Abstract

Social studies is one of the subjects that is taught in an integrated manner at the Junior High School (JHS) level. This integrated learning raises problems in social studies learning. The purpose of this study is to identify problems in social studies learning. The method used is the qualitative method. The informants used were teachers and students from seven JHS/MTsN. Data collection methods were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, two problems can be identified, namely 1) Lack of Learning Facilities and Infrastructure, where in social studies learning in class VII MTsN 1 Pariaman City there is a lack of existing learning support facilities. This makes it an obstacle when the teacher explains material that requires learning support media such as pictures and videos. The lack of media in the classroom, such as Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Projectors that are often used are only teaching materials or books and student worksheets, so learning is not interesting; and 2) Less Varied Learning Methods, where the method most often used by social studies teachers in MTsN 1 Pariaman City in social studies learning is the lecture method. due to a lack of books. If you use other methods such as discussion, students must have books to read so that there is material for discussion.

Abstract

The background of writing this article is to see the problem of education in Indonesia that has not been able to fully produce quality human beings, this is due to the quality of education in Indonesia that has not been maximized. For this reason, it is necessary to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by improving the responsive education system to answer the changes and demands of the times, therefore we need to learn from one of the countries that has the best education system in the world, namely Finland. The advancement of the education system in Finland can certainly be used as an example of the implementation of education in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this article is to see the advanced education system in Finland. The method used in compiling this article is a literature study, A literature study is a variety of sources, ranging from books, articles, and various references related to the advancement of the education system in Finland. The results showed that the advanced education system in Finland can be seen from several aspects of the implementation of education in the country, including teachers, learning environment, evaluation, and school curriculum.

Abstract

The reason is that Japan is one of the developed countries that has the best education system in the world and is a mecca or reference for other countries, including Indonesia. One indicator that can be used to see the quality of a country's education is the results of the assessment (PISA) carried out by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). What is very interesting about Japan's progress, including its educational progress, is that this progress is still framed by the country's noble values. Japanese people are very proud and uphold their traditions and culture. Education is valued and well managed and is based on moral and character development as an integral part of education. The Japanese education system is generally built from a combination of Western ideas and Japanese methods. Even Japan can minimize the unemployment rate, which always increases in every country. The creativity of Japanese education graduates is recognized internationally as an example of success in the automotive sector, namely Honda, and Suzuki, which are always able to innovate their products in a short period. Apart from producing civil servant workers, it is also able to produce experts who can continue to develop the latest research.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pelaksanaan Program Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) tahun anggaran 2021 dalam upaya pengentasan kemiskinan yang terkena dampak Covid-19 di Desa Pekan Tebih, Kecamatan Kepenuhan Hulu, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji dengan triangulasi sumber. Data yang telah diperoleh tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa calon penerima bantuan langsung tunai desa dengan sasaran keluarga miskin yaitu keluarga miskin dalam DTKS (Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial), sedangkan yang tidak mendapatkan BLT yaitu, penerima PKH, Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT)/Program Sembako, BPNT Perluasan/Program Sembako Perluasan, Bantuan Sosial Tunai (BST) dan Kartu Prakerja. Peranan BLT untuk mengurangi kemiskinan relatif kecil karena jumlah yang diberikan sedikit dan bersifat sementara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam menguatkan karakter anak dan remaja pada program GETARAN, untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan penguatan karakter pada program Getaran, dan untuk mendiskripsikan bentuk implikasi kegiatan penguatan karakter dalam program Getaran terhadap perilaku anak dan remaja. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji dengan triangulasi sumber data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kegiatan penguatan karakter dalam program GETARAN adalah berupa kegiatan tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan kegiatan magrib mengaji. Karakter yang terbentuk seperti karakter religius, disiplin, jujur, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, dan sopan santun. Faktor yang mempengaruhi adanya kegiatan penguatan karakter dalam program GETARAN adalah pertama karena adanya kekhawatiran melihat generasi muda sekarang yang mulai mengalami penurunan karakter karena kemajuan teknologi. Kedua, lemahnya pegangan agama serta kurangnya dukungan dan motivasi dari orang tua menyebabkan menurunnya karakter anak-anak dan remaja. Ketiga, di Kecamatan Bonjol tidak ada sekolah khusus agama seperti Pesantren, SD IT maupun SMP IT. Kegiatan tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan magrib mengaji dalam program GETARAN ini berimplikasi terhadap terbentuknya karakter siswa menjadi lebih baik seperti: 1) karakter religius yg dibuktikan dengan anak rajin membaca dan menghafal Al-Qur’an serta disiplin dalam menjalankan salat lima waktu, 2) karakter jujur dilihat dengan pernyataan siswa yang sesuai dengan buku setoran tahfidz, 3) disiplin dalam waktu setoran hafalan ayat dan datang tepat waktu sesuai aturan yang ditetapkan, 4) bertanggung jawab, 5) bekerja keras untuk memenuhi target hafalan dan. 6) berimplikasi terhadap perilaku siswa yang sopan santun terhadap bapak/ibu guru tahfidz yang dibuktikan dengan memberikan salam ketika bertemu dan mematuhi aturan kegiatan tahfidz dan magrib mengaji ketika berlangsung kegiatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pendidikan nasionalisme serta masih rendahnya pengetahuan dalam pembelajaran PPKn sehingga berdampak kedalam diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendidikan nasio nalisme di MTs Hubbulwathan Duri serta apa saja faktor-faktor penunjang dan kendala pelaksana yang ada dalam pendidikan nasionalisme pada MTs Hubbulwathan Duri. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data di uji dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Pendidikan Nasionalisme pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Hubbulwathan Duri dilakukan melalui pembiasaan, kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dan kegiatan rutin. Dampak kegiatan pembiasaan ini pada Madrasah adalah terciptanya peserta didik yang sopan santun, ramah dan saling menghargai, menghormati. Sedangkan dampak dari kegiatan ekstrakulikuler adalah membentuk peserta didik bertanggung jawab, jujur, saling tolong menolong, disiplin dan saling bergotong royong. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hubbulwathan Duri yaitu adanya peserta didik yang masih tidak tertib dan tidak menaati aturan yang berlaku di lingkungan sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Guguak. Implementasi kurikulum ini didasarkan pada tujuan untuk membentuk karakter siswa dengan mengedepankan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk memilih responden seperti kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum, guru PPKn, dan siswa. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dilakukan secara efektif dengan mayoritas guru PPKn memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pentingnya pembentukan karakter siswa berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Namun, penelitian juga mengidentifikasi beberapa kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, termasuk kesulitan mengkomunikasikan kurikulum baru kepada siswa, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, beberapa strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru PPKn antara lain meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui riset dan studi mandiri, kolaborasi antar guru, fokus pada aspek inti pembelajaran, dan mencari solusi kreatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan sumber daya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of identity crisis on adolescents due to online games in Simberuna Village, Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive type of research that describes and explains in the form of an in-depth description and analysis of a real situation and situation, namely regarding "Identity Crisis in Adolescents Due to Online Games in Simberuna Village, Sitellu District, Tali Urang Jehe, Pakpak Bharat Regency". This type of descriptive research is more concerned with explaining the relationship between the symptoms and targets studied. The results obtained from this study are (1) Adolescents experience an identity crisis because they have problems with their ability to control emotions, have problems placing themselves with their peers, have problems with their appearance, and do not get the right figure to achieve a good self-identity because it is fun to play games online. (2) The impact caused by online games is being unable to make important decisions about themselves, reduced interest in learning from teenagers who are already addicted, often procrastinating work, and not socializing with the surrounding environment because they are engrossed in playing online games.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze gadgets and identify strategies and obstacles parents face in using gadgets as a source of character education for children aged 10-12 years in the Kerasaan I area. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. They are implemented in the Kerasaan I village, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. Observation, interviews, and documentation carried out data collection techniques, while data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and then verified. The results of this study are gadgets for children aged ten years and 12 years used for the need to find and add information in completing assignments given by the teacher. This can create a sense of responsibility for children. Meanwhile, children aged 11 years tend to use gadgets to play online games. If they continue, it can cause addiction in children. So the parent's strategy in guiding children to use gadgets is to limit time, give directions, give advice, and provide supervision. As for the obstacles, parents feel when they want to guide their children to use gadgets, children prefer to be silent, and children show uncontrolled emotions when parents want to know what children access through their gadgets. In conclusion, gadgets are used by children in the Kerasaan I area as a learning resource which in turn becomes a form of responsibility towards children

Abstract

This research explores groundbreaking innovations in fostering environmental stewardship within school institutions during the 21st century. In today's world, there is an increasing global emphasis on sustainable living and environmental stewardship, which necessitates the integration of these values into the educational structure, especially at the primary level. By examining various pedagogical strategies, curriculum enhancements, and community engagement initiatives undertaken by educators in Vocational High Schools (SMK), particularly SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, this study aims to foster a deep sense of environmental responsibility among students. Through a comprehensive review of contemporary practices, this research aims to identify successful models and best practices that contribute to effective environmental character development. The findings from this study not only offer valuable insights for educators and administrators at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, but also contribute to a broader discussion on the integration of environmental education into the primary and religious education systems in the 21st century. Ultimately, this exploration serves as a catalyst for advancing environmental literacy and advocacy within educational settings, empowering students to become conscientious stewards capable of addressing the ecological challenges of our time. By nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious individuals, educational institutions can play a pivotal role in fostering a sustainable future for all.
