Abstract

This study investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing students’ academic writing skills, with a specific focus on English Education students at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive design within a phenomenological framework, the research examines the impact of AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Quillbot—on the quality of student writing, their knowledge development, and their perceptions of these technologies. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation involving 10 students from the second and fourth semesters. The results indicate that AI tools play a significant role in helping students generate ideas, refine grammar and structure, and increase overall writing efficiency. Nevertheless, the study also uncovers ethical challenges, including dependency on AI and risks of plagiarism. In general, students expressed favorable views of AI, considering it a beneficial aid rather than a substitute for critical thinking. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating AI in a balanced way to preserve originality, foster creativity, and uphold academic integrity.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed consumer behavior in accessing and booking services, including in the photography sector. Maka Studio, as a provider of professional photography services, requires a digital platform in the form of a website application that offers an intuitive user interface (UI) and an optimal user experience (UX). This study aims to design the UI/UX of a web-based photography service booking application using the Design Thinking method, which emphasizes a user-centered approach. The design process follows five key stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations to identify users’ pain points, which were then translated into visual solutions in the form of wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma. The main features of the application include service exploration, schedule selection, booking, and payment simulation. The prototype was tested by ten respondents representing the target users to evaluate usability, user flow clarity, and visual satisfaction. The results indicated that the interface design successfully met user expectations, achieving an average System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 93.75, categorized as excellent. These findings affirm that a user-centered design approach is effective in producing functional, efficient, and user-preferred digital solutions.

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce interactive learning media based on local wisdom of Palembang city on cultural wealth material that is valid, practical, and effective for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 6 Palembang. The methodology used in this study is the type of Research and Development (RnD) research, using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Palembang. The sample in this study was 25 students of class IV.B. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. This study produced interactive multimedia learning media based on the local wisdom of Palembang city. Data analysis techniques were carried out by analyzing validity, practicality and effectiveness. Based on the results of the study, data analysis can be proven through the results of the validity assessment on the media validation aspect which obtained a percentage of 93.7%, on the material validation aspect obtained a percentage of 93.7%, and on the language validation aspect obtained a percentage of 94%, with the category "Very Valid" for use. Furthermore, the results of the practicality assessment of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 95%, and the final results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 97% with the category "Very Practical" to use. Then the results of the effectiveness assessment with the N-gain score obtained a value of 0.7648 with the criteria of "High" and the results of the N-gain percent obtained a value of 76.4783 with the criteria of "Effective" so that this product is worthy of use in learning.

Anxiety is often experienced by most people, especially in adolescence, when individuals are in a new social environment or are in a social environment that is different from the social environment in which the individual is usually located. above opinion, the formulation of the problem in this study is how is the Relationship Between Self-Esteem and Anxiety in Adolescents of SMP AL - WASHLIYAH. So the objective obtained in this study is how is the Relationship Between Self-Esteem and Anxiety in Adolescents of SMP AL - WASHLIYAH Medan. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of people and observable behavior. A qualitative approach has natural characteristics (Natural serfing) as a direct source of data, descriptive, the process is more important than the results. So it can be concluded that the two variables are correlated or there is a relationship. Furthermore, from the results of the correlation test, it is known that in this study the correlation between self-concept and social anxiety has a Pearson correlation value of -0.534. This shows that there is a negative relationship between the self-concept variable and social anxiety, which means that the higher the self-concept of the subject, the lower the social anxiety he has, and vice versa.

Abstract

Pantun, as a form of Malay oral literature, holds significant aesthetic, educational, and moral values. One prominent type is the pantun nasehat (advisory verse), which functions as a medium for conveying ethical teachings in Malay culture. However, interest and ability among younger generations, particularly students at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu in reading and understanding this form of pantun remain limited. This community service program aimed to enhance students' literacy skills regarding Pantun Nasehat by Tenas Effendy through educational approaches involving lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of the structure, meaning, and function of pantun nasehat. Based on pretest and posttest evaluations, all participants demonstrated positive progress in their knowledge and appreciation of pantun as a valuable element of Malay cultural heritage. This program also helped strengthen local cultural identity and sparked student interest in preserving oral traditions that are increasingly marginalized by modern developments.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk di kota sumbawa dilatar belakangi dari berbagai aspek kehidupan, seperti pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk, pertumbuhan ekonomi, peningkatan akan kebutuhan hidup meingkat sehingga sangat dibutuhkan alat untuk bergerak dari tempat asal ke tempat tujuan. Seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk juga menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan dan masalah-masalah pada lalu lintas yang akhirnya menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja simpang seperti kemacetan pada tiap ruas jalan, dan Panjang antrian kendaraan merupakan konflik yang sering di jumpai. Salah satu simpang yang mengalami volume lalu lintas terpadat dan terendah pada waktu-waktu tertentu. Simpang Empat BTN Bukit Permai merupakan salah satu dari simpang empat tak bersinyal di wilayah kabupaten sumbawa. Tipe lingkungan jalan di sekitar simpang empat BTN Bukit Permai merupakan daerah komersial, hal ini bisa di lihat dengan adanya home stay, alfa mart, perumahan, ATM, Sekolah yang mengakibatkan kemacetan pada jalan tersebut. Kinerja simpang tak bersinyal BTN Bukit Permai menunjukkan nilai drajat kejenuhan (DS) = 0,283 yang semestinya < 0,85. Dari tiga alternatif rancangan, maka yang dianggap sesuai standar adalah alternatif (3) yaitu dilakukan perbaikan geometrik simpang menjadi 9 m , pelebaran mulut simpang jalan utama, pelebaran mulut simpang jalan minor dan pemasangan rambu - rambu larangan berhenti pada simpang ini menghasilkan drajat kejenuhan (DS) = 0,77 sesuai yang diisyaratkan oleh MKJI 1997 yaitu ds ? 0,85.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa untuk belajar melalui pemecahan masalah, bekerja mandiri, dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN 25 Palembang. jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah penelitian Kuantitatif Eksperimen Semu (Quasi Experiment Design). Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan bentuk desain dengan pendekatan The Non- equivalent Control Group Design yaitu suatu penelitian yang terdiri atas dua kelompok yang masing-masing diberi pretest dan posttest kemudian diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 25 Palembang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan model PBL dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa yang menggunakan model PBL dan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan hipotesis yang telah dilakukan yaitu, nilai signifikan = 0,000 jika dibandingkan dengan 0,05 maka nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 dalam hal ini berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka dari itu hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low academic achievement of students in Social Studies (IPS) at SDN 133 Palembang, highlighting the need for an innovative and effective teaching method. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the hypnoteaching method on improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. This study employed an experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 fourth-grade students who received instruction through the hypnoteaching method. Data were collected using pretest and posttest scores and analyzed using the Paired Samples t-test, as the data were normally distributed. The results revealed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with t = -35.184, df = 29, and a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). All students showed improved scores after the intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypnoteaching method has a significant effect on enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies. This method is a promising alternative for creating a more effective and engaging learning environment at the elementary school level

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen strategik kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan program kewirausahaan di SMAN 14 Berau. Penelitian menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo-12 Plus untuk menganalisis data kualitatif yang diperoleh melalui transkrip wawancara, catatan observasi, serta dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memegang peran sentral dalam menyusun jadwal, visi, misi, dan tujuan program. Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga memastikan adanya koordinasi yang efektif antara guru dan staf sehingga implementasi program dapat berjalan secara terarah dan terukur. Keberhasilan program sangat ditopang oleh dukungan pelatih, keterlibatan masyarakat, serta antusiasme siswa dalam setiap kegiatan kewirausahaan. Penerapan program ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan, kreativitas, dan rasa percaya diri siswa secara signifikan. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi dukungan penuh dari sekolah, fasilitas yang memadai, serta partisipasi aktif dari guru dan siswa. Namun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan sejumlah hambatan, di antaranya keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya alat produksi, dan berbagai tantangan teknis dalam proses produksi. Untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut, disarankan adanya peningkatan manajemen waktu, penyediaan sarana produksi, serta pelatihan yang lebih intensif guna memperkuat kualitas program kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This research reveals the secret behind the tradition of getting married on days and months that are considered good by the Madurese people in West Kalimantan, specifically in Sungai Kunyit Hulu Village, Mempawah Regency. In Madurese culture, choosing the right time to get married is not only based on practical considerations, but also beliefs about luck and prosperity in the future. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods and participant observation to understand the meaning and beliefs behind this tradition. The research results show that choosing a good day and month for a wedding is the result of a combination of religious figures, cultural heritage and life experiences. This tradition not only serves as a guide for couples getting married, but also strengthens social ties within the Madurese community in Sungai Kunyit Hulu Village. These findings provide insight into how traditional beliefs continue to play an important role in the lives of modern society, as well as demonstrate the Madurese community's efforts to maintain their cultural identity amidst globalization.
