Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan bernalar kritis yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik SMP kelas VII pada pembelajaran perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya ialah peserta didik kelas VII SMPIT Al-Fityan Kubu Raya dan objek penelitiannya adalah kemampuan bernalar kritis peserta didik dalam materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai. Pada penelitian ini pengumpulan data melalui lembar kerja peserta didik dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis isi melalui proses identifikasi dan pengkategorian informasi dari lembar kerja dan wawancara. Bernalar kritis peserta didik dikaji berlandaskan kemampuan merincikan informasi yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang sedang dianalisis, membuat kesimpulan tentang masalah yang sedang dianalisis, menghubungkan informasi dengan konsep yang sesuai, dan mengevaluasi penalaran yang digunakan dalam menemukan dan mencari solusi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bernalar kritis yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik telah mencapai hasil yang memuaskan namun masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe what ethnomathematics exists in theactivities of woven bamboo craftsmen and to describe whatmathematical concepts are contained in the activities of wovenbamboo craftsmen in the Sukake community. The method used inthis research is descriptive method. This research was conducted inthe Menyuke Community (Setolo Hamlet). Data collectiontechniques in this study are observation, interviews anddocumentation. Data analysis techniques in data analysis activitiesresearchers need to carry out three analytical activities that must becarried out, namely: data reduction (Data Reduction), datapresentation (Display Data), and drawing conclusions/verification(Yusuf, 2014: p.407). From the results of observations andinterviews, the results of this study contained ethnomathematics andmathematics concepts in the activities of woven bamboo craftsmen inthe Menyuke community. namely ethnomathematics activities ofmeasuring and designing while in the concept of mathematics thereare the concepts of set, comparison, measurement, geometricconcepts, comparison and folding symmetry. The conclusionsobtained from this study are ethnomathematics in measuring,designing activities As for the mathematical concepts that appear inthe activities of woven bamboo craftsmen, namely: the mathematicalconcept of set, comparison, the mathematical concept ofmeasurement, the mathematical concept of parallel line geometry.and the mathematical concept of folding symmetry.)

Abstract

This research aims to measure and describe the extent of the difference in reading literacy ability and learning interest of students before and after mathematics instruction using Nadia Cassinie's short stories on presentation of data. Furthermore, it seeks to describe reading literacy ability in terms of learning interest in mathematics instruction using Nadia Cassinie's short stories on presentation of data. This study employs a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. The research sample consisted of 30 students from Class VII D at SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The research instruments include tests and questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, followed by qualitative data analysis with descriptive methods. The results show an increase in the average reading literacy ability by 79.13% and a 6.31% improvement in learning interest. Students with a high learning interest face fewer obstacles compared to those with moderate interest when it comes to high-level reading literacy ability. However, in the case of moderate reading literacy ability, students with moderate learning interest demonstrate slightly superior reading literacy ability compared to those with high learning interest. Students with moderate learning interest and low reading literacy ability are unable to meet any of the indicators for reading literacy ability.Keywords: learning interest; mathematics instruction; presentation of data; reading literacy ability; short storiesAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendeskripsikan seberapa besar perbedaan kemampuan literasi membaca dan minat belajar peserta didik sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran matematika menggunakan cerpen karya Nadia Cassinie pada materi penyajian data. Kemudian, mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi membaca ditinjau dari minat belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan cerpen karya Nadia Cassinie pada materi penyajian data tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran model explanatory sequential mixed method design. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 30 orang peserta didik kelas VII D di SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes dan angket. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis data kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian peningkatan rerata kemampuan literasi membaca sebesar 79,13% dan minat belajar sebesar 6,31%. Peserta didik yang memiliki minat belajar kategori tinggi menghadapi lebih sedikit kendala dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang memiliki minat belajar kategori sedang untuk kemampuan literasi membaca kategori tinggi. Namun, pada kemampuan literasi membaca kategori sedang, peserta didik dengan minat belajar kategori sedang justru menunjukkan kemampuan literasi membaca yang sedikit lebih unggul dibandingkan peserta didik yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi. Abstract

The availability of standard integrated diagnostic assessment tools for measuring students' learning interests with technology for the Entikong border area is not yet available, so an instrument is needed to help educators measure students' initial assessments. This study aimed to analyze non-cognitive diagnostic assessments of website-based learning interests. The Research and Development (R&D) method was used in this study, with three stages of activity, namely Need Analysis & Design, Development, and Evaluation. The subjects of validation were 10 assessment experts and five website graphic experts. A limited trial for practicality testing was carried out during the Evaluation stage. The instruments used were interview guidelines, validity questionnaires, and response questionnaires for practicality testing. Data analysis was quantitative and qualitative, using the Lawshe formula to measure validity. The results showed that the assessment developed had an average CVR value of 0.99 and 1 with a valid category and a practicality test of 93.75% with a convenient category. This study concludes that the non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instrument for website-based learning interests developed meets the requirements for validity and practicality. This research implies that educators can use the website-based non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instrument as a reference in designing learning according to student needs based on the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman pada mahasiswa tentang pentingnya soft skills dalam profesi guru, memberikan bekal praktis dalam mengembangkan soft skills yang relevan dengan konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, dan meningkatkan kompetensi calon guru sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan soft skills dalam interaksi dengan siswa dan rekan sejawat. Metode penyampaian berupa bimbingan langsung, dilaksanakan selama sehari dengan fokus pada konsep dan praktik penerapan soft skills yang relevan dengan konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kampus PGSD FKIP Untan, diikuti oleh 33 mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam kepengurusan HIMA PGSD Tahun 2023/2024. Hasil akhir memberikan dampak positif dalam menambah bekal menjadi calon guru yang profesional dalam hal keterampilan nonteknis atau interpersonal yang kelak dapat diaplikasi dalam mengemban tugas sebagai guru. Kata kunci: Penguatan Soft Skills, Calon Guru Sekolah Dasar. AbstractThis activity increases students' understanding of the importance  of soft skills in the teaching profession, provides practical provisions in developing soft skills that are relevant to the learning context in elementary schools, and improves the competence of prospective elementary school teachers in applying soft skills in interactions with students and peers. The delivery method is in the form of direct guidance, carried out for a day with a focus on the concept and practice of applying soft skills that are relevant to the learning context in elementary school. The activity was held at the PGSD FKIP Untan Campus, attended by 33 students who are members of the management of HIMA PGSD in 2023/2024. The final result has a positive impact in adding to the provision of becoming a professional teacher candidate in terms of non-technical or interpersonal skills that can later be applied in carrying out duties as a teacher. Keywords: Strengthening Soft Skills, Elementary School Teacher Candidates.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content at MTs Al Habib Sholeh bin Alwi Al Haddad. The ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content were tested on 32 grade IX students of MTs Al Habib Sholeh bin Alwi Al Haddad for the 2020/2021 school year. This study uses quantitative research. The numbers collected as a result of research can then be analyzed using statistical methods. The population in this study were students of class IX MTs Al Habib Sholeh Bin Alwi Al Haddad, amounting to 120 people. Data collection uses documentation and test instruments. The results of this study (1) there is a positive correlation between variables X and Y where the correlation index is 0.3091 with a low or weak correlation strength of the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content of students and (2) a large coefficient of determination of 9.55% and 90.45% determined by other factors.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan syarat yang wajib diraih oleh siswa. Sebuah model yang dianggap dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep suatu materi adalah model discovery learning. Discovery learning adalah sebuah model yang digunakan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat memahami materi melalui proses menemukan, menyelidiki serta menyimpulkan sendiri dari sebuah permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental designs jenis rancangan one-group pretest-posttest. Alat pengumpulan data berupa: lembar pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi, lembar angket, serta intrumen pendukung berupa: RPP dan LKPD. Metode analisis data berupa: analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil pencapaian seluruh siswa pada pemahaman konsep bangun datar segiempat yaitu: indikator “menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori kurang dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori baik. Indikator “mengklasifikasikan objek menurut sifat – sifat tertentu” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori sangat baik dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori sangat baik, Indikator “mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma dalam pemecahan masalah” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori kurang sekali dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori kurang, terdapat peningkatan antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model discovery learning, dan terjadi peningkatan dengan nilai n-gain 0,53 kategori sedang.

Abstract

The aim of this studyto explain and analyze the ability to interpret the concentration of statistical data in the form of diagrams in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Boyan Tanjung.This study used descriptive qualitative method.The subjects in this research were 3 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Boyan Tanjung. These 3 students were selected based on the results of a test on their ability to interpret the concentration of statistical data in diagram form and on the recommendation of the mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Boyan Tanjung.Students do not have difficulty understanding the data or statistical information provided, this is shown in questions 1 and question 2 which are from the test resultsIt shows that on questions 1 and 2 as many as 30 students (100%) could do well.Many students are inaccurate in changing information from problems into other forms, this is shown in question 3 where the test results areon question 3, 10 students (33.33%) worked on the question using the average formula with correct results.Many students cannot determine the solution or outcome of the problem, this is shown from question 4 as many as 7 students (23.33%) worked on questions using the median formula with correct results.

Abstract

Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak merupakan simbol penting yang menunjukkan garis khatulistiwa, yang memiliki nilai sejarah dan budaya bagi masyarakat Pontianak. Selain sebagai ikon kota, tugu ini juga sebuah objek relevan untuk pembelajaran matematika. Dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan bentuk geometri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan aktivitas matematika dan konsep matematika pada Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak, serta implementasi pada pembelajaran. Metode deskriptif yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan etnografi. Dalam penelitian ini, objek penelitian yang dimaksud ialah Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak dan petugas Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak memiliki konsep geometri yaitu bangun datar dan bangun ruang, Adapun aktivitas etnomatematika yang terdapat pada Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak yaitu aktivitas berhitung, mengukur, dan menjelaskan. Adanya konsep matematika terkhususnya geometri yang diperoleh pada setiap komponen Tugu Khatulistiwa Pontianak yang dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the implementation of the implementation of honest and disciplined characters as well as the obstacles and solutions in learning for students in grade V of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota by describing the implementation, obstacles, and solutions to the obstacles in the implementation of honest and discipline. The research used a qualitative approach with the data obtained will be analyzed based on facts in the field, therefore this type of research is qualitative descriptive research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation with the object of research are students, teachers, and other school parties. The objects of research are students, teachers, and other school parties. Research results after data collection, data reduction, data presentation, until analysis showed that the implementation of honest and disciplined characters in learning in class V of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota has been implemented based on research using five indicators of honesty and discipline. based on research using five honest indicators and four indicators of discipline. In its implementation, there are obstacles that occur due to internal factors from the students themselves and external factors, namely the role of teachers, principals, and parents. the role of teachers, principals, and parents in the effort to implement the character of honesty and discipline.
