Abstract

This study examines the implementation of SIMPATIKA (Management Information System for Educators and Education Personnel) and its relevance to the professionalism of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at Nurul Amal Islamic Educational Institution. The study is motivated by the gap between the ideal function of SIMPATIKA as a strategic educational management tool and its actual implementation at the institutional level. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of SIMPATIKA, its relevance to teacher professionalism, and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results show that the implementation of SIMPATIKA is still administrative and operator-centered, and has not been supported by strategic planning. The system contributes to improving discipline, accountability, and moral values such as honesty and responsibility among teachers, but it has not been optimal in enhancing overall teacher professionalism. Supporting factors include leadership commitment and the role of operators, while inhibiting factors include limited technological competence among teachers and technical system constraints. SIMPATIKA functions effectively as an administrative control tool but has not yet been optimal as an instrument for developing teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the emergence of the phenomenon of the transformation of Islamic education in which many Islamic boarding schools innovate in developing an Islamic education system in the midst of society. In addition to trying to provide 'added value, the world of Islamic boarding schools is also exposed to radical issues to sexual harassment that befell their students. So this was then allegedly by some parties having raised public doubts about the existence of the pesantren itself. This study aims to describe 2 (two) things, namely: a) how the Jaddung community's perception of the existence of pesantren; b) what is the role of the Jaddung community in the sustainability of children's education in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques consist of observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses interactive data analysis consisting of data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the Jaddung community's perception of the existence of pesantren, among others, namely pesantren is a place of focused learning, pesantren is a bulwark of the younger generation from negative associations outside the pesantren, pesantren is a place for fostering the morals of students, pesantren is a place for fostering the independence of students, and Pesantren is a place to educate and shape the social attitudes of the students. Meanwhile, the role of the Jaddung community in the sustainability of children's education in Islamic boarding schools is as a facilitator, motivator, and mentor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konstruksi filosofis nilai-nilai pesantren dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan Islam, mengidentifikasi relevansi nilai-nilai inti pesantren dalam penguatan karakter religius, serta merumuskan model konseptual integrasinya dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka melalui analisis konseptual terhadap berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan filsafat pendidikan Islam dan tradisi pesantren. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pesantren memiliki landasan filosofis yang kokoh, baik secara ontologis, epistemologis, maupun aksiologis, sehingga mampu menjadi fondasi dalam pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik. Nilai-nilai utama seperti keikhlasan, kemandirian, kedisiplinan, ta’dzim, dan kesederhanaan memiliki relevansi yang tinggi serta adaptif terhadap dinamika dan tantangan pendidikan modern. Integrasi nilai-nilai tersebut dapat diwujudkan melalui model konseptual yang sistematis dan aplikatif, meliputi penguatan kurikulum berbasis nilai, pembiasaan budaya sekolah, serta keteladanan pendidik sebagai figur sentral dalam proses internalisasi nilai. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai pesantren memiliki potensi strategis sebagai basis pengembangan karakter religius dalam sistem pendidikan kontemporer
