Abstract

Infeksi bakteri dan resistensi antimikroba (AMR) merupakan tantangan global yang memerlukan inovasi dalam terapi antibiotik. Salah satu penyebab utama kegagalan terapi antibiotik adalah keterbatasan penghantaran antibiotik ke lokasi infeksi secara efektif, terutama pada kasus infeksi biofilm dan bakteri intraseluler. Nanoteknologi menawarkan solusi melalui sistem penghantaran antibiotik berbasis nanopartikel, yang mampu meningkatkan bioavailabilitas, spesifisitas target, dan mengurangi efek samping sistemik. Artikel ini mengkaji berbagai jenis nanomaterial, termasuk nanopartikel lipid, polimerik, logam, silika mesopori, dan sistem stimuli-responsif, serta efektivitasnya dalam mengatasi infeksi bakteri. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem penghantaran antibiotik berbasis nano ini mampu meningkatkan penetrasi antibiotik ke biofilm dan sel target, mengurangi resistensi, serta memungkinkan pelepasan obat terkontrol. Meskipun tantangan terkait toksisitas jangka panjang, biokompatibilitas, dan regulasi masih perlu diatasi, nanoteknologi tetap menjadi pendekatan yang menjanjikan dalam terapi infeksi bakteri di masa depan.

Abstract

Literary literacy in schools was essential because it had a positive impact on both the academic and personal development of students, such as enhancing critical thinking skills. Students learnt to analyze plot, characters, and themes, as well as evaluated various perspectives and meanings within texts. Literary literacy also enriched vocabulary and language skills. Reading various literary genres expanded students' vocabulary and improved their ability to understand and use language effectively. The aimed of this study was to understand how literary literacy fostered and developeded in schools. This research used a literature study method with a narrative review model. In this narrative review, data from several journals were analyzed and summarized based on the author's experience. The study employed a qualitative method with secondary data obtained from relevant journals. The researchers used a descriptive analytical method, collecting, identifying, organizing, and analyzing various data found. The results of the study showed that the development and enhancement of literary literacy in schools in Indonesia include: 1) Intensive Reading Programs within the GLS program, 2) Use of Technology, 3) Interactive Teaching Methods, 4) Teacher Training and Professional Development, and 5) Improvement of School Libraries.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are important skills in preparing for the challenges of 21st century education. This research aims to determine the relationship between learning styles and self-concept on critical thinking skills of UPT SMA Negeri 1 Barru students. This research was a quantitative study with a correlational design. The research results were analyzed using simple and multiple regression techniques. The results showed 1) learning style affects the critical thinking skills of students as evidenced by a significance value of 0.04 (α < 0.05); 2) self-concept affects the critical thinking skills of students. Self-concept affects the critical thinking skills of students as evidenced by a significance value of 0.00 (α < 0.05); 3) learning styles and self-concept jointly affect the critical thinking skills of students as evidenced by a significance value of 0.001 (α < 0.05); and has an influence of 33.6%. This, it is recommended to educators to pay more attention to learning styles and improving students self-concept in supporting the improvement of students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The background of the research is the low academic achievement of students; only 37.03% of 27 students achieved the minimum completion criteria in the preliminary study. Therefore, this study examines the application of a time-based learning-type cooperative learning model assisted by media boxes to improve the learning outcomes of social studies/IPAS of elementary school. This study uses classroom action research with the Kemmis and McTaggart model research design. This research was conducted with grade V students at 108 Moncongloe Home Base. This research used observation, tests, and documentation instruments. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after applying the model using media boxes. This can be seen in the increase in the average score of student learning outcomes from cycle I, which is 56.14%, to cycle II, which is 77.62%. Thus, a time-based learning-type cooperative learning model assisted by media boxes can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The interest in learning mathematics among students is still considered low, with many students perceiving this subject as difficult. Learning interest is a crucial factor for achieving academic success, prompting educators to innovate and be creative in their teaching methods. One approach that can enhance student engagement is the use of interactive and appealing learning media. This study utilized the Quizizz application with the Lesson feature to explore its impact on students' interest in learning in the 12th grade at SMAN 1 Tayan Hulu. The method employed in this research is quantitative, using a quasi-experimental design with a Posttest Only Control Design model. Sampling was conducted using a Nonprobability Sampling technique, and the research instrument consisted of a questionnaire containing 25 positive statements. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics 25.0 for Windows to conduct normality tests with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method, homogeneity tests with Levene, and hypothesis testing using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The analysis results indicated that the t-value of 8.768 was greater than the t-table value of 2.011, indicating a significant effect of using Quizizz as an interactive media on students' interest in learning mathematics. Thus, this study demonstrates that interactive media can positively contribute to increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Padi merupakan komoditas utama dalam sektor pertanian yang memiliki peran strategis sebagai sumber pangan pokok bagi sebagian besar penduduk di Indonesia. Namun, produktivitas padi sawah di berbagai wilayah masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang mempengaruhi tingkat hasil panen dan keberlanjutan usaha tani. penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi tingkat produktivitas padi sawah di Kecamata Trimurjo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di WKPP (Wilayah Kerja Penyuluh Pertanian) Kecamatan Trimurjo, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian adalah Januari 2023 – Februari 2023. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 98 petani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan kemudian data dianalisis dengan analisis deksriptif dan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. hasil penelitian yaitu umur responden berkisar pada kelompok umur antara 15 – 64 tahun sebanyak 53 orang atau dalam kategori produktif. tingkat pendidikan formal sebagian besar atau sebanyak 62 orang petani padi sawah (63,26%) telah menempuh tingkat pendidikan formal sampai ke jenjang sekolah menengah, yaitu SMP. Luas lahan garapan yang dimiliki petani padi sawah di Kecamatan Trimurjo berkisar 0,19 – 1,13 ha atau termasuk kategori sempit. luas lahan garapan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat produktivitas padi sawah sedangkan umur petani dan pendidikan formal tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires universities to provide learning media that support the needs of today's generation of students. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of active student learning through the implementation of e-modules in the Learning Strategy and Methods course in the Chemistry Education Study Program, Makassar State University. This activity involves the design stage, e-module creation, limited readability test, and socialization. The results of the readability test show that this e-module is very practical, with an acceptance rate of 81.55%. This e-module is considered to support interactive learning. This activity concludes that e-modules are an effective medium to support active learning in the digital era, with recommendations for increasing digital literacy for students and lecturers.

Abstract

Kuat tekan merupakan besar beban satuan, yang mengakibatkan benda uji beton hancur jika dibebani gaya tekan yang dihasilkan dari mesin kuat tekan (mesin hidrolik). Kuat tekan beton ditentukan dari semakin tinggi kekuatan tekannya. Penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mutu penggunaan agregat halus danau towuti dan agregat kasar routa terhadap kuat tekan beton. Pengelolaan dan analisis data karakteristik dilakukan pada laboratorium PU konawe. Yang meliputi pemeriksaan analisa saringan, keausan agregat (abrasi), kdar air, kadar lumpur, berat jenis dan berat isi, sehingga disimpulkan karakteristik material. Setelah itu dilakukan proses mix design dan pengujian kuat tekan betonumur 7, 14, dan 28 hari. Berdasarkan kuat tekan menggunkan agregat halus danau towuti dan agregat kasar routa dapat ditarik kesimpulan hasil uji kuat tekan beton 28 hari dengan campuran agregat halus danau towuti dan agregat kasar routa memilliki kuat tekan sebesar 33,40 Mpa.

Abstract

Family Planning (KB) initiatives seek to manage population growth by curbing childbirths among women aged 15-49. This qualitative research investigates the decision-making process of women of childbearing age (WUS) when choosing intrauterine device (IUD) contraception in Batuoge Village, Pedongga District, Pasangkayu Regency. Employing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, the study reveals that WUS possess limited knowledge of IUD contraception, primarily at the basic level. Furthermore, their attitude toward IUD contraception tends to be less favorable. In terms of action, WUS generally engage in consultations with their partners. This research highlights the need for improved knowledge and attitudes regarding family planning (KB) with intrauterine device (IUD) contraception among women of childbearing age in Batuoge Village. It emphasizes their inclination toward consultation with their partners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of stunting reduction policies at the Biromaru Public Health Center, Sigi Regency, a conceptual model using Edward III's theory from the aspects of Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Organizational Structure. The research method used is qualitative research, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the stunting reduction policy implementation at the Biromaru Public Health Center in Sigi Regency has not run optimally. This is evident from the inadequate implementation of the aspects of Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Organizational Structure. Several obstacles hinder the implementation of stunting reduction policies. The resources at the Biromaru Health Center in Sigi Regency are lacking, especially in terms of facilities like scales and height measuring devices. Not all posyandu centers receive these resources due to budget limitations, which vary by village. This affects the optimal implementation of the policy. Regarding the Organizational Structure and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), while they have not yet been established, all officers maintain a good working relationship, as confirmed through interviews showing their collaborative efforts in the program.
