Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Talang. The research was driven by limited dissemination and understanding of the independent learning curriculum, particularly regarding P5. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of P5, identify challenges encountered during its execution, and explore strategies to address these challenges. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured using triangulation of sources, while analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that P5 is implemented for grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Talang. However, challenges include insufficient socialization of the program, difficulties in developing project modules, and issues in allocating time for project execution. To address these issues, the school has conducted teacher training on the P5 framework within the independent learning curriculum and facilitated discussions among teachers involved in class projects to refine time management strategies. Future studies should explore the long-term impacts of P5 implementation on student character development and academic performance. Additionally, research could investigate the integration of P5 across different grade levels to assess its broader applicability and effectiveness. Quantitative studies measuring the correlation between teacher training effectiveness and project outcomes would also provide valuable insights. Furthermore, examining the role of parental involvement and community support in enhancing P5 implementation may offer a more comprehensive understanding of its success factors.

Abstract

This research was driven by issues related to the national character of students at Darussalam Aur Duri Sumani Islamic Boarding School, where students from diverse regions live and interact daily. The focus of the research is on the implementation of national character education, especially in an environment prone to misunderstandings, indiscipline, and dishonesty. The study aims to describe the form of national character education, the factors influencing its implementation, and its impact on students, focusing on four core values: religiosity, discipline, honesty, and friendship. This qualitative research uses descriptive methods with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research involves primary and secondary data sources, and purposive sampling for selecting informants, with data validity tested through source triangulation. Data analysis followed stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Findings indicate that the pesantren addresses character issues by implementing habits that promote these values, including religious practices, discipline, honesty, and friendship. The factors influencing this implementation are the objectives of the pesantren, its learning environment, and the students' conditions. The impact of this education is evident in the development of positive personalities, enhanced kinship, and improved politeness in language. Limitations of this research include its focus on only one pesantren, limiting its generalizability, and the lack of exploration into external factors influencing character education.

Abstract

This study explores the application of technology-based learning media in Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) for eleventh-grade students at SMA N 1 Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, while analysis followed the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that technology-based media have been integrated into PPKn instruction in this classroom, with teachers skillfully managing their use despite challenges. Key obstacles include time required for device setup, limited Wi-Fi access, and student-reported issues, such as distracting shadows on PPT slides, unclear text, and low video volume. To address these challenges, teachers take measures such as preparing media in advance to maximize instructional time, providing alternative media options if needed, ensuring internet access through personal mobile data for hotspotting, incorporating student feedback into media evaluation, and participating in school-provided training on effective technology use in teaching. This research is limited to only one school in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, so the same problems may not be found in other places, for example in urban areas, obstacles such as internet access are not a major problem.

Abstract

Cakupan keilmuan IPS merupakan berkehidupan sosial manusia dalam bermasyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, bermasayarakat menjadi unsur penting dalam cakupan IPS faktor berkehidupan sosial dapat dipelajari dengan mengenali keterikatan sosial, ekonomi, budaya, psikologis, histori, geografi, dan politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui impelementasi pemikiran pragmatisme dan kontruktivisme dalam pembelajaran IPS SD sehingga tidak hanya dapat mengembangkan kreativirtas dan pengalaman dari guru akan tetapi dapat menciptakan suasana nyaman di kelas. Pengunaan metode dilakukan denganMetode yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis dari sepuluh artikel di jurnal nasional. Artikel tersebut diabstaksi dan dibandingkan hasil kajiannya dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penggabungan dari kedua pemikiran ini terbukti sesuai dan tepat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran, khususnya pembelajaran IPS sehingga dalam penerapannya dapat berupa praktik langsung ke lapangan, seperti menciptakan kreativitas, pengalaman dan kenyamanan dalam dalam pembelajaran IPS SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi gerakan sekolah menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Berdasarkan informasi dari beberapa informan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa impelentasi gerakan sekolah menyenangkan yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu suasana dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, menggunakan metode bervariasi, guru sebagai model dan fasilitator, penggunaan IT, dan kebijakan sekolah yang memihak siswa dan guru. Dengan adanya implementasi ini, terdapat kendala-kendala yaitu guru ditantang untuk menunjukan kenerja yang maksimal, kurang biaya dalam pengadaan alat-alat dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran, jam mengajar guru yang banyak. Dengan adanya kendala-kendala ini, Guru PPKn mengupayakan beberapa hal untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, diantaranya mengikuti pelatihan lokakarya pembelajaran PPKn, menggunakan biaya iuran kelas dan ketersediaan alat-alat oleh guru PPKn, dan kolaborasi dengan tenaga pendidik lain atau staff pendidik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the efforts made by PKn teachers in implementing differentiated learning according to the potential of students at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of PKn teachers in implementing differentiated learning as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of PKn teachers' efforts in implementing differentiated learning according to the potential of students. The type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research informants used the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity test used the source triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that the efforts of PKn teachers in implementing differentiated learning according to the potential of students were analyzing the results of cognitive and non-cognitive potential mapping, compiling teaching modules according to the characteristics of differentiated learning, implementing differentiated learning based on the characteristics of students, analyzing the weaknesses/deficiencies of differentiated learning that had been implemented. The supporting and inhibiting factors of PKn teachers' efforts in implementing differentiated learning according to the potential of students were: 1) Supporting factors. One of the PKn teachers is a driving teacher, there are supervision activities, there are CADAS activities, mapping of student needs is carried out. 2) Inhibiting factors. Limited time for teachers in compiling teaching modules according to student characteristics, teachers do not use varied learning methods and media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena munculnya perilaku prokratinasi akademik dikalangan siswa yang akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa disekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan prokratinasi akademik dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 159 siswa kelas XII SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data prokratinasi akademik diperoleh dari angket yang terdiri dari 28 butir pernyataan yang sudah valid dan reliabel. Sedangkan data prestasi belajar diperoleh dengan teknik dokumentasi menggunakan nilai Ujian Tengah Semester Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganeraan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang siginifikan antara prokratinasi akademik dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang dengan hasil perbandingan r hitung=0,445 lebih besar (>) dari r tabel=0,148, sehingga Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat prokratinasi akademik siswa, maka semakin rendah prestasi belajar siswa yang dicapai.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between parents' socioeconomic status and students' interest in pursuing higher education among XII-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang. The research was motivated by the low percentage of students from SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang who continue their studies at the university level. This study employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total sample of 80 XII-grade students. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 15 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between parents' socioeconomic status and students' interest in higher education, as shown by the calculated correlation coefficient (r = 0.454), which is greater than the critical r-value (r = 0.220). Consequently, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the higher the parents' socioeconomic status, the greater the students' interest in continuing their education at the university level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by education which is a process of changing attitudes in a person and knowledge in its implementation requires careful planning in order to achieve educational goals. The use and selection of learning media is one way to improve learning. Tiktok as a video entertainment application has many features that allow it to be used as an audiovisual learning medium. This study aims to determine how the effect of using the Tiktok application as a learning media on the activity and learning outcomes of students in the Sociology Subjects of class XI Social Sciences at SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek.The research approach uses a Quasi-Experimental quantitative approach using a 2x2 Factorial research design. The research location is SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek which is located in Kanagarian Lambah, Ampek Angkek District, Agam Regency. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS and the sample of this study were students of class XI IPS 4 for the Experiment class who would use the Tiktok application as a learning medium and XI IPS 1 for the control class who did not use the Tiktok application as a learning medium. Data analysis used quantitative analysis techniques using t-test to test the hypothesis. The results of the study found that: 1). There are differences in the activity of students who use Tiktok as a learning medium with students who do not use the Tiktok application as a learning medium, 2). There are differences in the learning outcomes of students who use the Tiktok application as a learning medium with students who do not use the Tiktok application as a learning medium. This happens because the Tiktok application can stimulate the active learning of students through activities that are not boring. By looking at the learning video content before students enter the learning material, it stimulates students to show an attitude of interest in learning so that these students are involved in every learning process and students can produce good learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper begins with an effort to build the quality of education in the Palestinian Ministry of Education's 2017-2022 Strategic Plan for Education. From these efforts, the Palestinian Ministry of Education agreed to the design of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals program, especially regarding quality education. This is seen in the target to be achieved to ensure equal access by 2030 to all levels of education and vocational training for marginalized groups, including people with disabilities. Through qualitative methods, the data collection technique used is library research for primary data obtained from the Strategic Plan for Education 2017-2022 by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and news contained on websites, youtube and journals in the 2017- 2023 range. Secondary data as supporting data is obtained using relevant literature in the form of analysis results or assessment reports from government, private or research institutions. After the review, it was revealed that efforts to build the quality of Palestinian education were prioritized on three main targets: 1) Ensuring access to safe, inclusive and quality education at all levels, especially for people with disabilities; 2) Develop student-centered teaching and learning pedagogy and environment, and; 3) Improve accountability and results-based leadership, governance and management. As an implication of these efforts, there has been an increase in female student participation and completion from primary to tertiary education.
