simplifying the results of data processing that was previously carried out into infographics that were more interesting to look at. The results obtained were that the majority of participants felt that there had been great progress from this activity and that this activity was also in accordance with the current competency requirements.

Abstract

This study has an objective to identification university student ill-structured problem solving skills to solve statistical problem. The study is conducted using mixed method study which is including quantitative and qualitative approach. The study involved 68 university students who enrolled in social statistic subject. The data was collected by using a cognitive test instrument which was administered as pre-test and post-test. The pre-test instrument was constructed as a regular form of test instrument which provides specific instruction for university studentss to solve the test. However, the post-test was constructed based on the criteria of ill-structured problem solving. The result shows that there are difference between pre-test and post-test. The difference can be indicated by comparing the T-value which shows higher value than T-table (10,216 ≥ 1,997). it indicates that the university students have more ability in solving problem with instruction rather than solving the ill-structured problem.

Abstract

This study was quantitative with a non-reactive or unobstructed approach using Time Series analysis with the ARIMA Box-Jenkins method on secondary data. From secondary data, 1, 3, and 6 monthly data simulations were carried out. Each simulation data was divided into two groups: the first group of initialization data for 2016 – 2019 and the second group of actual data for 2020. The aim of this study was to determine the accuracy of forecasting results using the Box- Jenkins method on the number of pneumonia sufferers at Kamonji Public Health Center, Palu. The 1-monthly data simulation amounted to 48-time series as initialization data, obtained the appropriate forecasting model, namely ARIMA (1,1,1), then forecasting was done, and the results obtained were 289,166 patients with pneumonia. There are 16-time series simulations for 3-monthly data as initialization data and 6-monthly simulations totaling two-time series for initialization data, not finding a suitable model for forecasting. In conclusion, no data simulation gets the right result on the number of pneumonia sufferers because it gets more forecasting results than the actual data. Suggestions that can be given in this research are to use data that is more than five years old.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of tax compliance intention among pre-service taxpayers using an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. Integrating attitudes towards tax compliance (ATC), subjective norms (SN), and perceived ease with tax laws (PETX) enhances the traditional TPB model's predictive power. Data collected via a survey of pre-service taxpayers and analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM) reveal that ATC significantly enhances tax awareness (TA) with a path coefficient of 0.397 (p < 0.001), while SN and PETX also positively affect TA with path coefficients of 0.293 (p < 0.001) and 0.195 (p < 0.001), respectively. ATC and PETX show significant direct effects on tax compliance behavior (TCB), with total effects of 0.399 (p < 0.001) and 0.403 (p < 0.001). Although SN does not directly affect TCB, its indirect effect through TA (0.082, p < 0.05) is significant. TA significantly impacts tax compliance (TC) with a path coefficient of 0.277 (p < 0.001). These results suggest that enhancing positive attitudes towards tax compliance, leveraging social norms, and simplifying tax laws are crucial for increasing tax awareness and compliance among pre-service taxpayers. The study offers valuable insights for policymakers and tax authorities to develop effective educational and regulatory strategies aimed at fostering voluntary tax compliance, contributing to the literature by validating the extended TPB model and emphasizing early intervention in tax education.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Pemberdayaan Kompetensi Guru Komputer Melalui Pemanfaatan AI dan Bahasa Python” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan pemrograman Python, sehingga mereka dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Program ini mempersiapkan guru dan siswa menghadapi tantangan di era digital dengan meningkatkan kompetensi, inovasi, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pertemuan bersama ketua MGMP untuk menyampaikan program pemberdayaan berbasis masyarakat di bidang pendidikan. Hasil survei menunjukkan dua masalah utama: kurangnya guru yang kompeten dalam pemrograman dan AI, serta kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam bidang teknologi informasi. Setelah pelatihan, pemrograman Python diterapkan dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan AI, sehingga guru lebih percaya diri dan dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam materi pembelajaran, membuat metode pengajaran lebih interaktif dan inovatif, serta mendorong siswa untuk aktif dan mengembangkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Kata Kunci: PKM, Artificial Inteligency, Bahasa Python, Pelatihan, Guru TIK

Abstract

This paper presents a hardware inference accelerator architecture of quantized deep neural networks (DNN). The proposed accelerator implements all computation in a quantize version of DNN including linear transformations like matrix multiplications, nonlinear activation functions such as ReLU, quantization and dequantization operation. The hardware accelerator of quantized DNN consists of matrix multiplication core which is implemented in systolic array architecture, and the QDR core for computing the operation of quantization, dequantization, and ReLU. This proposed hardware architecture is implemented in Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL) code using modelsim. To validate, we simulated the quantized DNN using Python programming language and compared the results with our proposed hardware accelerator. The result of this comparison shows a very slight difference, confirming the validity of our quantized DNN hardware accelerator.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of technology has reshaped the educational landscape, ushering in ubiquitous learning environments that provide learners with unparalleled access to educational resources at any time and location. This study aimed to investigate the impact of delayed feedback on student engagement and problem-solving skills in ubiquitous learning programming environments. The purpose was to understand how different forms of student engagement—behavioral, emotional, and cognitive—influence problem-solving abilities and how students perceive and handle delayed feedback. A quantitative method was employed using a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected from 293 students enrolled in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University, who had studied web and mobile programming courses. Standardized questionnaires were administered to measure variables. Quantitative data analysis involved descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The research results revealed that behavioral engagement (BE) significantly improves problem-solving skills and helps students better handle delayed feedback. Emotional engagement (EE) has the strongest influence on problem-solving abilities and responses to delayed feedback. Cognitive engagement (CE), while not directly enhancing problem-solving skills, significantly aids in the management of delayed feedback. These findings underscore the importance of fostering behavioral and emotional engagement to enhance problem-solving skills and mitigate the adverse effects of delayed feedback. Strategies such as gamification, real-time collaboration, and immediate feedback mechanisms are essential to improve learning outcomes in ubiquitous learning programming environments.

Abstract

Perlu adanya peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan guru di SMAN 4 Barru, terutama dalam pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI), desain infografis, dan kewirausahaan digital. Program ini diikuti oleh 21 guru sebagai subjek pengabdian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih inovatif dan responsif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif (Participatory Action Research) yang melibatkan pelatihan intensif terkait AI, infografis, dan kewirausahaan digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi digital para guru, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor post-test sebesar 38,52%. Kesimpulannya, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam pengajaran, menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, serta mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Untuk keberlanjutan, direkomendasikan perpanjangan durasi pelatihan, adanya pendampingan lanjutan, dan peningkatan akses terhadap sumber daya digital di sekolah.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan English Medium Instruction (EMI) di SMA Negeri 5 Gowa, guna membentuk pengajaran yang kompetitif dan berkualitas sesuai standar global. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research yang melibatkan 23 guru dalam serangkaian pelatihan intensif, mentoring, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan bahasa Inggris, pengelolaan kelas, serta kesiapan guru dalam menggunakan EMI, dengan peningkatan rata-rata skor post-test sebesar +1.2 hingga +1.4. Selain itu, komitmen dan keterlibatan manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung EMI juga mengalami peningkatan, menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih kondusif bagi keberlanjutan program. Program ini efektif dalam membekali guru dengan keterampilan dan strategi mengajar dalam bahasa Inggris, serta mendorong komitmen institusi untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi EMI. Untuk keberlanjutan, direkomendasikan adanya dukungan berkelanjutan dan peningkatan akses terhadap sumber daya digital di sekolah.
