Abstract

Regional Geography Indonesia courses are subject areas of expertise in the Department of Geography FIS UNP. Based on an initial survey of learning outcomes in the Regional Geography Indonesia course in the last five years it was revealed that the achievement of learning outcomes was classified as low to moderate. Students who mastered the material 85% not more than 15% students and the average student who mastered the material 68%, meaning that students get a value of B. This study aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of the use of learning resources, the ability to read maps and socioeconomic status as well as learning motivation towards the learning outcomes of Indonesian Regional Geography. The research method used is quantitative with a path analysis approach. The population of this research is all students majoring in Geography who have taken Indonesian Regional Geography courses totalling 507 people. The research sample was drawn by proportional random sampling of 84 respondents. The analysis shows the use of learning resources (X1) the ability to read maps (X2) socioeconomic status (X3) and motivation to learn (Y), which directly or indirectly influence the regional learning outcomes of Indonesian geography (Z).

Abstract

Inggris Negara maju yang terdiri dari Negara bagian Inggris yang terdiri dari, Skotlandia, Wales, dan Irlandia Utara. System pendidikan masing masing wilaya berbeda dan pemerintah pusat sebagai pengontrol pendidikan. Di Inggris pendidikandimulai dari pendidikan dasar, tingat pertama, menega atas, dan perguruan tinggi, Inggris juga memiliki sekolah vokasi yang memiliki program mempersiapkan anak-anak untuk siap masuk dunia kerja. Untuk pendidikan sekolah dasar dan menega pertama tidak ada penilaian di akhir studi, penilaian akan dilakukan pada tingkat menegah atas untuk melihat kemapuan anak-anak yang telah diberi pendidikan keahlian sesuai bakat dan minat, evaluasi dilakukan untuk melihat kemampuan dan melanjutkan untuk jenjang perguruan tinggi. Untuk perguruan tinggi system pendidikan langsung dilakukan berbagai kualifikasi belajar kekejuruan serta akademik, untuk memperoleh sertifikat pada tingkat pendidikan tinggi dan sertifikat untuk pendidikan tingkat nasional pada jenjang yang lebih tinggi, pendidikan tinggi diploma, gelar untuk diploma nasional untuk yayasan, gelar sarjana serta master langsung terintegrasi dalam gelar kedokteran. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce biology learning materials oriented by Problem Based Learning (PBL) model containing character on circulation system topic for senior high school in terms of student activities. This research is a development research using Plomp development model. This model consists of 3 phases, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, dan assessment phase. Previous research has been done in practicality test at assessment phase. In this study continued on the assessment phase, namely effectiveness test in terms of student activities. The study was conducted in student of second years which one of Senior High School in Indonesia. The research instrument used observation sheet of student activity. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The results showed that the average value of student activity was 94.05 with very effective category. It can be concluded that biology learning material oriented by PBL model containing character on circulation system topic for senior high school has been effective in terms of student activity

Abstract

This study aims at know the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia and Japan by using five indicators, namely the objectives of Education, education management, education budget, education personnel and salaries, and the process of evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is the study of literature with a qualitative descriptive approach to see the comparison of basic education in Indonesia and Japan, the study of literature using a qualitative descriptive approach is to gather a number of references relevant to the topic of this study. The reference is taken from national journals and international journals which are then reviewed according to the needs in this study. The results of the study shows that the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia can be seen from four aspects, namely This is due to several indicators, namely (1) differences in education objectives, (2) education management; (3) Japan Education budget; (4) his education and salary; and (5) learning processes and evaluations. This study only emphasizes on five indicators of Basic Education of Indonesia and Japan. there are gaps that can be filled by subsequent research, namely curriculum, political system, character education, and so forth. This research should contribute to the policy makers of the Indonesian Education system in order to apply the five indicators of Japanese basic education to the Indonesian basic education system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana adaptasi pembelajaran melalui E-learning yang dilakukan oleh dosen digital immigrant di Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Hal ini menarik untuk dikaji, karena pada masa Pendemi Covid-19 telah mengubah sistem pelaksanaan perkuliahan di UNP dari tatap muka langsung menjadi tatap maya dengan memanfaatkan E-Learning yang tentunya bertumpu kepada penguasaan teknologi. Sementara itu ada sekelompok dosen yang lemah dalam penguasaan teknologi informasi, namun tetap harus mampu beradaptasi dengan kondisi saat ini agar proses perkuliahan tetap berjalan. Kelompok ini kemudian dikenal dengan istilah digital immigrant. Proses adaptasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh dosen digital immigrant ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori struktural fungsional dari Talcott Parsons. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran, kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosen digital immigrant memiliki keterbatasan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan platform E-Learning UNP. Bagi dosen digital immigrant sistem E-Learning UNP tersebut platform pembelajaran formal yang tidak sederhana dan tidak praktis digunakan. Namun dalam perjalanannya dosen digital immigrant tetap beradaptasi dengan cara terus belajar, sembari melaksanakan pembelajaran secara sinkronus menggunakan aplikasi digital lainnya seperti WhatsApp dan aplikasi video conference (Google Meet dan Zoom Meeting). Sementara untuk pemeliharaan pola sistem pembelajaran di E-learning UNP dosen digital immigrant meminta bantuan kepada sejawat dosen muda untuk menginputkan konten-konten tersebut ke dalam E-Learning. Namun secara prinsip, berbagai kebutuhan pelaksanaan pembelajaran seperti rencana pembelajaran semester, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, soal ujian, bahan tugas tetap disediakan oleh dosen digital immigrant. Hal ini dilakukannya untuk pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran tetap berlangsung di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Tujuan peneiltian ini adalah untuk meneliti tentang proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila pada generasi muda Karang Taruna di Kelurahaan Balai Tongah Koto, Kecamatan Payakumbuh Utara, Kota Payakumbuh. Nilai-nilai Pancasila tersebut adalah nilai ketuhanan nilai kemanusiaan, nilai persatuan, nilai musyawarah, dan nilai keadilan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana informan dalam penelitian adalah 19 perangkat serta anggota Karang Taruna di Kelurahaan Balai Tongah Koto, Kecamatan Payakumbuh Utara, Kota Payakumbuh. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan dari bulan November 2020 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2021.Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik ketekunan pengamatan dan teknik triangulasi dengan cara pengecekan data kemudian membandingkan data dengan sumber lain. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan mengacu pada model analisis Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan (verivikasi). Hasil dari pene-litian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam penelitian ini terdapat penghambat dalam melaksanakan nilai-nilai Pancasila karena kurang adanya landasan dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila, kurangnya partisipasi generasi muda, serta kurang terjalinnya kerjasama antara masyarakat dengan karang taruna. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila pada generasi muda Karang Taruna Balai Tongah Koto yang dilakukan belum sepenuhnya maksimal, karena kurangnya partisipasii dari anggota karang taruna.AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine the Process of Internalizing the Values of Pancasila to The Younger Generation of Youth Organization Tongah Koto Hall Payakumbuh City. The values of Pancasila are the values of godliness, the value of humanity, the value of unity, the value of deliberation, and the value of justice. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative research method. The informant in the research is nineteen devices and cadet coral members in The Village of Balai Tongah Koto, District Payakumbuh North, Payakumbuh City. The research was conducted for three months, from November 2020 to January 2021. Data validity test was conducted by observation perseverance technique and triangulation technique by checking data and comparing data with other sources. The data obtained was analyzed by referring to Miles and Huberman's analysis model with data reduction, data presentation, and inference (verification). The results of this study explain that there are obstacles in implementing the values of Pancasila because of the lack of foundation in the internalization of the values of Pancasila, the lack of participation of the younger generation, and the lack of cooperation between the community and youth organizations. This research concluded that the process of internalizing the values of Pancasila in the younger generation of Balai Tongah Koto youth organizations was not fully maximized due to the lack of participation of youth organization members.

Abstract

This studied aims to know the educational system in Netherland. The research method is literature review or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The result of the educational system of Netherland that the politics and structure of educational system: the Dutch government through its constitution places freedoms in the education system, namely: (a) freedom to establish educational institutions; (b) organize it; and (c) determine their own religious basis or underlying belief. The structure and type of education: there are three levels of formal Dutch education, namely primary, junior secondary and vocational education, and general high school, vocational academies and universities. The general secondary school structure consists of 4 types of schools, namely: pre-university (VWO, 6 years), vocational level I (MAVO, 4 years), and upper level (HAVO, 5 years), vocational academies, and other types of schools. The education management; The form of the Dutch education system is centralized. The responsibility of the central government lies in matters relating to the organization, funding, inspections, examinations, promotion innovation. The reflection of educational of netherland; role of the education inspectorate is very large in controlling the implementation of education in the Netherlands.

Abstract

This article focuses on the development of, and research about, a strong democracy education intervention, the Just Community approach. Three questions frame the discussion: 1) Does Just Community change student or do student in these program change their school? 2) How Just Community change student and how Just Community change their school? 3) How can democracy be 'learned' by student in these program? This article begins with a brief history of the Just Community approach, a description of the original developmental model created by Lawrence Kohlberg, some research has been created in European and US. Just Community’s theoretical basis: Piaget’s cognitive development theory and Durkheim’s view of collective socialization. How to run this program? The aim of the program and implementation for education.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the comparison of policies between Indonesia and Malaysia. his comparison is needed to develop Indonesian education policies so that the quality of Indonesian education policies in the future will be better. Research methodology: The research method uses a literature study because it compares education policies. Especially character education between Indonesia and Malaysia. Results: The results showed that Indonesia’s education policies were still categorized as low because it was based on the four components being compared, namely character education goals, character education strategies, education structures, and education management. Limitations: This study focuses on four components of education policy, particularly character education. There are other parts that can be discussed by further research, namely other parts of Education policy, and can also be compared with other countries. Contribution: This research can be a consideration for Indonesian policyholders, especially the aspect of character education because it can improve the quality of Indonesian education.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims at describing the planning of the education system that will be adapted that it is necessary to make comparisons in order to improve the quality of the education system and contribute to the government in considering making policies to improve the Indonesian education system. Research methodology: The research design is used a case study to compare the education system between Indonesia and Finnish and literature review to collect relevant research. Results: The results of the study indicated that the Indonesian education curriculum is classified as low because it is based on five curriculum components, namely objectives, contents-materials, media, learning strategies, and learning process. Limitations: This study focuses on the five curriculum components in the Indonesian education system generally, so that there is a gap that can be filled by future researchers by discussing more deeply along with examples from other countries. Contribution: This research contributes to curriculum policyholders in the Indonesian education system because it can be a reference for improving the quality of the Indonesian education system.
