Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model–model pembelajaran inovatif yang telah diterapkan oleh guru PPKn dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di SMAN 10 Padang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengamatan langsung terhadap proses pembelajaran dan interaksi siswa di kelas, sementara wawancara dilakukan dengan guru dan siswa untuk mendapatkan pengalaman mendalam tentang proses pembelajaran mereka. Dokumentasi mencakup analisis materi ajar dan nilai harian siswa. Penelitian ini menganalisis data melalui penyajian data, reduksi data, verifikasi data, dan penerikan kesimpulan. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk menggali dan memahami proses pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melalui model–model pembelajaran inovatif secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning, Jigsaw, Role Playing, Problem Based Learning, dan Discovery Learning terbukti efektif untuk membentuk siswa untuk berkarakter disiplin siswa. Terlihat bahwa siswa menunjukkan kedisiplinan waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas, kedisiplinan terhadap kepatuhan aturan sesuai instruksi guru, kedisiplinan belajar dalam mendengarkan guru menerangkan materi dan disiplin untuk berpartisipasi aktif di kelas. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi pendidik untuk mengimplementasikan dan mengembangkan model pembelajaran inovatif pada pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pengembangan karakter disiplin siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor kesadaran politik dan kepercayaan terhadap pemerintah terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam pemilihan umum calon anggota DPRD Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, dengan studi kasus di Kecamatan Lengayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terdaftar dalam Daftar Pemilih Tetap berjumlah 34.765 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode multistage random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran politik memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,516 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05). Sebaliknya, kepercayaan terhadap pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara statistik terhadap partisipasi politik, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,066 dan nilai signifikansi 0,378 (> 0,05). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi politik dengan nilai F sebesar 77,114 dan signifikansi 0,000. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi politik masyarakat di Kecamatan Lengayang lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh kesadaran politik individu dibandingkan oleh tingkat kepercayaan terhadap pemerintah. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun kepercayaan rendah, masyarakat tetap berpartisipasi karena dorongan tanggung jawab sosial, norma budaya, dan kesadaran politik yang tumbuh melalui interaksi sosial dan akses informasi.

Abstract

This research analyzes educational programs in New Zealand through a comprehensive literature study, focusing on educational policies, curriculum structures, teaching methods, as well as challenges and solutions in overcoming educational gaps. The results show that education policy in New Zealand is very progressive and innovative, with initiatives such as "Digital Technologies & Hangarau Matihiko" integrating digital technologies into all aspects of education. The national curriculum, The New Zealand Curriculum (NZC), emphasizes the development of key competencies such as critical thinking and collaboration, and provides flexibility for schools to adapt learning programs to suit student needs. New Zealand teaching methods are very student-centred and based on active and collaborative learning, supported by the widespread use of technology. Despite this, challenges in overcoming educational disparities remain, especially regarding differences in academic achievement between students from various socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. The New Zealand government has launched various programs to address these challenges, with positive results but requiring sustained effort. The conclusions of this research indicate that curriculum flexibility, student-centred teaching approaches, and technology integration are key factors supporting the success of the education system in New Zealand, providing valuable insights for improving education systems in other countries

Abstract

This study aims at know the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia and Japan by using five indicators, namely the objectives of Education, education management, education budget, education personnel and salaries, and the process of evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is the study of literature with a qualitative descriptive approach to see the comparison of basic education in Indonesia and Japan, the study of literature using a qualitative descriptive approach is to gather a number of references relevant to the topic of this study. The reference is taken from national journals and international journals which are then reviewed according to the needs in this study. The results of the study shows that the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia can be seen from four aspects, namely This is due to several indicators, namely (1) differences in education objectives, (2) education management; (3) Japan Education budget; (4) his education and salary; and (5) learning processes and evaluations. This study only emphasizes on five indicators of Basic Education of Indonesia and Japan. there are gaps that can be filled by subsequent research, namely curriculum, political system, character education, and so forth. This research should contribute to the policy makers of the Indonesian Education system in order to apply the five indicators of Japanese basic education to the Indonesian basic education system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana Penerapan Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 15 Padang. Deskripsi tersebut terkait dengan bagaimana Penerapan Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge dalam pembelajaran PPKn serta kendala yang dihadapi guru PPKn dalam penerapan TPACK tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data,penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada tahap validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan Technological Pedagogical, Content Knowledge mengacu pada indikator Technological Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge serta Content Knowledge. Selanjutnya kendala yang dihadapi guru PPKn dalam penerapan TPACK yaitu penguasaan guru terhadap teknologi yang perlu ditingkakan dan jaringan internet yang kurang stabil serta kondisi peserta didik dalam belajar.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using folklore-based character education materials in improving reading literacy and social care understanding among elementary school students. Employing a comparative quantitative design, the research involved 74 students, divided into experimental and control groups, each consisting of 37 students. The experimental group received education materials integrating folklore, while the control group used standard print teaching materials. Data were collected through tests measuring reading literacy and social care understanding, both before and after the intervention. The results showed that the experimental group had an average reading literacy score of 69.07, higher than the control group's 58.94. In understanding social care, the experimental group also excelled with an average score of 77.37, compared to 66.99 in the control group. ANOVA tests revealed significant differences between the two groups, with an F Statistic of 13.46 and a P-value of 0.000464 for reading literacy, and an F Statistic of 19.71 and a P-value of 0.000032 for social care understanding. These findings indicate that the use of folklore-based education materials significantly contributes to improving reading literacy and social care understanding among students, demonstrating the potential of this approach in character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Indonesia menghadapi tantangan besar dalam sistem manajemen pendidikannya, terlihat dari peringkatnya yang berada di posisi 72 dari 77 negara. Sistem pendidikan Indonesia membutuhkan perhatian dan perbaikan yang signifikan. Meskipun demikian, negara ini memiliki banyak ahli pendidikan yang berpotensi besar untuk mengubah dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Salah satu strategi yang efektif adalah dengan mempelajari dan membandingkan sistem pendidikan Indonesia dengan negara yang memiliki sistem manajemen pendidikan unggul, seperti Jepang. Sistem pendidikan Jepang menekankan pada pengajaran prinsip-prinsip moral, kesopanan, dan kedisiplinan sejak usia dini serta menerapkan ujian yang tidak terlalu membebani siswa di tingkat dasar. Pelajaran dan praktik terbaik dari Jepang dapat diadopsi dan disesuaikan untuk memperbaiki sistem manajemen pendidikan Indonesia, mengarahkannya ke jalur yang benar untuk mencapai peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the problems of social sciences education teachers in the teaching and learning process in schools. This research method is a qualitative method in the form of a literature study where the researcher collects information from various literature that is relevant to the researcher's research to then obtain findings in accordance with the research objectives. The results of this research indicate that the teacher's inability to apply learning methods and media that match the diversity of student characteristics in the classroom. Teacher-Centre Learning and Book Packages. The learning process is not in line with what was planned in the RPP. Teachers who teach social studies are not based on their skills. And lack of availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the success of social studies learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Upaya guru dalam menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab dan kepedulian dalam konteks civic virtue pada pembelajaran PPKn serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan Informan menggunakan Teknik pusposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan Teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Upaya dalam menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab dan kepedulian pada siswa yaitu guru mengintegritaskan nilai karakter khususnya karakter tanggung jawab dan kepedulian kedalam materi yang sedang di ajarkan, pemberian sanksi yang tegas, dan melalui pembiasaan. Faktor pendukung yaitu adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah, adanya Kerjasama orang tua dan guru. Faktor penghambat yaitu guru tidak dapat memberikan perhatian khusus kepada setiap siswa, karakter siswa yang beragam, dan daya serap siswa.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the difficulties faced by educators in teaching social studies. In understanding these difficulties, this literature review explores relevant sources and analyzes existing findings. Some of the common difficulties identified include concept complexity, multidisciplinarity, and differences in students' backgrounds. In addition, this article also discusses some effective teaching strategies in overcoming these difficulties, such as problem-based approaches, use of technology, collaborative learning, and utilization of local resources. Through appropriate teaching strategies, educators can facilitate students' better understanding of social studies and help them develop critical thinking and a deep understanding of social, political and cultural dynamics. The knowledge gained from this literature review provides important insights for social studies educators in facing teaching challenges and improving the quality of learning. By deepening this understanding through further research, social studies educators can continuously improve their teaching practices and have a more positive impact on students' academic and social development.
