Abstract

Early childhood is at a crucial developmental stage that lays the foundation for many aspects of their future lives. Therefore, they require optimal and continuous stimulation. At preschool age, children often struggle to sit still and focus during learning activities because their activities are largely physical and play-based. This situation was also found at the Cahya Mentari Kindergarten TPA KB TK Cahya Mentari in West Ungaran, Semarang Regency, where initial observations indicated that some children tended to be easily distracted, lacked focus during learning, and had not received structured stimulation for concentration. Attention and focus are essential for children's cognitive development, so age-appropriate interventions are necessary. One non-pharmacological intervention that can be implemented is children's yoga, which combines physical activity, breathing techniques, and mental focus. This community service activity aims to improve children's health and enhance their learning concentration, as well as educate teachers about the application of children's yoga as an alternative concentration stimulation method. The methods used in this activity include observation and interviews with teachers to identify children's initial conditions, providing education about the benefits of children's yoga, conducting face-to-face initial yoga sessions using animated videos, and evaluation through direct observation and testimonials from teachers and children. This activity was held at the TPA KB TK Cahya Mentari, West Ungaran, Semarang Regency on Friday, October 3, 2025. The results of the activity showed that children were able to follow the yoga session well, appeared calmer, more enthusiastic, and showed increased focus and attention during learning activities. The teacher also mentioned that children's yoga is easy to implement and has the potential to become a routine activity to support the learning concentration of early childhood. Therefore, the application of children's yoga can be an effective alternative stimulation to improve learning concentration in preschool children.   Abstrak Anak-anak usia dini berada pada tahap perkembangan yang krusial yang meletakkan dasar bagi banyak aspek kehidupan mereka di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, mereka membutuhkan stimulasi terbaik dan berkelanjutan. Pada usia prasekolah, anak-anak sering kesulitan duduk tenang dan fokus selama kegiatan belajar karena aktivitas mereka sebagian besar bersifat fisik dan berbasis permainan. Situasi ini juga ditemukan di TPA KB TK Cahya Mentari di Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang, di mana observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa beberapa anak cenderung mudah teralihkan perhatiannya, kurang fokus selama belajar, dan belum menerima stimulasi terstruktur untuk konsentrasi. Perhatian dan fokus merupakan bagian penting dari perkembangan kognitif anak, sehingga perlu diberikan intervensi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik usia anak. Salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis yang dapat diterapkan adalah yoga anak, yang menggabungkan aktivitas fisik, teknik pernapasan, dan fokus mental. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan anak dan meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar mereka, serta mendidik guru tentang penerapan yoga anak sebagai alternatif stimulasi konsentrasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi observasi dan wawancara dengan guru untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi awal anak, memberikan edukasi tentang manfaat yoga anak, melaksanakan sesi yoga awal menggunakan media video animasi secara tatap muka, dan evaluasi melalui observasi langsung dan testimoni dari guru dan anak. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di TPA KB TK Cahya Mentari, Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang pada hari jumat, 3 oktober 2025. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak mampu mengikuti sesi yoga dengan baik, tampak lebih tenang, lebih antusias, dan menunjukkan peningkatan fokus dan perhatian selama kegiatan belajar. Guru juga menyebutkan bahwa yoga anak mudah dilaksanakan dan berpotensi menjadi kegiatan rutin untuk mendukung konsentrasi belajar anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, penerapan yoga anak dapat menjadi stimulasi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar pada anak prasekolah.

Abstract

Pregnancy at a very young age, especially due to early marriage, is a major risk factor for obstetric complications. Unpreparedness of reproductive organs, immature psychological conditions, and lack of knowledge about maternal health contribute to increased morbidity and mortality of both mothers and infants. This Continuity of Care (CoC) Midwifery Care Report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of midwifery care for a pregnant woman who is married and pregnant as a teenager, starting from pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, newborn care, and family planning services. The research instrument was carried out through interviews and observations assessments, analysis, establishing obstetric diagnoses, planning interventions, implementing care, and continuous evaluation. This COC Midwifery Care was conducted from June to October 2025. The results of care in this case show that early pregnancy causes psychosocial disorders such as anxiety and unpreparedness to become a mother. Through regular antenatal monitoring, intensive education, early detection of complications, family support, and postpartum family planning counseling, risks can be minimized so that the pregnancy and delivery process can proceed safely.   Abstrak Kehamilan pada usia yang terlalu muda, terutama akibat pernikahan dini, merupakan salah satu faktor risiko utama terjadinya komplikasi obstetri. Ketidaksiapan organ reproduksi, kondisi psikologis yang belum matang, serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang kesehatan maternal berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu maupun bayi. Laporan Asuhan Kebidanan Continuity of Care (CoC) ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai penerapan asuhan kebidanan pada seorang ibu hamil yang menikah dan hamil di usia remaja, mulai dari masa kehamilan, persalinan, masa nifas, perawatan bayi baru lahir, hingga pelayanan KB. Instrumen penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara dengan melakukan pengkajian, analisis, penegakan diagnosis kebidanan, perencanaan intervensi, pelaksanaan asuhan, serta evaluasi secara berkesinambungan. Asuhan Kebidanan COC ini dilakukan pada bula Juni-Oktober 2025 Dari hasil asuhan pada kasus ini salah satunya yaitu menunjukkan bahwa kehamilan usia muda menimbulkan gangguan psikososial seperti kecemasan dan ketidaksiapan menjadi ibu. Melalui pemantauan antenatal yang teratur, edukasi intensif, deteksi dini komplikasi, dukungan keluarga, dan pemberian konseling KB pascapersalinan, risiko dapat diminimalkan sehingga proses kehamilan dan persalinan dapat berlangsung aman.

Abstract

The second and third trimesters of pregnancy are often accompanied by physical discomforts such as back pain and anxiety before childbirth. Prenatal yoga is an effective non-pharmacological intervention to improve physical fitness and mental balance for pregnant women. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge as well as the physical and mental readiness of pregnant women through education and prenatal yoga stimulation. The activity was carried out simultaneously in two locations: Klinik Pratama Polda Kaltara (Tarakan) and TPMB Eka Putri (Tanjung Selor) in December 2025. The targets were 10 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters. The methods included theoretical education, video tutorial demonstrations, and prenatal yoga practice (Warrior poses and relaxation). The evaluation was measured using pre-test and post-test instruments and testimonial interviews. The analysis showed a significant increase in knowledge; before the intervention, the majority of participants (80%) were in the "poorly understood" category, which increased to 100% in the "well understood" category after the intervention. Clinically, participants reported reduced back pain, feeling more relaxed, and increased confidence in facing labor. Prenatal yoga stimulation is effective in increasing the knowledge and physical and mental readiness of pregnant women. It is recommended for healthcare facilities to integrate prenatal yoga into routine Antenatal Care (ANC) services.   Abstrak Kehamilan trimester II dan III sering disertai dengan ketidaknyamanan fisik seperti nyeri punggung dan kecemasan menjelang persalinan. Yoga prenatal merupakan salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kebugaran fisik dan keseimbangan mental ibu hamil. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta kesiapan fisik dan mental ibu hamil melalui edukasi dan stimulasi yoga prenatal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara serentak di dua lokasi, yaitu Klinik Pratama Polda Kaltara (Tarakan) dan TPMB Eka Putri (Tanjung Selor) pada Desember 2025. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 10 ibu hamil trimester II dan III. Metode yang digunakan meliputi edukasi teori, demonstrasi video tutorial, dan praktik yoga prenatal (Warrior poses dan relaksasi). Evaluasi keberhasilan diukur menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test serta wawancara testimoni. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, di mana sebelum intervensi mayoritas peserta (80%) berkategori kurang mengerti, meningkat menjadi 100% berkategori sangat mengerti setelah intervensi. Secara klinis, peserta melaporkan berkurangnya keluhan nyeri punggung, perasaan lebih rileks, dan meningkatnya kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi persalinan.  Stimulasi yoga prenatal efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapan fisik maupun mental ibu hamil. Disarankan bagi fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan untuk mengintegrasikan yoga prenatal ke dalam layanan rutin Antenatal Care (ANC).

Abstract

The government implemented the Supplementary Feeding Programme (PMT) to address the problem of under-five nutrition. The implementation of the PMT programme needs to be evaluated to improve the quality of implementation so as to achieve the set objectives. This study aimed to evaluate the PMT programme made from Local Food Ingredients at Public Health Center Bojong I in Pekalongan district. The research design was qualitative with phenomenological approach in June 2025. The research subjects consisted of main informants, namely the head of the health centre, nutrition officer, MCH coordinator midwife and village midwife. Triangulation informants consisted of health cadres and mothers of under-fives who were malnourished. The sampling technique used convenience sampling. The research instruments were interview guidelines, recording devices and note-taking tools. Data validity used source triangulation. Data analysis was interactive model. Resources in the implementation of the PMT programme at Public Health Center Bojong I involve the head of the public health center, nutrition officers, MCH coordinator midwives and village midwives. Planning includes determining the number of targets, types and ingredients of food, budget and training for village midwives. Implementation of the PMT programme has been carried out in accordance with the technical guidelines, but still faces obstacles. The immediate result of the PMT programme was increase in body weight of undernourished children. The short-term results of the PMT programme was increased knowledge about toddler nutrition and improved skills in feeding malnourished toddlers. The supplementary feeding programme for undernourished children has been running but there are still obstacles. Innovate PMT by involving nutritionists and cadres with attractive local food ingredients that are appealing to toddlers.   Abstrak Pemerintah melaksanakan program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) untuk mengatasi masalah gizi kurang balita. Pelaksanaan program PMT perlu dilakukan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan sehingga mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) Berbahan Pangan Lokal di Puskesmas Bojong I Kabupaten Pekalongan. Desain penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni tahun 2025. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari informan utama yaitu kepala puskesmas, petugas gizi, bidan koordinator KIA dan bidan desa. Informan triangulasi terdiri dari kader kesehatan dan ibu balita yang memiliki gizi kurang. Teknik sampling menggunakan convenience sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah pedoman wawancara, alat perekam dan alat pencatat. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data yaitu model interaktif. Sumber daya dalam pelaksanaan program PMT di Puskesmas Bojong I melibatkan kepala puskesmas, petugas gizi, bidan koordinator KIA dan bidan desa. Perencanaan meliputi menentukan jumlah sasaran, jenis dan bahan makanan, anggaran dan pelatihan bagi bidan desa. Pelaksanaan program PMT telah dilakukan sesuai dengan juknis, namun masih menghadapi kendala. Hasil langsung yang diperoleh dari program PMT adalah peningkatan berat badan balita gizi kurang. Hasil jangka pendek dari program PMT adalah peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gizi balita dan peningkatan ketrampilan dalam pemberian makanan pada balita gizi kurang. Program pemberian makanan tambahan pada balita gizi kurang sudah berjalan namun masih dijumpai kendala. Melakukan inovasi PMT dengan melibatkan petugas gizi dan kader dengan bahan makanan lokal yang menarik dengan cita rasa yang disukai balita.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masa remaja merupakan periode penting dalam pembentukan perilaku hidup sehat, termasuk kebiasaan makan. Namun, rendahnya literasi gizi, tingginya konsumsi Ultra-Processed Food (UPF), serta kebiasaan melewatkan sarapan masih menjadi permasalahan utama pada remaja sekolah menengah kejuruan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pola makan sehat melalui program “Gerakan Smart Eating Teen”. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Jambu dan SMK-SPP Dharma Lestari Salatiga dengan melibatkan 114 siswa kelas XI dan XII serta 7 guru pendamping. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pre-test, edukasi interaktif berbasis literasi gizi, kampanye optimalisasi pangan lokal, pemberdayaan guru sebagai health monitor, sesi tanya jawab, dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa yang ditunjukkan dari kenaikan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 62 menjadi 88 pada post-test. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam memahami pentingnya pemilihan makanan sehat, pembatasan konsumsi makanan tinggi gula, garam, dan lemak, serta pentingnya sarapan untuk mendukung konsentrasi belajar. Keterlibatan guru juga menjadi faktor pendukung keberhasilan program dalam mengawasi perilaku konsumsi siswa secara berkelanjutan. Program “Gerakan Smart Eating Teen” terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi gizi dan membangun kesadaran makan sehat pada remaja akhir di lingkungan sekolah. Kata kunci: smart eating, remaja, literasi gizi, pola makan sehat, ultra-processed food ABSTRACT Adolescence is an important period in the development of healthy lifestyle behaviors, including eating habits. However, low nutritional literacy, high consumption of Ultra-Processed Food (UPF), and the habit of skipping breakfast remain major problems among vocational high school students. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and awareness of healthy eating patterns through the “Smart Eating Teen Movement” program. The program was implemented at SMKN 1 Jambu and SMK-SPP Dharma Lestari Salatiga involving 114 students from grades XI and XII and 7 accompanying teachers. The implementation methods included pre-tests, interactive nutrition literacy-based education, local food optimization campaigns, teacher empowerment as health monitors, question-and-answer sessions, and post-tests. The results showed an increase in students’ knowledge, indicated by the improvement in the average pre-test score from 62 to 88 in the post-test. In addition, students demonstrated high enthusiasm in understanding the importance of healthy food choices, limiting foods high in sugar, salt, and fat, and the importance of breakfast to support learning concentration. Teacher involvement also became a supporting factor for the success of the program in continuously monitoring students’ eating behaviors. The “Smart Eating Teen Movement” program proved effective in improving nutritional literacy and building healthy eating awareness among late adolescents in the school environment. Edukasi Pijat Common Cold untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Siswa Jurusan Layanan Kesehatan dan Caregiver di SMK Darussalam Bergas Ida Sofiyanti; Luvi Dian Afriyani; Heni Setyowati

Abstract

Common cold is one of the upper respiratory tract disorders that frequently occurs in children and adolescents. The management of common cold can be carried out pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically, one of which is through common cold massage therapy. Based on the situational analysis conducted at SMK Darussalam Bergas, it was found that most students of the Health Services and Caregiver Department had limited understanding regarding the benefits and techniques of common cold massage as a complementary therapy to help relieve cough and cold symptoms. Therefore, the community service team from the Midwifery Study Program of Universitas Ngudi Waluyo conducted a community service activity in the form of education and training on common cold massage on December 16, 2025. The methods included situational analysis, health education using PowerPoint (PPT) media, massage demonstrations using x-banners and dolls, and direct practice by participants. Evaluation was conducted through pretests and posttests using questionnaires consisting of 10 questions related to common cold and common cold massage. The evaluation results showed an increase in the average participants’ knowledge score from 58.9% in the pretest to 95.8% in the posttest after the education and common cold massage practice sessions. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the activity. This program is expected to improve the competence of Health Services and Caregiver students in providing simple complementary therapy for common cold cases.   ABSTRAK Common cold merupakan salah satu gangguan saluran pernapasan atas yang sering terjadi pada anak dan remaja. Penatalaksanaan common cold dapat dilakukan secara farmakologis maupun nonfarmakologis, salah satunya melalui terapi pijat common cold. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi di SMK Darussalam Bergas, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa jurusan Layanan Kesehatan dan Caregiver belum memahami manfaat dan teknik pijat common cold sebagai terapi komplementer untuk membantu mengurangi keluhan batuk pilek. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian dari Program Studi Kebidanan Universitas Ngudi Waluyo melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa edukasi dan pelatihan pijat common cold pada tanggal 16 Desember 2025. Metode kegiatan meliputi analisis situasi, penyuluhan menggunakan media PowerPoint (PPT), demonstrasi pijat menggunakan x-banner dan boneka, serta praktik langsung oleh peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest menggunakan kuesioner berisi 10 pertanyaan terkait common cold dan pijat common cold. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rerata pengetahuan peserta dari 58,9% pada pretest menjadi 95,8% pada posttest setelah diberikan edukasi dan praktik pijat common cold. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa Layanan Kesehatan dan Caregiver dalam memberikan terapi komplementer sederhana pada kasus common cold.
